1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 24, 2022, 09:24:39 PM
~snip~
I'd like to know your thoughts -  Do you think that employers should screen potential employees for problem gambling before employment?
^ If related to finance or in accounting, it should be trusted and there is no negative background but I think this will earn a reputation by the time it is not quickly hired. When we talk about money even though not a gambling addict possible theft because people do crimes for money when they need it most so potentially even not a gambling addict can steal money from their company, we have a greedy attitude when it comes to money.
So screening would be good also to know your employee before you hired them.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why there is so much resistance at $23k price on: August 20, 2022, 09:57:20 PM
I see the current dip as a temporary setback for Bitcoin price and if fed members are blamed for the present price conditions that are dragging the price down to 20k then a lot should be expected in the coming days and weeks ahead. Because the economic harhsness will last for a while and assets like Bitcoin will be the worst heated in this period.
Sometimes people see dip market of cryptocurrencies as something that brings setback in cryptocurrency but from me, i see such that thing like correction of the market price, because after Bitcoin or cryptocurrency undergoes the change in the market another thing that occurs in cryptocurrency is that, the bullish market. So what ever that happens during the time of bullish market is the correction
^ I don't think why people worry when there is a short correction happen, other people will probably be happy because they know that there is a chance for them to invest while the market has a correction. When BTC is pumped, it is expected that BTC will have a correction after a week or months.
If you notice, the BTC price was now in a zigzag position upon movement, who knows after this correction, it will pump again and it could be broken into another ATH. Purchase BTC in the DCA way was common advice by the experts and the safest method for reinvesting in a long term.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are soccer tokens pumping on: August 20, 2022, 09:47:40 PM
Hype and Shill due to the World Cup series on football.
~snip~
^ It could be this is the main reason why these coins pumped too much and another factor could be, that it is just easy for this coin to manipulate the price because of the low volume. I am not a fan of this token investment because usually if they are not worth it to invest in the long term. It seems you gamble your money, it is very risky because the price of tokens usually suddenly pumps and when it has a correction, it will never come back, and that ios a start they will become a scam.
1024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: August 20, 2022, 09:37:41 PM
Trading and gambling aren't same thing. It would be wrong if one equates trading with gambling. Yes market has volatilities but it shouldn't be the reason for calling trade as gambling. Yes, but you can compare futures trading to gambling because trading depends on future prices.  But all other general trading cannot be called gambling.
^ Probably this is a case-to-case basis, if you have not enough knowledge in trading but yet you are doing it for the sake of profit, probably we can be called it gambling. Because it will probably you are guessing the result of the coin that you picked.
But actually, that is definitely right, they have a different concept that we cannot be called trading as gambling, as I trying to say is it depend on who gamble or trade. It seems to gamble for me if you will pick a meme coin or shitcoins.
1025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin becomes generally adopted, will 21million btc be enough for everyone? on: August 20, 2022, 09:31:15 PM
~snip~
If you ask me this question, my answer would be little diplomatic and that is that bitcoin is not enough for everyone and this is one of the reasons why bitcoin is so successful. As the use of Bitcoin continues to increase day by day, it will continue to become valuable, as gold already is.  "Not enough for everyone "Maybe because of this Bitcoin will one day reach a value what  we can't even imagine right now
^Why not?
It was already said above that we can even own satoshi and that will become valuable soon and it could be the transaction through the lightning network since the value of miner fee will become expensive too. As of now, we have 19,127,162 BTC circulating supply and I think that amount will be more and we divided it into a fraction number. So it is not 21 million BTC.
You have it if you can afford to buy it, that is the right answer, not the amount of BTC that is to be accumulated.
1026  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 20, 2022, 09:09:57 PM
Nowadays no one reads the rules and the general terms and conditions extensively. The only thing that still seems to be read is which countries are excluded from participating in playing on the site. I think every user should be aware that in principle all casinos are allowed and able to perform a KCY regardless of the time. I also don't think it is mandatory for a casino to do a KYC before a player deposits money. A casino may also decide to do the KYC later, even after several weeks. Depends probably on gambling behavior and payouts requested.
^ We should read the ToS because there are some casinos that they use their ToS as a trap to the users and they are happy with that, imagine they can seize your money anytime. They will not process your withdrawal since you are not a fully verified user or with this ToS, they will selectively scam people knowing the case is just because the player did know about the violation process.
This is not new, every platform now that is related to finance was have that KYC process and probably to push this money laundering law. So get ready with the KYC.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Influence of "Paid" Streamers on Online gambling..... on: August 20, 2022, 08:59:46 PM
~snip~
People are also saying that "Paid" streamers are basically "sweeping" all money that are being played by others on those specific slots. (You often hear people saying... "I cannot play XXX Slot now, because streamer YYY won big on that Slot) - If I am correct... all funds that are played in a casino goes into one "Pot" .....and wins are paid out of that... or in the case of a Jackpot system.. into a "Pot" at the 3rd party service provider. (Is this true or false...any experts out there that can clear this up?)

Just to make something clear .... not all Streamers of gambling content are "Paid" streamers or affiliates of casinos.... some use their own money. (Example : Syztmz)
^Goes to into one pot that we called a house edge or a banker.
But it does have an effect if the paid streamers will win at that time, while other gamblers will lose. Each of them has its own RTP that we can verify on our own. Paid streamers are also similar to the regular gambler but the difference is they seem a higher wager because they have a lot of funds that come from sponsors' money. However you are right, they also use their own money for the sake of the content of the video but all of these are limited when it comes to spending funds.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your gambling profit percentage limit? on: August 20, 2022, 08:17:49 PM
~snip~
Are you using using same method on limiting your gambling crave? What’s your percentage goal?
^ I don't have a limit on taking profit because I gamble only the amount that I can afford to lose if that will all lose I will stop but if I can able to manage to make more profit I will never stop. The thing that I limit myself is chasing profit, when I lose, I will stop gambling there is no need to chase your losses and that is why I did not limit myself, as long as I can be to play to gamble I will stay in gambling but of course, it is impossible for me to stay in gambling more than 6 hours straight, we have prior activities than gambling. It is better not to put a limit on yourself.
1029  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitdice delaying everything they can to kyc and withdraw on: August 20, 2022, 08:03:43 PM
UPDATE they seem to be processing them i got 7/15 sofar just sucks that i have the idea that bc the price of ltc was high on time of withdrawl they delayed it till it went down to gimme 140$ less
^ That is good enough, at least there is an update in your case.
I think that casino is out of fund here and something we need to understand this thing, they are quite new in this business and I think they need more adjustment. I have heard the cases as you OP and I hope you will get your fund. I don't think they will ruin their reputation on that amount, they also paid hundreds of bucks for their signature campaign which I think there is no reason to ruin.
1030  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Do You Think About UFO Catcher? on: August 19, 2022, 11:53:20 PM
this claw machine is everywhere, i guess, at one point in our childhood lives, we played this machine. i am not equating this to gambling or of that sort, just treat it as a mere childhood game, nothing more than that. most of the time, you will just waste money from this, but for kids, just one of the games they want to try with. i don't think we need to overthink about this game. just enjoy the ride.
Well, children doesn't know that it is gambling but it is still a gambling no matter if you know it or not but it doesn't matter since claw machines are business and the owner need to earn profit that is why most of the claw machines are rigged. I also agree that thinking of it as a mere childhood game and it is much better not to overthink about it.
^ I don't think it should be rigged, that game brings more fun to most children. That is why there is a parents who will guide their children.
Sometimes it makes a thrill when there is a game that has a high prize, it is also more fun to play with it and I think machine claws are not deserved to call it a gambling and be rigged. People just overthink it, just put a limit and everything will be fine.
My second thought is, that you are not wagering actual money which is money to money, so impossible it will become a gambling for me.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Meme coins going to make it to the next bull market? on: August 19, 2022, 11:46:13 PM
I am certain that Dogecoin and Shiba inu will make it to the next bull market and they will bring lucrative returns to their believers but I can't vouch for others like Dogelon Mars or baby doge, anything different from Doge and Shib is higher risk.
^ Though all of these meme coins give a high return in the previous, it does not means they should be trusted. Anytime they will become a shit coin and that was the most I was afraid of. Possible they are a higher-risk coin, if you own one of them you must very closely monitor the market situation and the community who supported that meme coin. Because anytime their price will be collapsed once there is someone who will manipulate the price. If BTC will have a next bull run then obviously those altcoins will do the same.
1032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: August 19, 2022, 10:54:44 PM
What are your current opinions on the cryptocurrency market?
^ Probably BTC price will resist at this month of August until in the first week of the 4th quarter of this year. But it will dump again at the end of the year. This is not new to the BTC price, once there were resistance will happen, it is expected that there will a small correction will happen. It seems like at this moment while writing this, the market shows red colors of all market prices and possible it will resist next week right after this correction, it is very volatile to guess the price movement of BTC, I had rather wait for it in a long run than thinking it every day.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you own 1 Bitcoin? (2022 edition) on: August 19, 2022, 10:49:51 PM
I do own more than one bitcoin, a large % of early adopters here own more than one bitcoin. It doesn’t take a big imagination to realise some people have a hell of a lot of bitcoin here. It’s just not a good idea to go around broadcasting it.

For the newbies, one bitcoin is still very achievable. Work hard & DCA, you can do it.
^ If you really want to collect 1 BTC that is not possible if you are in the middle class which financial is not your problem.
Yes I have 1 BTC and more than that but IF all coins that I collected were not been sold, I looked at my BTC wallet and check all my transactions there, it seems I have more than 1 BTC before but sad to say, all of them was sold earlier.
For now, it is hard to collect 1 BTC, it becomes more expensive than before.
1034  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 19, 2022, 10:40:57 PM
KYC can be asked for all sorts of reasons, we don't need to violate ToS to be asked for verification! Simple moving funds too fast you touch the AML policy and you can be asked for KYC! Anyway, it's not a big deal if someone is honest!
It's possible that he has made a mistake/violated part of the TOS so some accounts have to verify KYC early due to his alleged abuse or suspected account, but whatever the speculation of the main cause we should review the TOS again because he should have completed the KYC before making any withdrawals.
Obviously OP is just trolling here and don’t really have no problem with the site because he can’t give any proof for this and he has been accusing many sites already. KYC can always be ask and it’s stated very clear in all casinos because the casinos also want to protect their own interest and if they let those gamblers to withdraw big money easily then casinos might face bigger problem later on. KYC is still an issue here but eventually gamblers will get used to that especially if there’s a big money involve.

Actually KYC is not really an issue since by now this is normal thing to happen especially when a user try to withdraw a huge amount then a KYC procedure may ask for verification process or even if you have violation then casino ask this for also sort of verification so theres no really a big deal on this issue maybe op is just exaggerated about this that's why he post this out of his confusion towards the happening on his account.
^That is why as a gambler, don't forget to read the ToS very carefully and understand their terms.
It was stated there, (We may ask for additional Information according to our AML/KYC Policy for KYC purposes or for legal purposes (Money laundering prevention)., https://duelbits.com/tos .
Sometimes people rush to gamble without knowing the terms, and once they violated the terms they act like a victim and call the casino it scam while it is clear that it is their fault.

1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of psychological tricks that casinos use. on: August 19, 2022, 10:29:05 PM
Another thing is making the ambiance of the Casino for social gathering.  If one person among a group of friend is a casino regular,  he will suggest that the venue will be on a casino whenever he meet up with his friend.  With that, the group of friend of this casino regular will be curious and eventually try the games in the Casino.  That way casino can have more player.
^ Probably this matter of what the experience that they have, if they satisfied on the first day that they went probably that group of people will come back and play again. It includes a cool place, a nice view and of course, many staff women around that could probably gamblers will lure to come. Satisfaction as a customer will most likely people like, they could stay longer in that way especially if a casino threat newcomers like a VIP. However, there are too many ways to lure gamblers to offline casinos, it depends on the marketing team if it will be able to manage the fund that could spend all of these.
1036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am losing money because take profit orders are not working. on: August 18, 2022, 11:59:03 PM
Hello I was scalping and I had a take profit order in my exchange to sell bitcoin when it reached 24448. And today at 14.13 tradingview was telling me that bitcoin was 24450..but the take profit operation was not performed in my platform..what could be the reason?
That's why you need to cross check before you could perform any transaction, because i noticed that the place the transaction took place is not a reliable exchanges. It should be all this scam exchange platform, because before you performed a transaction you will see the rate of the transaction before you could click continue. I will say the fault is from you because you did not notice the rate of the transaction before you start anything.
That also matters on the exchanges which they are late for the updates. Traders need to be timely updated and get aware of the situation but some trading platforms couldn't perform well which is too late to appear on the trading view. This scenario wasn't new and not really it is our fault but yeah, checking it twice or more could help, maybe it needs some refresh on the site OP for the update. I usually do this but if you are too excited and in a hurry, most of the time we forget to do this.
^ The first step in trading is to choose a suitable exchange that has this feature, a timely update not only the high volume that can get profit.
But if you are aware that it has delayed the update, then probably you can adjust the transaction that you have placed.
However, all their advice was right and I think OP should give us an update here since OP did not come back after posted this thread, possible we can give him another advice.
1037  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: August 18, 2022, 11:53:42 PM
Poker players love online tournaments because there are chances to earn big amounts with relative low investment.  Wink The spectators love to see these players battling it out, because the game is more based on skill.. and not so much on luck.

Also, Online poker tournament allows its players to compete for huge money from the comfort of their homes and the spectators are also watching them via live streaming from their homes.  Cheesy

Watching someone battling it out against a Slot machine can become boring very quickly....  Roll Eyes
This is what makes poker so exciting to watch, watching someone playing against a machine or a computer is nowhere near as exciting as watching that person playing against another one, I do not know exactly why this is the case but it makes it way more interesting and it gives poker an edge over other gambling games, maybe slots are way more popular than poker but poker is way more interesting to watch as the plays some of the world experts can make are incredibly impressive when we take into account the money they are betting and the level of their opponents.
^ It is definitely right, playing against person to person are very interesting to watch and that is why there is a live tournament of this game because this is not only focused on luck but also you can increase your chances of winning by the ability of your skills. It seems boring to watch if you are against the house edge though there are some people doing it and having a live video still tournament makes us excited.
Base skills games usually have tournaments not unlike those based on luck games.
1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: August 18, 2022, 11:46:59 PM
This has nothing to do with the 1xbit gambling site. As I have written before (and other people for that matter) there is a group of scammers who find it necessary to cheat for information using. They bet on table tennis matches in which there is an occasional 2 point delay in the 1xbit platform. 1xbit tries its best to offer as many matches as possible, and then there is a group of scammers who are taking advantage of that. The saddest part of all is that this scam group then goes on to complain on the forum that they have been scammed and not paid. What do you think when you cheat? Then you have to bear the consequences and not act pathetic.
^What kind of cheat? Is that not easy to fix?
It could be there's no one who falls into the trap if there is no trap.
However, this is very far from the question of the OP, it is good if you will answer it directly. You yourself also gamble using the site that you are promoting even though you know that someday you will become next to their victim?
1039  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Do You Think About UFO Catcher? on: August 18, 2022, 10:59:07 PM
But are these types of games really gambling, or actually skill-based?
~snip~
^Everything that has a prize pool could be gambling, it belongs to gambling but not literally gambling.
It is fun for the children but if those children frequently buy coins and chase for the doll that they will get, it turns out into an addictive game.
That could be triggered their ability to gamble, at an early stage we should teach them to put a limit on themselves and not to continue if they don't have enough funds. Because they are children, the prize is also good for them and it is very tempted to chase the prize.
1040  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: August 17, 2022, 11:56:05 PM
It is common sense to implement lighting in any payment platform not just on casinos. Even if only a reduced amount of user is taking advantage of it, it is already an attractive feature that can be great to bring new users. Lighting is perfect for people who play at large or want to even have some automated betting around as the channel will make much easier and cheaper to play.
^ It is Lightning Network.
But why we are rarely seeing such casinos using a lightning network, probably I have doubts about myself this is hard to implement or it become more complicated. However, on my side, I really like this system because everything becomes cheaper from all transactions from deposits until you decided to withdraw your asset. It is good if someone will create a thread that has a list of gambling casinos that accept lightning networks.
