481  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 16, 2023, 10:43:42 PM
In the long run, you can not win the house. The chance you can be lucky and win big to become rich will always be less than 1% while in long time, the house will always be the winner.

Just as it has been advised several times, gamble for just fun.
AI projects has nothing to do with gambling. Yes, it can answer our queries in gambling but it won’t give us guarantees to win in gambling. It’s still on our own luck actually when we gamble, and if we think we can beat the house, that will never happen. The house will never let us win all the time, as gambling is purely designed to put the house as having the most advantage over the gamblers themselves.
^That is definitely right, I don't know how AI works in gambling since I did not try it but I think it can assist in providing information and insights related to gambling, but it cannot guarantee a win. For me, gambling was designed for the house to have an advantage, and the odds are never in favor of the gambler. While luck may play a role in some cases, in the long run, the house always wins. It is very risky to approach gambling with caution and never rely on it as a source of income or a solution to financial problems. Instead, just gamble responsibly and within your means.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 16, 2023, 10:24:03 PM
If you’re a gambler you will not focus this that much but if you are an influencer or your job to share more projects just to get affiliates and referrer, most probably this can be more worth it for you.

Referral program works, all you have to do is to follow the terms and conditions and don’t ever try to cheat or else all your work will be wasted. Many gamblers shares their referral link as well, they consider this as an extra income while gambling and there is nothing wrong about it, just don’t expect too much.
You're right, gamblers and influencers have different tasks and gamblers don't focus on referral programs, gamblers tend to only use referral programs for their friends and don't share in promotions within certain communities. So if you want to get additional income from the referral program, then you must have a community or group that you manage so that your followers will trust your recommendations for the list of referral links that you have shared.
^Definitely right, referral programs can be a great way for influencers and marketers to earn extra income by promoting products or services to their audience. But I think we should first consider the TOS set by the program and avoid cheating, as this could result in losing your earnings and possibly being banned from the program altogether. For me as a gambler, while it's not necessarily a bad thing to share referral links and earn extra income, remember that gambling should be done responsibly and not solely as a means of earning referral bonuses and to keep a healthy balance and not let the referral program overshadow the actual gambling activity.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 16, 2023, 10:12:47 PM

^ Alejandro Santiago does not have a KO punch though which Donaire could really win despite him being older.

The one thing that's good about retiring while being a champ is that he is going to be remembered being a champ while if he retires while being beaten badly inside the ring, he will be remembered with his bloody face.
^ Sounds right but I think Santiago may not have a knockout punch, he could still pose a challenge to Donaire with his speed and agility in the ring. Probably, Donaire's experience and skill could give him the edge in this fight, even despite his age. He has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with, and his ability to adapt to his opponents' styles makes him a formidable opponent. What in my mind could be Donaire's legacy as a champion is already secured. Retiring as a champion is a great accomplishment, and it ensures that he will always be remembered as a top athlete in the sport of boxing.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 16, 2023, 10:05:56 PM
Gambling is a very profitable thing to engage in if done responsibly. Gambling has indeed made many men rich and it is still making even though most people are loosing in it. But I think that those that are making much money or already made much money from gambling are those who are favoured or those who never chased losses. It takes a lot of strategies to be a professional gambler. As a wise gambler, the moment you win big in gambling, the best thing to do at the moment is to use the money you won in gambling and invest. You can still be gambling but let it be that you have another source of income and an investment also.
These men even after winning, did not let gambling completely take back all the money that they have won by still keeping their gambling behavior under control. I am sure that they did not think that since they have won big amount, they now have more money and the luxury to gamble with some more money or increase the number of times they gambled. They were able to stay disciplined to maintain their gambling habits and the sometimes even reduce it, it is why they are successful. There are gamblers that made money, started businesses as investments, but the same business crumbled due to them not being able to control themselves and the gambling behavior. That is a terrible story to have as a businessperson.
^Definitely right, it should there be discipline and control to maintain healthy gambling habits and avoid the pitfalls that come with addiction.
I have heard so many times that there are gamblers who have made money and end up losing it all due to their inability to control their behavior. This is a cautionary tale for all businesspeople out there to be mindful of the impact of their actions on their finances and business ventures. I think exercising restraint and seeking help when necessary to avoid falling into the trap of compulsive gambling. Those people shown in the OP probably can afford either it will win or lose.
485  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 07, 2023, 09:59:41 PM
We really like to play gambling online , and there are lot of crypto gambling sites out there ,
many times i doubted the provably fair system,  that these casinos are cheating me, but what can i do ,
i come across this YouTube video that a biggest gambling site supervisor telling the truth about these sites,
that they analyze our bets and try to make us lose ,
what are your thoughts ,
Casino do have a house hedge, and gamnot.rs can't beat the house hedge because they always win. They are out for business and if every gamblers wins almost all the time,I don't think that they casino will be able to pay the winners which would lead to their ruin. If most casino run at big lost and shut down, then how will we gamblers entertain ourselves. I see gambling as fun which I have to pay for and this doesn't bother me at all. Nobody will love to run a business that he or she will run at great lost. You see it is a scam but something that we are use to,therefore, I don't see it as scam because it is your choice to gamble or not.
^ Definitely right.
The house edge of the casino is impossible for gamblers to consistently beat it.
And that is right, it matters that the casinos are businesses, and they need to make a profit to stay afloat. If they were constantly paying out large sums of money to every player who won, they would quickly go bankrupt. While it's not uncommon for some casinos to experience losses on a temporary basis, the vast majority of them are profitable in the long run. This is because the house edge ensures that they will win more often than not, which ultimately allows them to pay their bills and employees and stay in operation. While some may view gambling as a scam, others see it as a form of entertainment that they are willing to pay for. As long as players are aware of the risks and approach them responsibly, there is nothing inherently wrong with enjoying a game of chance now and then.

I message support and they say that I just need to wait for the relevant person to contact me but its been 3 days?
^I understand you and if that will happen to me, it seems I am also frustrated with this scenario.
I think one option you could consider is reaching out to the support team again and politely asking for an update on your case. You could also inquire about the best way to escalate the issue if you still don't receive a response. The link is given above the ANN thread and the forum representative is also the best way to reach out to them.
However, it is important to remain patient and courteous when dealing with customer support. They are likely doing their best to resolve your issue as quickly as possible, and getting angry or frustrated with them won't help the situation.

And something to spice it up:

You owe us some money’ – John Fury sends warning to Jake Paul over Tommy Fury fight bet

Quote
Fury sealed a split decision victory over Paul in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night to settle a feud that had raged for almost two years.

Prior to fight night, the YouTuber-turned boxer raised the stakes, offering to give his rival his entire cut of the fight purse if he could become the first man to beat him.

John Fury eagerly agreed to those terms on his son’s behalf before the former Love Island star crossed the stage to shake hands and seal the deal.

Source: https://metro.co.uk/2023/03/01/john-fury-sends-warning-to-jake-paul-over-tommy-fury-fight-bet-18369562/?ito=newsnow-feed

Jake Paul has to pay that bet, even if there is not a written contract the terms were extremely simple and they both agreed to it, and if he refuses I think Tommy Fury has enough grounds to take this to court and win, and at that point most likely he will have to pay for the lawyers expenses and the interests accumulated during that time too, so he better pays up, besides if he refuses this will be a hit to his reputation as we will know his word is worth nothing on his eyes and he is willing to go back so easily on it.
^ That is right, if there is a dispute over the terms of a bet or agreement, it is always best to have a written contract to avoid confusion or misunderstandings. This helps to establish clear expectations and ensures that both parties understand their obligations. Because for me, if Jake Paul made a bet with Tommy Fury and both parties agreed to the terms, then Jake Paul should honor the bet and pay up, regardless of whether or not there was a written contract. Reneging on a bet could certainly damage his reputation and could be he is not a trustworthy person.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Suggestions About Investment in new projects on: March 04, 2023, 09:48:55 PM
Hello everyone, I want to ask that investing in new projects has worth or not because to many scams projects now a days and i am afraid of losing money.
I wanna invest in quizbox.finance and this project looks really amazing and unique. what you guys think about this.
I need suggestions,

Website: https://quizbox.finance/

^This is not good, you should not ask for financial advice from anyone else, you must have your own research.
It is good to take a thoughtful and strategic approach when investing in new projects. Here are my personal factors that can give you an insight into investing new project, you can increase your chances of success and make informed decisions about where to put your money.
First, before investing in any project, it is important to determine your risk tolerance. If you are willing to take on higher risk for potentially higher returns, then you may be comfortable investing in newer or more experimental projects. However, if you prefer a more conservative approach, you may want to consider established projects that have a track record of success. Because for me, investing in a new project seem to like are gambling your money. I don't know quizbox but if it is new, you should be aware by now of what I suggested above.
489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 04, 2023, 09:37:08 PM
As for the type of trader who struggles to make a profit despite having their emotions under control and basic trading skills, they could be called an unprofitable trader. My advice to such a person would be to seek out additional education and training in trading, work with a mentor or coach, and continue to refine their trading approach until they find a strategy that works for them. It's important to remember that trading is a learning process, and there will always be ups and downs along the way.
^ That is it, it is important to acknowledge that emotions and basic trading skills are just a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to profitable trading. There are many other factors that can contribute to success, including market knowledge, risk management, and discipline. Continuously learning and expanding one's knowledge is crucial for staying up to date with the latest trends and strategies in the market. Working with a mentor or coach can also provide valuable insights and guidance, helping traders to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop a personalized trading plan. Because for me, there will inevitably be setbacks and losses along the way, but with persistence and dedication, traders can refine their approach and find a strategy that works for them. It takes time and effort, but the rewards of successful trading are well worth it.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you feel when your government make BTC legal? on: March 04, 2023, 09:31:13 PM
My way to class this morning with some of my lovely course mate, someone raise this question that if our government decide to adopt BTC or make BTC legal how will i feel? I told him that the day our government will announce that BTC is now fully legalized in the country, I will throw a big party to host all the bitcoiners in my environment to join me to celebrate. If your government decide to adopt BTC or make BTC legal in your country, how will you feel?  Will you be among the people that will be angry because i know there are some people in our various places that think BTC is a scam digital currency which is not true, will you go to make them to understand it better in a positive way?
^Most countries now are BTC-friendly and I don't think how many of them decided to become legal tender.
Talking legal tender is difficult for the government side which is why until now recognition is the best way to show their support. If the government were to make BTC legal, it would be important to educate people about what Bitcoin is and how it works. This could help dispel any misconceptions or fears that people might have and encourage them to approach Bitcoin with an open mind. Educating people about BTC's potential benefits and risks would help them make informed decisions about whether to invest in it or not.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 04, 2023, 08:59:36 PM
~snip~

If you made a billion dollars or even more, as someone who love gambling/betting and have been doing this on several other casinos for many years now, would you rather start your own casino?
Or would you prefer to keep gambling, doing your sports betting on other casinos even when you know you have more than enough money to start your own casinos and make the casino as big as you want it to be??

Inputs are greatly appreciated.
^ That is a huge sum to start with and I think even a million dollars could become a start of a business.
But put in mind that running a successful casino requires a lot of expertise, resources, and effort, and it can also be a high-risk venture.
If you continue to gamble or bet on other casinos can be a more straightforward and less risky option. With a billion dollars or more, a person could potentially place very high bets and make significant profits without the added stress and responsibilities of owning a casino but if you cannot manage it well, it boils down again to zero. So the decision would depend on the individual's priorities and goals. Some people probably find the challenge and excitement of running a casino worth the effort and risks, while others probably prefer to focus on their gambling and enjoy the benefits of their wealth without the added stress of running a business. For me, I will choose to keep gamble for less responsibility.

You can't run solo when running an online casino. Take note that you can have all the money but are you ready for other areas you need to take care of?
Such as technical support, security, licensing and other aspect of the site to make it in the competition. Do you think you can find other people that are capable of these areas?
Do you also think you can handle the stress brought about by daily operations, it doesn't stop on day one when you launch the site, but it is continuous
process of improvement, innovation on your site to compete with other casinos? Are you up for this challenge?
If you think you already cover all the areas in running a casino and you feel confident about it, then, maybe try running your own site and see where it will bring you.
^It was already said above, do you need to rephrase it?
It requires a lot of expertise and resources, especially in areas such as technical support, security, licensing, and other aspects of the site. While it is certainly possible to find other people who are capable of handling these areas, it is important to have a solid team in place to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the casino. If you can be able to handle the pressure and constant need for improvement and innovation and if you are up for this challenge and feel confident that you can cover all the areas of running a casino, then maybe starting your own site is worth considering. Because for me, running a successful casino is a complex and competitive business, and there is no guarantee of success. It is important to weigh the potential rewards against the risks and make an informed decision based on your skills, resources, and goals.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambler has 100% trust in each stake on: March 04, 2023, 08:46:35 PM
Trust is not always a thing in football, that's why it's called gambling. A team or player that looks promising may end up not delivering his/their skills when you place all trust in them. The Arsenal game played today, alot of people had trust in Saka to score yet he didn't and a different body, Nelson, came from the bench to surprise fans. Sometimes these players play fine, hence considering their weekly performances 100 percent is wrong because being in form is not consistent. In gambling don't trust the player's just gamble with your techniques.
^Definitely right!
Even the most reliable and consistent players can have an off-day, get injured, or face unexpected challenges during the game that can affect their performance. That is why gambling is called a game of chance. It involves risk-taking and uncertainty, and there is always a chance that your prediction or bet may not come through. While knowledge and research can help inform your decisions, it is essential to approach gambling with a responsible attitude and only stake what you can afford to lose. This highlights the unpredictable nature of sports and why it is crucial to manage your expectations and that we should prepare for any outcome.

494  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: March 04, 2023, 08:25:13 PM
Does being an observer makes much difference from partaking on the street gambling, it's better to combine the two or not to have any at all, some gamblers don't mind gambling on the street or watching those gambling because they care less about being reserved and take privacy with low priority, while come gamblers cannot make such mistakes to downgrade themselves because of their reputation and whom they were, so at the end of it all, our choice is what determines either way we take when dealing with gambling at anytime.
What ever way we choose to do whether we care less about street gambling because of our reputation or we don't mind gambling on the street because we want to make more money or we see it as an opportunity to showcase our potential as a gambler, we need to go for what suit our interest not minding the other way round. Fro me I would not want to engage in street gambling because of my reputation and how secretive i am when I want to gamble publicly.
I haven't really thought about the secretive aspect when it comes to gamble on the streets. This probably depends on where you live and how many people you know there. I got so used to live in a big city where you rarely walk into somebody you know that I wouldn't worry about people finding out that I gamble publicly. Usually I am quite open about my hobby and so far I didn't have any negative consequences for it. In my country street gambling is not really common that's why I would be a bit sceptical at first when it would appear regularly. It would illegal as they don't have a gambling licence and probably not paying any taxes. There is no security for the gambler also that would help us to get our money in case the people don't want to pay our winnings.
^I can understand why some people might be concerned about the secretive aspect of street gambling, but personally, I have not really thought about it. 495  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best crypto casino for Netherlands? on: March 04, 2023, 08:16:18 PM
Top casinos these days usually ask for KYC. They might not be require it in the beginning but will surprise you upon withdrawal so it will be better to search everything well so you will have an idea right from the beginning. Yes, there are still trusted casinos that will not ask for KYC but gamblers from the Netherlands should know if they could access the site in their country. There are lots of restrictions in the said country but gamblers shouldn't fake their KYC because it could only cause trouble in the future.
^ I think that is right because players should be aware of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process that many online casinos now require. While some casinos may not require KYC at the outset, they may ask for it when a player tries to withdraw their winnings. It is always a good idea to do your research before signing up for any online casino and to check their policies on KYC and other important issues. Even though there are trusted online casinos that do not ask for KYC, players in certain countries may not be able to access these sites due to regional restrictions. So it is important for players from the Netherlands or any other country to check whether a casino is available to them before signing up.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 03, 2023, 11:00:08 PM
A major key for a trader is your enemy is always his emotions.

I think emotion isn't the only major key to successful trading.  It does play a huge part but discipline is also as essential as emotion.  To control ourselves from being greedy, emotional, and panicky is one of the best things that we can do while we are trading.  Also, knowledge, research, and being updated play an important part as well.  Not because we can control our emotions means we can be successful traders.

To be successful in trading need not only to conquer emotion but also needs discipline, right information, and being updated to be able to come to the right decision.
^ Emotions are definitely an important factor when it comes to trading, but it is not the only thing that determines success. Being disciplined, informed, and up-to-date on market trends and news is equally important. Without discipline, traders can easily succumb to greed or panic, which can lead to making poor decisions. Having the right knowledge and doing proper research can help traders make informed decisions and minimize risks. So, I believe that to be a successful trader, one needs to have a combination of emotional control, discipline, knowledge, and continuous learning.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: March 03, 2023, 10:51:56 PM
I do not think that Caleb Plant has any real chance against David Benavidez. For Benavidez this entire fight is just basically a PR/marketing stunt to do right by his fans and his image as well as his overall boxing career. If it was not for his cocaine embarrassment, this fight would probably never even take place.

He did not take any drugs which would enhance his fighting skills/abilities or training regiments, its just him being punished for being found out. This changes nothing  in his fighting ability, though. Which is why its going to be an easy win.

I see no reason to punish him for his drug habit other than deceiving his fans who bet money on him to be physically and mentally healthy in his fights. His habit might get him in prison or he might have a heart attack. I guess this makes us feel a bit uneasy to bet on him.

A drug test is part of any sports regulation so David being caught positive deserved punishment. And who knows, his family or any member of his family is also part of the syndicate. Do you remember when his older brother Jose another big potential in boxing was shot and hit in the leg? That injury affected Jose's footwork and was stopped by Crawford.

Anyways, I also think David will be like a bull in the ring, too strong and too heavy-handed against Caleb. Caleb needs to hit David with a damaging shot to get his respect, otherwise, David will just continue to become aggressive and might even open himself to lure Caleb's defense. I see a David stoppage in the 2nd half of the fight but I am hoping for the underdog Caleb to pull an upset.

David Benavidez getting his punishment in the past was already enough for him because every move has always a consequence entailed, but speculating or accusing that maybe one or two of his family are also using it? That's quite a bit too much mate, and if ever you are right, we don't have any right to prosecute them because that's their personal life.

I bet you wouldn't want the same thing too and hear that somebody is accusing you or a member of your family, right? So, let's just focus on the topic and let their personal lives out of this.
^Definitely right and I completely agree with your point that speculating or accusing David Benavidez's family members of drug use is not fair and is crossing a line. It is important to separate personal lives from professional careers and judge each fighter based on their performance in the ring. The use of illegal substances is against the rules, and David Benavidez has already faced the consequences of his actions. As you rightly pointed out, we should not be quick to judge or accuse someone or their family members without any evidence. Therefore, let us focus on the topic at hand and leave their personal lives out of this. It is a show of respect to them and I get it right.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all these crypto-twitter "influencers" are still exist? on: March 03, 2023, 10:39:05 PM
Those fake influencers are doing everything just to fool their followers especially when they are talking about easy money and how they can win on a specific site for just a simple task. Well, that’s a click bait and we all know how greedy people are and they are more eager to make money, that’s why they become a victim easily.

Just follow someone who you think are true and shares a lot of good knowledge and not just those who spread hype. People have to learn the process and don’t think about making easy money at all.
^ When I heard they are paid for shills in a scam project, I usually unfollow them.
But on the other side, they are helpful, the problem with people is easy to believe what they hear and see on social media without making further research. Because it is worth noting that not all crypto-twitter influencers are equally reputable or trustworthy, and investors should always do their own research before making any investment decisions.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: March 03, 2023, 10:23:33 PM
Lomachenko has predicted that Tank Davis will win against Garcia.

2023 Vasiliy Lomachenko favors Gervonta Davis over Ryan Garcia, talks Fury vs Usyk

Quote
On a Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia matchup
“I said before it’s very interesting fight. It depends how they prepare for this fight. If they prepare 100%, both, it will be very interesting and very hard for both, tough for both. Because they understand boxing and I think, my opinion, Gervonta Davis will win.

“He’s very technical, he has the power, he has the speed, and he knows how he needs to move. And he always fight with guys who are (taller) than him.”

I've also read some posts suggesting that Ryan Garcia doesn't like Lomachenko's prediction and would like to fight Lomachenko after he knocks out Tank Davis. What do you think - is Garcia being too disrespectful by making Lomachenko's prediction too personal?
Lomachenko could probably beat Ryan Garcia but that fight will not happen for another 2 years and Lomachenko will be further from his prime and I would give Ryan Garcia the edge because he will develop experience and only get better. Lomachenko can only get worse. Loma wins against Devin Haney and probably pushes to get this Ryan Garcia fight because it will be another big pay check before he retires but I do not think he is taking his career too seriously. He is just fighting so he can earn as much money before he retires. I do not know if he will win against Devin Haney but if he does I think that is the path he will take and will retire shortly after the Ryan Garcia fight.

Ryan Garcia might not be interested in Loma if he loses against Haney. Ryan Garcia always looks for big fights that will give him more attraction and money, and I'm sure he is confident enough that he will beat Tank Davis. But let's see if that will happen.

Right now, all he can do is use his loud mouth to attract the attention of fans. But once he suffers a defeat, that kind of marketing strategy will no longer be useful for him.
^It is understandable to us that Ryan Garcia is looking for big fights that will give him more attraction and money, as most professional boxers do. But boxing is a sport, and a true champion should be willing to fight the best opponents regardless of the financial reward or public attention. As for the potential Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenko fight, it is certainly an exciting matchup that would bring together two highly skilled boxers. While Ryan Garcia may not be interested in facing Lomachenko if he loses to Haney, it is important to note that Lomachenko is still considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, and any victory over him would be a significant accomplishment for any fighter and probably I even wrong with my perspective.

~snip~
That specific fight made Thurman waste a couple of years and if only he didn't get inactive, he could've been a champion and redeem his loss towards another boxer. But it is what it is, now he is up against a man whom he did rejected few years back.
^ Had he been more active and not suffered that setback, he may have been able to become a champion and redeem himself against other opponents. As for Thurman rejecting a fight against a certain boxer in the past, that is also a common occurrence in the sport of boxing. Boxers and their teams have to carefully consider their options and choose the fights that make the most sense for them at any given time. It is possible that Thurman made a decision that he felt was best for his career at the time, and there is no way to know if that decision was right or wrong in retrospect. The sport of boxing is full of unpredictable twists and turns, and fighters must be able to adapt and overcome challenges in order to achieve success. We will have to wait and see how Thurman fares in his upcoming fights and whether he can make a comeback to the top of the sport. I am with Thurman anyway.
