721  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: December 10, 2022, 09:15:52 PM

1. Don't spend without a plan
Because if you want to save something or have some money, you should keep having plans when it comes to what you buy.
this is an important thing in managing finances I think, but sometimes things don't go according to plan, with the strength of commitment this will always be done,
always avoid platforms that offer discounts and purchase goods in installments,
^This belongs to financial management which you need to have a plan for everything you spend your money on.
Always separate your needs from your wants, always put priority on your need and your wants should not always be tolerated. Saving money and investing is the best thing to do, but that is not simple as that when it comes to investment, you should have knowledge of it before you invest so that you better understand what field you invest in. But saving alone won't give anything advantage to you, as an expert says, don't let your money sleep if you have, invest it wisely and let works your money for you.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will there be a replacement for bitcoin one day so that bitcoin isn't number 1? on: December 10, 2022, 09:00:24 PM
Will there be a viable replacement for bitcoin one day?

I think i came across a thread as well of recent that ask about this same thing if bitcoin will be replaced but OP you need to understand that what we have as at present is bitcoin and ever since the invention of this there have been alot of altcoins coming in and out to create something similar to it but all were centralized, bitcoin has not yet witnessed a counterpart for now and no any other form of digital currency be it cbdc, crypto projects, altcoins or tokens and that is why bitcoin has an ever increasing value despite it volatility people were still in search for it over the internet, they want to know, learn and invest in it because it's the present time world financial  economy solution of decentralization, which is absolute freedom and no other form of currency aside bitcoin comes with such.
^Inshort, only BTC has a real decentralized feature than the others.
I don't know what is replacement OP talking about, it is a replacement that means BTC is become totally vanished?
I don't think so, BTC will remain always the number one digital currency, for how many years BTC has existence and beyond that how many coins/project that has been created for the purpose of alternating BTC functions, but most of them has remained altcoins and BTC cannot be replaced.
My answer is no, there is no one the same on BTC that can replace it.
723  Economy / Gambling / Re: around 1.6 billion people worldwide gamble, What about a poker gamefi?? on: December 10, 2022, 08:45:57 PM
Since we are talking about the game of poker and the fact that this game is so popular all over the world, I will share my feelings about this game.
First of all, this is of course a psychological game.  Of course, there is an element of luck in dealing cards, but when it comes to bluffing, this is the most interesting and fascinating thing in this game.  At least for me it is.  It is this psychological competition that gives poker the aura that has made it so popular all over the world.
^This game has become popular because this is not a pure luck game, you can increase your chances of winning even though you are holding a bard card.
Through bluffing, gamblers become excited to play this game, and did you know that bluffing online and bluffing when you are offline casino is quite different? In an online game like OP said, a poker gamefi which I think bluffing is not that important, don't bluff blindly if you don’t have an idea what your opponent’s playing style is, it could put you in a very bad spot.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 10, 2022, 07:51:03 PM
Manny was the legendary player of boxing world with all types of matches. But DK also the good player with some good strategy towards the game.DK was master of various martial arts and it also includes of boxing. So his game was unique with different techniques. His fight against the legendary fighter Manny had a huge audience to the game of boxing.

I'm not sure though if you have followed DK career, this is boxing not martial arts exhibitions, so in any case he will be at a disadvantage here because this is Manny's bread and butter to speak off.

Unique as in what? they will just stand in front of the ring and throw bombs, you can't used your legs here.

And obviously this is just an exhibition match so fans are going to buy this fight because of Manny Pacquiao.

In short, there's nothing really exciting in this fight apart from the fact that Manny Pacquiao is returning to the limelight in the form of exhibition fights to entertain his audience as well as his fans that wanted to see him again. For me, there's really nothing big to expect on this fight as it's really not possible now that Pacquiao will a good show to give his name another hype because he's not on his professional career anymore.
^In what age do we consider a boxer to retire? I think still Pacquiao can fight.
Still, people are expecting Manny Pacquiao will still give his best in this fight even though it is an exhibition fight, I don't know if a professional boxer will not happen about his loss which is a big insult to his position and, if he loses this fight it proves that he must to retire because he is never able to depend on his belt or position. As I can see here, it is still worth it to place a bet on him.

725  Other / Archival / Re: online lottery games on: December 10, 2022, 07:39:23 PM
the seniors probably have those superstitious belief. there were people who sometimes hear something on TV or combine the birth dates of their children to bet on lottery. people are hopeful to get the instant money but there are times where there are multiple winners in our lottery, it must be true and not rigged.

i'm not sure if there is a trick to it that the city can program numbers to come out but in my country we use the Air-Mix Lottery Machine where numbers are on table tennis balls.
Not just seniors but even the young adults these days are also being influenced by those beliefs that even myself can't easily get out. But in times i also bet on random numbers just to try my luck, and most of the time i lose. However, i don't know if there are really tricks about it but if there may be, i guess some lucky players might have obtained it.
^I have watched a live video before in my local about the lottery result before they will start, they seem weighing the ball and making sure it is the same size and the same weight. I don't know if there is a trick either because they doing it live and how many people have viewed and watched during the raffle draw. Superstitious belief is very normal everywhere in gambling, it could be people use this to place a bet in the lottery and buy tickets. Which is I think that how a percentage of winning do we have because the reason why people did not stay is just because of the chances of winning.
726  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chips.gg Scammer !! on: December 09, 2022, 11:30:22 PM
-snip
I'm curious, do chips.gg and rollbit use the same sportsbook provider? one of the chats mentioned that he was flagged by the sports provider. I am curious as to what was he flagged for.
Many gambling site are using the same game provider but its not ok to flag your account because they’ve seen irregularities on your account with the other site, Chipsgg should not allow this to happen and better to explain this further. OP should continue to communicate though and demand for damages if proven not guilty. I’m wondering now if the gambling site shares your data to other site? Is it safe for the gamblers?
^ For sure they will not because they are not connected, though they have the same game provider they are not connected to each other.
I am reading the entire thread which is hard for me to give a conclusion, probably let us wait for the chips.gg side to answer this concern which is I suspected that their reason could be violating the TOS. I hope one of their representative or the owner will explain this complaint which is we can also learn to avoid if someone planning to gamble at that casino, chips.gg.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular on: December 09, 2022, 11:22:16 PM
It's not just the banks that don't want bitcoin to become more popular. Some people don't want it and continue spreading negative news about bitcoin to stunt its growth. But they will not be able to permanently inhibit the growth of bitcoin, especially if more people realize that its presence can bring changes to their lives. If those people can earn more money from crypto, not just bitcoin but also altcoins, then they will surely start to believe that the presence of bitcoin can really change their lives. They will invite more people to join bitcoin.

This is the problem that Bitcoin is perceived as something unreliable and questionable! Because various projects based on the structure of network marketing make negative advertising to cryptocurrencies!!! And this is also a problem of bitcoin scalability!
^When a new crypto project becomes a scam it has an effect on the BTC, it is undeniable that people will blame BTC even though they have not invested directly to BTC, just because they use the word crypto and it is included BTC. That is why banks always wanted BTC not to be popular because of this and plus another reason that BTC could be a threat to their financial system which they were afraid of since BTC has become well known. However, this depends on the government, because banks are just only a tool in a government, but once government allows crypto and becomes legal tender, the bank there is nothing they can do.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: December 09, 2022, 11:13:31 PM
In this case what you say is true, but I also agree with the opinion of some people who say not all new projects are bad, but the average project is bad Grin
We know that there are lots of new projects popping up every day and maybe in this case only 1 in so many of them is bad and we can't select the good one out of all the worst ones so it's really hard to find one.
I personally rather than looking for something like that by having to spend a lot of time, I prefer to be for a project that is certain.
^It is 90% of the project is a possible scam and the rest could be your option but the problem is how you will determine them which is everyone seems good to be true. For me investing in altcoins or a new project seems like gambling, because though they are probably good in the future but you will never know which one of them. The odds of being scammed are pretty high on investing, I advise anyone only invests what they can afford, or seems that they are willing to take a risk and don't expect a return because once it will fail, it hurt you so much.
729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 09, 2022, 10:57:34 PM
Most important in crypto is stable income everyday.

While you can definitely make life-changing money in crypto if you know what you're doing — the words "crypto", "trading", and "stable" doesn't really go well together. Even the best traders have bad trading days.
Its undeniable that there are money in trading, but its not always as it is. Trading may also means losing your money, that even skilled traders are not free from it. However, if your aim is to optimize profits, then understand that it won't be possible instantly. Stable income is good, but trading cannot guarantee it all the time.
^We need a stable source of income and it could be trading is another way of making an income which you cannot rely on this alone.
Definitely right, it is undeniable that you can make a profit in trading but the question is, how consistent it is? Probably you have earned today but what if tomorrow you will lose? So just an amount that you can afford, trading is a very risky part, I would rather hold my asset than do trading which is holding as I can see is much more profitable than trading. However, OP has good advice that could learn those who wanted to make money in trading.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I became Independent Because of Cryptocurrency on: December 09, 2022, 10:50:33 PM
Yes, we call it financial freedom, everyone here for sure has this kind of experience, start from nothing, maybe earning from a signature campaign and then we venture on bitcoin trading which I did in 2017 and up to now, make some decent money for me and for my family and I will say that I'm blessed with bitcoin or crypto in general.

As for those who are students here, because I know there are a lot, this could be a good option for you just like what the OP proved. Just a baby steps in the beginning, and just don't give up.

and also, a testament that not giving up on this market from a terrible loss will pay off in the future. because i am sure, those who got rekt or lost the first time they did venture in crypto , got away and regret for trying out this market. but yes, you can't really assure you are winning at the first dip on this market. usually, it takes hard work and patience before you will see your reward.
^Definitely right, those who have patiently waited may receive a better reward.
Nowadays, there are too many people who have experienced financial freedom the same as OP did and that is because of the crypto they have changed their lives. Being independent is not just easy, especially if you don't have a stable source of income while crypto is very volatile, probably OP was happy now with what OP's achieved but what if in the future?
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My concern of security when using casino houses. on: December 08, 2022, 10:49:16 PM
Casino security directly depends on how guarded the casino is, they usually place several people to secure the place so that nothing dangerous happens unless the casino is illegal and does not get permission from the local government.
In my place, there are no live casinos that can be visited, but in big cities, there are live gambling places that are operating but are illegal.
They are nowadays preferring online casinos because just lying in bed can open casino sites easily. But hacking online sites will be a problem for every user like phishing sites, malware, etc.
Live or Online Casino has their own advantages and disadvantages and depends on the needs.
Gambling is full of risks, that is why if we can gamble at a less risk, we opted to chose that like online gambling instead of gambling into live casinos as the risk and danger to be personally attacked is there. But we all know that reputable casinos are more secured and safe because that's one of the reasons why they are being mostly trusted by many. But we should not solely rely on it, even reputable casinos have their own anomalies, as no perfect casinos that you can be fully trusted on your own safety aside from your finances.
^Definitely right, that is why many people now prefer to gamble online casinos than traditional casinos or offline casinos.
You can gamble in a public with the purpose of having fun and don't bring all your money or a huge amount of money because possible it is risky when you go outside because you are not covered by the casino's security. Even though that is a reputable casino, I remember here posted on the casino massacre which is there are too many civilians has been died because of the massacre when a gambler lose all of his money in the gambling casino.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: December 08, 2022, 10:17:16 PM
Which one is the best for the next bull run?

If I look and analyze the current market, it is still not bullish and will remain stable, but I'm sure people will not give the best advice to choose one of the many casino tokens for you and I'm just giving advice always research before investing see which one better for you to invest your money
^Becuase token in a gambling casino is not intended for investment, that was created as a form of currency for casino players and operators, which is not ideal for investment. If you are looking for a potential coin to invest in the future, just go ahead in BTC and store it in your wallet, not those fancy tokens on any gambling platform. I don't see any potential for these tokens in the next bull run, they will remain stable the same as fiat on the casino, they purpose of this token is to be used in gambling. However, I may probably wrong but this only my personal opinion.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof Of Income Will This Pass on: December 08, 2022, 10:03:25 PM
Ok, suddenly the casino you're playing asks you for proof of income to be able to withdraw your winnings and to keep your account in good standing, your bankroll every month is $500 and you provide proof of salary that you are making $500 net every month, will they accept that proof will they accept that you are putting all your salary for gambling, will this violate the principle of gamble for fun, because you are working to gamble based on your proof income.
^The questions is, would you? Would you gamble on that amount based on your income monthly?
Gambling casino is not an exchange asking for proof of income for withdrawal, I did not hear about this casino yet but if they are intended to scam you, this could be their alibi if they will not give your winnings. I don't see you violating principles for fun if this is not against your will. If you let your family will starve to death in exchange for satisfying yourself with gambling, it is up to you.
However, I wonder if there is a gambling casino having these kinds of terms, it seems fishy on my side.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you experienced this kind of gambling on: December 08, 2022, 09:53:31 PM
I remembered that in my region there are a lot of aged men who come together to analyze the possibility of a particular number been used as draws they mostly do their analysis using jersey numbers but they do this analysis using news papers but not television as stated by the op I don't know if it is related to the idea of the op.

I understand this one you are talking about. The old men usually hangout forecasting through the soccer news paper to analyse on what draws will come during the weekend. It is almost same as the one the guy followed up on the TV because it is also about studying and reading of the numbers appearing that week. He also cross checked his forecast on the soccer newspaper to confirm same numbers. This is years back actually.
^Overall as the result, still that is a baseless prediction or simply guessing the result but if you totally have information of which team you have placed a bet with, you won't choose a jersey number but instead their background. I did not try this because I usually do some research about the team's condition, their background, and the previous match result of how they played. But if you don't have knowledge on which to place a bet, this kind of predicting bet would be also helpful but does not a greater chance of winning.
735  Other / Archival / Re: online lottery games on: December 08, 2022, 09:34:19 PM
So I receive an sms on my mobile number of a lottery ticket number which is generated for customers to try their luck and I was amazed then moved to try my luck, and when asked to choose a lucky number I just combine some info like birth date of some of my kids.

But in the end, u were not lucky to have mixed up the lucky number but I saw some other subscribers who were lucky to have won various prizes.
^Because that is how the lottery works, it is purely based on luck game. People who buy tickets also think about what number would be the best to bet, some others because of their dream,s but usually they maintain numbers through their birthdate or their loved one. I think that the game that has the highest odds is the lottery because probably it is 1% out of 100% that your chances of winning if we rate your odds.
If you notice, here in the forum those online lotteries did not exist because people know that the chances that you will have are very slim.
736  Economy / Gambling / Re: 4CryptoBet New Online Crypto Casino and Sports Betting! on: December 07, 2022, 11:01:48 PM
welcome to the forum , the site looks very simple and untidy , but it doesn't matter if it doesn't interfere with the functionality , you need to add simple games too like crash or Dice , and you also need to consider promotions for early adopters , give them bonuses or free spins as the thrill of the first experience at 4cryptobet
^Yeah that is too simple but I think that does not matter, the most important is how they will run their service that makes satisfied to their users.
I visited the site too it seems they are a good casino, the user interface is not that bad which is I think beginners friendly.
However, welcome to the forum, just follow what is suggested above and do promotion, let feel the community the importance of your casino that the other casino here did not have. Because there is a competition here.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 06, 2022, 09:36:55 PM
Hi guys I wanted to ask some of big family members who have experience in crypto and also in gambling. But my experience is not good in gambling.
If someone wants to start a Gambling casino online with Cryptocurrency than how much money is needed. I think that 100k dollars initial capital would be enough to satrt a better casino. Cause we have to promote and also do other such promotions.
So what are your thoughts?
^Initial capital which means you have a backup capital aside from this because running a gambling casino is too expensive, and if you won't have enough budget in your pocket it could be your project will fail. The $100k to start is not enough I think, first thing first that you need when starting a casino.
The number problem is purchasing online casino software, which is if you will hire a developer for this but I don't know how much the cost and next is, building a website which is very important to have complexity on the website and then license in your casino which is I think it depends which jurisdiction that do you like, Curacao is the most common license as of now. Next is hiring staff and then the last one is marketing. So how would you budget that $100k for the whole operation? If that is initial and you have a backup fund, that is a good start.
738  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you were building a Sportsbook... on: December 06, 2022, 09:20:48 PM
~snip~
Instead of asking about the desired API, I think you better ask for all the desires and wishes for a better sportsbook.
You may face a lot of different opinions from many users, which would eventually lead you towards a better idea in terms of requirements for a better sportsbook.
If this is the only thing that they like, what can you do? We don't know maybe they are done with other things and this is the only thing that boggles them. Once they have chosen an api that suits their needs, that is the time they will deploy their sports betting site and they will create their ann thread in this forum. We can still be able to suggest things there which we think are missing and hopefully they will follow our request. It was also for their own good anyway.
^As we know most active people here are gambling casino users, not gambling casino owners. I don't see any gambling casino owner or developer that actively joins the discussion here in the forum. How many of us here have experience building our own gambling casino?
However, this is only what I heard from one of my friends that runs a gambling casino, he said he used Softwiss integration. Just check this link below.

739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: December 03, 2022, 09:52:26 PM
There are quite a lot of different stablecoins on the market right now, and it's not entirely clear why there are so many of them being produced. If earlier there was only one main coin called USDT, now there are much more of them. Of course, if you study this issue in more detail, it is not recommended to buy stablecoins with a small capitalization. It is better to make your choice towards USDT, since its market capitalization is approximately equal to two stablecoins called USDC and BUSD (Binance USD).

BUSD still not safe . because that peg depend in Binance . if Binance exchange crash like a top exchange FTX then BUSD will also crash like Terra peg UST . so in my opinion USDT & USDC i can consider as a safe stablecoin. and i like to hold USDT must of the time. USDC also can be holdable
^ It could have an effect on this stable coin if Binance will crash and declare bankruptcy but I don't think BUSD was pegged only on Binance.
I am not on their side but if you will read this it is a more regulated stable coin as of now.
https://www.binance.com/en/blog/ecosystem/understanding-busd-and-binancepeg-busd-5526464425033159282
However, I will not consider stablecoins safe in holding.
740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: December 03, 2022, 09:36:50 PM
~snip~
Recommending someone to invest in Bitcoin is some how risky. If the don't have the patience to wait for the bull season to commence the might sell at a loss and but the blame on the introducer. And many likes attributing their failures to someone then their success to their personal effort. I have learnt from past experience that before I recommend Bitcoin to a newbie I will first ask how long the can hold for and that will determine if I will be willing to proceed with guidance or end it there.

^ BTC investment is not that risky, the deserved to be called risk is altcoins or shitcoins.
No one probably will fool people who will invest in a higher price and sell when the price is low. So if you understand the BTC movement, you did not worry about your holding but instead just patiently wait on it until your desired profit will come. That is definitely right, patience is a virtue and those who have this will claim a better prize. Avoid panic selling because when you are holding BTC only the amount will reduce but the quantity is not, if you owned 1 BTC it will always the same amount in your wallet, there is nothing loss not unless you will sell it on the exchange.
