Hello, why would you choose Stellar network? For me and many newcomers it is more complicated user interface than Ethereum has. I understand that for now Stellar is faster and cheaper, but in few months situation could change.  Smiley

I think it is better this way, there is always a first time so I would suggest you try and get yourself acquainted with the stellar network to understand it, i also think it is high time other project start shifting from over congested eth network to other easy and less expensive network in blockchain,

I don't see the point why many projects won't use other network when we have different options available,  eth is killing us with high transaction fees and I don't think it will reduce anytime soon.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT]✅ P2P Cash | The new way of send money worldwide✅ on: September 22, 2020, 03:35:35 AM
Back in previous years burning a coin use to be good and a bit effective in price because some part of the supply are burn reducing the circulating supply and increase price a bit, but burning is no longer effective as it use to, what is most effective now is utility, any project without it won't last that long.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: RFinance (RFI) A New Frontier in The De-Fi Ecosystem on: September 21, 2020, 06:59:02 PM
Any project who is so lazy to the point of copying and plagiarized its content from another project is not worth paying attention to, this is what will be happening because of the taste for Defi project, the trend is hot, people are pumping money into Defi and scammers are taking advantage of it to create scam project, people will get rekt in DeFi if care is not taken.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi project beginning to sounds ridiculous on: September 21, 2020, 06:40:06 PM
With projects like Hotdog coin and the likes doing the rounds, the whole DeFi craze is beginning to look and smell a lot like the ICO bubble a few years ago. Although, i feel that their own acceptance of how ridiculous and scammy it all is is ironically adding to their appeal.
Why do you think this is happening?

No bro, the Defi projects are more ridiculous than the ico bubble, at least during that time they were more sensible project name and concept than what we have in today's Defi trends, all you see this days is yam, sushi and probably egg soon enough, everyone just come up with crap and tag it as DeFi and expect people don't invest, and of course some people will always invest without thinking of the consequences.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 20, 2020, 01:43:17 PM
To stop these bounty scams literally bounty funds should be escrowed by higly reputable escrow regardless if it is coin or token.

We really can’t get away with these scams if we only rely on promises, sometimes even good bounty managers are being scammed too with existing bounty promise system. If projects are really serious with their business, paying advertisers on time should be their priority too.

Totally agree with this, some projects don't usually have the idea of what will become of their fund raising process so conducting a bounty at that time is like taking chances, so in the case when the project succeed more than their expectations they will now develop cold feet, finding it difficult to pay what they have promised hunters, while also in the situation where the project did not succeed to raise funds, some team will still refuse payment since it is worthless to pay in tokens that will never have any value.

In this case, using an escrow is the best option, whatever is the outcome hunters will accept their reward.
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys tackle information overload? on: September 20, 2020, 01:32:51 PM
If you keep up this way you will wear yourself down with too much info and less meaningful, once you have identify the project you find interesting, just head straight to their social media to follow up on all their updates, and if possible join any of their active community and see how active the team members are or how often they visit those community, you can even have a one - on- one chat with the team if possible,

Hearing from the horses mouth is much better because we have different information on the internet with contradicting opinions that will most likely get you confused.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 20, 2020, 12:48:39 PM
Quote
Based on these compelling and indisputable arguments we can safely assume capital will flow into the UNI token. If a project in its early stages can reward its community members so very generously, at a scale in which even the modern day Blue Chips Like MSFT, GOOG, FB or AMZN, with trillion dollar valuations, have never ever done in their long history of selfish capitalism, there is no limits to which the Uniswap project will go to, while rewarding its community members in the future when it becomes more and more stronger financially. Bitcoin and ETH have  a combined marketcap of approximately 245 billion USD and the rest of the lot have another 100 billion USD. Even if 15  to 20 % of this flows into the Governance token of Uniswap, which will be hugely in demand since there are bound to be many players at different levels who will want their bit of controlling stake in such project with enormous financial returns in the future, the price of UNI which will have more buyers and holders, will touch a 1000 dollars in the near future is a definite given. We have not included the fund managers from the world of forex, stocks and commodities, et., who can smell money from anywhere, even if it is 1000 miles away in our analysis. If we include these powerful financial players, the potential price target for UNI should be 5000 USD or more! This being the case, there is absolutely no doubt that UNI will be a Trillion Dollar Crypto Soon!

Some powerful and eye opening points the the above post that made me consider buying uni and hold for long term, honestly this could easily fly just like Link does few days ago, I totally agree with the op, I have never seen such generosity like this one even from the so-called giant companies, all they do is take from you and never give any in return, uniswap have my respect.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 19, 2020, 03:04:05 PM
I don't see how this will get rid of scam project, we have lots of btc paying signature campaigns and yet there are so much scam project around, so an inclusion of social media in btc paying campaign will not reduce anything, besides not all project will hold a btc paying campaign.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 19, 2020, 02:50:27 PM
I think the bigger warning will be for people to stay away from Defi if you are not able to take the consequences that will result in the end, especially those faceless Defi project should be avoided by any means necessary, it seem exit scam is a common trait of new Defi project, creating fake project to scam people.
1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some project managers should be called to order. on: September 19, 2020, 01:34:28 PM
Bounty manager shouldnt really took all the blame. Why? they are just employees too that had been hired up by the project team unless if the said manager is just part of the team then we can really blame them up but excluding those sole managers on this field then they are indeed doing their best for its participants to be paid up.
A part of the project team or not, if the bounty manager accept to manage the scam project... he's wrong. And if bounty hunters keep promoting the scam project, they also wrong too.
There're a bunch scam project who start bounty program, both bounty manager and bounty hunters should determine and do own research first before joining.

Regarding if he only had been hired by the project team, bounty manager actually can easily reject the bounty if it's scam.

Maybe you can share more light on the type of research hunters should probably embark on before joining a bounty, a proven research you can suggest that have worked 100% and can guarantee hunters will make the right decision and determine outrightly from the research that the bounty will most definitely pay,
Yeah, I will be glad to hear such super research...
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 18, 2020, 09:17:02 AM
Yeah and am kicking myself for not having this opportunity, I heard it yesterday and I thought it was fake news, even though I have not yet use the exchange to trade but some of my friends confirmed to have received as well, this is the best gift so far from any project, I can't believe their generosity towards their users, Amazing.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]FORESIGHT(FORS)-We Are Bringing Insurance To DeFi on: September 18, 2020, 09:10:58 AM
To all of your questions guys here is the answers from the project’s owner

“Team-related questions are one of the most common ones we get (understandably).

We're certainly very keen to go public with our identities in the near future. We’ve already done so with exchanges and legal teams we’re working with. The main issue at the moment delaying this is that a couple of the team members feel it would be a conflict of interest with their current careers. However, once they can move to working on Foresight fulltime they will likely go public. We have discussed whether some of us (likely myself and our CMO) could go public and leave the others private, and this is a very real possibility.

We are aware of the effect being private can have on a project (we're cryptocurrency investors too, after all). It is for this reason we have endeavoured to be as transparent as possible when it comes to other aspects of the project - not only answering whatever questions the community has but also locking all exchange liquidity and locking 45% of our total supply in a vesting period out to two years. In the meantime, we encourage investors to look at the partnerships we have formed (eg. DEXTools, Ferrum, DistX). We’ve had close dealings with their teams, including phone calls, so they’ve come to know us, and I don’t believe they would risk the reputation of their projects if they didn’t trust us.

A good example of this career conflict issue we heard about recently was of a friend who works for a French bank and was fired when they found her logged into Bittrex on her laptop.”

Let me know if you have more questions about it Smiley I’m happy to ask the team about it and give you there answers. Have a good day!

If you do then you won't bother coming out in the fist time as anonymous team, this is one of my major criteria to determine if I will pick up an interest on a project, immediately the team remain anonymous I stayed a mile away, if bounty hunters can be requested for an identification I don't see why a project to whom I will entrust my money by means of investing will choose to remain anonymous, and the excuse of btc founder is anonymous doesn't work anymore.

It was almost 3 dol now is tanking every day.
What is going on

Not only Dia is tanking but other projects as well, everything is depend upon the market demand, for now most coins/tokens are all experiencing a fall in price, I believe Dia is among the few good project so no need to worry, all you need is a bag full of patience because you are gonna need it.

staking rewards, like seeing a delicious pizza, usually investors who have a lot of money are interested in a project like this, but I want to read more about this project, let's see what's interesting there, it looks like the team does not have clear profile information

I see no reason why this project would stimulate any interest from the wider community. As far as I can see, the only thing they have presented so far is a plain website (which, by the way, they didn't even design themselves but used a ready-made template with minimal modifications), one ugly logo, some png graphics and a few trendy words like DEX, STAKING and DAO.
Don't forget to include Defi somewhere. Oh, wait ... here it is:

On the other hand we have: a non-existent whitepaper, a hidden (fake) team with no previous references, a fake roadmap, a domain registered a month ago, and absolutely no media coverage at all.

And, some serious questions asked by members before me still remain ignored which is another big red flag for me.

You really have made a critical analysis about the project and made some vital point very open to those investors who don't know what exactly to look out for, most defi project have their team members known but here I don't get the need for anonymity, is it really necessary! I think if I were to be an investor I would be concerned about the anonymity of the team.

DIA is one of my favorite tokens, of course I will never miss the opportunity to join this competition and get more DIA.
just adding details from the competition https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-dia-listing-campaign-trading-haven?utm_source=DIA
Come on, Mate, don't waste your chance Wink Smiley
Good luck friends and good luck, his price is currently still decreasing I think this is an opportunity to buy and hold, the highest price is fantastic, can it happen again in your opinion?

Ofcourse bro there is a huge chance that it will grow even more, dia is a newly launched project that has enough room to grow both in price and project development, there is no doubt it my mind that this project will not experience a huge growth in price in near future, all that is required is some patience, it won't happen overnight but it will definitely happen.

By the way Cryptobharat token allows paying online bills, ticketing booking and mobile recharge services. All of this can be very useful in our days

yes, thats will be useful buddy
but if people accepting this altcoin for daily used, an i think the key is marketing,
if this project can do a good marketing strategy, for sure this project will be huge

A lot of alts have the mission to be accepted in the payment sector. However, they failed mostly in attracting merchants to be on board. From their roadmap, I haven't seen any item focusing on how to get those companies utilize this coin for payment. Because as much as possible, they should start collaborating with local merchants about this payment and as early as possible, introduce their coin in their system. Because without those potential commercial partners, the project will just end up in trading.

You are right, many alts aspire to provide this payment service to the people using a crypto card but unfortunately it is not that simple, the process of getting a license from card issuers is much harder and is the major reason why projects who had the same ambition where unable to fulfill it, any project who could do this successfully will be at the top, let's hope they are able to fulfill their promises.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: FACT FINANCE - Bringing TRUE DeFi to the Industry! on: September 04, 2020, 07:09:08 AM
@OP are you really an investor in this half-baked Defi project or you are just being paid to post this ann thread! Because I see the other ann thread of weed finance and you have same disclaimer on it, well it is a good thing you warn people about the risk and they should learn to do research,
It is really funny how we have many projects in decentralize finance this days, it seems they are in a mission to fix our broken financial system  Smiley

I did not expect a Binance listing so soon, from the looks of things it seems the Binance announcement didn't carry the expected hype that usually comes along with any Binance listing announcement that normally triggers a huge price pump, but all the same, all in due time. Congrats to dia for yet another achievement.
