We're in the superstitious zone. 300 EU is holding until CNY goes to 2300. Then pushing to 400 USD. The next Rule of Thirds at 430 to 460 should start soon if Black Friday starts a rally.

It hasn't been that bad, bitcoin has continued to grow, all the layers needed to go on top of the protocol are further on. As long as that continues, mainstream adoption gets closer.

Price didn't reflect that at all, but doesn't need to, as long as it doesn't crash so far that people stop mining and the strength of the network becomes too weak.

Don't worry. The dumpers are working on that. They won't rest till Bitcoin has become completely worthless.
All they need to do is buy high and sell low. Works for me.

Name it Bitcoin.

or "How I Learned to Quit Worrying and Love the Volatility."

How can one love volatility unless you are a trader with inside info?

The average joe (99%) is supossed to use Bitcoin as a payment method. Do you think a payment method will be used for daily needs with such high volatility?: let me answer that for you: Nope.
Those with Google fu would know it's a parody of Dr. Strangelove. How can anyone not live in absolute terror when thousands of nuclear warheads are aimed at them and threaten to destroy all human life at any moment?

A common Filipino idiom.

no, unless you pay 50 BTC and become VIP
Was that  changed? It used to be 10 BTC donators that could change names. I was thinking of changing mine too.

Back again LOL.

Who dumped the posts? It wasn't Chartbuddy.

Maybe adam himself?

And it is also self moderated, so he might delete old posts that no one cares about
Hey! I resemble that remark.

1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins still excite you? on: November 25, 2014, 06:55:37 AM
im still in love with bitcoins, but with any marriage ,to keep things interesting,we gotta find   other ways to spice it up.
I lost a friend who tried the altcoin lifestyle. Just be careful out there.

Haha! Loving this reference... I'm about to go on a Kubrick binge this december... gotta catch up with all those references
Kubrick is still a guilty pleasure though I no longer worship his work. I don't think he would have made a film about the subject even if a good screenplay were written. Still, if he had, it would have been epic.

Still staying out of the Rule of Thirds zone. Magic numbers Ruble 17000, EUR 300. US and China bears allowing redistribution. China looks bullish. US looks bearish. I expect the bulls to win this round to magic number 400 USD.
1635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 24, 2014, 08:48:17 AM
regarding the fed auction - I assume it will be as bearish as the last one was  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

at these prices I assume they will change hands with a 10-20 % mark-up - gl to the shorters Wink
I kinda wish they would bearwhale 50k.

What?! We are still below 10k page? This is insane!
I'm bearish on page count.

The page count topic is sooooo 50 pages ago,

I'd like to hear what you think about sidechains...
I am of the opinion that Side Chains are controversial.

We may have broken out of the Rule of Thirds cycle. We're in Superstitious numbers now. The Ruble is 17000. Hopefully we'll stay above 366 USD.

Year 3000. Once all of the Earth's natural resources are mapped, quantified, and there is no need for labor, who decides what is traded and its price?
A subspecies of Roko's basilisk that charges obscene prices to people who opposed the automation of all labour?
Without labor, where will Roko's customer's with money come from?
edit: I'd not seen that argument. It's silly.
