For my purposes who makes the smartphone is irrelevant.

I think at least the screen sizes do, though. Android phones usually have huge screens when compared to iPhones and such. It really does make a difference when browsing around. Also, sorry for the "harsh" previous message, don't know what was up with me Tongue.

EDIT: Haha nevermind, I did add a smiley at the end of that message, so it did actually convey what I wanted to say the way I wanted to say it... Yeah... You should totally ignore anything in this post related to that...
1284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dinosaur didn't die 65 millions years ago, they are still alive today on: January 05, 2014, 08:30:48 AM
Really? It has come to a religious debate? We have to calm down here. Why do you even care what other people think about religion? As far as I can tell by the previous posts, there was quite a bit of science in that video (I didn't watch it myself as I don't have the time). Christianity was mentioned further along. If you do not believe in it, you can just ignore it, there is no reason to bash other people for it. As for whoever mentioned that you would burn in hell if you didn't believe in God, I am pretty sure that it doesn't work that way. At its simplest, as long as you are a good-willing person, you're good to go, and not believing in God is as much of an opinion as religion is. You won't go to hell for that.

TL;DR: Stop fighting over religion, nobody's gonna get anywhere.

It isn't offshore if you live in the UK.

What do you mean that it has Mozilla? As in Firefox? And why would you want to use remote desktop on a VPS?

it has remote desktop with firefox on it that you can browse the net with huge newyork speed and ip
What would you need that network speed for browsing if that isn't even your PC? Could you give an example scenario?

Also, you currently have 2 threads, try and use only one of them.

What do you need Firefox for in a VPS? It's like putting a rollercoaster in your house.

Smartphone (iPhone-like)? Really? You do know there are other phones which don't necessarily use Safari... I should probably do a poll myself Tongue.
1292  Other / Meta / Re: Can we Propose a BitcoinTalk.org App? on: January 04, 2014, 05:54:47 AM
You can propose it, but I am betting that it will never happen Wink

It will be dumb if it didnt.
It may be dumb, but not a surprise if it didn't.
1293  Economy / Services / Re: Get 0.4 BTC for your Signature! [ minimum 10 posts :-) ] on: January 04, 2014, 05:50:33 AM
Looks pretty neat to be honest Smiley
Don't be fooled, now. If it seems too good to believe, it probably is.
1294  Economy / Services / Re: Will host your site on my vps for a week.(0.002 btc a week) on: January 04, 2014, 05:41:54 AM
No CP as in no control panel? In such case, how would we manage subdomains and such?

I meant: No Child Pornography(Or anything illegal for that matter.)

lol, sorry, guess CP has at least 2 meanings Wink

So it does have a control panel? Smiley

No. I do everything from the command line.

Oh right. So how does the "user" do anything they want to do like set up a DB?
I am pretty sure you can't do that without a control panel. At least not without SSH access, which probably wouldn't be provided.

That was my point really. Seems like the provider wants to do everything "for you", via command line. Not the sort of thing I'd go for but might be a market for people wanting simple websites.
Oh, my bad, I just read through the reply chain and totally skipped the OP's message about the command line. It seems like this service, indeed, doesn't give you either a CP or SSH, so I guess it is only for static websites.

EDIT: Well look at me, I just skipped through another of his posts, which is exactly what I said...

I was getting it with a 50% frequency a few days ago. I am still getting it today, but not as much as before.

Yep, haven't really seen freelance sig ad offers getting taken up
PD is reliable but payouts have fallen steeply

Looks like they're gonna fall even more after the 17th because of stupid spammers.
I've heard Stunna mention payments according to ones activity. So it's not so bad for members like me

I don't think it'll work like that. It'll be the activity you gain during the month I would've thought.
You can gain 42 activity at max during the month, normally 28 and 0 at minimum. Actually, you can only gain 0,14,28 or at really rare cases 42 activity (if at the end of the month you have slightly less than 14 active days then the during the next month you will get 14 more activity). So metering on that is kind of unpractical.

I don't see how its going to work either. I think just making the rules more stricter and anyone posting spam or crap should be barred from any payment.
It's also funny how I struggled last time I was in his program to make the 50 required posts while there were people claiming the 1200-post tier...
1299  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bit777.com 1mBTC Giveaway! on: January 03, 2014, 09:34:01 PM
I got it up to 5mBTC, just requested a withdrawal. Thanks!
1300  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Overview of Signature-Ad Campaigns on: January 03, 2014, 09:26:39 PM
I don't think this belongs to Marketplace. Shouldn't this go in Service Discussion?

You may have a point actually since the topics in question are in Services and we are discussing them but I guess people see it in marketplace

It was in the services section with the other sig deals.
all signature deals works here in services section no other place for them
I'm saying that because it isn't in services / service discussion anymore Tongue.
