1681  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 06, 2022, 03:39:39 AM
~~
I guess this varies from country to country as some countries had already experienced a ton of inflation for the past years, yet the minimum wage has not been changed ever since to cope up with all the price increases that happened. It is not always the government's fault however there are some where they are such as on my country. If in any case, they won't be able to change or increase the wages of workers, then they should focus on controlling and minimizing the effect of inflation on the country.

Increasing the minimum wage may not always be the best choice but at least make it proportional to the workload given to each and every worker. Some companies set minimum wage on their job, but it isn't proportional to the workload assigned to it.

It is not proportional in your eyes but it is proportional to the business owner. You have to understand that in order to keep your business afloat, a business needs to consider a thousand different factors, not just worrying about employee pay.

If an employee is in trouble, the company can help them, but when the company is in trouble, on the verge of bankruptcy, will any employee accept that he will work to support the company, such as For example, he will work for 1 to 2 months without pay to help the company overcome difficulties. I bet you they will run away immediately when they hear the company is in trouble so the company must always make the right calculation to keep their business afloat.

It is really difficult to come up with a complete solution for your business and your employees, if the company does not meet your needs and you are confident that you deserve more than you are getting. You should find a better company instead of blaming them.

An important victory for Darmstadt. They are now undefeated for 14 games and showing that they want to and are able to move up. But unfortunately for Hannover the game was already over after 30 minutes. But they showed a great job in the defence after the red card. They can build on that.

Actually, the match was supposed to be over for Hannover after the red card, but they have shown great resilience in this match and also the penalty save was a great mental boost for them.

But eventually, they were not able to win. I do think that the goalkeeper should have done better because that is a type of goal any goalkeeper would not want to concede. And they were actually doing very well defensively. Had that not gone in I think the match could have actually ended in a draw even though it was very close fight from the 30th minute of the match.
1683  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: November 05, 2022, 12:43:13 PM
Moral education is the key to stopping corruption, currently many countries make departments or institutions to control corruption, but the cost for these institutions is very large and the result is that corruption is not reduced, but if the state has a long -term plan, it must be taught from an early age.

In my opinion, there will be no effective way to prevent corruption. Today, corruption in schools is bigger than any other profession, achievement disease...even the principal and teachers are corrupt, who will teach the children?

Corruption only stops when everyone has a dream life, which means that society will be equal, no longer distinguish between rich and poor, no longer compete with each other, and have full amenities for everyone...but this will never happen, so corruption never goes away.

Being an employee is unavoidable especially if you're trying to put food in the table for your family, or even for yourself, and greedy companies take this as an advantage making their employees taken for granted while gaining only stress, depression, and other emotional sickness.

As an employee, you will always be under a lot of pressure even being seen as exploitative but it is inevitable and should not be blamed entirely on the government or the company. Instead, use it as a motivation to help yourself find a way to overcome yourself, the more difficult it is, the more you have to fight if you want to have a better life. Successful people or our bosses, to get to where they are today, they have had to go through hundreds of such hardships. If it's society, don't expect justice, if you want to get rid of it, try harder.

Most of the wealthy people are greedy, who wants more money by giving a lot of work loads on their employees with their lower than minimum wage. I think the first one should act is the Government, for the company owners to change this very awful behavior since the beginning. Government should increase the minimum wage because we're in the era where everything is expensive.

Increase of minimum wage is not the solution. If you keep increasing minimum wage it only will lead into more inflation. The government need to have a strategic plan to build more industries so that there will be choice of work to choose from and people who are skilled and qualified will be properly enumerated and won't have need to keep jumping from one job to the other and get under paid.

Exactly, commodity prices increase and if the government raises wages to balance people's living standards, it will cause faster inflation. That's why many blame the government for not taking any decision to force companies to raise wages for workers.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 05, 2022, 11:59:38 AM
Barcelona have an impressive record against Almeria, the Blaugrana have won ten of the last 12 matches played between the two teams, two of which ended in a draw. The condition of the Barcelona players who are ready to fight has no difficulty getting a victory from Almeria, especially when against Almeria will be the last match for Pique. There must be a different spirit from Barcelona players in this match. The players clearly want to give their best as a farewell gift to one of the Barcelona legends.
Barcelona really need to win this game and they should see it as a crucial match, Because they are out of the Champions League competition, I didn't expect them to leave so early despite their ups and downs, therefore I really don't see much reason why not focus on the league, and at least do their best in order to take this season's trophy. Currently they're only 1 point behind their league leaders Real Madrid and getting a win will keep them close in the title race.
For Barcelona, winning is a target that must be achieved. Xavi will certainly present the victory as an ideal farewell gift for Pique. Although playing with a team like Almeria, the Blaugrana will certainly reduce their best strength to realize their target.
In addition, Barcelona will also look at this match as a solace because they have been confirmed to have been eliminated from the Champions League. Yes. Three important points will also be needed by Barcelona to continue to stick closely to Real Madrid and of course La Liga will be Xavi's priority.

Barcelona should be able to win this match against Almeria. Actually, it does not matter if Barcelona is facing some challenging opponent or not, they will have to win every single match. They will also have to hope that Real Madrid loses a few.

Otherwise, Barcelona is not going to be able to get back to the first position on the table. Currently, they are one point behind Real Madrid, but I don’t think it will be easy for them to even make up that one point. So, Barcelona cannot afford to lose even one. At least if they want to stay in the title race.

Has anyone had the same fate?

Cheesy

It was a home match for Udinese who on paper will win easily because their opponent Lecce is only at the bottom of the standings, after four matches without a win I think this will be the right moment for Udinese to win again.
But unfortunately, my guess was wrong because actually I still understand the draw and lost in the previous four matches, because at the beginning Udinese got that draw when Udinese played against Atalanta and then Lazio which I think their quality is also good.

Udinese who were previously in the top four if I'm not mistaken, I think they will be able to regain their best form but again and again they still can't win.
Therefore, Udinese can't compete in the top six for much longer and I have already said that Udinese is indeed one of the teams that will be struggling in the middle of the standings throughout the season and it will happen again now.

I really would not say that Udinese was unlucky. Because I believe it was Lecce who was actually unlucky in that match. They were denied by the bar twice if I am not wrong.

Other than that both teams had really reasonable chances to close out the match with a full three points. But both teams failed to do so.

I have to give credit to both goalkeepers. Especially the goalkeeper of Lecce. He defended some really good chances that Udinese created. This is a really disgraceful performance from Udinese. They have failed to win any of their last five matches. This is a team that has shown a lot of promise. At the moment, they are not showing consistent performances. The outcome was favorable for Lecce because all they are trying to do right now is stay out of the relegation zone.

friday at 18:30 it will be really interesting. darmstadt 98 vs. hannover 96. both teams want to get into the first bundesliga.
whoever wins this game will stay on top. and on saturday i hope that heidenheim will get or win at least one point against paderborn.
that would be good for the hamburger sv who will hopefully get another important 3 points against regensburg on sunday.
it will be three exciting days in the 2.bundesliga. there are really several very interesting games this weekend ........

Yes, these are really exciting games. And very important for the teams. These are important points to continue to fight for the promotion places. Darmstadt and Hamburger SV have the opportunity to score more than 30 points. That means they can hardly be relegated.  Wink Cheesy Hamburger SV has the easier game on paper. But the boys have to show that on the field.

Darmstadt 98 vs. Hannover 96

The match is going on right now, and Darmstadt is ahead by one goal in this match. 79 minutes have been played in this match and Hannover is playing with only 10 men since the 30th minute of the match. That’s what has given Darmstadt a big advantage in this match. I think Darmstadt is staying in the first position even after this match because it seems to be late, it is going to be a win for them.

Do you think the Tesla CEO made the right move by firing these top people in the company?

What are your thoughts?

He is the Owner and he knows what is good for His company , Elon had been in the same business for how many years now, he will never become  Multi Billionaire for nothing.

What he decides is whats best for twitter , so Sorry for the kicked Bosses meaning they don't get what the Owners wanted  for his company.

Congrats  to Elon Musk for Having twitter now.

Although I don't like how he manipulates the doge for his own gain but it is undeniable that he is a very talented person and holds the position of the richest person in the world at a relatively young age compared to other billionaires. I don't know if those who are criticizing or disparaging him, have done anything as he did. If can't be better than him, don't criticize him, it's a sign of envy. I also believe he will do better than previous owners did, Twitter will be like Tesla or Spacex will grow bigger.

5. Yea bitcoin definitely has been doing great in the recent inflationary economy  /s
In a way bitcoin price has been performing very well. If you think about it, when the invasion began the global economy started crashing. Bitcoin crashed too. But bitcoin crash ended in first week of June whereas the world economy continued dumping. In other words in the past 5 months despite all the inflation most of the world is experiencing, bitcoin price has been relatively stable.

There is no doubt that bitcoin is doing better than any other asset during this time of economic crisis. Bitcoin has also fallen as inflation and crises have begun to hit us, but over time as things continue to plummet, but bitcoin is proving itself to be a more stable asset. Yesterday when the Fed announced interest rates at 0.75%, the stock market immediately continued to plunge but meanwhile, bitcoin was not volatile and still trading above $20k.

Source: @HiveBlockchain

For the first time in history, bitcoin has a more stable value than US stocks, I don't think there will be an asset class that can be more volatile than bitcoin Cheesy Cheesy

Atletico Madrid really surprised most of us last week by a 3-2 Cadiz loss. I assume they would like to make up for this against Espanyol this week. They got a big hit in the Champions League also like finishing the group at the last position. Maybe their morale might be down a little in this game but they don't have any other choice than focusing on their La Liga games.
Athletico Madrid are disappointing, it may be time for Diego Simeone to go, i don't think he can take Athletico Madrid to any new height again, he has done very well for them, winning La Liga titles and playing in champions league finals, but i think he has given his best to the team, and his style is no longer effective and many teams can now face it easily. They finished last in their group, a group that was kind of weak, and should have been easy for them to qualify from, it is a bad time to be a fan of Athletico Madrid, and i think it is a good time for the management to thank Diego for his great time with them and hire a manager that will do things differently and bring a new style to the club.

The loss to Cadiz was really unexpected. They really shouldn’t have lost that match. Cadiz is still in the relegation zone. Losing against a team like that is a big disrespect for Atletico Madrid in my opinion. In last match, they also came up short against Porto in the Champions League. As a result, they finished as the last team in group B of the Champions League, which, in my opinion, was an easy group.

It feels like whatever Atletico Madrid does is not working. There is something that really needs to be changed in this situation. Honestly, I am not sure if a change of authority is going to work for them or not. Having said that, I think it is worth a try at this point in time. Although I wonder if they will be able to do that this season as at least they are in third place in the La Liga table at the moment. What if a change of authority makes them drop down from that position as well?
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 10:19:39 AM
Australia VS Afghanistan

After winning the toss, the Afghanistan captain decided to field. And the bowlers have been able to perform their duties properly. Australia set a target of just 168 runs in 20 overs. Australia's batting line-up is strong. I thought Australia would give a target of at least 180+. Although Australia started the innings well, their batting in the last 4 overs was very poor. Australia collected only 25 runs in the last 4 overs. At least 40 runs should have been collected in the last 4 overs.

Afghanistan bowlers Farooqi, Naveen, and Rashid Khan performed very well. Due to the responsible bowling of these three bowlers, they were able to restrict Australia to 168 runs. 168 is not a very big target. If Afghanistan's top-order batsmen play well in this match, Afghanistan has a chance to win.

It is a big target that Australia has set. Afghanistan needs 169 runes. There has already been one wicket lost by them.

As of right now, they have played 15 balls and have also scored 15 runs. As of now, the required rate is well over eight. To be precise, the number is 8.83, which is almost nine per over. To be honest, I don't think Afghanistan will be able to achieve that goal.

You also said that 168 is not a very big number to aim for. But I have to disagree with you because Afghanistan does not have a decent batting lineup that can be able to score 168 runs against Australia.
1692  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 03, 2022, 07:49:35 AM
Commission job work will help us be more active and positive at work as well as more responsible for our life because to achieve our goal, we have to work continuously. Unlike commission jobs, basic salary jobs give us a stable life, less competition and you hardly have to worry too much about your life. Both have pros and cons, depending on the preferences that each person will choose the job they love and suitable for their personality, it is impossible to say which is better than the other.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which play to earn and Metaverse project do you think will dominate in future on: November 03, 2022, 07:20:32 AM
Between Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Apecoin which one do you think it's worth buying for long term hold? Also if you are ask to name your one to five play to earn with the metaverse project which ones will you pick?

these 3 coins are no longer profitable, i will not choose any of them. my opinion at this point we should focus on bitcoin and the top coins would be better as they are likely to recover after the bear market is over. as for trends like p2e, gamefi, metaverse... it's still unclear what their future will be and it is likely that they will be replaced by new trends in the market. now let's focus on layer 1 and layer 2 projects, they have more potential for growth.
In a bear market you are saying that some coins are no longer profitable, what do you expect? Apecoin has a lot of potential and it will survive this bear market, if you buy now the price won't be the same in a bull market, there are some cool metaverse projects that could 100x in next bull market like.

Iluvium, Star Atlas, Metahero and Everdome.

Surviving in a bear market does not mean that the coin will recover and grow in the future. There will be a lot of coins that will survive this bear season but how much will recover, that is the question we need to know if we invest now. For me, apart from bitcoin and ethereum, investing in any project from now on is very risky, the return is not high but the risk is high.

About the metaverse, many say its hype is over but there are also many who believe it is just getting started and could be the next trend. These are all speculations, so it is impossible to say that the projects you mentioned will be profitable, let alone x100 here.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: November 02, 2022, 09:33:49 PM

I heard those rumors from China, and also about stopping paying for oil in dollars to pay in that supposed new Chinese currency, which could well be the CBDC. Searching the internet I see this:

Russia, China may be preparing new gold-backed currency, but expert assures US dollar 'safest' currency today

Whatever the expert says, as he will probably be biased, I will not comment on it.
This has been going on for a long time, countries including Russia, China, India, South Africa, Brazil have established the BRICS bloc and they are using the currencies of these 4 countries for internal transactions in the bloc instead of using USD and it is known that they are also planning to create a new currency to completely replace USD in the future.

One of the things I find interesting about gold is that it is very convenient for storing and transporting medium quantities. Bitcoin can be used for both medium and very large amounts. There is nothing better to transfer $1B quickly from NY to Warsaw for example. But having a few thousand $ in gold or even tens of thousands does not occupy, does not weigh much and you can carry it in a suitcase.

What you say is not wrong, if using bitcoin to replace gold in the case of payment and storage, it will save a lot of time and costs. But with bitcoin's volatility, countries won't easily accept it as an alternative to gold. They are in need of a stable asset that does not depreciate and gold is a perfect choice in this case.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 02, 2022, 09:14:44 PM

You are confusing economical crisis and recession words. Just because there is an economical crisis doesn't mean there is recession. Recession means less money in the markets, and less jobs available and many other "lack of mony in the world" problem, we are having that because of high fed interest rates.

I also read all the above answers and didn't see people mention the difference between crisis and recession, I think we're just in an economic crisis, not in a recession yet, these two are not the same although there are many similarities. Like the US economy, they had 2 negative growth quarters, in theory they were in recession, but GDP growth in the 3rd quarter could be said to have not entered a recession. The Fed's continued high interest rate hikes will affect the global economy and if they extend the high interest rates into 2023 then I think we will soon enter a real recession.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 02, 2022, 07:42:14 PM
It is really strange with Leverkusen. In the Champignons League they still make it into the Europa League with a draw and will spend the winter time there. But in the Bundesliga things are not going well at all. The next game is against Union Berlin. Lerverkusen will not get 3 points in this game either. Union Berlin's team spirit is so stable at the moment.
Leverkusen has been the team that surprised me the most this season. They are playing very badly compared to last year's Leverkusen, they can't score any points in the league. They only won 2 games in 12 weeks, I never thought they could perform so badly.
I don't think the team can be successful in Europe with this football. They won points in the last game and placed 3rd in the group, they might not even have made it Smiley

Leverkusen is not doing well in the Bundesliga at all. Currently, they are ranked 16th in the table, which is far from a favorable position for them. There is actually a possibility that they might be relegated if things do not get better. However, I do expect them to improve their position. It is important to realize that this type of performance has been coming on consistently from them for the past few seasons, especially in the Bundesliga. I don't know when they will actually be able to improve their performance.

The way they are playing in the Champions League also does not feel very comfortable, to be honest. I don't think they will be able to go to the next round in the Champions League.

Paul Pogba made some mistakes when he first discovered that he will undergo some kind of surgery, he never wanted to undergo the surgery so that he will be able to play in the World Cup. I took to Twitter to advise him that it will be better he undergoes surgery so that he could heal before the World Cup but it's quite unfortunate that he was told he cannot manage it to the World Cup that is why he went for the surgery who knows he could also be available for the World Cup. I have not read recent information about his injury status in any social media blog. I hope he is fine. It is Kante that was confirmed to miss the World Cup.
On the one hand Paul Pogba wanted to make his best contribution and passed suggestions for surgery but in the end Paul Pogba still couldn't contribute to the world cup later because of his injury, this is not a mistake for Paul Pogba because he really wants to keep playing football even though his condition is in pain, we have to look at it from that side to give appreciation to Paul Pogba because it is very difficult to do that.
The French national team will really miss the services of Paul Pogba who has been very influencial in their midfield his absence is a big blow to their the World Cup campaign, my personal observation is that Pogba always play and shines in his national colours than at the club, I am disappointed that Ngolo Kante will also miss the tournament, it's very obvious this will surely affect their team, though there are other top quality players who can play their roles, however I am very sure this two injured players would have made huge impact on the team, unfortunately injury had hindered their participating in the Mundial.

I think this is going to greatly affect the performance of the French national team. These two players can contribute a lot to the team.

I don't know if you guys remember but in the UEFA Nations League, France did not do very well. I know that players don't actually care about the UEFA Nations League. But the performance of France was really terrible. Too bad to be overlooked in my opinion. And now Pogba and Kante are not going to be able to play in the world cup which is going to make the midfield area of France a little weak. Pogba's departure was probably a suspicion, but losing Kante is truly tragic.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 01, 2022, 09:26:52 PM
The match was quite exciting presented in this case because indeed both teams played a good game from the start of the match.
Padeborn clearly didn't expect any mistakes and made a splash from the start but the comeback from Hamburger was excellent as well.
They were quite balanced actually but in the end Bennes' goal was decisive here.
The last 2 defeats kept them on hold but with this win there is clearly a bit of hope left considering their points are currently quite a bit in the gap.
Yes, I also don't think that Hamburger can win in away matches against top-ranked rivals, even though Hamburger previously lost twice in a row against teams at the bottom of the table and lost by a big score. But indeed, it is not a guarantee that these results will happen again when they play against competing teams in the standings, because usually when they play against competing teams in the standings they will play better and cases like this have often happened too.
But for Paderborn, it is clear that they have higher pressure, because in the next match Paderborn must play away against a rival team that is right below him in the standings and only has a gap of two points with Heidenheim. Therefore, considering the results that have occurred so far I don't think there is a strong guarantee for Paderborn to win the match, because I think this match will end in a draw.
But even so, I'm sure their position in the standings will not have a big change for the next matchday, because with their points still very close, of course it will be natural that they will still take turns to overtake. But for Darmstadt and Hamburger it looks like Hamburger does have a better chance, at least to take over the top spot for the time being for a result on matchday 15.

Paderborn is certainly playing well. As well as that, it is also true that they are certainly under pressure because at the same time they will have to worry about the teams below them. In addition, they will have to worry about getting enough points to compete for the first position in the table.

In the next match, they are scheduled to play against Heidenheim. That is obviously not going to be easy at home for them. If they are able to win this match they will have an easy one after that against Armenia.

Well. It really was nice while it lasted. Trusted both Union and Freiburg in Europa, was let down on a big acca by Freiburg.

And then final roll of the dice for them in today's brace of games... And then Gladbach remember how to play football ha ha.

Of course, I also say this hoping Union turn around the corner in the next 20 mins...

In the end, Union Berlin were able to turn the match around and win it. Even so, they had to hang on till the 97th minute in order to make sure that they were likely to win. In fact, I am still hopeful about Union Berlin giving Bayern Munich a tough fight for the title this season. However, I am not so sure that they will actually be able to accomplish that, but I still have some hope that they will. It is at least encouraging to know that they are still in the first position in the table.
