1621  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: July 17, 2018, 06:34:24 AM
Still so many desperate noobs plaguing the forum sniffing around for Merit  Sad

Yes everyone wants Merit but they do not have the ability to take merit.

Like you for example?
1622  Other / Meta / Re: Problem with merit on: July 17, 2018, 06:27:29 AM
Is this for account sales or for merit sales?
He sells 1 merit on 10$  Smiley

I`m afraid merit is going to become the next coin into this forum. There are a lot of people trading them, and they are going to increase or decrease it`s value. Just one question: are merit based on the blockchain tech? Perhaps merit truly become the next criptocoin in here...

Ye, it should be an ERC20 token! Cheesy

I suppose those who were using bots in early days and/or had multiple accounts in these forums are being rewarded huh? Even if only a few users buy from them the accounts, they are rewarded.
That's why I used to "spam" about seperating the old rank with the new merit system, giving free merit to spammers just because they registered a few months before the new system is stupid, but it's been a long time now and I've stopped hopping for an update on the system.

Thanks for the official update. So the private keys of the wallet are fine, the problem is that a virus was installed along with the wallet.

The only blog that I see is missing from your blog is a way to get rid of the virus in case someone is compromised.
Ofcourse you cannot advertise a specific anti-virus company so I guess it's up to us the community to help each other on that!

For those like me who are not using an anti-virus but want to run a safe cleaning tool, Kaspersky offers a free one and this is the download link: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/thank-you/free-virus-removal-tool
I've used it on PCs of friends and it has done wonders. Though it's not possible to know if it cleaned 100% of every adware/virus/spyware that might have been working in silence, nothing obvious would happen after it removed the threats.

Exciting things happening

Its very early still

Price is slightly above ICO levels, so this is a great time to get in at the ground floor.

Get in while we're at the ground floor, sure, but the elevator might get us to the basement! Roll Eyes Grin Grin

I'm just kidding, you know I'm supporting Electroneum since its early days. I just wanted to point out that there might be a floor or two under the ground, but since we're in a skyscraper I wouldn't risk losing the elavator to the top just because someone from the basement might call it.

Man I'd be good at poetry!
1625  Economy / Services / Re: Nexybit Hybrid Exchange Signature Campaign - full till 7/23 on: July 16, 2018, 11:05:42 AM
For those like me who might have been used to the old system, your campaign payment is under the "Token Trading" and not "Futures". You can transfer funds between Token and Futures instantly if you want to, but withdrawal is only available to the Token's page.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: July 16, 2018, 10:57:00 AM

No, a developer's account was hacked, the ARK ecosystem itself is fine. I suppose you've read the article yourself, so don't say it in a way that's misunderstood.

OK, thanks.
I hope Ark team could of been more transparent. Like visiting the site Ark.io and everything is there, the news and what's going on.

From their main site you can go to "Pages -> Blog", in their Blog page you can find all their announcements and news.
They just said they'll prepage a blog post there,
...
We are also going to prepare blog post with more explanation once we get all the information.
...
so if you prefer their official site over this forum, you can visit their blog page mate! Smiley
1627  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Nexybit.com- Bitcoin Futures Exchange site. 1x~50x leverage, rich volume on: July 16, 2018, 09:48:23 AM
Today I was not able to use the site from any of my devices, it's stuck in an almost empty page and whatever button I click the URL changes but nothing loads.
Can you confirm if you're working on it? Maybe an estimated time for getting back on track?

We have solved the problem. Please erase your cache files and login again. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yep, I talked with one very helpful guy from your instagram, sent him the log files with the errors I received on the browser's console and only a few minutes later it worked fine! You guys were fast to response, good job! Smiley
Now I'm just waiting for the signature rewards but that's for a different thread.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALLMINE INC - FPGA Cryptominer on: July 16, 2018, 07:30:07 AM
Has anyone bought anything from Mineority? I haven't managed to find out their payment method. I see they require you to login with Metamask, but does that also mean they require you to buy with Ethereum?
I'm not planing to spend my crypto to purchase anything at those ridiculous low prices, I'll have to use my bank to send fiat to an exchange and get crypto if they don't accept PayPal, but then I won't be able to send this big amount because of capital controls (Greece!!)
1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: July 16, 2018, 06:47:40 AM
Starting to prep a computer for the 4 Xilinx cards that I have on order (with plans to add 4 more Xilinx cards down the road).  I have ordered an EVGA 1600 watt power supply, Biostar BTC-250 Pro motherboard, i7-7000 kaby lake cpu, 16GB DDR4 RAM, I am thinking of buying a 128GB  SSD for Windows 10 and all the mining software needed.    Is that a large enough SSD for Win 10 plus all other software required?

I believe even 64GB would be fine, but going with 128GB is ofcourse the most futureproof. Windows folder is holding 23.3GB on my disk, I'm sure I have about 1GB of drivers and if you don't load any wallets in it, just the miners don't take up a lot of space. You need to have about 25GB free for Windows updates and there you have it.

1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: July 14, 2018, 05:15:19 PM
lmao holy shit is this coin still around?!  i used to hear this coin was going to change the fucking crypto world, blahblahblah, had 1 or 2 pumps, then disappear ever since then (like so many projects lol).  sooooooooo i see it is still dead eh? too bad.

We're going through a cleansing period I guess, with so much beat down in prices we'll see which projects will survive, which dead ones will be reborn later as phoenixes and which will stay dead.

But about STORJ, is there any kind of calculator for profits? How much would someone be making for offering 500GB?
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OpenBeta] FirstBlood.io - Come Play!! 1ST Esports Competition Platform on: July 14, 2018, 05:10:21 PM
Are the first blood coins going to be incorporated into the platform or are they useless ?

Ye I'm also passing by this thread every few months to ask if there are any plans for this and also to remind the devs they're not mainly Twitch streamers, but a platform provider for esports using blockchain technology. They seem to have forgot it recently.
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: July 14, 2018, 04:50:26 PM
Does anyone remember what was the conversion rate that was received for 1 LISK and 1 BTC?
1 lisk = ark ??
1 btc = ark ??

What was the conversion rate during the TEC you mean? I don't think it matters, whatever info you need they'll email them if you were one of the lucky ones to know about ARK since then and joined the TEC.
But from coingeko I see the initial rate in BTC was 0.00003245

I don't know how close to the TEC this is though.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: July 14, 2018, 04:34:02 PM
when cryptopia.co.nz/

If these guys still have the same policy of paying them a fortune in order to list a coin, then probably never.
Raven didn't have a premine or an ICO, so the devs don't have a bunch of money to give for exchange listing.
Maybe if they've changed their policy into a less greedy one and review decentralized coins without premine/ICO and lists them for free, then we can hope to see Raven there. It has some good trading volume in crypto-bridge so it should look attractive to exchanges, since they get fees for every trade.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [1080 | 1080TI] ETHlargement - The Hashrate Hardener on: July 14, 2018, 04:24:30 PM
I managed to get the pill to finally work on my EVGA 1080's...

A few things were causing the crashes:

1) preventing the card from going to P2 state
2) Applying overclocks while the pill was running
3) Trying to run the cards with PL under 70%

I am now able to set my clocks and power limits with nvidiainspector, run the pill and have Claymore happily hashing.

I'm getting approx 36 MH/s per 1080 at +0/+850/70%PL but hashrates sometimes fluctuate, indicating that I'm probably dealing with mem errors so I must be close to max mem clocks.

@heavyarms1912: is ETHminer clearly better than Claymore? Is it the reason you're getting over 41 MH/s on a similar setup?

Were you using the EVGA overclock tool or another one? With the official overclock tool I had no issues out of the box with ETHlargment and Claymore. But I'm using a 1080ti, you said 1080 so I don't know if something is fundamentally different between the two cards.
1637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 12, 2018, 10:24:19 AM
zero has a turnover on the exchanges of 0.3BTC per day.. The best option now is Bitcoin gold. They just hardforked to a profitable algo(30-40% more profitable than zcash/equihash classic). Search for the new miner from EWFB

Ah thanks for the info. The PoW algo is called Equihash-BTG btw.
However, RVN still seems more profitable... I don't know it's not easy to calculate x16r anyway but I've calculated my average hashrate based on the average payout I get, so I'm sure enough that RVN is still more profitable than BTG.

1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CROWDSALE FINISHED] Blockport: The first social crypto exchange on: July 12, 2018, 09:47:21 AM
So how does Beta looks like? Any opinions on it? Is social media component already installed? Fiat gateway also working?

I really haven't had time to check it, but I am planning to do it this week. Can't wait!

The social trading component doesn't seem to be available at the moment, what options we get are "Buy and Sell, Exchange, Wallet". "Buy and sell" stands for fiat/crypto exchanging.
But I can't trade at all at the moment because it says I'm not verified. I uploaded the required documents about 2 or 3 days ago and today I tried to connect but it's still asking me to upload the same documents, I guess something went wrong with uploading the first time? I don't know, I'll check later.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: July 12, 2018, 09:30:21 AM
what is the distribution method for this token?

mining or buying

And if you're new here @Aismen, let me inform you that there wasn't an ICO nor any kind of premine for RVN!
That's very important since there was no dump of premined coins from the devs. They just started mining early and since it took people time to get wind of RVN, they made a good profit. For that alone I'm supporting RVN as much as I can.
