Just for reference, how much would a 1GB RAM, 5GB storage, 1TB BW, 2 CPU cores, 1 IPv4 address be?

was able to make my posts back - and no i didn't just spam it up. i also added an add in my personal text box. it is an unpaid ad that is not in my signature - i added it because they gave me amazing customer service. if this is not acceptable i will remove it, but i feel i owed it to them. they treated me very very well.
You still have until tomorrow. He will now start paying on Mondays.
Edit: Nevermind - misread.
1725  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiRat - inmates bet on rat races on: September 01, 2013, 12:01:05 AM
I don't know how to compute the odds of the things i mentioned above.

If someone can help me with that it will be great.

A mathematical formula will be most welcomed
A level 1 rat has a random speed of 10-31
A level 2 rat has a random speed of 10-32
A level 3 rat has a random speed of 10-33
A level 4 rat has a random speed of 10-34
A level 5 rat has a random speed of 10-35
A level 6 rat has a random speed of 10-36

Example of one race:

1 lvl 1: The difference between maximum and minimum speeds: 21
1 lvl 2: The difference between maximum and minimum speeds: 22
1 lvl 3: The difference between maximum and minimum speeds: 23
1 lvl 4: The difference between maximum and minimum speeds: 24
1 lvl 5: The difference between maximum and minimum speeds: 25
Total: 115

Now, divide the difference between min and max speeds by the total and multiply it by 100.
21 / 115 * 100 = 18.3%
22 / 115 * 100 = 19.1%
23 / 115 * 100 = 20.0%
24 / 115 * 100 = 20.9%
25 / 115 * 100 = 21.7%

Of course, this would be different depending on the actual level of the rats. For example, in a race with one lvl 1 rat and 4 lvl 5 rats, the level 1 would have 17.3% chances of winning and the rest of them would have 20.7% chances of winning.

A race with all of the rats being the same level would obviously give each one 20% chance of winning, so you can use that to see if your rat is above or below average. I don't think it really matters that much, though.

It is actually pay-per-hour, it is simply displayed as pay-per-day for... eh... "Simplicity's sake." Or so I had thought.

So if I put 0.01 in "Minimum Bid", people have to pay at least 0.01 per hour?

Scratch that, check my edit.
1735  Economy / Services / Re: Website Preview: BITADS.NET. Now Pay-Per-Day! on: August 29, 2013, 01:28:47 AM
So, is this really pay per day now?

On the Create Adspace page, PLEASE clarify this input:

Minimum Bid

Make it say something like:

Minimum Bid (per hour)
or
Minimum Bid (per day)
or
Minimum Bid (per square inch)

Or whatever is correct. As it stands now, this input is vague to newcomers like myself who am not sure what the number I input there really represents.

EDIT: Hang on, I didn't read that carefully. I actually have no idea, good question.

This sound really good and it kind of does make sense. Any idea of how much this double credit offer will last? Wink
1738  Economy / Services / Re: Website Preview: BITADS.NET. Now Pay-Per-Day! on: August 29, 2013, 01:12:40 AM
Hmmm, for the reasons mentioned previously I now think that seeing the hourly rate might be better.

Is CPU mining alt coins possible?

Unfortunately, no, not on these plans, we may introduce plans just for mining in the future.
Why is this plan not listed in your website?
Do you offer free trials?

What kind of upgrades from the base plan do you offer? I only see other pre-made plans.
