301  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTCCasino.com (Suspicious payout) on: May 19, 2023, 09:30:27 PM
i recently joined this casino but i suddenly noticed that its payout seems to be near 0%

is this a loyal place to play or is it a "deposit only" casino?

i know they OPERATE WITHOUT A REGULAR LICENCE right?

What do you think

Good thing about ltccasino is that they have an announcement thread in here. Bad thing is that because it has an announcement thread of it everyone can see it's a shady operation. Stick to the ones that don't have negative trust in here and avoid the casinos that don't have an announcement thread in here and you'll be safe.
^ The reason I always advise anyone to always prefer this forum when checking a gambling casino's reputation. Because a good casino has good feedback from the community that considering a good casino. By next time, do first research before making such a deposit because it you are seems like wasting your money if the casino is unlikely to let your money withdraw from their wallet. There are too many reputable and popular gambling casinos here to choose and I think that is not hard to find one.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 19, 2023, 08:59:38 PM

^ The reason could be some gamblers may consider them a trap if they overlook or fail to fully understand those terms. Because this is very important to look at first, go to the TOS and read them all to understand everything. Because usually in TOS, wagering requirements are a common practice in the industry, serving as a means for casinos to protect their interests and ensure fair play. These requirements typically outline the number of times a bonus amount or winnings must be wagered before they can be withdrawn.
The question is,  do we really have those classes of gamblers who never read the TOS of casinos but want to claim bonuses,  this is something I find hard to believe and for some reason, I will say those sets of gamblers are deliberately doing that just to call out the casino unnecessarily.

But on a personal note,  the reason why I avoid bonuses is due to it wager requirement and the tendency to lose my winning trying to meet up with the wager requirements.

I believe there are still some gamblers who dont bother to read and understand the whole terms of bonuses before they decide to take/claim it. Most of them are newbies who have just started their gambling journey, maybe because they are attracted with a big banner like "100%-200% welcome bonus" so they think they will have more money to play (which is correct) but they have no idea that there are some rules behind the bonus. I will not deny the fact that I was in this situation when I was a newbie long time ago, when I made my first deposit ever in online casino and I claimed a 100% deposit bonus.
^ Definitely right and it is true that many gamblers, especially newbies, may overlook the importance of reading and understanding the terms and conditions of bonuses before claiming them probably due to laziness. Just because of attractive banners advertising high percentage bonuses can be tempting, as it gives the impression of having more money to play with. However, be aware that bonuses come with rules and requirements, it is not uncommon for people, including myself when I was a newbie, to find themselves in a similar situation when they first deposit and claim a bonus. Taking the time to thoroughly understand the terms can help avoid any potential surprises or disappointments later on.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO on: May 18, 2023, 10:47:47 PM
FOMO - Fear of missing out.

For me, it was actually this year. I actually looked for a $pepe coin around January, because of my love for Pepe Lore memes and couldn’t find anything. Now I missed out on a meme coin of a lifetime.
^Haha, are you sure about this?
This is not FOMO, it is probably because of the hype.
Here is what I can say, there will always be new opportunities and trends emerging, so it is worth keeping an eye out for other exciting ventures in the future. Don't let this experience discourage you, as there will likely be more chances to participate in exciting projects that you think it is with your interests. But for me, nothing good in meme projects, they are created just to hype and always manipulated.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The biggest No while trading on: May 18, 2023, 10:40:17 PM
Don't ever trade if you're doing this to pay your debt because it's not a good idea especially if you have no source of income other than this. It will just makes you lose more money in trading because you will force to trade and when you are consistent in losing it will make you revenge in trading which is very dangerous that will risk your capital so much. Just trade with small funds and don't rely your daily needs with it. You need to have outside job until you're a profitable in trading and you proved that trading can sustain your daily needs.
^Because trading to pay off debt can be a risky proposition.
It is generally not advisable to rely solely on trading, especially if you lack a stable source of income.
Such a situation could lead to further financial losses as you may feel compelled to trade even when facing consistent losses. The urge for revenge trading is particularly dangerous as it puts your capital at significant risk. Instead, consider trading with small funds and refrain from depending on them for your daily needs. It is risky part to maintain an outside job until you have achieved consistent profitability in trading and just make sure to sustain your daily expenses.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger hardware wallet offering custody for seed backups on: May 18, 2023, 10:34:52 PM

What are your thoughts?

Thoughts? Simple.

Don't update your firmware if you already own a Ledger, don't buy a Ledger if you don't own one. Buy a Trezor, preferably a Trezor One because it has lower attack vectors.

We can't trust a company which was breached in the past before. Plus how can we verify that they haven't already backdoored their devices?
^ With this announcement, that is definitely right, never use them at all.
The fact that just a year ago, the company claimed it was impossible for the seed to leave the device, but now they acknowledge its possibility, has further fueled the controversy. However, there is no funds have been stolen so far, but this incident has highlighted the potential vulnerabilities of hardware wallets, which were previously believed to be highly secure and we have a wrong thought.
From now on, I will not recommend that wallet at all.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things that still make feel awkward with some online casinos on: May 17, 2023, 10:19:22 PM
Why are some online gambling platforms having high withdrawal fee? I know Bitcoin recently has a high transaction fee but that's no more right now, some online casinos are still asking for 5$ per transaction when it should be 1$ or less.

Not just only Bitcoin withdrawal, even coins with very low transaction fee, isn't this robbery? If you just signed up on a centralized exchange, you can pretend as if you want to withdraw, to know how much the gas fee costs, but on online casino, you will see this only after you have enough wins or funds for withdrawal.

I guess it boils down to business, the high transaction fees are going to fluctuate though, as you can see in the mempool right now, ~50 sat/vB for a low priority and then ~79 sat/vB if you want your transactions to be included in the next block.

So that is expensive again, it fall to like ~15 sat/vB, but here we go again and it could increased this weekend again.

But I do agree in your sentiments, the best case scenario for us is that casino's not charging as transaction fees as it is a burden for us specially if we have lost so much money already to them.
^ Definitely right, it is business that they will also generate profit by this withdrawal fee but as I know most of them use a third party when it comes to withdrawal fee and they called it, (Payment Processor Fees). It could be to sustain their operations and invest in further platform development. Online casinos often rely on third-party payment processors to handle transactions. These processors may charge fees for their services, which can contribute to the overall withdrawal fee. So the transaction fee on the network plus their processing fee, looks like a robbery to us.

  • Casino di Venezia - Venice, Italy
Quote
Opened in 1638, it is considered the oldest casino in the world. People still gamble here today. The casino changed its management several times and it is currently owned by the Casino di Venezia Gioco S.p.A. Even though the stately gaming house is almost 400 years old, it is one of the most technically modern casinos in the world. Over 5,000 m² of floor space await players with a large selection of slot machines and table games.
^I believed this is the oldest one.
I remember this casino was filmed in the movie (Casino Royale) the 21st movie in the official James Bond film series.
I would love to visit this one of the oldest casinos which combines the excitement of gambling with the historical and cultural ambiance of Venice, making it a remarkable establishment that continues to captivate visitors from around the world. There is a question in my mind, is there a chance that they will adopt BTC as another way of payment?
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 17, 2023, 09:50:58 PM

Bonuses with wagering requirement is not a trap because all the terms for the bonuses is mentioned clearly. It is a trap for those who do not read the terms only. If gamblers read the terms before taking the bonuses, it cant be called as a trap or gamblers call it as a trap because they do not understand the terms. Anyway not all bonuses comes with wagering requirement, there are many other bonuses/rewards that can be achieved due to our gambling activity and it comes with zero wagering requirement but of course in order to get the these kind of bonus, you need to be an active gambler who wagers regularly.
I did not mention that bonuses with wagering requirements are trapped in any way but I was just trying to point out the limitation to some players using bonuses since it comes with high wager requirements,  there is no doubt that bonuses terms and conditions are always mentioned,  but then just as you rightly said it only becomes a trap for those who don't border to read bonus terms and conditions before jumping on them.

Unlike me personally,  I dislike any form of bonus since I know there are always accompanied by wager requirements that can be sometimes unbearable.
^ The reason could be some gamblers may consider them a trap if they overlook or fail to fully understand those terms. Because this is very important to look at first, go to the TOS and read them all to understand everything. Because usually in TOS, wagering requirements are a common practice in the gambling industry, serving as a means for casinos to protect their interests and ensure fair play. These requirements typically outline the number of times a bonus amount or winnings must be wagered before they can be withdrawn just because they can be abused by many gamblers.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion about sweepstakes and gambling on: May 17, 2023, 09:38:06 PM
~snip~
Maybe those in the US on this forum can answer this question diligently?

1. Is Sweepstakes illegal in the US?

2. Is Sweepstakes gambling or not?
^ I am not from the US but based on my research, it is not legal as long as it is subject to specific regulations at both the federal and state levels.
So I think it is better if you will ask the name of that sweepstakes casino so that we can find out if they are truly under the regulation by the state. My answer to the second question is yes. Sweepstakes are generally considered a form of gambling, although they are distinguished from other types of gambling, such as lotteries or casinos, by certain criteria. Sweepstakes typically involve a prize or prizes being awarded to winners selected at random. To avoid being involved in illegal gambling like this, sweepstakes must meet specific legal requirements, such as providing a free method of entry and not requiring participants to make a purchase or provide consideration in exchange for a chance to win.
310  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 17, 2023, 09:23:12 PM
Is it safe or dumb to use your Credit card for online gambling because of free bonus rewards on signup and initial 3 months purchase? Will you take such risks with your card for such rewards? A friend informed me that some casinos gives better reward if you have a credit card with high credit score at around 800, he mentioned how he make 200$ from Freedom Flex after using over 600$. He also mentioned other like capital one

What are the disadvantages of using a credit card on online casinos? Any? Would you dare do such to earn more money?

If you talk about debit card I might consider but for credit card, it's a no go way.

I wouldn't risk giving out my credit card details to a gambling site because I'm not sure if the information will be encrypted or not.
Although I haven't seen anyone complained about their credit card details being stolen after exposing it to a gambling site that do encrypt the information they receive from their customers. But I'm still not going to risk it.
^I had rather do the same.
Credit cards can make it easy to overspend, leading to financial problems if you are not careful. The convenience of using a credit card for gambling may tempt you to spend more than you can afford to lose and probably that is the reason. Another scenario could be the potential risk, while most reputable online casinos have secure payment systems, there is always a risk of fraud or data breaches. Using a credit card exposes your sensitive financial information, and if it falls into the wrong hands, it can lead to unauthorized transactions or identity theft.
Security should always be a top priority when it comes to financial transactions online. Even though many reputable online casinos employ encryption technology to protect customer information, but still there is a risk and it is still a personal decision whether or not to take the risk.
311  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 16, 2023, 10:10:33 PM
~snip~

Gambling is a choice, getting scammed is not. But that's not to say you can't protect yourself from them. Be smart, be vigilant, and if it's too good to be true, walk away and move on with your life and more important things because 9 times out of 10, it is.
^ This is so true and definitely right.
But losing a bet can indeed be disappointing, and it is natural to feel that way.
However, remember that gambling is a personal choice, and no one should compel or persuade you into it. Even though some may wish for refunds when they lose, it is always good to accept that the outcome of a bet is part of the risk involved in gambling.
If we want to avoid the disappointment of losing bets, here is probably a helpful tip.
Number 1 is to set a strict budget and stick to it. Before you start gambling, decide on the amount of money you are willing to risk and can afford to lose. This approach ensures that you won't be tempted to chase losses or overspend beyond your means. Always remember, gambling should be seen as entertainment rather than a reliable source of income, and responsible budgeting is key to maintaining a healthy relationship with it and that lady was in a wrong choice.
312  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational Parade on: May 15, 2023, 10:10:01 PM
I also think that such parades do not help to reduce gambling addiction among the population, on the contrary, it can draw attention to gambling to those who are far from it. Very often an anti-advertisement is a good advertisement for a certain circle of people. At least I am sure that such a parade will definitely attract the attention of teenagers, and they are likely to misunderstand such an initiative.
The positive impact might not be immediate but few persons might have understood and received the message of this parade. Gambling addiction has ruined the financial and social lives of some people therefore any effort to reduce this addiction is highly acceptable. Planning and engaging in a campaign against gambling addiction is capital-intensive, but this parade is cheaper to organize and it attracted many local inhabitants. Dramatizing the information will help in making the target audience understand the message faster. Another feature that mad this parade unique is that it used local content for the parade. The costume and characters are from the locals thereby making the parade more interesting and catchy.
^ As long as it warns people related to gambling addiction on slot and it could be a slot on their place has been very popular.
These education and awareness campaigns may help to reduce the number of people who develop a gambling problem, they are not enough on their own. Because this parade campaign is to raise awareness about gambling addiction that can help to promote a culture of responsible gambling and reduce the negative impacts of gambling on individuals, families, and communities. In short, it delivers a message to people that warn about gambling.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 15, 2023, 09:56:14 PM
For what I can see, the best way to limit players from gambling addiction is related deposit limits.
~snip~
^Definitely right and I agree.
It should be there is a limit max amount of deposit per day, it may help to reduce the frequency and amount of money that a person can gamble, and it may therefore reduce the risk of gambling addiction. However, gambling addiction is a serious problem that is influenced by many factors, and a deposit limit alone may not be enough to prevent or address a gambling problem. While deposit limits can be an effective harm reduction measure, they should be implemented alongside other measures such as self-exclusion programs, responsible gambling education, and counseling or therapy services for those who have developed a gambling addiction. It is useful for individuals to recognize the signs of gambling addiction and seek help if they are experiencing any negative as a result of their gambling behavior.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 13, 2023, 08:41:25 PM
Perhaps the casino means a statement made by the bank that the bank has not received any deposits or transfers from the casino so that the casino can double-check all transactions. But it's true, @OP needs to explain in more detail.

If the casino means personal data from his bank account, he should ask again if he can verify using other data such as his national ID or something else. But I am curious about the casino. Is it a fiat casino or a crypto casino? Because if it is a crypto casino, I have never come across such a case.

I also thought that its a Cryptocurrency but since OP talked about bank statements I'm sure we are talking about fiat coming from bank transfer because if it's a Cryptocurrency the transaction should be visible in the block explorer for all to see, this is the issue if OP did not publish all the complete details or information about the issue we are all left guessing and the funny thing is he is not updating this thread.
I guess he prefers to wait the 10 days period before taking action since he cannot do anything because this is what the casino asks, but its better to always use Cryptocurrency so casinos will not ask for information like this, never deposit using a bank transfer to avoid issues like this.
^This is not new when someone posts and never get back the thread that they created probably the issue has been solved on his own.
You are definitely right, why do people still want to choose their bank account linked to any gambling casino platform It is very risky being questioned. Crypto is good to use if your concern is to maintain anonymity and security, not the bank.
However, we hope OP will come back and enlighten our confusion.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your most effective crypto trading strategies? on: May 13, 2023, 08:04:19 PM
There is nothing better than holding a Crypto here in this field of business. Because even if you're just a newbie and don't know anything about it, as long as you're sure about the investment you're going to buy like bitcoin, it can be said that it's an effective way for you to have good savings in the future. That's why there are two types of traders, short and long-term traders. So being a long-term trader is one of the safest things to do as a newbie in the crypto space.
^Because newbie should monitor first the market and how it will work and that is what I did when I was a newbie in trading and I agree with you.
Long-term trading can be a safer decision for those who are new to the crypto space, as it allows you to ride out market fluctuations and benefit from the potential growth of the asset over time. Altogether with proper planning and discipline, investing in cryptocurrencies can be a great way to secure your financial future. As a beginner in trading, it is important to do your research and understand the risks that were involved in trading, not just because you heard about the profit.
316  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 What software of online casino slots do you prefer? on: May 13, 2023, 07:48:52 PM
I often play Pragmatic Play and Play'N Go but lately, I've been staying away from Pragmatic Play because it seems the provider is not friendly to me. I have been losing for the past few weeks so I decided not to play slot games from that provider.

Yesterday I played a slot game from the Red Tiger provider and got a win but that doesn't mean I like it because I rarely play slots with that provider. I don't think much about the RTP or do I check it every time I play slots.https://www.grammarly.com/
^We are the same and I think Pragmatic and Play'n Go was the very common game provider on the slot.
For me, it does not matter who the gambling slots provide because I know slot games are based on luck, not skills. So for me, any slot provider is good to use for entertainment and not for chasing profit. Because I am thinking this, the game provider does not have control over the results of individual spins or sessions.
So it seems that even if we play slot games from various providers, we won't be able to win if we don't have luck. But that will all change when luck comes at the right time so that it can give us victory. Game providers only provide lots of games while we control money and time.

Many people know Pragmatic Play and Play'N Go well and love their many slot games. That is why the two providers are very popular among other providers.
^Well I think there are several reasons why Pragmatic Play and Play'n GO are very popular slot game providers.
It could be because of the high-quality games, that it is, both Pragmatic Play and Play'n GO are known for producing high-quality and visually stunning slot games that feature engaging gameplay and unique themes, and their games are designed to appeal to a wide range of players, from casual gamers to high rollers. And also, this could be another reason for it, probably because it is reliable and secure since we know Pragmatic Play and Play'n GO are both highly reputable companies with a proven track record of producing fair and reliable games. They are licensed by reputable regulatory bodies and use sophisticated security measures to ensure that their games are safe and secure.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 13, 2023, 07:36:43 PM
Mainly I wanted to say don't chase your loss because it is one of the deadly things we do to ourselves while gambling since the day isn't going in our way betting more money will lead us to lose more money.
When the person doesn't respect the first rule, that is to set a fixed budget to gamble, never going beyond that sum of money, they fall on the trap of chasing losses, which will demand extra money from them to stay in game. Then the gambler starts risking money he can't afford to lose. He starts using money that should be used to pay the bills, food, fuel and the maintenance of his house and accessories.

It doesn't take long until his finances are turned into a complete mess! On the other hand, it takes really a long time until he recovers from this disorder...

As a player we need to have our own rules and follow them, we would lose everything if we do things in the wrong way, first we have to have control over our emotions, when we lose and when we win, but when we win is where we miss our own plans thanks to the adrenaline that runs through our body, first we get excited and bet on more, we believe that we will always win, that we will never have losses and thirdly what we will do would be to lose gradually until we run out of capital, that is what I say because it has happened to me and it is hard and I do not wish it on anyone who goes through it.
^ Definitely right as a player or gambler, it is important to have our own rules and stick to them. If we fail to do so, we run the risk of losing everything. It is risky to have control over our emotions, both when we win and when we lose. However, when we win, we often get caught up in the excitement and adrenaline rush, causing us to deviate from our original plans and make impulsive decisions. We may feel invincible and believe that we will always win, but this is far from the truth.
In reality, this often leads to gradual losses until we eventually deplete our capital. I speak from experience when I say that this can be a difficult and painful lesson to learn. It is a situation I would not wish on anyone, which is why it is so important to establish and follow our own rules, even in the face of excitement and temptation.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PEPE time to buy NOW? on: May 12, 2023, 10:03:18 PM
The PEPE  is down to 0.000001 value  now is good time to buy yes?Huh?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pepe/

Binance aproves PEPE as a good oportunity.11.5
Elon musk made a Tweet about PEPE 10.5

5000% PROFIT IN MAY POSSIBLE TO ALL ?
Please think about what happened to this project. The hype is over, major investors who bought PEPE during the hype had suffer losses. Can we still have the guts to invest in this coin? I really don't think so otherwise, we are pushing ourselves to become one of those people who lose their money from investing in a dying project.

~snip~
^Definitely right, the hype is over and I don't think people will put trust in this coin and now planning to be listed on Binance.
As I know this coin was delisted on the Bittrex exchange before. Because it has faced controversy due to its association with alt-right and white nationalist movements, which has led to some exchanges delisting the currency. One notable exchange that delisted Pepe Coin is Bittrex, which delisted Pepe Coin in 2018. So what now? Another hype?
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and How Do you watch live boxing and MMA matches on: May 12, 2023, 09:50:01 PM
It's getting harder and harder to watch boxing and MMA for free, let alone fights that matter. And when I try to look it up for free and can't, I have no choice but to watch it on YouTube even if it's a rebroadcast.
I also sometimes open the Facebook streaming page to watch it, but sometimes important matches are not available and even if there are, the picture quality is not very clear and also the picture is unstable because the stream is taken from the television.
and even though I love boxing and MMA fighting, especially boxing. But I didn't force it and didn't even try to do it because there is a last resort, I can watch it even if it's a rebroadcast.
^Definitely right because of that matter or depend on our location and the broadcasting rights in our country.
Sometimes FaceBook will automatically shut down those live streams if they found out that it is unauthorized live streams. I think in watching free live matches on Facebook we should be careful, sometimes there are malicious links that they put into it that could be at risk to our devices.
I think some sportsbooks offer a free live match to watch as long as you are a player to them.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 12, 2023, 09:26:34 PM
In addition to the list given by @OP, you should also take control of the time.  Gambling is very entertaining activity, it keeps us hook due to the desires of wanting to win but given that, we should always have a check and aware on our time of time and environment.  This way we can't miss any important schedule we have in our daily routine.  It also lessen the chance to get hooked because we are able to tell how long we have been playing and responsible gambling always stop when the time comes that we have the need to do other things.

^ Speaking of the desire we want that you have said I think that is chasing loss if I am not mistaken.
It is easy to get caught up in trying to win back what you have lost, but this can be dangerous. Don't chase your losses and try to make up for them by gambling more. Op was right we should set a time limit for how long you will spend gambling and stick to it. Don't let gambling take up too much of your time, as this can lead to addiction.
