841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leaving your coins on exchanges on: October 22, 2022, 09:19:11 PM
I'm not sure about that, even if Binance did in the past. You can't completely rely on the reputation of the big exchanges because in fact you will be disappointed in the end if at any time they can't guarantee your funds back after a hack.

Save your assets in a personal wallet instead of an exchange, it is the best option adopted by bitcoin users. Entrusting your assets to the exchange is limited to trading, it's good to avoid transaction fees. But it all depends on you, if you trust all your assets on the exchange then you should probably know what the risks are.

If you don't trust centralized exchanges, then you don't need to trade there. To date, there are a huge number of decentralized exchanges that have acceptable functionality and can completely replace CEX for trading. In this case, your money will always be in your wallet.
Decentralized exchanges are without a doubt a good option for some traders especially those which care a lot about their privacy and having completely control of their coins, but we must admit there are many people that are willing to make any sacrifice as long as they can increase their profits, it is because of this that centralized exchanges are still as popular as they are despite the glaring irony that it is that we are in a market that supposedly strives to be decentralized and yet traders use centralized exchanges.
^Probably because there is always hype in centralized exchange as we see and the reason why people keep using centralized exchange than decentralized exchange. If you compare them both, the centralized exchange has the potential of making a profit because of the liquidity volume on it which is buying and selling is a very quick process there while decentralized will probably need more time for your position to be traded. I think there is no problem using centralized exchange as long as it is trusted but keep in mind that don't leave funds there for a purpose of holding it in a long term.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Distortion Pattern on: October 22, 2022, 09:02:52 PM
^Naturarily, the pattern shows more loss and that is pretty normal when you are against the house edge as we know the house edge will always win in the long run. That is why we always set the money that we can afford to lose and if you lose on that day session, it is better to have a break and come back when you are ready, this pattern will help us to determine our limit and should always remember to have stop-loss which I though only applicable in trading but it also in gambling. Overall, gambling is not means of making money, it is more interesting to have fun.
843  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Top 5 Crypto Casino Website on: October 22, 2022, 08:16:40 PM
I review casinos on my site which I currently consider to be the top 5 on the market.
I think it doesn't always have to be the best-known names in the list. I spent a long time dealing with the casinos and of course also played, I can take away your worries, because no dubious casinos will make it into my top 5 list.
^ Rated and reviewed by you?
It is not convincing here for me, I will consider listening to those reviews if come from the community, not a single author or the website owner that could have a possible biased review or actually did not gamble on the site. We have a lot of gambling casino review websites here and how can you compete with them?
I don't know either where did you come from those top 5 gambling casinos and how you rated other gambling casinos.
Here are some other gambling casinos here that will probably be the best if you will include them in your list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5333602.0.
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: October 22, 2022, 07:59:11 PM
Hello guys. What are the possible Currency pairs trading strategies that a newbie can follow up. It should be from personal observations, beliefs and practices. Thanks.
^This can depend on the knowledge that you have because not all people are suitable for trading and it is based on their skills.
If you don't have enough knowledge, I suggest you not continue trading because it will probably be the reason why your fund will easily wipe out. So don't trade if your lack knowledge, holding is suitable for newbies as they said above. Investing in a DCA way would be the best way for those newbies who did not know how to deal with the market situation.
However for newbies, try your luck on copy trading for practice and gain experience, but don't expect too much profit from this instead, the experience will give you a benefit to learn and give a better strategy and a path to become a good trader.
845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 21, 2022, 10:23:05 PM
In order to trade you must employ some of your personal strategies. If you don't have any outside knowledge then you can never get any good from trading platform It is not always possible to make more money with technical strategies. Sometimes you need to survive on the trading platform by using personal strategies.
^Personal strategy is very useful when you start your own research and apply it in your trading activity.
As I can see, it is definitely right, having your own technical and fundamental trading strategies are the best asset in trading because it is sure you know how to forecast the price by using your own. So now the problem is to test how accurate it is and if working is not working 4-5 times, that is not a good strategy which is you lose consistently and need it to change. As for the question of the OP, yes, it ios good to have your own personal strategy.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Gambling on: October 21, 2022, 10:14:08 PM
Many people still think of cryptocurrency as gambling. While gambling relies on chance, cryptocurrencies rely on arithmetic and cryptography.
And secondly, while gambling is a game of try your luck, whereby an individual can either win or lose, cryptocurrency on the other hand are centralized or decentralized digital currency used as a transactional means of payment, volatile in nature and has its own blockchains. So it Is only people withn less knowledge about Bitcoin will compare Bitcoin to gambling as they are both totally two different concept
^In fact, can be considered as gambling in cryptocurrency if you invested shit tokens, meme coins, and other forms of altcoins that are hyped of the pump and dump people and when you invested this it is also considered that you gamble your money. Crypto and gambling are far different if you know how to choose a potential one, you are not gambling in that way, you are investing in good potential coins like BTC and ETH which are those leading coins that we are surely gaining profit from.
847  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 21, 2022, 10:00:08 PM
Why ? Just why ?

^There are still gambling platforms that did not require a KYC process, but the problem is you need to know the reputation if this is enough for them to trust your fund. This has been discussed here so many times why people avoid KYC compliance on any gambling platform and some prefer to gamble in a centralized gambling platform that has require KYC because they know it is regulated and trusted. Each one of us has a prefer for choosing a casino if you avoid gambling casinos that required KYC I respect your decision because I know you have a valid reason.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 20, 2022, 10:41:28 PM
As a responsible gambler, I know we don't let gambling change our lifestyle. If today is your luckiest day ever in gambling,on your first game you won the sum of $50 000.
First, will you quit the game immediately and withdraw all your funds or will you play for awhile because you are excited.

Second, will you use this money to upgrade your lifestyle i.e living big and showing off, even relocating to a better environment and forget about your old friends in your former neighborhood ? Or will you just remain quiet, happy and living a your normal way of life but investing the money into something profitable without telling anyone ?
^ I don't understand why you forget your old neighbors and friends but instead if you don't want to give them, you can still keep quiet and enjoy your winning. Since I occasionally gamble, if I won that big amount, I split it into 80/20%, the 80% is my saving or the amount that will change my normal life and the rest 20% is the amount that willing to lose again in gambling. There should be always a limit when you are in gambling, this is how to manage risk, if you will run away after winning a big amount, for sure when there is no one left in your winning, for sure you will keep coming back hoping to win on that big amount again.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: October 20, 2022, 10:34:50 PM
~snip~
First, in your opinion, what would be a reasonable amount to give his girlfriend? Second, assuming you were the apprentice in the story, would you abandon your training or would you have given in to the pressure to split the money with your boss?
^ For the first question, this is how you will measure if your girlfriend truly loves you, because if she demands that big amount instead of waiting how much amount you will replace? It seems there is no relationship between both them if the girl demands that big amount instead the amount that you stole from here. On my side, I will split the money on a 50/50 and take her on the date, just a money dude, if she is worth it to fight against the money, then go for it.
For the second question, it depends on the situation, if there is another place to apprentice,  I will refuse my boss and find another place to apprentice. It was my money, he was just only your boss and nothing else but there are no options, I rather do what he said and split the money until you will finish your apprentice which is very important for your future job and you will earn more than what you have won today.
850  Economy / Gambling / Re: All the truth about Crazy Time! Is Crazy Time Rigged? on: October 20, 2022, 10:18:21 PM
in most of the case these games are not rigged but just really hard to win... and big wins are exception due "randomness".
in the same time you need to hit a win and multiplier. It's clear odds are in favor of house Sad likewise any casino games.
my personal suggestion: don't play a game or in a site where you're not confident.
^According to the article the crazy time odds are big and it is 6% probably against the house edge, how does it happen, the chances of winning are high is that what it means? I saw there it is usually in playing roulette which is really hard to win because as we know it is based on luck games.
Crazy time is somehow still good if you know how to manage risk so that is the reason why crazy time still exists or is not rigged. There is also a lot of bonus and winning opportunities at crazy time.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 20, 2022, 10:01:13 PM
What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

^ Close the gambling platform and contact my friends and play Valorant or Call of Duty, online games that truly relieve stress or even worse loss.
All you have to do is divert to a thing that you can get over,  mostly when I am at a bad loss, I eat more, play online games more, or else hang out with some of my friends and drink liquor but this is rare to happen only when there is occasion. We should not focus on gambling, because the more you will give attention the more you will be prone to be addictive to gambling. Everything should be balanced and don't chase too much money on gambling.
852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Galaxy.bet | ⭐ | 🚀 | 🎲 | 🎰🚀 on: October 20, 2022, 09:55:03 PM
Galaxy.bet I am suggesting that you buy copper membership in forum to be able to post full images with previews and links.
This will make your ANN topic much better, and maybe you can think about creating some marketing campaign in forum.

^Probably OP is not serious about this campaign, after posting this thread OP disappeared? What if after we deposit on that casino it will disappear?
OP just follow the suggestion above, better ANN thread will have a better result, and also we should be active in answering quality questions and concerns from others so that people will encourage to play on your gambling platform. Competition is one of the biggest challenges that you will probably face and I think you need to think about it.
853  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 19, 2022, 10:46:50 PM
You`re right. When i wrote about planned visit i forgot about time. When you travel on vacation you usually have some additional money to spend. In this case visit to the casino don`t break your plans. But the same time you can spend lots of time there and it can make you to spend money all left part of the trip - change tickets, rent the hotel, etc.
I will be tempted to play if ever I will go in casino so If I will plan my visit and with tight budget I will not recommend visiting any casino since I might lose track and spend pocket money into gambling. I will prefer to play online and just enjoy their tourist spot. I will try as much as I can to follow my plan and budget to not have any problem or not have a stressful travel and vacation.
Why not? Just plan the visit in casino and plan some money you ready to spend there. Such visits often give positive emotions(even if you lose money). The same time it is an interesting place to visit, sometimes it can be more interesting than the entire journey. The main idea is to plan the visit - in this case you don`t have problems with expenses.
^If your habit is to gamble and you love to gamble, this is what you do to visit and spare money to spend on gambling.
Gambling in other places that you visit is a privilege and honor because you are not in your place, and it will become a part of your history while visiting that place. However, this is a risk and needs to watch closely, just make sure that you have enough budget, or else, you will be stuck in that place and cannot go home because you lose all your money.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 19, 2022, 10:19:31 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

I think that pretty much every industry would rather not have to deal with regulations if given the choice. It takes their time and costs them money to develop solutions. Not to mention additional staff to enforce these solutions. So I doubt they do it because they like to go through additional steps to run their businesses. You have to be legal if you want to stay in business though, so it is what it is.
^Definitely right and legalities are the most successful business now in any business field.
If you want to stay in that business in a legal way, it is a part now to have a KYC to follow in which jurisdiction you become legal. Let us accept the fact that from now on, KYC or centralized gambling asks for KYC and we have nothing to do with this. All we have to do is to pick a gambling casino that has a reputation where we can entrust our personal information.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 18, 2022, 10:05:42 PM
When I was a crypto newbie I used to think that the best projects always come from celebs, if the project isn't shill by a celeb I have no interest until John McAfee shot me in the leg, I trusted this man but one project I released was scam and I lost a lot of money, your money is your money do not trust celebrities.

Bad experience isn't it? if you try to listen to this so called influencers. Maybe it's really the psychology that this celebrities are bringing in the table like Drake and others that we have seen in Youtube or in Twitch. Watching them bet huge and makes us do the same.

The outcome though might be different, so yes, it's our money, so we need to be careful where and how we spent it in gambling and not just listen to this influencers.

Influencers are also promoters and they are just making a money thru the video they created so listening on what they are saying or doing then follow then is kinda not good to take. Maybe its a good basis to look at what they do but don't get hook with them since for sure they will not cover you up once you lose all your money. We need to be more careful on following them and only trust our instinct.
^Definitely right and I never follow them even though they are my favorite.
It seems like the same on my favorite vloggers on social media that I always updated their new funny videos come. At the end of the video clip, they had advertisement games apps that they played, I skip that video or never watch it. Because I know that it is gambling and I don't want to download any gambling apps to my device which is I prefer to use gambling casino websites. So they cannot influence me in that way.

856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 18, 2022, 09:59:29 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?
^It is tested that the most successful gambling casinos were centralized gambling casinos which they are obeying which jurisdiction they have been registered. KYC has a good impact on any financial institution, it lessens all kinds of cybercrime because of this KYC procedure, no more abusing alt accounts, no more money laundering and even scamming other players, because your real identity has been exposed, and anytime you can trace.
However, we have still a lot of decentralized gambling casinos, but choose only those that give transparency which is publicly seen to easy to verify others.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game Have You Won The Most From And How Much In Total? on: October 18, 2022, 09:46:32 PM
~snip~
I want to get your input on this matter guys, I have just two questions, and they are - -

1. Do you believe there are some games that carry ill luck with them, that no matter how long and how much the player wager, he or she never win significant amount of money?

2. Which game have you won the most amount of money from?, and how much in total did you win from that game?
Maybe you can also mention the game provider(Pragmatic, Evolution   etc.) so we can search for the game on our respective casinos and try it out.
^It is not possible to win based on luck games, if you will never win on the day when you are gambling, just take a rest and come back when you are ready. But I believe the longer time you spend on gambling, the higher your chances of losing your money.
Games that were not pure luck which I usually won, poker games, and sports betting usually gave me a good profit because I know how to research and study upon placing bets in sports betting. If you are not lucky enough to fight house edge, find another one but don't tell me you will never win fighting house edge.
858  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: October 18, 2022, 09:36:35 PM
Hey here. I want to try myself in casino playing, but I am really afraid of being scammed. Few years ago I lost a huge amount of money that I saved for a long time..
^ Glad to see that you are here in the forum which is a good start to picking a gambling casino. Trusted gambling casinos are here, just search and visit their ANN thread. But take note that their forum representative should not have negative feedback under the profile or a red flag considering which is the worst gambling casino. Use the search engine button on this casino and you will find out more gambling casino that was been trusted by most users here and has a good reputation. However, for the next option, we have also a gambling review website, gamblingbro is very popular.
859  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 15, 2022, 08:36:30 PM
When regulation takes a hit on crypto prob in few years from now what will happen to gambling projects like Roobet and others? I've discovered one gambling project claiming to be regulated but there is nothing to prove that, anyway, can regulation affects gambling projects in future that's all I seek.

I think those popular gambling sites here are already regulated. To make their business even more legit, complying with the regulation is a must.

Actually, as a user, we can't really feel much of this regulation except for the KYC part. But we don't have to worry as in most cases, KYC is just for big whales. That might be annoying for these big players but for us average players, nothing to worry about as long as we are not doing something unusual.
^ The bolded line above was the most reason why gambling casino has started accepting KYC because more regulation means there is the legitimacy of the business. This is what I am talking about from my first reply on this thread, even though the gambling industry did not want this KYC process but since they are regulated in which jurisdiction they follow, they are oblique to conduct KYC to combat illegal activities as the government does and I think they are not alone with this, any related financial company or services should be done KYC to avoid such negative activities.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need to ask this before I order for a Hardware wallet on: October 15, 2022, 08:25:58 PM
It's better to store XRP in a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S, Trezor, Safepal, SecuX, etc., that supports this crypto. Don't ever count too much on storing XRP in centralized exchanges and even non-custodial wallets that were created online.

Investing in a hardware wallet is the key to ensure that your funds are safe from hackers and intruders, especially XRP. One of the best investment that you'll ever need to make sure that your funds aren't compromised and having full custody of it.
^Definitely right and that is good advice.
For me, I will choose a hardware wallet like Trezor because it very popular and trusted hardware wallet that has been there for how many years.
In any wallet to save your crypto, a hardware wallet is more secure than a software or centralized wallet because this hardware wallet has security features that you can trust. So go for Trezor if you want to hold your XRP for a long period of time.
