I also notice that too, I've been watching the block explorer for the past few weeks and the amount of SMC is increasing extremely fast. Making it 2-3 months wouldn't hurt. It would help push SMC value up. As reward halves sooner, amount of SMC mined starts to slow demand and being that its harder to mine, people will just buy SMC as its cheaper and hence pushing the value up making mining profitable again. Maybe we can vote on it? |

Sorry, but the only thing that could save this coin would be someone buying a lot of coins in a short period of time and reversing the downtrend. Unfortunatelly that won't happen by itself. New investors won't come to Smartcoin because who would invest in a coin that is constantly losing value. Those who sold before this coin before it crashed were lucky. Those who kept their coins have a problem which probably won't get solved ever, because everyone is just waiting for something to happend. And you know what? Here is what will happen: the coin will continue losing value. That's a fact and you have to understand this. If you want to save the coin and have some spare BTC just start buying. Rising the price will attract new people.
Thats true, I've been buying with any btc i get my hands on but seems to be a never ending line of dumpers. I still have doubts that this is normal, someone is playing with the markets. We need to get added to bter, it has way less coins than cryptsy and alot of chinese traders so it should help SMC alot. We're at 26 votes, top coin has over 200. |

Whats the point in keeping the price down?
To get more coins cheaper and cheaper, and when the time is there sell high cause i believe the person holding the value low at this moment also knows it can rise in value to make a nice profit. ^exactly this. The 1btc buy pretty much proves this. No reason for a single 1btc buy order that takes prices up 90% unless that person were adding more stock to their holdings. Someone is definitely keeping prices down to tempt large sell orders so he can pick them up. Then we need to buy buy buy! Yeup, the sell side is actually quite thin, at least up to 9000's. With the amount of activity I see in this thread, we should be able to easily move the market if every supporter were bullish. The overall altcoin market is starting to pick up a bit, so SMC should soon follow suit. Did it once but people dumped, got it all in SMC. Wish i could buy more but not enough funds  |

Some sad news coming in today, in the midst of all the things happening in the cryptocurrency world. ag_ has stepped down from his position. at least 3ghs within a day  has to be smooth launch though Haha ofcourse, we have 4 pools on launch to ensure that as best as we can. All launches can be rough though, but we will power through. Will you be providing links to download compiled versions of the wallet placed in a zip archive with a password before launch or going to delay the launch until you figure out how to compile the wallet? |

Being able to use a decentralized and 100% anonymous currency is what sparked the crypto world. Regardless of it being anonymous or not there's still going to be illegal activities. |

That's what I am thinking too. People don't want to sell this coin, because they truly believe that the price will spike sooner or later.
There's some big sell orders but at high levels, like 0.00002-0.0007 has alot of big sell orders last time I was able to see them. |

Everybody holding , small trades controlling , price down rollin, soon to be exploding  There's alot of dumpers at the moment, you can't see them as they are selling at higher prices but there's any huge seller orders. very low volume and a few SMC can play with prices easily. |

Yeah nice explanation for why you won't get that bid eaten up. Alas, that is not what I did, or plan on doing. I wouldn't be purposefully keeping the price low on a coin I created. There are at least 50k down there, and it always has been. whale123 is just unaware. EDIT: I just calculated. There are 140582.5305 SMC for about 7.63382632 BTC visible on Cryptsy before he would reach your price. Nice try. Told you should have dumped earlier. Good luck. Maybe sell at market price because you're not going to get anywhere. You're the one holding SMC back. And to whale123, I'd be more beneficial to all of us if you'd consider buying from the market, for the safety of everyone and for the safety of SMC's price. Wow wasnt expecting so many responses in such little time.... Makes me have some faith in this coin. I really hope you are right about it going up in value. I bought at around .00005 and I wish I waited because its gone down to .0000265 The highest I bought was at .00007 but I was just tryin to increase the value, but I didn't have enough to put up a buy wall which prob would ahve gotten eaten thru pretty quick anyway. I hope it goes up to .0001 again or higher.... My only concern with this coin is if there will be too many like CTM or MOON, which aren't successful because nobody wants to trade them, they seem like they are more for mining. DOGE has its own exchange tho so dunno maybe it will be a success... I hope so at least Seems the market is being manipulated with, in my opinion this isn't the true value of SMC. Until the asshole whos controlling the market stops and goes to another coin we should see an increase. SMC total coins are 51 million, Moon is in the billions so big difference. I am interested in buying this coin. If you have large number of SMC (5 BTC worth minimum) contact me and we can negotiate the price (I can pay double current price or even more, depending on the amount of coins). I am not interested in buying smaller amount of coins than 5 BTC. Also, if you are wondering why won't I just buy those coins on the exchange, the answer is that there is not enough coins being sold right now to meet my demand (I guess people don't want to sell to low).

Help me pump SMC on coinex.pw I believe in it. SMC back to .0001!
Volume is not even half a bitcoin there, you won't cause anything. If you want to pump the price go to cryptsy. You'll need a good amount of btc to pump and keep buying sellers that try to dump. They'll realize there's a serious buyer and probably start buying too. I think we should think of a new feature that smartcoin could have, something smart. Any ideas? |
