1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 11, 2023, 02:12:23 AM
Joe Biden is already officially running, perhaps you missed his announcement.
Also, one of the strong points about Trump is that he is a natural negotiator, he managed to prove it while dealing with Mexican diplomacy (according to him) and also trying to deal the the leader of North Korea, but it would take him more than being a good negotiator to stop the invasion against Ukraine. Putin would likely ask for concessions and perhaps part of the captured territory to be officially recognized as part of Russia. I do not know what Trump would do in that case.

The Ukrainian government would not accept such terms.

The Ukrainian government will accept whatever their masters tell them. But I don't think that there will be any ceasefire attempts before the "spring offensive". Ukraine claims that they have readied an army of more than 1 million people, and in a few months they will be able to retake all the lost territory (including the Crimean peninsula). There will be no settlement before everyone gets to know who gets the upper hand in this offensive. If Russia manages to hold off the offensive, then in all probability they will get the occupied areas as a concession. If that doesn't happen, then the settlement will be done as per the terms of the NATO.

That will be a hard part for Putin to take. He is not the kind that will just accept what NATO is saying. As long as Putin has the back of China, this will be settled in a war between China vs the US also. This has been preprogrammed when you see the news all over the world despite China brokering the peace negotiation, NATO says no and gives no solution.

The next election might not even happen, election days could become a 3rd world country chaos since Trump is being stamped out. He has the upper hand but he will be subdued and may cause divide.
1642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: May 11, 2023, 01:42:47 AM
Cryptocurrency is a global market there's always a huge gain for every crypto that's the needed fundamental concept, utility, potential, and use case needed by the investors. There's nothing about a Chinese or American coin pump.
Although, the Chinese may want to create some hype through their false analysis just like they used to do then with NEO but the effect will only last for some time.

There is truth to that Hongkong opening its gate for cryptocurrency adoption though, it could be a catalyst from the East to make the bull run for crypto which might just be the first in history where the bull run will be led by the Eastern countries.

The only project that I have seen with so much exposure is the Vechain. But the one with much potential is the FIlecoin. It's a bit worrisome to invest though because right now it's only BTC that has higher price fluctuation.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 11, 2023, 12:33:20 AM
It's only going to get bigger and bigger too..I mean we are just touching the very TIP of the online gambling industry.  Here in the United States laws around gambling have become much more relaxed, especially in states like my own, Illinois, where gambling has been legalized across the board..however even here for many online casinos you have to initially set up your account using the casinos IP address.  Then you can bet anywhere, but must set up the account at the casino to start.  Before long this will no longer be a requirement for casinos across the country, which will only had to this explosion.  Then the rest of the world will follow the western world before long as follow suit...again, just the tip is where we are right now.

With everything going digital, yes it's gonna get bigger. When our government launched the digital wallet for our local currency, local casinos are also launching their version of online casinos. After months of it, we already heard people lost their fortune over online gambling.

Thats one manifestation that online gambling is really getting bigger and there is no sign of it going slow while influencers promote casinos as well.

this is really also a problem as it will attract more newbies to gamble that is why there are a lot of people that educating other people by teaching them the risk towards gambler and other are having free consultation or mental support through online to those who are addicted to gambling. I hope that you government will also like have program for those addicted to gambling and not just focusing to on regulating those casinos

If you look carefully at the rapid development of gambling and the scant development of assistance to gamblers, their rehabilitation, as well as preventive measures aimed at explaining the principles of gambling to schoolchildren and students, you can conclude that the governments of many countries just pretend to care about the population. In reality they care only about taxes coming into the treasury and the laws which they adopt in most cases are aimed not at protection of the unprotected population, but at their own benefit.
This is actually situational because there are really places on the world or countries which had been banning all forms of gambling or simply been prohibited.

United Arab Emirates
Brunei
Cambodia
North Korea
Japan
Singapore
....
https://www.lawyer-monthly.com/2018/02/10-countries-where-gambling-is-completely-illegal/

Dont know if this one is on both physical or online betting but for  sure there are countries which both banned  these things. Gambling industry
isnt the only source on where they could be able to extract out that TAX but well its not shocking into those places on where
they do heavily rely on this industry considering on how much money could really be generated into this  matter.

It's somehow just publicity that these countries still have gambling as far as I know. Even China which bans gambling sets up a place for gamblers like Las Vegas. Cambodia has a lot of casinos and so is Singapore. What can be illegal today may not be illegal in a few decades.

They are doing this because they know people will still gamble in hiding. There is always a big guy somewhat above the law who will make money out of gambling. The government will be happy to accommodate them and tax the activity. And with online gambling, they can't stop it.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: May 10, 2023, 05:20:54 PM
wow the odds are out on stake.com

https://stake.com/sports/boxing/international/international-matchups/43587054-nghitumbwa-fillipus-casimero-john-riel

It's strange that Casimero has an odd of @1.31 normally this odd value tends to be a trap, if Casimero had an odd of @1.10 I would be convinced that he would win this fight without any difficulties, but now that I see this odd then it means that the bookmakers are still not convinced that casimir will get an easy victory in this fight, probably the risk of him losing is medium in practice, but also betting on a fight like this and with odds of @1.31 doesn't seem to be viable, even that he wins the profit would not pay off unless one adds this fight to a multibet bet but that too would be very risky

anyway if Casimero loses in this fight then Nghitumbwa will become very famous and will start to attract a lot of attention in the Boxing world so this fight is more important for Nghitumbwa than a victory here he will climb many steps on the ladder of fame and will also feel more confident that he can beat more international fighters, however in case he loses here in a humiliating way he will be a joke, people even before he fights laugh at him and don't see him winning this fight, so if he loses everyone will he'll laugh a lot, of course he'll feel bad but it's a risk he took the moment he agreed to fight

3.4 for Nghitumbwa, which he has a slim chance but if luck favors him, he will indeed make a loud noise humiliating a top dog.  His next fight will be more challenging as well. He'll need more luck from his supporters.

Proving himself against the rest on top will be more challenging for a fighter who hasn't even tested fighting abroad. But who knows, almost all his fights ended in a KO.
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin will become stable currency? on: May 10, 2023, 04:12:34 PM

There is no fun when BTC is stable. If you are looking for stable currency, there are stablecoins available already. That's the one you need.

You can do a lot with stablecoins, especially in the defi platform. And you can simply trade BTC with stablecoin as you can take advantage of its price instability. It's the way it is since the time the crypto market opened.
1646  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bhutan Kingdom is looking for Mining partners to expand their project on: May 10, 2023, 03:37:06 PM

It's said that they are already mining using hydroelectricity but they are still looking for partners. It could be that building another hydroelectric power plant solely for mining is what they will propose.

If it helps for their economic independence, why not. It's strategic for the country to go into BTC mining after all they can provide green energy. Anything that can give an opportunity to make use of their waters will be good.
1647  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you Spending Money the Wrong Way in Pursuit of Happiness? on: May 10, 2023, 02:21:24 AM

In today's world, you really can't say money can't buy happiness because you can't be happy when your stomach growls. It only means money helps you being happy.

But I think there is no wrong way of spending your money unless you didn't share what you bought with someone you love. Be it your significant other or family members. You will not regret the money you spend when you shared it with them.

1649  Economy / Gambling / Re: blizz.io blatant scammers stay away on: May 10, 2023, 02:00:38 AM

they are unreasonable not to give any proof they want to appropriate the money i deposited in the amount i won total 2,200$

There is no accusation against them so far but yours only. Maybe they are really that good and you really have cheated otherwise they won't just do this with just $2,200.

But yep you may try that askgamblers suggested above. That's one way to do it for you to be heard since they already stated it's final. They seem to be confident in their decision and there could be truth to what they are saying. Sorry for your loss.
1650  Economy / Economics / Re: Bittrex Files for Bankruptcy in Delaware on: May 09, 2023, 10:14:02 PM
Bittrex has been around for a long time, when I was just starting out in cryptocurrency it was one of the most popular exchanges in this industry field. What's happening now is actually like SEC pressure in the U.S. in my opinion.

You don't understand the brains of the officials in the SEC of the U.S. It's all because they want to hold and control and obey it as they want. This exchange is also a waste.

Although they are global, they are based in US so Bittrex couldn't last a lawsuit that will most more than their worth. They used to be big before 2017 but suddenly when Binance came, they were taken over.

This is the first exchange so far that I actually submitted KYC doc. If no one bails them, the government will do and there goes my KYC documents.

Meanwhile coinbase going offshore to escape SEC. This is one of the exchange that can fight back SEC.
1651  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What will happen if this congestion continues on: May 09, 2023, 09:04:58 PM

With high transaction fee that you sending 50$ will also cost 30$ for the fee makes BTC less attractive to use. It making BTC unsecure as well because definitely this will be exploited who knows the government may be behind all this. If they are an attact from random groups, obviously they will not stop until something has to be done by the BTC dev.

What could happen is the less and less people will used BTC for remittance, there are altcoins cheaper and faster.
1652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners Benefitting from the High Fees? on: May 09, 2023, 07:41:32 PM

Miners don't just earn from the blocks they mine but from the fees as well. Obviously they benefit from this congestion, business thriving this way and they could chose which transaction to prioritise especially the ones with higher fees.

They are probably the ones selling right now for they also know prices will drop.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Start a Bitcoin Casino/Sports Gambling Business (Checklist) on: May 09, 2023, 07:29:45 PM
Thanks for the info. But I will continue to advertise various casinos))

Congrats you just revived this.

While we are here I'm going to ask how the bookmakers are going to add list of fights, are they pre-made that sportsbook owners are just going to approved? Or do they need to ask permission to add the fights?

It seem easy to create a sports casino website with right software and money to secure top level domain. The challenge is competing the big bitcoin sportsbookies.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: May 09, 2023, 07:13:16 PM
strange that there is still no option to bet on this fight at stake.com, even though there are only 4 days left for the fight to start, I don't understand why this option is not yet available, could it be that this has nothing to do with the little importance that this fight has or are they still thinking that Can something happen and the fight be postponed? well anyway if i can watch this fight i would definitely watch this fight and the reason is that i don't believe it will be a very long fight, i predict early KO and the fight will be over very soon, i'm still hoping that on the news site in Portuguese that I follow make analysis and comments about this fight

i predict the comments will be very funny, because the youtube comments about this fight make me laugh so much because the guys from namibia are convinced that the fighter from their country can win the fight, here comes the guys from philippines we all know that when when it comes to supporting their fighters they become very competitive in the comments on social media so it's funny to see Filipinos arguing with those from namibia and everything gets worse because Nghitumbwa is not a favorite and is not even taken very seriously by the commentators of the youtube channels i saw

Though their titles are global, they are unknown fighters whcih could be the reason. Strange still because stake normally list WBO fights.

This could easily be predicted since Casimero is the most experienced and still a WBO champion. A mismatch that we could say he picked this Filip for the number.

If I have to be the bookmaker, my odd will be Casimero 1.3 vs Ngitumbwa 2.4

1655  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market on: May 09, 2023, 01:52:43 PM
...there is a chance that things will get even worse...

Are you telling me, we are still not yet living hell? What could be worse? zombie attack coming?

...it is true that you could recover by learning from your mistakes...

So we finally have the chance to make money once and for all? And it is within our grab? Time to beat the bank?

Zombie attack is possible  Cheesy

The world economy is in turmoil. BTC is deemed to be a hedge but if its also affected, all the more the stock market will be when all investors are at the mercy of the company's production. You can't expect to make profit while the major holders of bonds and shares are trading with inside information.
1656  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: May 09, 2023, 01:37:35 AM
I have never seen anything like AI gambling. I don't know why people are always carrying trending news to make things look more interesting and bring more customers to there platforms. I have seen making AI crypto projects and I wonder why many people are always after things that are trending. We need to know what we are doing so we are not going to follow trend and end up losing our money just because we want to play AI bets.
So do you really believe that this is just a trending things in Gambling? do you really Understand what AI means ? because you seems to be confused about how this works and what is the benefits of this to the gamblers as the gambling sites are mostly runs through AI and that is why we can hardly beat them.
maybe you need more understanding and this is not just about other projects but the reality of life now.
this technology is gaining more not only popularity but usage over millions of people now from everything in the world.
offering various things that will help people ease their activities and making their life comfort from both ends.

To those that have grown accustomed to its use, does it really help in making money? Because, I don't see it being of much or any use when it comes to gambling.
These AIs work on the concept of historical data in its calculations but, are we sure the outcomes of a rolling game has any permutation that considers historical data..? I can't say but, the house would be well aware not to let systems that would harm them persist.

Maybe not that instant mate but we have seen the advantage , it may not completely today but sooner , maybe we will take lots of advancement when this is totally in place for gambling?

The odds will always be on the house even if you can adjust the probability of your house to win. It can't be advantageous to player when the horses are actually not real. They're the ones creating these horses too. So I don't see anyone get used to it unless the player is happy losing his money.

While players can try using AIs, they will also be used by the casinos. Its not gonna be worth playing in this computer base horse race.
1657  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 09, 2023, 01:00:00 AM

stake.bet
. Is this casino related to Stake.com?
1658  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: May 09, 2023, 12:48:50 AM

This relates to the culture of every country. You can't just tell them to retire base on their merits and achievements in the past as opportunity of each person is different. One person comes from a rich family and able to graduate Law. The other one worked  a hard labor being a plumber.

Not sure if they have 401 in France but 401 as well is dependent to how much you have saved for yourself.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's your gambling experience right now? on: May 09, 2023, 12:38:52 AM
These lastest days I have been quite busy so I have had no time to log in and roll dices on Stake, so for now I have not dealt with this horrible high fee drama yet. If I wanted to deposit in any casino, it would be a different story, though.

I am mostly a casual and small gambler who would not deposit more than 10$ in Bitcoin at the time, which unfortunately means that it could not do it, if I wanted to.  Sad

While I agree that moving to lighter chains for now it is a good enough solution, it is quite painful to see the Bitcoin network being artificially disabled this way by spam...

Same here. Having just $100 worth of BTC means half of it is meant for withdrawal fee. LN didn't help at all in this kind of attack to BTC. Its only good if you don't withdraw at all and just store your funds until the congestion calm down.

Its releiving for someone who are just using TRX as price seem stable right now. I bought TRX to send to a casino already.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: May 07, 2023, 09:29:52 PM

If an altcoin survives in the next century, is probably because of the anonymity that it provides because its the most sought characteristics that users around the world since the rise of CBDC.

People will rebel against the governments and will just keep hiding because of the CBDC. Looking further to the future, XMR will have its place or some other privacy coins as well.
