I tried using the virtual one yesterday and it worked completely fine for a $5 transaction. Once I converted to USD I didn't go through any additional fees. I am still unsure of how much the fee for the actual conversion is, though, since it has varied the two times I did it.
How much details about the card transactions do they display online? I didn't look into it too much detail, but I do remember it having the date and time as well as the amount charged to the card. I can give you a more detailed answer later today when I grt back on the computer.

Just thought I'd mention that you would have better luck if you approached them directly instead of just posting here expecting someone to pop up and consider you trustworthy enough to run a campaign.

It sounds like an unnecessary waste of bandwidth to me. People could have their tabs open without actually looking at them and you would still be using up the forum's bandwidth. That is, if it is done automatically. If it is done manually then, yeah, it would be a nice feature to have to save a second or two per load, but nothing crucial.
Yes, it is done manually. I don't like automation in this feature. =snip= A refresh button or similar, so new posts will be fetched and can be seen without reloading. =snip=
Ah, in that case I don't see a problem, since it really isn't too different from what we already do. In fact, it'd be even better since only part of the page would be refreshed, saving some bandwidth. It also shouldn't be hard to do. You have my support.

I'm trying out the virtual one. I'll come back here to post on what I find.
My deposit has 3 confirmations but is still "pending". I'm guessing it needs 6.
Hi, when you send bitcoin you should wait the "standard" irreversible 6 confirm, and after your coin will appear in your balance. Let me know if you will find other problems (or simply want an help). Yeah, it's all good now. I'll give some feedback after I try it out for a bit. I don't quite understand all of the limits, though. What does a one-time limit mean? Is it overall for the card or for just one transaction?

Well, I think spending 1,5 million $ on an online forum is too much... Honestly You could shoot a super professional hollywood movie (well, nothing like Harry Potter, Transformers etc) You could hire a game developer team and develop an AAA game You could buy an office to let the staff work togheter But spending 1,5 mil $ on a forum? What can you get? It will probably just be a hardware upgrade and/or a whole new forum script, but that doesnt cost over a million $? The forum is great as it is, its perfect! Its one lf the biggest forums in the internet. People are enganging in the forum like crazy. The whole system works perfectly toghether. Much money doesnt mean good quality. Look at google, it didnt take the developers a cent to spend on the development, however its the best site on earth.
I think the forum should stay how it is right now, maybe changing/fixing some small things on the forum (adding more features, some small design implements, MORE EMOJIS!)
Some of your estimated are quite far off, but in my opinion, your point is kind of right. A million and a half dollars seems like way too much, but this has been discussed plenty before already and there is nothing we can do about it. I am also quite sure that it did take Google money to get to where it is now . I also would not call it the best site on Earth. A forum is also not that easy to make. As to if it is perfect in its current state.... meh, that is up for debate.

I haven't lost anything myself. Either that or it was so insignificant that I don't even remember.
I have never gambled or put myself in a risky position as far as I can recall. Then again, nothing has warranted that situation.

Ok, at this point this has just become a place to farm for posts with nobody even reading the instructions and just spamming random numbers. What you have to do is something like...
Is it less than 100,000,000,000,000?
Also, even by asking questions this is probably not worth anyone's time at all. People who have just been guessing randomly are really here just for the post count.

I've just read two threads regarding the "$1.5 million forum software" that has yet to be released and we, as Bitcointalkg users, are the ones who's gonna be using it. Can't wait what's in store for us bitcoiners! ... And it is passed another month (from their deadline February 2015). What do you think guys, will the new forum software be finished before the end of April? I think yes and you?
Well we don't need to be in a hurry though. The developers might as well do their best to fix the bugs and other security issues rather than to rush the work and deliver it to the deadline. You don't want the $1.5m to be spent on rubbish, do you? I don't care about the deadline, I am happy with how the forum is currently, but the upgrade would be nice to get earlier, needs a change of design quick. I'd rather have it released 100% completed and bug tested instead of some buggy forum which can get hacked. I've been away from the forums for a while. I take it the deadline hasn't been changed since? Has anything been announced yet, even?
