1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take back unreasoonable Transaction Fee? on: November 14, 2021, 11:41:15 PM
Anyone may know how to take back the  unreasoonable Transaction Fee?
It's a huge amount on my part and I',m afraid that you can never recover it even though you will be contacted by the mining pool, all you have to do is accept your losses and learn from those mistakes, always use the gas tracker upon making a transaction because once it's confirmed, there's no way to undo your transaction, kit's irreversible transaction.

I know uniswap transaction is quite big but that amount is too much.  Sorry for your loss, I hope next time you will learn from this mistake.  Dont always be hurried upon making transactions, check all resources provided links by them.
1682  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with a exchange that has lowest fee on: November 14, 2021, 11:22:31 PM
If you're not in hurry, the best way is looking someone in this forum to trade with you, you can create new thread in this board Currency exchange. Look their reputation, feedback, and history before sending a coins.
This!
There's no way to find an exchange either it's centralized or decentralized that has a low fee below $10, they always matter on the ERC20 gas fee.  Even on my side, I have a lot of small amounts of coins in my wallet but I can't move it in to exchange because of the large gas fee.  So the best thing that you can do is a person-to-person swap or here in the forum we have a currency exchange here but I don't know if there's someone who is willing to waste fee transferring into other wallets.

Always check this etherscan.io/gastracker for the gas fee reference.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 14, 2021, 10:59:05 PM
The topic of this thread should be : "they wish they could stop Bitcoin"
Much better, I tend to agree with you.

Bitcoin has a truly decentralized nature so that no one can stop, no one can change the code and overall no one can destroy this because it's virtual and only works as a number of codes in computers.  It's a fool if there's someone to think that they can stop Bitcoin, no one can stop on it even Bitcoin developers doesn't have change on it, though they can fork the result isn't a Bitcoin at the end.

Before, the reason why most countries are hated Bitcoin is that this could be the biggest threat to their financial system, but yet, there is open-minded counter leaders who are now accepting Bitcoin and making it a legal tender.
1684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 13, 2021, 11:59:34 PM
Nope, I think for everyone who is willing to learn in trading, but if this isn't your passion, then trading isn't really meant for you.  Trading is open for those who are interested to learn and willing to give their precious time as an investment in it just to learn on trading.  Because trading isn't an easy way of making money, experience and skills are a must in this field.  Some people say, it's a pure gamble but I think you can increase the possibility of winning as long as you have this knowledge and skills.

But I suggest to anyone who wanted to start trading, just invest your time to learn first before you will go.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El salvadore and btc on: November 13, 2021, 03:50:58 PM
Instead of btc they would just started using stablecoins.
Btc is not and never will be suitable for payments.
Why stable coins?
They already had their fiat which is a stable currency and also can use as an electronic payment, what is the purpose of using USDT?  Besides, this centralized stable coin isn't trusted and I tend to agree with the comment above said, so I don't think they deserve to use it as a payment system aside from Bitcoin which truly gives decentralization.

For sure El Salvador knows this experiment they had, though is a little bit risky but to accept and make Bitcoin as a legal tender will surely give benefit to them someday and for sure many countries will do the same as what they did right now.  IMO, their governments invested in Bitcoin to boost their economy someday and I think they already understand it.
1686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to spend smerits? on: November 13, 2021, 03:17:24 PM
Is there a limit to how much merits one can send?
I think it's 50 per merit transaction.
I believe it's 50 merits per month to a unique user.
I'm a little bit confused on this, so you can send a maximum of 50 merits per transaction and then, you can send it back again another 50 merits after a month, is that what you meant?  All I know is per transaction or per one post you can send a maximum of 50 merits and I don't know how much time you can send another merit again per one post.

@SatoPrincess, it's quoted above of what stated by theymos, there are no official rules but as long as it gives a high-quality/constructive post or thread, that's meritable for me and the text length doesn't matter to me.

There's no point hoarding your smerits, just distribute it correctly as you think it deserves to be incentives and it will also help the merit circulations.  Because merit distribution isn't moderated by the Mods or the admins, though theymos mentioned decaying smerits is possible but so far that has not happened.  If someone has proved that you abused your merit that could be punishable too, you might have a red tag by DT members under your profile.
1687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: November 09, 2021, 11:58:34 PM
The logic for investment is buying low and selling high and currently Bitcoin has a new ATHs is it safe to encourage new investor to buy now seeing how high the price has gone? My fear for new investors is that the don't experience a dip after buying since no one is sure of how far the new highs will reach.
The risk was always a partner in all kinds of investments, if you investors understand the basic risk of investing in Bitcoin, then, there's no problem at all.
We can't predict what will happen next, even when Bitcoin was at the price of $30k everyone was talking about "is this the best time to invest? " and then Bitcoin has been folded x times still asking and have fear to invest and yet they don't have the plan to invest because of fear.

So be it, and understand the risk, there's no safe at all, as long as you are holding until there's your profit come, you will be safe at all.

Others have set their target profit and held Bitcoin until it will reach the target, look around, Bitcoin has gained massive adoption and I think there will be new ATH will come.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook invests on Crypto on: November 09, 2021, 11:39:22 PM
I have read it here there's a lot of good news around now on crypto and most especially adopting, investing, and legalizing Bitcoin.  It seems there's a big pump that will come, isn't it?

But on his statement said, "for a while" means he diversified his investment for a while and might he knows that Bitcoin was keep growing and growing the price each day, it might they aren't long term holders.  However, this is still good news IMO.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: Jefferies sells Gold to buy Bitcoin on: November 09, 2021, 04:30:35 PM
"However, he has had a change of heart just like most institutional players of recent."
Wow, it sounds good to me that there's someone who has been changed their heart and turned back into crypto as an enthusiast.  Let's hope that everyone will do the same as Jefferies did, maybe others will change too especially in the country of China that always keeps spreading FUD news.  This will trigger those who have hated Bitcoin to give allocation percentage on their portfolio when it comes to Bitcoin investment as they can see that there's true profit if you will invest in Bitcoin in a long run.

I think this news is pretty bullish.
Pretty sure and I smell that there could be another ATH coming.  Who's next?  It seems the adoption has been grower bigger.
1690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a 'reputable' exchange that doesn't require KYC to trade? on: November 09, 2021, 04:12:47 PM
There are few left on exchange platforms that don't have to require KYC upon on trade and also in withdrawal.  In picking it might you face hard enough to choose and I think each one of us has a preferred exchange especially when it comes to the number of total coins supported.

IMO, these Bybit and BitFinex exchange platform have a feature that I liked, AFAIK, Bybit exchange no limit of withdrawal (I don't know if it has changed, DYOR) and Bitfinex has a maximum of 2 Bitcoin withdrawal daily for non-KYC and 100 Bitcoin for complete KYC seems the same of Binance before.

So now reputable, it's hard to explain for me but based on my experience of those two trading exchange platforms before, so far it has smooth transactions.  Still, DYOR is the best priority after all.
1691  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Platform just for crypto videos.. like youtube or OTT's on: November 09, 2021, 03:45:49 PM
YouTube can help a lot, all he needs to do is to search for the aspect of YouTube he wants to watch, there are many crypto videos on YouTube.
I tend to agree and Youtube is one of the largest video viewings on the internet and this was based on the Google search engine globally and based on the Youtube Statistics Marketer, Youtube has gained viewers most likely in US, adults or young people are watching Youtube so I don't think there will be another platform that has a video related to crypto.

Most of the social media networks are also use Youtube as a third party, so I don't think there's another source of video related to crypto.  In fact, we have decentralized Youtube alternative platforms, that are used and based on Youtube and the only platform I had known is Steemit.

Facebook and Twitter social media networks have a short clip but I don't think that's enough to understand the content of the video, so Youtube is suitable enough IMO.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Time To Invest In Low Prices Alt Coins. on: November 08, 2021, 11:59:19 PM
Those who invested shitcoins now are totally gambled their money and seeking profit for the short term isn't good at all, it becomes you may fall into their trap especially if that shitcoin is pump and dump.  I advise having research first if you desperately gamble your money on shitcoin because, IMO, they are not worth enough to put an investment.

I would rather stick on Bitcoin investment, but as of now, Bitcoin was in a crazy increase it could be there's a short correction and that's the right I think to invest.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hold more of my Bitcoin last month and spend some of them, and now look at the price, it pumped too much in just an hour and it could there will be another ATH.

Shitcoins are very risky to invest, think about the consequences before making such a decision.  Maybe top altcoins are considerable to invest in because they are proven and tested.
1693  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 08, 2021, 11:32:04 PM
OP can you start celebrating because the price is now at $66500 and it's just a matter of hours or days for you to have another opportunity to see another ATH and who knows this time the ATH will get higher at around $80,000? who knows, with news like this:

Bitcoin flippens Tesla and Facebook — will Amazon be next?

obviously these are things that will run on all news channels

OMG, I didn't check the price of Bitcoin recently but now it seems it almost create another ATH.  It's possible there are third times?

There's a lot of good things that happen on the market now and I think Bitcoin will keep growing until the end of this year or it could continue until next year.  I don't see anymore that there's a possibility of having a bear market, wherein the green status of the market now.

There's a rumor about Ethereum too that could overtake Bitcoin, I think that's impossible.
1694  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I missed the boat is not new concept.. on: November 08, 2021, 10:54:04 PM
..many times we have heard the line we have missed the boat and found out that this is not a new one as people have been claiming this from the initial days also.
Those days, Bitcoin is still young and didn't have a good reputation in most countries because it's usually involved illegality, cybercrime, or any fraud activities that make Bitcoin become dirty to the eye of the government and the community, it might nobody believe yet on Bitcoin.  After such time they realized it and now they care claiming that they have missed the boat.

I also now think that maybe I already accumulate 1 Bitcoin from earning signature but I didn't feel regret if I sell on that day, because it was probably helped me so much.  Dont blame yourself if have to sell your Bitcoin on an early stage, as long as you have profited on it, that is fine.
1695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newcomer question on: November 08, 2021, 04:25:25 PM
I think to agree above for the non-KYC user to purchase Bitcoin, Bisq and Hodlhodl is the best place, they are decentralized exchanges but I don't know how much the withdrawal speed is.  This might vary on which exchange that you have used, it's better if you will read the TOS before you will proceed because AFAIK, in centralized exchange it take up to 12 hours of waiting, I don't know in P2P platform if how long it will send to your Bitcoin wallet.

A bitcoin transaction so fast depends on the fees you put on it but on an exchange, there are major delays that they only know why, I suggest you ask first or read TOS, it might be stated there.

You can check and trace your transaction through these tools.

1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find these coins? on: November 07, 2021, 11:47:27 PM
So how to spot these coins before they get popular or are listed on big exchanges and are purchaseable at decentrilised exchanges?
That's not easy to spot a good coin but I think from basic research you will have a clue that they are one potential good ICO project that is worth it to put your investment.  There are many factors to consider from whitepaper to roadmap and check their website for that article about ICO, you should also follow ICO reports and research for further information if there's progress and last is the token listing.

IMO, open your eyes to them and you will know which project is good to invest in.  I will not suggest any because I'm not investing in them, I rather focus on Bitcoin or a coin that has been on the top of CMC.
1697  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcointalk Structure on: November 07, 2021, 11:32:50 PM
The thread that you have referred to is outdated, there are some users that you mentioned have been ruined their reputation.

Knight
You might check these few users you have mentioned and have clarification and it's better to have research first or it would be better to think first before you will hit the post button.  Check their profile first.

I don't think what is your purpose/point of this you have called a community same a chess game structure but I don't see any relevance.
1698  Economy / Economics / Re: Firefighters pension fund invests 25$ million in crypto on: November 07, 2021, 11:20:25 PM
Do you agree news like this have a positive impact or are they indifferent in your opinion?
I tend to agree, though it is not give a huge impact at least, it will help Bitcoin that react and will increase the price.
Oh, why?  I heard a lot of good news these days it seems it will trigger to make another new ATH, it might not only twice and I have suspected that there could be another one.

However, this idea might be risky for them if the price goes down and it could also have benefits if the price goes up.  I hope they already understand the word volatile and are ready to face possible consequences ahead.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian Congressman proposes Crypto Payment for workers on: November 07, 2021, 10:58:57 PM
Are you guys hoping for the same to happen in your country?
Not yet a proper regulation but our central bank already recognized Bitcoin as an alternative payment and we're using it now as a payment system, we're both good, cheers!

Another country showing interest towards Bitcoin acceptance, what such a great move to them.  Day by day we saw and heard about acceptance of Bitcoin and it could be in the next day, there's another news stating another country accepting Bitcoin and I think most countries might trigger this.

If people they're in Brazil are oriented very well about Bitcoin, they rather accept Bitcoin than fiat since Bitcoin will give a chance that it will double the value of what you have held.
1700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin run up is coming on: November 06, 2021, 11:59:26 PM
I don't have the balls to buy bitcoin right now.

But if you are balsy... then you now know what to do.

It's up to you, there's no one forcing you to buy Bitcoin right now but don't come here and post regret when Bitcoin hit another ATH this year and the most anticipated about Bitcoin price is to become higher than the $60k plus range.

IMO, there's a lot of good news right now about accepting Bitcoin and I think that will trigger next month to push more the price in the market.

I think the bank is wise enough when it comes to investment and if they will hold Bitcoin and invest, for sure that time Bitcoin is on legal tender.  Plus government was always behind on the back that they should follow government rule, that's how the centralized systems work everything is regulated by them.
