161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 04, 2020, 04:23:09 PM
Those are the coins that doesn't have any demand anymore or otherwise they are looking for more exposure in the market by listing in multiple exchanges even they have no definite volume, but it will be removed anyway, liquidity is surely a huge factor in the tokens growth, but it depends on what exchange they are listed but some exchanges are only full of wash trading so you need to be careful.

163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending coins to an exchange vs mixers? on: August 30, 2020, 09:51:37 PM
It's possible to do that. The wallet address exchanges give you are their only. Once you send coins to them, it automatically sends it out to their main. You will still have figures appearing in your wallet balance, but anytime you request for withdrawal, the coin are always sent from their main wallet.
Have it in mind that most exchanges requires KYC to operate on them.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Stop bitcoin? on: August 30, 2020, 08:42:47 PM
Stopping to achieve what exactly?
This is a financial freedom and you think he would want it back?
Taking it back already ruined the purpose he created it in the first place making him waste his time hiding undercover for years.
Only new projects with the aim to scam would do that to it's investors.
165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trustworthy Free-Crypto Sites on: August 30, 2020, 08:17:02 PM
I always warn people to not depend on making a living from earning on faucets. Mistake most people make is dedicating time and end up gambling it. But best part is that that little fraction might worth fortune in the future which you might be allowed to to withdraw.
Legit faucets I've used include freebitco.in.
166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Arbitrage legit? on: August 30, 2020, 07:52:32 PM
Arbitrage is completely legit as it involves making profit from two different markets. The market is responsible for prices and not the exchange. But for bot trading, it's completely fake as they end up closing and turns out to be scam.
I would advise you to go for manual Arbitrage.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap's New Feature "Earn" on: August 30, 2020, 10:40:38 AM
How many of you have earned $10 worth of tokens?

I heard that the participants received 0.067 BAND which is less than a dollar worth of token because of the huge participation, but still it's a good way to payback to the community and It's surely similar to coinbase intiative where you can earn by learning through watching and reading something about the crypto. And I think Blockfolio the cryptotracker app will be doing the same thing because it has been acquired by cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTXt , but who knows.
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Think about when you invest in hyip website on: August 30, 2020, 09:56:57 AM
I knew some of my friends that trust HYIP sites or what they called the doubler, It's actually alluring and attractive to the people because who doesn't want to have easy money without doing anything just waiting. Some of those sites gonna exit after 10 days and their website are gone and some of them just return 50%-70% of the money that has been invested to gain your trust and if you invest more you won't get your money back anymore.

Social media are full of those scam links and it's hard to prevent others from entering those sites but they also need to learn it the hard way by getting scam so they will prevent it themselves.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: August 30, 2020, 07:16:02 AM
Pros: You trade with virtual money where your actions can't raise/damage your real budget, it looks like you spend money like nothing. This gives us possibility to test our skills and abilities in trading and help us further why we make mistakes and what we need to fix while considering the fact that the reason why I profit/lose is because you lose/profit.

For me the pros is that It's good to use when you want to know and learn a proper strategy that you will use in trading the coin, you can also know how to set a proper entry and stop loss when you need to trade. but you need to think that it's your real money because that where the cons comes in trading using demo money you won't even realize and just spend the money you won't experience the feeling of a loss.

That's why it's also good starting knowing the basics then start with real trading but using a small amount of money so you can realize the risk and experience having a loss or a gain.

172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do if you get scammed! on: August 08, 2020, 01:22:25 PM
That song will add more damage to the pain that you're experiencing after you get scammed Cheesy, Just like they say mistakes are the best teacher in your life, some need to learn it the hard way so you will not do it again, although it's painful to be scammed and nobody deserves it better move on and learn from it.

Better listen to this song too  Cheesy

173  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Advertises Uniswap Phishing Scams on: August 07, 2020, 06:35:26 PM
There are also few cases that youtube also advertises scam and uses popular people to scam people, Even Steve Wozniak sues youtube for using his name in the Bitcoin advertisement scam, usually, the scam goes like this, you will send any amount and it will be sent double, I don't know what is the terms and regulation when putting an ad on youtube but it will surely affect their reputation if they keep putting that kind of ads.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best place to find new low cap projects? on: August 07, 2020, 04:04:29 PM
I usually go to Uniswap, Idex, and MXC when I'm looking for low cap gems but I think Uniswap and Idex are great because of its good volume of the tokens there, I personally like low cap projects because of their profitability and huge potential and also consider if ther token is listed in coinmarketcap because that's a plus point, there are few in my bags such as FOUR, VID and etc. I suggest you to go to twitter and follow some of the influencers there that's analyzing and also looking for low cap gems, I look for their opinion there.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 07, 2020, 03:19:08 PM
Yeah, that's definitely right, and also consider not investing in one cryptocurrency fill your bag with different Altcoin that you think may provide you with great profit, It's just the same like that investing all of your funds in a single coin and when the price dumps, your funds and asset will also be like Beirut explosion, worst case scenario you will lose all of your funds or maybe recover the half of it, so make sure to fill your bag with a one or two or more coins that has potential, and also don't use a single password to different accounts and secure your email that you use on exchanges.
176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INTRODUCTION TO CHART FOR NEWBIES on: August 07, 2020, 02:54:04 PM
Very informative thread op, that's very helpful to newbies because when I started to try trading I didn't introduce myself in these kinds of charts when I was a newbie and I think that was my mistake, I thought it's too technical for me so I just wait for the price that I want to show in the sell order, but I didn't know it was pumping and bullish and I should have a much greater profit if I follow the chart and analyze it carefully. But now I'm using the candlestick chart because it's easier for me to know. and my tips are you should have a basic understanding when it comes to trading so you don't incur losses.
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies beware of influencers -they might not know it all/it's can go wrong- on: August 07, 2020, 09:40:30 AM
I usually watch and wants to know about the opinion of another person about a certain coin that I'm gonna buy because for me it strengthens my resolve to buy that coin and it's true that some influencers are biased and being bought by the coin, there are few telegram groups that are looking for youtube and twitter influencers to shill their coin, and sometimes they shill their own holdings to their subscribers and followers. There are only a few legit advisors that actually know the truth and give proper analyzation, not only a straight-up shill.
178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why there are too many topics related to Crypto Scams here? on: August 06, 2020, 05:34:55 PM
I think the purpose for them posting topics about scams is to inform, to help, to warn and also to contribute to the forum and we can't hide the fact that the other purpose is to gain merits, you're right too we can't ignore that some of the threads are just reiterated from the past threads and some are identical but it actually helps someone. They definitely know the benefits of it otherwise they will not bother to know the crypto, but newbies might not know the scams lurking in this field so it's better to warn them about it. It may be useless to others but it may be useful to someone.

180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fee calculation on: August 02, 2020, 09:49:34 PM
It depends on the wallet you are sending from. If it's an exchange wallet, you will be charged a fixed fee which is usually high but your transaction will get confirmed because they send with normal fee. But using private wallets like Mycellium, you can set the fee to what you. There's priority and there is low fee which could take over four hours to confirm.
