Yes we are at a great price to invest right now when you compare it last December, but it is all the same thing every year. When Bitcoin is down, old holders spreads FOMO all around the forum and other part of social medias to attract new investors. Old investors know that once the price starts getting up, it will be down again at the end of the year, the pattern is simple and investors are getting smarter now. They know that some stupid investors has to be sacrifice for the benefit of others. I think Bitcoin is getting unattractive this year.

There are no proven results yet, only speculations who has the most holders. Looking at the history, China is the first hoarder of Bitcoin and one of the first to gain dominance in it which is why they play a huge part in cryptocurrency last year. I'm not sure what happened now.

I think it's both bounty hunters and early investors are dumping their coins as soon as a token or coin got into an exchange. Some people just want quick cash as soon as possible or some are dumping because they know that a lot of people will dump too and reinvest in the lowest price. But I think investors play a huge part in the lose of price of a token more than bounty hunters.

The thing here is that, it would take a lot of time after the bounty ends for a project to list it or not because the ICO is either still not finish or failed. That's the thing about bounty hunting, we are not sure whether they will list it or not, whether it will succeed or not. Depending on the team, we could either get bad or good result.

Cryptocurrency is getting famous around since last year. You can already see that Bitcoin is being use as a way of payment for larges things such as cars and even houses and smalls things such as bills and game credits. Adoptions are taking place. Although the percentage of aware of people are still low, it is still increasing each day.
|
|
|
Because they wanted to make up to their losses. 2017 was a great year for cryptocurrency where Bitcoin reached $20,000 but got dump as low as $5,000. People make false hope that it will get to $20,000 again that's why people believe in 2018 too.

There are saying and estimation that 90% of this altcoins will die because probably most of them are scam and just a copy of another coin without any new features added Actually, Bitcoin's price increasing to date so we are expecting an increase in altcoin too.

Bitcoin has been first use in the Dark Web. It's actually the reason why Bitcoin got so popular and got use as an anonymous way of transacting money. Yes, it's really a problem because it would create some bad side for cryptocurrency. But still, it helps cryptocurrency grow in a way.
|
|
|
Are you referring to any aspect? Technologically speaking, the advantage of altcoins over Bitcoin is that it is much faster and much reliable when it comes to transaction than Bitcoin. In the market depending on the altcoin, the price is much cheaper compared to Bitcoin and that higher growth potential more than Bitcoin is still possible which could lead into price getting up.

It could be disheartening to those who are new to cryptocurrency because of lack of knowledge on how it works. But you are right, even though it's down lately, life still goes on. Even though a lot are against it, we should still believe in cryptocurrency.

I've read that the government doesn't really care much about Bitcoin when it comes to control because Bitcoin still relies on Dollars. I think the only thing that government hate is frauds and scams. Since cryptocurrency is anonymous, the government would have a hard time finding out the real culprit behind those projects.

I think the only way for you to determine whether a project is good is by going deeper research about it. You should always try to read the whole whitepaper to be able to understand it's concept. If you've read a lot already, you'll be able to tell which one is good and which one is just another copy of another. Next is by researching about the background of the team.

I do recommend some of my friends to buy cryptocurrency when it is crashing. I'll tell them my personal experience in cryptocurrency and once they bought some, I'll tell them to hold as much as possible and wait for the pump to go. But of course, I need to tell them the risk that they are taking.

I do have the slightly similar experience like you. I have invested in some altcoins back in October were Bullrun is about to start. I had zero money invested in, only my time. Taking some coins here and there until I found a jackpot. I got like $5,000 from my altcoins alone but I got greedy and waited for it to increase further, but I still got some which is still nice for investing zero money in it. It's sad, but it taught me a great lesson.

Some people say that this year is the same as last year, I beg to differ. Last year is very different from now because of hype. There are a lot of hypes from last year that makes Bitcoin's price increase rapidly, like for example those forks and some news. Now, it's very difficult to predict the price as there are still some horrors that hunts us like that $20,000 downfall which makes Bitcoin unattractive to some people. But we would be able to see some increase in price in the next few months. Maybe not in October, but later this year we will be able to see the increase.

Do you mean by free? Bounty campaign is probably the best way to earn some decent amount of Tokens in a certain project. If still want to earn some free tokens, you could try and join airdrops, but the problem is that they only give like a very small amount per participants. If you want, you could just buy some in their ICO if there's any.

When another good news starts to flood cyptocurrency agains so new investors will be hooked. Let's wait for a couple of months or weeks to see what will happen. Just look at the market history, Bull run always starts around September to October and always ends in December.
