161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 12, 2023, 10:38:17 PM
~snip~
Like the feeling that, "just try one more time, this could be that lucky spin you have been looking and waiting for since, if you quit now, all the money you lost is gone, take one more spin and possibly recover  all the money you've lost since", and then, you keep tapping the spin button after each loss, hoping one becomes that jackpot for you, and before you know what's happening, bankroll is empty 😂😂..

^It is quite familiar to this situation.
I understand the sentiment that you are describing. It is a familiar feeling, like being caught in a cycle of hope and desperation and the belief was that one more try could turn everything around. It is tempting to keep pressing that spin button as if each new attempt holds the promise of redemption. But as the losses accumulate and the excitement fades, it is important to remember the risks involved.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts and wishes, luck may not be on our side. It is a very risky decision in a situation with caution, knowing when to step back and reassess. We should always remember that there are limits and being mindful of the potential consequences can help preserve not only our financial well-being but also our emotional well-being. So never chase lose if you feel that luck was not on your side.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 09:29:47 PM

Learning is a continuous process
^ You already said it.
If you lose in trading, that is part of a learning process.
If you have negative outcomes in trading, that is a part of the learning process.
Whatever the consequences whether it is bad or good at least we learn and we know how to avoid them in the future, and regarding greed, I don't argue that because was a part of a human being that we individually must control and against it. Always put in mind to be cautious when it comes to handling financial decisions, especially in trading which is always associated with risk. Try to play safe, just invest and hold for a long term.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 08, 2023, 09:16:23 PM
~snip~
Now let's be sincere, will you also classify a successful gambler as an addict?
^They are different from me.
Let me say, frequent gambling and gambling addiction are related but not necessarily the same thing, though may not necessarily indicate a problem, there is a small chance that it can increase the risk of developing gambling-related issues, and how about successful gambling without having an addiction issue?
To answer this, success in gambling does not automatically indicate addiction. A successful gambler is someone who may have developed skills, knowledge, or strategies that allow them to win more often than lose. They probably approach gambling as a form of entertainment or a calculated investment by having a bit of luck. But still that even successful gamblers can still be prone to the risk of developing gambling addiction if they exhibit signs of loss of control, negative consequences, or other addictive behaviors associated with gambling. In short, not to be seen as an addict is to have a limit on yourself.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: July 08, 2023, 09:00:27 PM
I agree. Mindset is very important when it comes to gambling such as thinking wisely and cashing out your winnings instead of making riskier bets after a huge win.

Personally, I have a rule that when I get lucky once, I should take that opportunity to quit and not gamble on my luck again. It might be a day of pure luck for me, but I choose not to risk it further. I'm not the type of person who gets greedy and thinks that if I win once, it's not enough for the day! Smiley
^It could also be called, determination for me.
Because in my own opinion, the true winners in the realm of gambling are those who possess mental strength and emotional control, coupled with effective money management skills. We must understand the significance of preserving our winnings and making wise financial decisions, especially in gambling. By exercising discipline and avoiding impulsive risks, they increase our chances of accumulating wealth over time.
Think about it, for me,  it is not solely about winning at gambling, it is about cultivating a mindset that supports long-term financial stability.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 08, 2023, 08:30:24 PM
I was attracted to gambling when a friend of mine who was always known as a risk taker in gambling finally won a huge amount of money the news spread all over the town because no body ever believed that you can be paid such amount in a betting platform even though the news was been advertised all over the place. Long story short my friend started introducing me to some soccer prediction site and as time goes by I was fully committed to gambling and as a lover of football, betting in a football match became one of my hubby. About my good experience as a gambler, I was lucky to win a very big amount in a soccer match but the day I lost all my savings I almost got a heart because the pains refused to go away.
^ It is the same story here and where all my gambling habits started.
Before when I was not involved in gambling, I only watch those sports events, cheering my favorite team while watching but now, I realized that it is good while cheering them you also place bets hoping that you will win and I think that is how I attracted gambling.
But probably in other, when it comes to gambling, people are often attracted by a combination of factors, and experiences can vary greatly between on us. Some may find the thrill of taking risks and the potential for big wins alluring, while most of us may enjoy the social aspect of playing with friends or in a lively casino atmosphere. However, remember that gambling can have both positive and negative outcomes for us.
166  Economy / Gambling / Re: What other gambling sites offers free bitcoins like freebitco on: July 08, 2023, 08:17:08 PM
freebitco.in si widely known for their long time running faucet and most of the casinos at that that do faucet vanish or stopped their faucet feature. Other casinos now are just doing rains on the chat to motivate gamblers to be active on their public chats. I missed the days where majority of the reputable casinos has their own faucet to invite players to try their casinos. I remember that I won hundred bucks from a certain casino by just using their faucet feature and got no problem at all withdrawing that money but today it's hard to do it knowing that the amount that you get from a faucet is pretty small.
^ I remember those times when I was new in crypto searching about BTC and when I search the word (free bitcoin) I landed on Freebitco.in a site that gives free BTC. A website that offers various features related to BTC, including a faucet that provides users with small amounts of BTC for free. The faucet allows users to claim a certain amount of BTC at regular intervals, typically every hour, this feature was designed to introduce new users to BTC and provide them with a small amount of cryptocurrency to get started and this how I start knowing gambling casinos.
As of now, there are a lot of casinos giving a free small fraction of BTC as a part of a marketing strategy and I think it is because of Freebitco.in's idea. However, it has been given the link above about the casino's faucets here aside from Freebitco.in and I think before hunting the faucet it must be good to know to read first the terms.
167  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some poker terminologies you may want to know on: July 08, 2023, 08:04:09 PM
there are other poker terminologies you may want to know, such as
.
.~snip~
^I think there are more that you have missed.
Just like Blinds, it is forced bets placed by two players before the start of each hand. The player to the left of the dealer posts the small blind, and the player to their left posts the big blind.
Another is the Showdown, the final phase of a hand where the remaining players reveal their whole cards, and the best hand wins the pot.
However, you have an interesting list that I must know also poker game has terminologies the same as the crypto space that there is also terminologies.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 07, 2023, 10:45:54 PM
I think it is a little bit too early to hype the "Halving"  Roll Eyes .... because it is only scheduled to happen next year around April. Yes, the impact of the "Halving" can be seen about one or two months before the actual "Halving", because the markets reacts before the actual event... but it is still too far in the future.

In any way... in my experience with the "Halving" ... I can honestly say that it has very little impact on the price. It will increase in the first two months before the event, when the media coverage highlight it.... and then it is gone.   Tongue
I'm not surprised that people are talking about halving as we are expecting something good things happen in the market. In fact, many speculations arise and most of them are positive.

Might it give impact only a little but remember that the mindset of the people had already changed as well, we never know if this coming halving will affect more on the price. Well, it was not the thing we looked for but the result after halving as the bull season is about to start as what I experienced in the past halvings.
^ It happened in the past so it is possible it will happen in the future.
There is a good result that happened in the past and it was a long bull run after the halving, possible it will also happen after this next halving which people expected that there could be a bull run.
Remember that BTC halving can have an impact on the price of BTC, it is important to note that it is just one of many factors that can influence the cryptocurrency's value. The anticipation of halving can create a sense of excitement and speculation among investors, leading some people to hold onto their BTC in the hope that its value will increase.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What crypto porfolio trackers are people using? on: July 07, 2023, 10:17:26 PM
I use Delta application, because it is easy to use and very simple, then you can also see news and signals about cryptocurrency in Delta application or you can also use Crypto Blockfolio application, because Crypto Blockfolio is also very comfortable to use, but of course I prefer Delta rather than Crypto Blockfolio and both applications are available in play store and app store.
^ I have been used this also recently when Blockfolio was not available on the mobile app.
Delta is a popular portfolio-tracking app for both cryptocurrencies and traditional investments. It offers a clean and intuitive interface, real-time price updates, and a range of portfolio analysis tools. Delta supports multiple exchanges and allows users to sync their holdings automatically. It supports automatic syncing with various cryptocurrency exchanges and wallet addresses. This means that once you set up the integration, your portfolio balances and transaction history will be automatically updated. It saves time and eliminates the need for manual entry.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: July 07, 2023, 10:00:56 PM
I've studied most Bitcoin investors, those who have money to invest are the ones going around looking for someone to teach them how to invest, the first thing they want to learn is how to use the exchange to make purchases using Fiat on the exchange, they are always in hurry, they have no time.

Those who don't have money, have all the time to keep learning and reading stuff online about Bitcoin and the crypto space, they have no reason to be in any hurry and it seems they are the ones that avoid the unnecessary dramas in the crypto space because they took their time to learn first.

Do not walk away from Bitcoin investment because you don't have the money, it's even better not to have money because you will have the patience to learn more about everything, and when the money comes, you will be able to avoid many dramas.
^ From my own perspective of view, it is interesting to observe the different approaches of BTC investors based on their financial situations. Based also on my analysis it appears that those with available funds often seek out someone to teach them how to invest. Their initial focus typically revolves around learning how to use exchanges and making fiat purchases. These people are often in a hurry, lacking time to spare. While considering, those without immediate financial means tend to invest their time in learning and researching BTC and the crypto space online. Their lack of urgency allows them to avoid unnecessary dramas prevalent in the crypto space. Remember, not having money should not discourage you from BTC investment. In fact, it can be advantageous as it provides the opportunity to patiently acquire knowledge. When the time comes for you to invest, you will be better equipped to navigate potential pitfalls and minimize unnecessary complications.

171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 07, 2023, 09:50:30 PM
It sounds odd that the Olympics are allowed to use doping because the athlete gets an unfair advantage if the opponent is better doped.
because using doping is the same as doing sports or matches not based on ability or talent, it's just that they have extraordinary physical abilities. The hard work and determination of many sportsmen and coaches goes to waste and sport starts to lose its beauty and values, besides that doping can make people addicted and can cause some serious health problems.
^ Yeah, that is definitely very sad to consider that the Olympics would permit the use of doping, as it gives an unfair advantage to athletes who choose to enhance their performance through artificial means. The essence of sports lies in the display of ability, talent, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, rather than relying solely on extraordinary physical capabilities obtained through doping. The dedication and efforts of countless athletes and coaches could be undermined, causing the sport to lose its inherent beauty and values. But on my own I think doping poses serious health risks and can lead to addiction, further compromising the well-being of individuals involved. It is risky to prioritize fair competition and uphold the integrity of sports to maintain their true essence and promote a healthy environment for athletes.
172  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 07, 2023, 09:42:45 PM
Anyway, what update do we have now. Are they back in the track or still the site maintenance continues?
they are still under maintenance, five days have passed since they went under maintenance. GekkeBelg and ligz seem to be a member of Betnomi's group chat on Telegram, perhaps they can update us on whether Betnomi has posted anything about the status of their gambling site.
^That is very frustrating to the gamblers of Betnomi, without updates and it has been 5 days.
Because for me, it is less worry if they have become transparent about their update, and prior to the maintenance period, it is important to assess the trustworthiness and reliability of the casino. Suppose the casino has a history of good customer service and maintaining open lines of communication. In that case, it may be more likely that the lack of updates is due to unforeseen circumstances rather than any malicious intent.
If someone can reach to their team, they should give updates here in the forum.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not Just Buy BTC? on: July 06, 2023, 10:54:00 PM
I've seen over one dozen websites believing that BTC will skyrocket in the upcoming years.
The platform I use is Coinbase.
I'm thinking of just buying BTC-USD and just leaving it be.
Any thoughts on this strategy?

There's nothing wrong if you buy Bitcoin today because I believe in the future you are going to be profitable. Some people just waited for a right time to invest Bitcoin because they think that the best time to buy is year 2024. Well for me, since I relying on my analysis in Bitcoin technically, this is the best time to invest in Bitcoin because it's very cheap. Base on my analysis, market was already bullish but there's just no enough investors to result an impulsive movements in the upside and that's why people thinking it's still bearish.
^There should be faith before investing in BTC and if you believe that BTC price will increase because for me, anytime is the perfect time to buy BTC, and as long as you did not sell it under the price from your purchase, considering that is the best for you. Because BTC has been proven that there will be a bullish trend and we are lucky if the ATH will come because it will surely have a reward.
Look at the BTC, it has seen increased adoption over the years, with more businesses accepting it as a form of payment and financial institutions offering BTC-related services. The development of infrastructure around BTC, such as cryptocurrency exchanges and custodial services, has also improved, making it easier for individuals to buy, sell, and store BTC.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: July 06, 2023, 10:32:29 PM
In your one case OP, greed of gambling have consumed you whole, if I can turn 1000$ into 100,000$ I will never return and if I have to return, I will start using small amount to gamble, when you accept that gambling and winning is complete luck, you will know how to gamble when you accept that fact.
^That is definitely right.
Gambling outcomes are largely based on luck, and acknowledging this fact can help you make not to chase your losses. Understanding that winning is not guaranteed and that the odds are often against you can assist in managing expectations and avoiding excessive risks.
If you do choose to engage in gambling, starting with smaller amounts can be a responsible approach, allowing you to enjoy the activity without risking significant losses. It is important to set clear limits, both in terms of the amount of money you are willing to gamble and the time you are willing to dedicate to it.
175  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com Disabled Account After $250K WIN on: July 06, 2023, 09:59:49 PM
I was expecting series of screenshot of the conversation or link to the screenshot after writing the wall of text.  At the same time I am also expecting some of the transaction of his deposits but all I see was just plain texts without any link to a proof about the conversation.  So I am also suspicious that this is all made up and worst is the donation request on the latter part of the story.  I wonder why there are lots of fake scam accusation appearing these days.  It looks like scammers thinks blackmailing casinos is an easy money for them.
^This is not new here, I saw a lot of thread scammers acting like a victim of a casino seeking sympathy to the community with their fake accusations, but no none of them has successfully fooled people here.
Not this blog, for concrete evidence, such as screenshots or transaction records, to support the conversation and claims made. Without verifiable proof, it is natural to be skeptical about the authenticity of the story. Unfortunately, the prevalence of fake scam accusations can make it difficult to discern genuine situations from fabricated ones. It is important to remain cautious and verify the information before drawing conclusions.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge One Million Dice Bets with Profit every week. on: July 06, 2023, 09:48:52 PM
@OP
these are bad quotes  Angry
" Quit gambling also seems like impossible."
if you can't stop betting or realize that you have gambled "too much money"
"This ******* account cost me at least 350k USDT."
you should review your plans and avoid doing further activities (like a stream) which in turn will force you to bet even more...
I notice that other people are saying the same thing... (like Hispo one message behind me...)
^When we are in the addiction stage level, it is hard to get up and recover on our own, this man needs what Hispo said.
To @OP, in order to shape your life and live a more fulfilling one, it can be helpful to find alternative activities that can sometimes forget your gambling addictive habit. Exploring new hobbies, learning new skills, or spending time with friends who engage in different activities can broaden your horizons and provide a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
However, I smell something not good with the OP, it seems there is something hidden and has a purpose of this always posting on the forum asking the community.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion - Being an Active Poster in the Gambling Board on: July 05, 2023, 11:01:39 PM
~snip~
  • Has being an active participant in the gambling section helped you develop more effective strategies for winning bets?
  • Has it aided you in overcoming gambling addiction (if you were addicted) or developing healthier gambling habits?
  • Have you noticed an overall improvement in your gambling experiences?
^My answer is YES these all questions.
This forum engagement will really help us as a gambler because we understand the risks associated with gambling, recognizing that it is primarily a game of chance with odds typically favoring the house. This awareness helps them approach gambling with caution and reduces the likelihood of becoming addicted. Another is knowledgeable individuals are familiar with responsible gambling practices, such as setting limits on time and money spent. They understand the importance of gambling within their means and avoid impulsive or excessive behavior. And also understanding the mathematics and probabilities involved in various gambling activities prevents them from falling into the trap of chasing losses or relying on superstitions. The last thing is, we know how to verify the game that has a provably fair system.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 05, 2023, 10:48:15 PM
There is a thing of pre-determined.

So, in a program most the time like (Slot) and these games. The result is already pre-determined even in the case these coming from the user like internet death and other, the result already can be found as long is matches with the provably-fair most the time.
~snip~
^I agree with this, there is a thing of pre-determined.
But in my mind, glitches and programming errors can occasionally occur in virtual games, leading to unexpected outcomes or incorrect score updates. However, without further information or investigation, it is difficult to definitively determine if it was indeed a bug. If OP encountered this issue while playing or betting on a specific virtual game, I would recommend reaching out to the game developers or platform administrators to inquire about the situation and seek clarification on the matter. They would be better have investigate and provide you with a more accurate explanation.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 04, 2023, 10:34:05 PM

~snip~
Your claim of 90% bettors losing their wagers doesn't seem to based on anything real.
^Though there are some points that OP I agreed but I think there is no exact percentage on this.
Because I believed in myself that the precise figures may vary depending on various factors such as the type of sports, the level of expertise, and the strategies employed by individual bettors.
I think having knowledge about the teams, players, and the sport itself can significantly enhance your chances of making successful bets. Conducting thorough research, analyzing historical data, and having an up to date about various factors that can influence the outcome of a game can help you identify potential opportunities.

Update 1
Boys. You can't imagine how relax I am when decide to quit gamble. Here is the way. I will stream all my gambling behavior with recording. No stream No gamble. If you are going through the same situation, join me. You will obtain a new life.
^Good for you and probably because that is the reason why you abuse gambling and become addicted to it.
Surrounding yourself with positive influences and finding alternative activities to engage in can help fill the void that gambling may leave behind.
But you cannot wish everyone the same as you want because they are not addicted to gambling, they gamble as they see they have fun on it, for example in sports betting, watching the match and placing your bets at the same time will make you more have excitement while watching.
However, we respect your decision, streaming and recording your gambling behavior is a great strategy to stay committed to your goal of quitting.
