1141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Drake vs Stake part 2 on: July 12, 2022, 10:15:21 PM
Business is business and nothing personal even to those streamers/advertisers do really know that it does have that non-ethical part but they do have in mind that they'll gain or earn that much so it wont really be
~snip~
^ It is Drake's job to promote Stake nothing else.
That is definitely right, that is a business, and being a streamer that has a ton of followers should do something more fun and entertain as long as he has content to show for the sake of his followers. I don't even think Drake will gamble on Stake using his own money.
Nothing new here I think it is pure business, though the content of the video clip is good and well-entertained, that is only the purpose.
1142  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 12, 2022, 09:59:35 PM
Gambling precedes civilization and i kinda believe it's something the people of old used in whiling away time at leisures not until the Romans engaged the gladiator gambling pattern where lives were part of stakes in arena's.
^ That was a bloody sport that Romans found, inside the arena the strongest will survive bit now, it is purely sports but they are the same in the arena. Did you know that NBA sports have 29 arenas? The history of sports gambling has been civilized into a modern one though they have the same sports it has a different approach it is more friendly sports than what we are now compared to Roman's time.
Great history of gambling, can you point out who is the first big winner in an online gambling casinos.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hodlers are actively buying bitcoin these days on: July 09, 2022, 09:58:41 PM
~
as we can see here the number of addresses that are holding more than 1 bitcoin is significantly increasing which shows how people who were struggling to reach 1BTC target are succeeding these days and are even surpassing that target heading to the next one.
For any investor looking to invest for the long term, this is the right opportunity to invest and wait for the long term. Yes there are doubts looming in the market surrounding the proposed taxations and new laws in the crypto space and expected regulations and the overall economic situation is not that great but still any bear market is the best time to invest.
^ That is definitely right and it was proven and tested by the country of El Salvador, they invested during the dip even though they know how investing in BTC is risky. BTC investment has always guaranteed to make a profit and as BTC enthusiasts, they know that this will happen at the right time, and now is the right time to invest while the market was in a correction. But I hate people who keep talking about BTC when the price is up but when it is on the dip they keep rejecting it, they always have doubt on it.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: “When” Will Bitcoin Price Break $69k All Time High? on: July 09, 2022, 09:52:01 PM
All predictions are focused on the bitcoin halving event as history has shown it always happens, but a prediction is just a prediction until it happens. History also may not repeat like how bitcoin fell below the most recent ATH, it has never happened before.
It is possible that a new ATH will come after the halving or even sooner because the market is no longer what it once was, the market moves in a better direction. When at this moment we have big investors like countries, companies and corporations.
it's not that bitcoin is prediction doesn't manifest neither come to existence. The problem is that sometimes prediction doesn't come to reality but at times it give rooms to understand what is obtainable at give point in time. That's another cogent reason while some people doesn't disregard any information of cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin, knowing that sometimes the prediction of bitcoin motivate people.
^ Not just because motivating holders, not just because unpredictable but just because it is anticipated moments that usually come and it is proven and tested for how many times. When the next halving comes, a year after it is expected that the BTC price will create another ATH to the next level. There will be always an ATH when halving is occur so people always expect this will repeat itself.
The reason why people are motivated to hold their BTC in a long term and wait for a better reward.
1145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: July 09, 2022, 09:31:37 PM
Diversification would always be best when we do talk about investment because we could really be having the chance of patching up loses from one investment into another which does simply means that

we should not put all of our eggs in one basket as much as we could so that we wont really be that too stressful nor get too much scared off whenever the market do make out some significant movement
or when it do dumps or crashes. If you do like to have at least that playing safe kind of style then it wouldnt really be bad for you to consider out on holding for long term.
This might not be preferred for some who do have  shorter patience because this would really be a test out of faith on a particular project for long term perspective.

Yes, I highly agree with this. Diverse your asset, do not put all eggs in one basket. This is what I did when I start investing and now I am still doing this. It you gave some time left do this strategy instead, but if you want a day trade maybe don't do this because it will require too much time and effort to monitor all the tokens you will invest with, given the fact that  you need to carefully read the data in different time frames. Day trading is good, for long term trading make some diversification.
^ If you really want to play safely in long-term trading why not choose a coin that considering safe in investment.
BTC has that feature and jit is proven and tested that it will create a massive profit when the right time comes if you want to hold it for the long term and avoid possible risks. Token now and altcoins trading in a short term is very risky, I can consider them that you are gambling your money because you even don't know the possible consequences that comes, there is no guarantee that you can make a profit.

1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin Fall?? on: July 09, 2022, 09:26:38 PM
i mean what if bitcoin isn't exist , what if bitcoin wasn't created.

I believe that there will be another cryptocurrency that will exist.  I believe in the saying, that what is bound to happen will happen.  If you look at the history of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin isn't the first one to be created but Bitcoin became popular because of the idea of a decentralized blockchain.  Bitcoin is powered by blockchain so basically, if Bitcoin does not exist, others will take the Bitcoin slot because of the existence of blockchain.

But if blockchain does not exist I believe Bitcoin as decentralized blockchain won't also exist.
^ I believe cryptocurrencies do not exist.
BTC was given a true meaning of decentralized and altcoins were alternating it to find a different way than BTC does not have.
You cannot even change the code of BTC, so therefore blockchain also does not exist in its world and there are no cryptocurrencies. We are still relying on the government and we are not free when it comes to financial system which only BTC can give.
1147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slotella.com ᐅ NO-KYC Requirement 🎁 €5.00 Welcome Bonus for BitcoinTalk on: July 09, 2022, 09:04:39 PM
Thank you everbody -- We've updated the minimum forum rank requirement to "Member".
I think it is good to have minimum of being active Member rank in forum, but you still need to watch out for cheaters abuse.
Yesterday I registered on Slotella website for testing purposes and I already received $5 bitcointalk welcome bonus on my account.
That wagering requirements could be better, and I don't it's good to have to deposit $100 before you can withdraw anything.
^ I will probably test this gambling casino later part to test using the free login bonus.
I definitely agree that the wagering requirement should be a must and there is no transfer of the fund from one to another account, there should be a limit to transferring funds into another account. This could be how to protect the user's fund and the gambler and gambling casino as well.
No KYC gambling casino will probably be prone to scamming and abusing players, you should take address it.
However, good to see OP was actively answered all those concerns.
1148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: July 09, 2022, 08:56:44 PM
~snip~
and lastly I’m sure that once their representatives see this comment they’ll step in to explain their side of the story.
Unfortunately the rep account is not active in the forum anymore, but the good news is they haven't had any major issues so far.
^ I don't think so, I have a little bit of research on the scam accusation board and it seems there are too many threads that appear regarding cloudbet reputation. Usually and the common problem is that they don't read first the ToS of the casino and they commit a violation and then now, blame the casino because they are a scam. I don't know Cloudbet because I never played their gambling casino but I think the problem is that the Tos should be read.
Probably OP needs to extend here/his patient right now.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 09, 2022, 08:49:08 PM
KYC is being weaponized by the casinos. When they think the player won “too much” money, they ask for KYC and then even you give them your data, they tell you that can’t tell you about the process because it is against the law blablabla and your money will be seized by the casino just like that. The exchanges do it too. That’s why people hate KYC wholeheartedly. Most of the time KYC is a tool for shielding the scammers.
^ I definitely agree with this.
It seems a loophole to them once there is a big amount, it is easy for them to find a solution just your money cannot get out to their wallet.
We have witnessed a lot of the same issues like this and that is why those people who are aware of that case will start to hate the KYC process.
But even though how we hate them, the fact that KYC is very common now, and most exchange or gambling casinos are required to have KYC because also it required as they follow governments protocol.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To build your Professionalism on casino on: July 09, 2022, 08:39:19 PM
~snip~
I rarely even hear words from my friends that they gamble just arbitrarily to seek entertainment, but they often assume that when they gamble it is likened to them working to make money.
^ I had rather do the same, I gamble to seek money but at the same time, I found something that I have fully entertained.
All mentioned in OP were right but the number one that I always remember is to visit first the ToS before diving into a gambling casino, most especially if the gambling casino site is pretty new that could probably from time to time the term will change. Everything is under your control, you should moderately gamble to avoid such addiction that could probably ruin your life if you cannot control it.
1151  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportbet.io lock my account. I cant play game or withdrawal on: July 09, 2022, 08:27:21 PM
I am waiting for their reply and will update soon
^ What is their update now?
Have you contacted them already, I saw there is no single response from them even on their ANN thread.
Though the comment above was right, it was now a weekend and it could be the owner of that casino is now busy so much but for me, that is not how supposedly an excuse for this problem. However, let us wait and hear their opinion. There are a lot of people here who trusted already sportbet.io and it seems they can be proved it.
1152  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportbet.io lock my account. I cant play game or withdrawal on: July 08, 2022, 11:58:46 PM
^ Have you tried to contact them? or their ANN thread?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.0
I noticed this recently this sports casino has many minor complaints, what happen to them?
You can also the ToS as well, which probably violate the terms.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: July 08, 2022, 11:10:23 PM
I think all businesses have their types of disadvantages. One tiny minor mistake can't make someone (or some company) fraud. Especially if you can clear it with legit / legal disputes. As many mentioned here, honest businesses (and casinos as well) have customer friendly manners. It means, they mainly try to compensate people with bad experiences. Anyways, bad PR is something everyone dislikes. Reputation is important.
^ Definitely right, reputation in general, is very important.
Because once a casino becomes reputable, it will do anything to solve the issue and becomes friendly manner to their customer and if that is a valid complaint probably they will fix the issue quickly. Because building a reputation is not just easy for them, it takes time before you will become an established online gambling casino. So if there is a legitimate issue, they will fix it quickly but if they also have evidence of abusing or violating the ToS of course they have a right to suspend users.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 08, 2022, 10:59:32 PM
Slots are the worst idea to spend so much money on, much less manage to take on debt. I don't understand how some people manage to go to such extremes and ruin their lives and those of their families. I'd rather drink the money away with attractive women in a restaurant and have a good time.

if you got addicted to that kind of activity, you will negatively influence way more people than being a gambling addict.  First, if you got drunk, you can cause trouble in your surroundings.  Second, if you laid too many women, there will be a huge possibility that you will have lots of illegitimate kids.  Worst, you may tend to rob someone else because of your addiction to such activity.  That kind of addiction is worst than being a gambling addict.  At least a gambling addict, his mind isn't intoxicated by foreign chemicals.
^ But I rather choose none of the above, addiction in gambling or addiction in intoxicated foreign chemicals.
In the first place, we should control ourselves in everything because excessive use is detrimental to our health or it will become worst that make our lives ruined. Slot activity is good and possibly profitable for me, probably I can able to control myself from addiction and that is why I am still playing on that kind of games.
1155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we reached a bottom price for BTC? on: July 07, 2022, 11:59:36 PM
I think it's really not that important whether it's the bottom or not, the current price level is a pretty good price for entry, because during the next bull run the price would definitely be higher than $30-40k, so if you buy now, you might easily double your money in 2-3 years. There's no need to wait for $10k, regardless if it will happen or not, because by being greedy you can deny yourself a chance of making a good trade. You don't have to buy at the absolute bottom, just buy low and sell high.
^ You are definitely right, it is a buying point, if we noticed, BTC has dropped more than 50% from the previous ATH and for sure there will be a new ATH in the future which is if you will patiently wait it will surely give you a reward at the end of the day. You cannot determine the bottom because the price is unpredictable. Just start to invest and wait for the bull run will come. As we expected, that after the halving BTC price massively increase and it will create a new ATH, so it is wise to invest while the price has a correction in the market.
1156  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 07, 2022, 11:56:24 PM
I wonder when was the origin of sports betting.  I read it is pretty common during Ancient Rome like horse racing and gladiator fights.
~snip~
^ I think before that is not gambling for them during ancient days, it is a competition or it could be entertainment during when there is a special days and time to time, they found out how to bet. I read this before somewhere else but don't know how to remember it. Gambling before probably the very first common is competition because people not only gamble but also it will be entertained.
However, I have learned a lot with the thread of OP, I don't know that during BC there is a dice game and they already knew it but on my mind, the origin of gambling should be on China.
1157  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake making new accounts is too easy on: July 07, 2022, 10:48:07 PM
You will be caught by the Stake team sooner or later due to using an alt account which is not allowed according to T&C. Using alt account is easy with entering fake information to deposit but you will get in trouble in case if they ask for verification to withdraw winnings. They let you play with KYC 1 level that you filled form on signup but your IP will be blocked sooner or later. Even if using public IP addresses of VPN can't be a permanent solution.
^ Funny fact when they get caught by the Stake team they will be called a scam, not paying users and possibly locking account and cannot withdraw fund.
It is very risky because probably the Stake.com can verify the user's device use and 1 device has the same device number or name that could keep appearing in their system as a newly come. Though you can trick them using different Ip addresses the device that you have used you cannot fool them and now it will probably they are aware of it. Good luck to you, you should have control yourself not to do this frequently if you are truly a gambler.
1158  Economy / Gambling / Re: Macaw.casino ⚡ Powered by the lightning network ⚡ Instant withdrawals ⚡ No KYC on: July 07, 2022, 10:39:19 PM
Everything looks good in your casino, actual instant withdrawals, microtransactions, anonymity no KYC, and a bonus for the first 200 members to try out your casino, these are what players are looking for in a casino you also have a good start by wearing a copper account and having a good design in your announcement thread, and very communicative to the community, things are looking good so far I hope you can keep up.
^ Definitely right and now I start thinking, do they already exist here in the forum?
I visited the site and it seems to look good, the color green theme may attract the users to lure this newly launched gambling casino. The feature they had is what the gamblers looking for, fast and instant withdrawal, and the privacy of the players. By the way, I have started looking for the FaQ for the short review but I did not find it, that is why I read the ToS very carefully/.
1159  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: July 05, 2022, 10:28:21 PM
Discord did better than telegram on this matter, preventing the new members from joining the Discord group just to scam other old members. There are a lot of functions for auto bot to pull score results or even live stream a match between members. You guys should explore Discord for that live betting group than stay on the Telegram platform which is prone to scammers too easily.
^ I agree with this because I have both social media accounts and I prefer to use Discord over Telegram.
I don't like telegram personally, there are a lot of scams that happen on telegram which is not good for betting groups, the reputation is not good to me that is why most gamblers are not interested in this kind of social media. Instead of using a third party, why not have an official website of a gambling casino which sounds better to me. Not this Telegram.
1160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 05, 2022, 10:20:23 PM
You will agree with me that society and the environment can have a great influence on the lifestyle of every individual, you often can find yourself doing, or being involved in that activity that almost everyone is involved with in that your locale as a result of influence. Now considering someone who is a gambling addict, is there any possibility of him/her becoming better if they are relocated to another environment or society where people around are not involved in gambling?

Can someone still develop the habit of gambling and become an addict even though no one around gambles?

^ That is possible when you cut all access to gambling then, he will probably change.
I remember once my teacher said, "tell me who your friends are and I tell you who you are" because when the same bird flocks together. Sometimes our environments will lead us into addiction and I know we don't want to be alone in life and no one will like that. I did not hear of someone's addiction alone without friends and relatives and if ever there is, probably he has a mental problem.
