161  Economy / Economics / Re: workers are slaves and salary is just a bond tied to worker to keep them working on: September 03, 2024, 12:23:00 PM
I also believe jobs can build value and skillset for them to later be used by people as a stepping stone to starting their own businesses. Basically, the story you described is an example of how one might use his or her time as an employee to acquire the resources necessary for self-sufficiency. Not every work leads to entrepreneurship, some people experience stagnant careers that limit their growth or equip them with the needed competencies in running businesses. Besides, not everyone wants to own a company; rather, there exist those who find satisfaction and stability while working for other people. It is vital to note that jobs might serve as good grounds for learning but may also not suit everybody perfectly.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Accept cryptocurrency decentralization to avoid segregations of personalities on: September 03, 2024, 11:21:15 AM
Printing excessive amounts of paper money is a problem that can lead to consequences like inflation especially when it has been done on several occasions such as with American dollars during COVID-19 pandemic which caused a fast rise in prices. More often than not, centralization favors the rich rather than average people, thus increasing wealth gap. However, it is important for one to note that bitcoin and other virtual currencies are faced with their own challenges as well. For instance, there is huge ownership inequality in which a small fraction of bitcoin owners hold the greater part of supply.

As much as decentralized coins give users more control over their cash, they come with risks too such as scams and hacks. In just the year 2021 itself, fraudulent activities accounted for more than 14 billion dollars loss due to crypto thefts. If bitcoin were to be more accepted by society, it might risk being centralized again resulting into problems like those faced by fiat currency. Therefore despite having advantages and disadvantages for both systems, perhaps finding an equilibrium between them could be the best way to go ahead.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've Been Wasting My Time With Bitcoin on: September 03, 2024, 11:11:21 AM
I never knew the real money was in altcoins and shitcoins. Bitcoin is simply for rich investors. If you're just starting out in cryptocurrency investing, it's best to ignore Bitcoin and the hype it receives on this forum. The secret to making any money from crypto is NOT bitcoin. Research, test, and see for yourself.

I get what you mean, you are saying that investing altcoin will give more profit, sure in a very special case altcoin can go x10 or even x100 in a short time, but there are thousands of altcoin now, and dozens new altcoins every month, statistically speaking you are more likely to marry a celebrity rather than choosing the right altcoin that give you x10 or even x100 profit. And the alternative when you get a shitcoin you will more likely to lose all of your money when the developer just ran and the coin become worthless.

Just like any other investment, in crypto more profit will have more risk. Bitcoin might give you small profit in a short time but it's far less risky compared to altcoin. And you can start buying bitcoin with very small amount, so you don't need to be rich to buy bitcoin.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: The continuing decline of China's economy - what are the implications ? on: September 03, 2024, 05:40:19 AM
China’s economic future could go a few different ways. One option is that China adapts by focusing more on domestic innovation and technology, and building stronger trade relationships with other countries. This could help China find new areas of growth and keep developing, though possibly more slowly.

Another possibility is that China makes policy changes to fix current problems, like improving the business environment and attracting more foreign investment. There’s also the chance that China could increase government control over the economy, which might offer short-term stability but could affect long-term efficiency. Lastly, China might seek new trade partners and alliances outside the West to reduce reliance on Western markets and find new economic opportunities.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes uses "suddenly braced for" on almost every bitcoin topic on: September 02, 2024, 10:36:04 AM
Yeah because they did some analysis on their headlines and found that using the words "suddenly braced for" leads to more views. The more views they get the more advertising they get. For every user that clicks the link and reads there are like 3-5 ads inside it.

This is generally why many of these news outlets publish negative news ahead of positive news. No one really wants to read about the success of a company only its failures and hence why typically there is more negative news than positive news.

I think this argument make more sense rather then a media in a level of Forbes just being lazy and use AI, I didn't say they are good, what I mean is that they have the budget to hire professionals. I mean it more likely that they use AI to generate headline that will attract more view not just because don't want to make an effort to make their own headline, and they definitely do some redacting before publish their article.

After all nowadays media exist only for views and ads. They will do anything to get more view and ads, including using AI generated headline to feed the algorithm. We as the reader are the one that decide whether we want to supports their practice by clicking their article or not.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will shrink the economy on: September 02, 2024, 10:27:17 AM
I got your point, if Bitcoin is widely adopted, it could change how we think about and approach economic growth. It might lead to more thoughtful growth focused on saving and investing rather than just spending on unnecessary things. This could result in better investments in new ideas and infrastructure, and avoid wasting resources on things driven by inflation.
However, Bitcoin could also encourage smarter financial decisions and create a more balanced and efficient economy, focusing on essentials and long-term stability. The idea that Bitcoin would hurt the economy doesn’t consider how new financial tools and changes in central bank policies could adapt. Overall, Bitcoin’s impact could be positive by shaping a healthier, more resilient economy aimed at sustainable growth and long-term success.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: If cryptocurrencies disappear - how will your life change ? on: September 02, 2024, 03:19:28 AM
Well first thing, I will lose my job, I work on blockchain industry, and as freelance most of my client also from blockchain Industry. I will need to find a local job with low salary definitely. I don't have much portfolio on crypto but still I will lose some money. But the certain thing is I will get any job that I can, and I think there is also many people who will lose their job so the competition will be tight and fierce, I am not sure what will happened next, but surely I will be depressed for a few days.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have two mindsets in crypto and irl world? on: September 02, 2024, 03:15:04 AM
I can relate to OP, I am more easily to spend 'digital' money, not just on crypto, any money that is digital. I think it's because we don't hold it physically, while before this time we always have physical money, and digital money easier to be spent, we can spend it while laying around on the sofa in our house. But maybe the newer generation that has known digital money since they understand how to spend it will have different perspective.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: censorship in Brazil: Twitter ban and free Starlink service as bank accounts fro on: September 01, 2024, 10:35:59 AM
I don't think I would call a government a dictatorship just because they want twitter to be banned. But if the government is truly freeze people bank accounts then it's truly dictatorship, people will lose their job and there will be chaos just because an X profile. Moreover the Brazil's government is also not that smart, if the problem is they want to block some twitter profiles, they could just pay some bot farmer to mass report the twitter profiles as how it usually done by other governments.
170  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ Gamegram.com ♣ Unique PvP Games | $23,680 Bonus | No-Wager Bonuses & Cashback on: September 01, 2024, 10:27:51 AM
But I also want to give advice to the team, consistency in forum marketing is the key to success here, because of that people will really believe in the casino, and they will discuss more about this Gamegram.com for the continuation of their project for the better, there will be more feedback and suggestions about the casino in the future if it continues to actively market like other big casinos.

Competition between casinos is not easy and I am sure every new casino will consider spending a lot of money to promotions to get a lot of interest from its potential customers. Continuous promotions carried out on forums can certainly increase a lot of interest among users, this is because the publicity of their casino often appears everywhere. Promotion doesn't only exist on forum, it also needs to exist on other platforms and one of them is on Twitter (X) or other social media platforms.

Moreover, affiliate programs are also useful for increasing traffic to the casino, especially if the casino is promoted by those who have a large follower base in various media. I haven't tried it, but first, welcome to the forum.

It is true that casinos competition in this forum is very tight, and promotion and bonuses is very important, but there is also other factors that make casino stand out among other, by looking at their site and how they introduce their service in this forum GameGram wants to highlight their PvP games, and not many casino do that. Just tried the Rock Scissors Paper, it's fun, but I hope they will soon introduce more PvP games, then I am sure they will get their own customer niche.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: How has this bad economic affected marriage ? on: September 01, 2024, 02:16:47 AM
I am fortunate that I still earn more than enough to supports my family, but I have seen many of my friends marriage collapsing because of economic struggle, and it's not like they aren't employed or they don't work hard, they both was employee but the husband got laid off because the company need to do some efficiency

.The one that suffering the most of this bad economics is the children and the next generation, they started with less nutritious food, and less facility and privilege, while the competition is getting more fierce everyday.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dubai approves bitcoin for salary payment on: September 01, 2024, 02:10:22 AM
Dubai finally approving crypto for salary payments is a big step, but it’s kind of overdue. The city has been a hub for blockchain startups and events for a while now, so you’d think this would’ve happened sooner. Still, it’s great to see Dubai catching up and officially embracing crypto in a way that could make a real impact. This move could really boost confidence in using digital currencies for more everyday things, like getting paid.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Finally Lost Its Decentralization? on: September 01, 2024, 02:05:45 AM
Who buys or owns most of Bitcoin's won't have big influence on Bitcoin decentralization, Bitcoin's blockchain continues to be secured by thousands of independent miners around the world, and participation is open to anyone with an internet connection. The problem will occur when big company invest in mining and take over 51% of Bitcoin network. Bu I think the Bitcoin community will remain vigilant in advocating for decentralization, whether it’s by supporting smaller miners, using decentralized exchanges, or developing new technologies that keep the power distributed. While Bitcoin hasn’t fully “sold out,” the growing influence of large entities is something we should watch closely to ensure that it stays true to its decentralized roots.
174  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: Iklan Perjudian on: August 31, 2024, 12:43:23 PM

175  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Silent Payment Bitcoin on: August 31, 2024, 12:34:36 PM

176  Economy / Economics / Re: My view of economy on: August 31, 2024, 05:40:17 AM
Trading is a skill too actually, if you don't have ambitions then you wouldn't even try to trade or earn profit from your trade, you would just live your life empty. The fact that you are still want to trade and enjoying life means that you still have ambitions.

And you shouldn't think that people who do skillful work don't enjoy their life, by learning that skill and become the best at what they do is how those skillful people enjoying their life. Enjoying life is not always about money, its' about getting fully content, and one of the way is being the best at something, be better than other people and most of all be the best version of ourself.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Money root of evil and root of fear on: August 31, 2024, 05:22:52 AM

I like to test this idea i myself not poor Im quite well financially but i hate that our society have lost sense of humanity and only will considering you as human how rich you are or how much money you have.
It's even in the real life people see that If something happens with someone .....before they go to help or something they first run "the quick check in their mind "how wealthy this person are what's the status of person or other stats and then they make decisions...If it's worth to help by them.
We do lose sense of humanity more and more.

I got what you are talking about at the last paragraph here, but your title is quite missleading, I wouldn't blame it on the money itself. Money is just a tool, just like a knife it can be used to cook a good meal, or to kill people, its we can't blame it on the knife, the blame is to the one holding it  what they use it for. And I do agree that on todays society people were valued by the wealth that their own, but again it's not the wealth fault, even if there is no money people will still valued others by some other thing, their status, their ancestry etc.

Even tho the number is small but there is still good people that has a lot of money, and the mentality to blame money is the one that discourage people from gaining it. The people who blame money for problem, unconsciously wouldn't want to make an effort to get money, those kind of people wouldn't gain wealth, and whether we accept it or not, the best way to contribute to humanity and to be useful for other needs money.
