@CurbsideProphet: Was there really a need for you to confirm it for everyone here in the Thread? It was 'PM' for a reason. Instead of replying in the PM you come here with your comments.

And yes, I know they are not malicious and anyone who thinks that, well then he needs to learn the meaning of malicious.

Secondly, if you are not interested in the deal, then don't do it, but no point advising others what to do.

If someone is willing then I will deal with them. Everyone can think for themselves.
Posting that publicly just makes it easier to find someone willing to do the job.
1142  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Track down and confront Mark Karpele's wife and kid to get some answers on: March 30, 2014, 04:04:09 AM
As long as nothing changes hands between Mark and his wife, I see no reason to get his family involved.
1143  Economy / Services / Re: CoinCashCard.Com A Reloadable Visa Debit Card That You Fund With BTC! on: March 28, 2014, 08:37:27 PM
To avoid quoting the above, you should remove the link and name from your quote if you want any hope of getting rid of it Wink
1144  Economy / Services / Re: CoinCashCard.Com A Reloadable Visa Debit Card That You Fund With BTC! on: March 28, 2014, 11:42:07 AM
Be careful with this. There have been a few scams lately offering the same. Also, I cry every time someone uses "withdrawal" as a verb. Sad

"The price at which a particular Bitcoin was acquired (and this is traceable) determines the capital gains on that particular Bitcoin when spent. "

Except not every bitcoin needs to be obtained through an exchange or with dollars.
1146  Other / Meta / Re: When does the next two week period for activity begin ? on: March 28, 2014, 03:05:07 AM
The two-week periods start when the UNIX time is divisible by a certain number. Does anybody remember what the number is?
1147  Other / Meta / Re: I'm sorry, but Inaba has just gone too far... on: March 27, 2014, 10:40:01 PM
He has left me negative feedback by for "conning newbies into buying from scam companies", aka by recommending NOT to buy from BFL. The guide is MY opinion about the state of manufacturers...
And that is his opinion about you. That's how the trust system works, it's just mere opinions. Although, just so you know, I totally agree with you about BFL.

EDIT: And really, DefaultTrust shouldn't exist.
1148  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Humble Weekly Bundle on: March 26, 2014, 11:45:11 PM
Hey there. I want to buy the Humble Weekly Bundle, but they are not accepting BTC temporarily. I just want the $1 tier and am willing to pay 2mBTC for it, a bit more than it actually costs. There is less than a day left, so I would much prefer to not have to use escrow (it is also just $1). I'll pay first if you have a higher activity than me and no trust issues. Here is the link: https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

Make sure to check the box that says "Yes, please send me a gift code". You will then PM that code to me, simple as that. Also, make sure it is the weekly bundle, not the normal one. I don't want any books Tongue

EDIT: Done! Getting it locked.
1149  Other / Meta / Re: Why Is My IP banned on: March 26, 2014, 07:56:55 PM
yea ok lol So how do I really get the account I want unbanned, unbanned?? I would rather use it than this account.
I'm pretty sure they can't do much for you unless you give them your account name Wink.
1150  Economy / Services / Re: [BTC.sx] Get paid for your signature on: March 26, 2014, 11:44:39 AM
I'm dropping out of this for now. Of course, you don't have to pay me for this month. Also, check your PMs, Seal! Wink
1151  Economy / Services / Re: GAW MINERS PAYS FOR YOUR SIGNATURE => HIGH RATES!! on: March 25, 2014, 08:31:24 PM
Sounds legit enough. My address is 1593yeCZsCzACRTuTozGGbEAs6JY4DaSEH and my post count right now is 792. I'm in. (Give me at least a minute to add the signature)

Also, how do you know if a post has been edited?
1152  Economy / Services / Re: GAW MINERS PAYS FOR YOUR SIGNATURE => HIGH RATES!! on: March 25, 2014, 08:20:56 PM
When does the month begin/end? Also, as i understand, you are running this for someone else. Do you have the actual money to pay it out or does someone else have it?
1153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which tax is the least bad? on: March 25, 2014, 03:39:22 AM
I voted for import/export taxes. The way I see it, each country has to protect itself from other countries' production and exports, and import taxes are a good way to protect the economy against it. No protection would just devaluate the nation's currency even more due to other countries selling stuff for a cheaper price (#BitcoinMasterCoin). But then again, this goes against many capitalist principles. I would like to see someone's reply to this (though, take it easy on me).
1154  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Coinbase turning into another Gox? on: March 25, 2014, 03:29:07 AM
Short answer: No
Long answer: I don't think so. It has been working fine for me with no exchanges cancelled. But then again, don't store all of your bitcoins in an exchange.

1156  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPlastic Debit Card - Anonymous on: March 25, 2014, 03:18:33 AM
Sure looks like an scam so far.

I ordered me one of those Visa card and transfered 1BTC for testing.

Sent the 1BTC 16.march, Still havent recieved anything in the account.
Requested help on their support system. Got replied:

I talked to techs. They are making some security improvements to\r\nprevent hacking, and apparently the software is having trouble picking\r\nup incoming deposits. I confirmed that your deposit hit our wallet just fine. There is no chance the funds will be lost, but it might take up to 24 more hrs for\r\nyour account to be updated. I could update your account manually, but\r\nthen you would get a double-credit when the software finds the\r\ndeposit. Again, nothing to worry about, and I do apologize for the problem. We\r\nare always trying to improve security and in this case it has caused a\r\nsmall temporary bug

This was answered to me 18.March.

Still not gotten the funds in the account (6days later), also tried to contact em again twice, without any response.

So far it really looks like SCAM SCAM SCAM (will edit this if things get fixed).
Why would you transfer a whole BTC to something that isn't necessarily reliable? It's just asking to be scammed :/.
1157  Economy / Services / Re: ***BitSource.org Buying Signatures - Sr. Member or Above Only - 15 Slots on: March 25, 2014, 03:08:28 AM
Are you willing to pay up front or use escrow?
1158  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: March 23, 2014, 10:48:00 PM
Wow this thread has gotten pretty long, I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with sig advertisement but what is wrong is the moronic terms that the people who pay for these advertisements do, it's like with these referral links and marketing schemes, the people behind them are perfectly happy getting attention no matter how negative it is even if that means hiring other users to spam the shit out of forums. What the moderators should do if they want to get rid of these guys is force them to pay on an hourly/daily/monthly basis, they wouldn't be able to pay people based on per post, I guarantee you it will make more than half of them just give up and leave because they're just doing this as a cheap way to get attention.

Marketing people don't care about what others think of them, they just want to get as many views/sales/signups as possible, even if it means annoying the fuck out of people, so the best way to get rid of them is make it too expensive and unprofitable for them to sign up users to their programs, the only reason so many of them are doing this is because people are selling their signatures for such a low cost, you could also do some kind of blacklist against the people who are advertising based on Pay Per Click/Pay Per Post/Pay Per Signup and put a whitelist for those who choose not to.
I am sure many have thought of this before. The only issue with it is the fact that this wouldn't be able to be enforced adequately.
1159  Other / Off-topic / Re: the great quote pyramid thread! on: March 23, 2014, 06:19:03 PM
Dont post more than one line, it will screw up the pyramid
Not at all it will make a matter of perspective one side will look bigger Shocked
I don't like that, though, so I'll remove it.

Something to think about.
