761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: November 18, 2021, 01:55:34 PM
I don't think it is realistic for meme coins to rule the world, I don't even know what gives you that idea, you already know what meme coins stand for, even though some of them are trying hard to have use case, most people them are still mostly base on hype, how long will this hype last is uncertain so in this regard I won't place my trust on them because major are not building anything to reflect what the project proclaim.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Fantom done? on: November 18, 2021, 01:39:16 PM
Fantom is dropping these days. It seems that it is dropping to zero soon. Many people think that fantom is done. Fantom is dropping to zero soon. Do you agree?

It is the normal way of thinking when the price is dropping, ftm had pumped a lot in the last few days, I see this period as correction time, I can understand your position because maybe you assume the correction should be done by now, but ftm still dipping, am also an investor of this project and right now my portfolio is down -39% and I not thinking of selling it, I know it will bounce back, patience my brother.
763  Economy / Services / Re: [Open][Signature Campaign] Crosswise Finance | Legendary & Hero | $85 Per Week | on: November 17, 2021, 09:46:06 AM

Received, it is always a pleasure hanging with you, thanks.
764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the Deep (Bitcoin). on: November 17, 2021, 08:34:18 AM
Always good to buy the dip, bought a few as well, not even close to what you bought though, and am also waiting to see if it will dip more to take another entry, (a good friend told me never buy at once, always take 3 entry) I heard there is a possibility of btc dipping to 55k before the next run, am not sure how accurate that is but I will take my chances. Congrats.
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Veterans and Legendaries: Need Advice on my Bitcoin Strategy on: November 17, 2021, 05:52:32 AM
What do you guys think about my strategy?  Huh Huh

Lol.

A person who has supposedly "accidentaly" made over half a million dollars and not only openly discusses it on a forum but also and asks for advice, like a begginer who asks for advise on how to invest $200.

Are you part of some European royalty?

My advice. If you don't need that money, invest it in Bitcoin and forget about it for at least 4 years. If you are so nervous and have sold early, you probably need that money more than you think, and you shouldn't invest so much.

A newbie can hit millions in a first time investment that doesn't give them the experience of someone who has been in crypto for years, perhaps this is the @op first investment at the time the market was bullish and he got lucky,
there is a difference between being lucky and having experience overtime, same situation the @op is going through happened to a close friend, he made a good amount back in 2017 but lack of experience made him lose it all, maybe if he had sought advice from experienced folks he would have made a better decision.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT a trustable? on: November 15, 2021, 10:06:49 PM
Better to be safe than sorry, there has been some rumours about the transparency of usdt, the team are not very open about the project, for you not to constantly worry about your funds safely if your intention is long term hold, better to use Dai as suggested by other members,
But if it is just for quick transfer of funds, there should not be a problem.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get in early on certain alts? What's your source.. on: November 15, 2021, 06:20:54 PM
Some great projects don't make announcements here in the forum so tracking them down to get in early will require you to access this information from different sources, like icodrops, coinlist, cmc, or follow great crypto enthusiasts on Twitter, (these are ones I know) getting in a good project early is better if you are opportune to hear about it at the early stage, the return of investment if things go well for the project is massive.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best decentralized stablecoin? on: November 15, 2021, 06:07:39 PM
Any reason why you are not feel safe if holding USDT, USDC or BUSD ? i think it's just the same risk if you're holding the decentralized one too. The price won't be so different, it's just based on US dollars, and it think USDT has the biggest trading volume of all crypto right now which means it's the safest in my opinion.

The problem is not about the difference in price, it is about having a truly decentralized stablecoin to store your asset, all centralized stablecoins like usdt have some risk using them since they are centralized and the owners have a big advantage over the project, already usdt have some controversy surrounding it,  better he looks for a good alternative now.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are people already making low Ethereum gas fee transfers due to EIP-1559? on: November 15, 2021, 11:00:39 AM
Well am not sure if the above shot is applicable in the current state of eth fees since it has also being a while i made any transfer using eth network, but according to Gweifications app i install on my device, the gas price is still at ...
speed   gas price   txn fee
Fast -      101        $10.05
Average     96         $9.55
Safe low    94         $9.35
and don't forget gas price for sending eth and tokens are different, this doesn't seem low to me.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: cant sell $squid token.. is it scam? on: November 15, 2021, 10:46:13 AM
Squid Game Crypto Creators Steal Millions in Rug Pull. Here's How to Avoid Scams
"Squid Game" crypto coin promoters vanish with investor millions in "rug pull" scam
'Rug-pull scam' | How SQUID Game Crypto Plummeted From $2,800/per Coin To Zero In 5 Mins

People doesnt really learn until they do bust and wrekt up with these scams.
Rugpull is very common  if you arent that keen on looking on how funds are being
allocated.

The issue is, aside from people here in forum who perhaps have invested in the project, there are several people out there who are not members of this forum who also fall into this squid token hype, people like that will not have the opportunity to check this links and sadly many people don't do research before jumping into pump and dump,
some people buy this token because their friends or family introduce them, others buy because of the advert online, different ways people fomo into scam projects bro, only those who are lucky to be in this forum can have access to all this warning information.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The BNB gas fee will increase as price keep appreciating on: November 14, 2021, 03:38:06 PM
It is highly unlikely that bnb tx fees will ever be as high as eth gas fees, remember bsc was launched at the time eth was over the roof and the crypto community were desperately looking for an alternative, I believe bsc was design in a way that even if bnb prise increases the tx fees will still remain low, so I wouldn't worry about that.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: November 14, 2021, 03:11:00 PM
Financial stability to me is being at that level where you can afford more than your basic needs, a position where you will be able to enjoy some good things in life without having to worry about your account balance, that includes having a steady income stream or having some valuable investment that generates a reasonable amount of income,  it also means you work less and still very financially sound.
773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: November 14, 2021, 06:05:16 AM
I wouldn't know how to put it in a simple term for a beginner to get it without much confusion, because in my case, I discovered btc and crypto in general on my own with constant research and reading online,
For a newbie to quickly grasp and understand btc, there must be a willingness to research personally, it will make whatever explanation given by someone else to sink in quickly,
Am not a good teacher hence the emphasis on self research which is the best approach to understanding btc and crypto easily.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: November 14, 2021, 05:56:01 AM
Quote
"A currency in the most specific sense is money in any form when in use or circulation as a medium of exchange, especially circulating banknotes and coins. A more general definition is that a currency is a system of money in common use, especially for people in a nation. Wikipedia"

According to Wikipedia, I think the definition above about a currency somehow explains btc to some extent, it may not be widely accepted as the real fiat currency but it is getting accepted in some places, so I believe it is safe to consider btc as a currency.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Time to create a new source of income on: November 13, 2021, 03:40:56 PM
It sounds like a copycat of axie infinity, axie is a successful gaming coin certainly other upcoming projects would want to copy the name to gain attention, gaming projects will be huge, right now they are just getting started, many of the gaming projects don't have a playable game yet, imagine when they are fully developed!
I am holding some gaming tokens too and so far am happy with the results.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter CFO - Twitter to allow tips in crypto on: November 13, 2021, 07:01:52 AM
Don't tell me soon we will be seeing a Twitter coin  Grin, is there a possibility for that! Because the CFO seems to be very crypto-friendly and I can't help but wonder if this is something that has crossed his mind at some point, seeing how Facebook has crossed over perhaps Twitter maybe nursing the same thoughts,
Anyways the idea is good, but I hope it won't be abused, it is certainly a fine way for crypto adoption.
777  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that Mt Gox funds are going to get released? on: November 13, 2021, 06:53:21 AM
Well, thanks for the heads up, am not aware of this, it could be a possibility if such an amount of btc were released to the victims, except just what @mk4 said, only compensation to the victims would be made, otherwise, it is something to be worried about,
Could it be the reason for this dip! Perhaps people are already reacting to the news, just wondering.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 1000 DEXT coins... how do I upgrade my account? on: November 13, 2021, 03:59:19 AM
Have you connected your metamask to the dextool app! If so then there is a subscription fee I think that is required to be paid to enable premium features,  I just connect my metamask and I see below where it says "your wallet does not have active subscription" there is a wallet where 170 dex needs to be sent to, have you taken this steps already? Maybe this is what is required, I haven't done it I only connect my mm so am not sure.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 12, 2021, 06:34:05 PM
Probably the many useless alts being created on a daily basis will die off for more sound projects that truly offer a good service to exist,
It is possible the market can crash at any time and it is also equally possible the market will be strong even more judging by the number of positive news happening, these are tough questions no one has an answer to but as a member of the crypto community you should always be prepared for anything, the market can take a different turn unexpectedly.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some high-quality, legit projects that are under $0.10? on: November 12, 2021, 05:38:58 PM
If this bull will actually happen the way many people have been speculating about it, there is a chance Many of these newly launched projects will definitely rise in price especially the game related projects, am reading very interesting news about game projects and how big they will be in near future,
The market even makes it much easier to get in, so @op I will advise you to include some metaverse projects out, this is the latest trend now and it is going to be huge soon.
