1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience is the best teacher on: October 03, 2018, 09:28:49 AM
That is actually true. Experience will help us give more knowledge and understanding about a certain project or investment which will help us profit instead of lose. I've been in cryptocurrency for years and that I've learned a lot of things but I feel like I need more experience. It will help me avoid unnecessary risk.
1662  Economy / Economics / Re: Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising. on: October 03, 2018, 09:23:36 AM
In my opinion, it will have some impact the marketing of those ICOs. We might not see it suddenly but it will have some effects because Google is one of the largest platform in the world and advertising in it gives a lot of traffic. This will boost the crowdfunding of ICOs.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: October 03, 2018, 09:13:33 AM
That's the thing about media, they only think about clicks and views without giving enough context or even researching to their own subject. At least most of them are. I think they are only writing what people want to see, they don't care about facts at all. Let's be careful with those.

1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: October 02, 2018, 09:46:35 AM
Your story is kind of sad. Like everyone has said, cryptocurrency is a risky investment, you could lost everything in one night or you could gain thousands of dollars in one night. My opinion is that they've invested in a wrong time which makes them lost money. But remember, with this experience we will be wiser and more careful. I hope they get on their feet. Good luck to everyone.
1666  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Bitcoin bullrun this year. on: October 02, 2018, 09:39:10 AM
Bull run is still not certain but it will come in time. The effect of last year's hype is still making some effect to us either be it bad or good. But one thing is certain here, new technology will rise and new innovation too. Once new things has been created, bull run will start again. Just have faith.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethreum bounce back ? on: October 02, 2018, 09:37:00 AM
Yes. Ethereum has a lot of potential to be honest which will make it more valuable in the near future. Right now, Ethereum has gone in a bit of a dump lately but it will surely rise up once the Bull run starts. Even though it is possible that it would take years to get it back, it will for sure.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it true that the market usually rises before the end of the year? on: October 01, 2018, 12:29:17 PM
You should look at the market History to confirm it yourself. Well, it does rises before ending the year for some unknown reason. Probably because of FOMO getting spread around before the year ends. I remembered there's an expert who spreads FOMO around his twitter which makes things hype for some couple of weeks, I think it's one of the reason.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: October 01, 2018, 12:25:59 PM
ICO is a good investment but it is risky so I avoid as much as possible, unless it was recommended by my friend which is an expert in ICOs. The only way to make your profit high in ICO is to pick a good project that doesn't seem like a scam to which is hard. So yes, ICO is profitable but it depends on the project.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dude buys sandwich with Lightning Network on: October 01, 2018, 12:11:48 PM
That's actually impressive. With lightning Network being implemented in some small transactions like that, Bitcoin could possibly now become a currency that everyone wants. I'd imagine in a decade or so, cryptocurrency transactions would be sweet.
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: September 28, 2018, 07:55:48 AM
Do not put all of your egg in a single basket. You should diversify your investment to manage risk and reduce losses. Also, before you invest in a project, you should read it's whitepaper first so that you could come up with your conclusion whether you will invest or not. You do not buy for short-term, you buy for long-term.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: September 28, 2018, 07:51:36 AM
Bitcoin adoption is taking place, although it's taking its time, it is slowly gaining some fame around merchants. I agree that Bitcoin adoption helps make our life easy and better because I've been experiencing it myself. But there are still problems which hinders its adoption.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2018, 02:09:22 PM
In my opinion. Altcoin is still already important and it plays a vital role for the growth of Bitcoin. Altcoins does support Bitcoin too in a way so it is very important. Like for example, altcoin is much cheaper and faster than Bitcoin which makes it attractive to people but you need to buy Bitcoin first before you invest in an altcoin.
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has stabilized? on: September 27, 2018, 02:02:54 PM
Time passes by so quickly. It's funny when you imagined that guy's face when he sees Bitcoin's price today. Looking at the market history, $6,000 is huge compared last year and the years before it. It motivates me too see that Bitcoin continues to grow despite the fact that there are many who are against it.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strict rules in Bounties, is it needed? on: September 26, 2018, 02:16:14 PM
I agree that it is needed in making the Bounty Campaigns more successful. It helps the managers weed out those who are fakes and multi accounts which makes bounty unfair to those who goes by the rules. The fact that those fakes are getting remove, more bounties for me so I completely agree with it.
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 10 BITCOIN CITIES IN THE WORLD on: September 26, 2018, 02:14:20 PM
That's some nice list there. There are also a lot of Businesses in the Philippines that accepts Bitcoin as payment too like coins.ph which you can use in many ways like paying bills with minimal delay, buying game credits, and even paying for some necessities like foods. Cryptocurrency sure does make our life easy.
1677  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: September 26, 2018, 02:10:03 PM
I agree that the reason why others ban Bitcoin is because it cannot be regulated. Bitcoin can be use by everyone, anyone, and anywhere. The Government won't be able to know where did they spend their Bitcoin to because it it's semi-anonymous. Cryptocurrency can also be use to scam other people which the Government hates.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this... on: September 25, 2018, 03:17:44 PM
That's what I've been saying though. The history tells that Bitcoin's price has always continued to rise despite all this dumps every year. It always makes a comeback. All those FUD saying that Bitcoin is dead is just another way to scare off those investors. Thank you for this graph.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls will run Q4 2018. Thoughts? on: September 25, 2018, 03:14:48 PM
Even though the market is plunging today, I'm still positive that we will reach Bull run this October. If you compare the price from last year, you could see a significant difference and that every year, there's this phenomenon that always happen every October-December.
1680  Economy / Economics / Re: People are not motivated by money. on: September 25, 2018, 03:07:36 PM
That's half true though but I get your point and I agree with that. But remember, not everyone is the same, we all are different in our ways. Some might prefer money over anything and some might not. We are leaving in a very different times now. Money has become a necessity and that money has also become a motivation in some part of the world and to some people.
