1721  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How I Increased My Bitcoin and crypto Portfolio by 36% on: September 29, 2022, 01:54:51 PM
Those that have traded and didn't have a good result and want to stay in the market, they'll choose to stay and hold rather than trying hard in trading. They won't stay into a strategy if it losing them money.

That's why for those people like me that have already proven and tested holding is a good strategy and made me good money, I'll stick to it. But that doesn't stop me from doing other things and strategies in trading.

It just so happen that holding is a better passive strategy and all you have to do is to keep on adding more bitcoins if you can.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run To Be Half Story, Half Utility: Mike Novogratz At Token204 on: September 29, 2022, 11:18:07 AM
When COVID-19 started to affect the world in March 2020, the price of bitcoin decreased from $10500 to $3800, it was said that COVID-19 caused it.
Looking at the historical chart, it wasn't $3800 as the lowest on March 2020 which was the start of the lock downs. The lowest at that time was $5000.

But, it's true that when the bitcoin has decreased, it was most likely due to the start of the pandemic and many have panicked.

As for these predictions of Mike Novogratz. I recognize and appreciate all of his bullishness but it's that many times he had predicted and most of it didn't go accurately.

what is the support email to bitvest?
As said, go and make a ticket through ~ https://bitvest.io/support

You need to login for you to send a ticket to them whatever is concerning you. Concerns posted here would take time before LL or any of their representative.

It's easier and with said new update of theirs, you'll be getting a quicker respond.

But they casino is operating normal and didn't forget to rain promotions whenever there is a need for it.
Even at his absence, there are people behind it that manages the operations so they're still good in operating even without him.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is a creeping beast on: September 28, 2022, 10:06:17 PM
I admire those countries that are able to keep up and at least maintain the inflation rate into their economies.

While I feel bad for those countries that can't stand still and have been hit hard by the inflation rates. There's nothing we can do about them, they have to adjust and adopt the current situation and they have to do something or else, it's like just survival everyday especially for the middle income earners down to the poorest of the poor.
Adoption is the key while looking for other source of income, that high inflation can’t be gone in just a year usually it takes more years before it stabilize into a more lower rate. You can’t survive on this if you continue to complain instead of working into something, some countries might continue to experience higher inflation by the end of the year, that can result to a more complicated situation and I just hope that many already prepared for this.
Inflation won't go away but it could be slowed down.

Complaining won't really help you to survive but trying to look for some ways will. It's all survival after all and it's hard to do that if you're not capable of doing anything and even having a plan.

Although the government should play a big part of at least mitigating the situation and trying to do something so that citizens won't suffer a lot.
1725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful when lodging into any hotel on: September 28, 2022, 08:05:04 PM
I've known that technique when I've seen it on a video and aside from cameras, whenever I go out of town or go into lodging place or a hotel. I simply don't connect to their WiFi and the same goes for public places that has free WiFi.

I think that your wife should have never done that, expose her seed phrase on an unknown place. That's why when it comes to this, it's better to stay at home and do the necessary transactions at your comfort.

Not blaming her but we really don't know the place where we're staying so, it's better to just stay there and avoid accessing anything related to crypto or finances.

I hope both of you recovers from this.
1726  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: September 27, 2022, 09:05:51 PM
It is true that maintaining a business isn't easy and that's why a business that's already seeing its peak should maintain its consistency. That's all that matters in most businesses because even if you're the best right now.

But, you're not consistent in what you do like marketing, customer support and innovation then you're going to be the last someday if you're not able to maintain that. Especially for these businesses that requires continuous upgrade and innovation, they'll be left behind if they don't accept that fact.

So it's less than a week before the last chance qualifier starts in Singapore and then another few days before The International officially kicks in. A close friend keeps convincing me that we should get there and see it live. Maybe someone from here is coming there too? If this event happened pre-Covid I would go there 100%.

I'm expecting the outright odds to favor Team Spirit, OG, and PSG LGD. In the last qualifier, I am still hoping for T1 to qualify.
If I've got no family to be left wherever I go, I'll definitely go in Singapore as I have my passport ready and got some budget in.

But well, this is one of the perks of being tied to your wife hehe.  Grin

If you are single, you have the budget, go with your friend. It's once in a lifetime opportunity and you may never see the TI again near that region if you're near Singapore.

Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.
Convenience is what I think the main reason why gamblers are staying on a casino. And that includes on how easy it is to contact customer support for most problems that a customer may face.

Like having hard times or problems in withdrawals and deposits. That's one of the major problem that most gamblers would like to have an assurance that if a casino promised that it'll be an instant withdrawal, then just do it as what it's said in the promise.

Next is the variety of cryptos being accepted. It's part of being convenient to a casino that has wide range of supported cryptocurrencies because not everyone of us would like to gamble with bitcoin and other top coins because, we're all saving that in the future.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paths through bitcoin success on: September 26, 2022, 09:59:06 PM
Bitcoin was said to have died hundreds of times and even always successfully got a lot of adoption and new society every day, that is why Satoshi successfully made Bitcoin become great and famous in the eyes of everyone and even the world knows Bitcoin, the success of Bitcoin comes from a sincere community and that proven until now the Bitcoin trip is quite successful
It'll never be gone when there's always the call out for bitcoin that it has died. Well, that only proven how strong bitcoin is and how it's resistant for so many years.

The opposite of what they're calling out seems to be the outcome of where bitcoin is right now and to those butt hurts, it's hard to accept that this piece of great technology and invention by satoshi has already been a threat to the current and long banking and financial system.

It's even becoming bigger and soon, it'll be par with those big tech companies from its market cap.
1731  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentina to Hike Interest Rates to 75% as Inflation Nears 100% on: September 25, 2022, 11:02:54 PM
This is the hard truth with those countries dealing with high inflation rates. They have to keep up their interest rates so that at least they can lessen down the effect onto them.

With the interest rate hike made by the FED, this is really hitting a lot of countries. I guess majority of the countries in the world have to keep up with it because the value of their local currencies are also going down.

I've seen some videos in Argentina that tackles about interest rates and they really are having that hard time to keep with their finances. Going abroad and earning dollars is what of those people have kept in their mind to deal this high inflation rate they experience.
The whole world is in chaos and I am not sure how the world will be coming out of it is going to happen
Because I dont see it happen anytime sooner in the coming days. Neither in any part of the world
Those countries like Argentina that are in high inflation, they will have a really difficult time of doing it.

Maybe a reset will do? But I don't think that's going to be an easy thing for them. Like your concern that with things happening in the world, it's making it more difficult for them to recover.

In the coming days, it's hard to foresee it but I believe that there will be a time that shall end it or if not the end, at least minimize its effect.
1732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hardware wallet or Bitcoin Core wallet? on: September 25, 2022, 10:00:33 PM
I'm using a hardware wallet, Ledger wallet.

It's like 5 years already to me and have used it many times and still have the old version that works perfectly for me.

If you like to download a desktop wallet, Electrum is the best option for you to have.

Never keep your bitcoins into any exchanges even they're the most reputable ones because you have no control over it, you don't have the private keys of your btcs.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 24, 2022, 11:59:03 PM
Just recently watched the True Sight and I just want to point out that maybe the reason why PSG.LGD always loses in the finals is because xiao8 is acting extremely tensed and seems like a dick towards his team. XinnQ received the bulk of Xiao8's bad manners at the start of the documentary but he still managed to uplift his team's spirits. Xiao8 doesn't even believe in his team's suggestions on picks and just goes for what he only thinks can win the game, making uncomfortable picks for LGD. Hopefully they win this year's TI, it's saddening to watch ame chase for the aegis for so long but only always come extremely close.
I haven't watched yet the True Sight for TI10 but from the discussions that I've read, many have said that the allegations against xiao8 isn't true.

Many have felt bad for Ame, he still hasn't won a TI championship and hopefully, this year would be his.

Although there are other teams that also deserves to have that title, we'll see if they'll still able to reach the grand finals.

1735  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What can stop the Russia-Ukraine crisis. on: September 24, 2022, 10:03:16 PM
I was just enjoying the speech of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the United Nations General Assembly, confirming his country's insistence on ending what he calls the military mission in Ukraine, which he claims is aimed at protecting minorities.

At the same time, Putin issued a decree to partially prepare reservists (approximately 300,000 volunteer soldiers), after the Kremlin issued a decision to imprison for up to ten years for those who refuse to enlist or do not perform their duties while serving. Reports mention the arrest of more than 700 people who refused the recruitment process, in addition to many of them fleeing to neighboring countries.
What a speech, they really believe that they're the ones who's in the correct path. I'm seeing that it's unlikely that we'll see the end of this war.

And with that ruling about recruiting and encouraging their citizens to be reservists with that punishment of being put in prison for declining, that's certainly one thing that trying to say that their people have no option to choose.
1736  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 23, 2022, 09:12:44 PM
If you have won that amount clean, why wouldn't they give it to you?

I guess if there's an issue with you and for that casino, contact them and have your question cleared by them by providing some proofs that you've won huge amount there.

But, if they're not giving it you and they also have a counter on why you shouldn't receive it. Contest it to them.
1737  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a bonus EVERY Month! on: September 23, 2022, 12:34:12 PM
Anyways, you can always deposit and play without the need of verifying your account When you hit a win and want to withdraw funds, you'll need to do KYC.
This does makes sense, anyone is free to play and deposit but once you want to take out your winnings, there goes the KYC. At least, it's clear before someone complains that he's being asked for KYC because he's trying to withdraw.

The offer of betcoco for the deposit bonuses are engaging. Just like what has been said on the first page, what it would like be in the long run having that bonus offer.

Anyway, good luck and welcome to the forum.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 07:01:21 AM
We have the same thought of leaving some funds in a casino where we're playing so that we don't have that hassle of depositing again after withdrawing.

We'll have to pay for the fee again to the network although it's not that a lot but sometimes, it's really making us think that it's a lot of effort to do so.

Not just much for me to leave, maybe around $50-$200 would be the ideal for me. Unless I want to add more but I don't want to leave that much there.
1739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: UK Regulator Warns Exchange FTX Is Providing Services Without Authorization on: September 22, 2022, 05:58:59 AM
Well, just like what happened to Binance. FTX would just act on what's needed to be done and they'll comply to this warning that the UK has imposed onto them.

Whenever a business is thriving and becoming popular, you'll see them try to gain their attention and it's just all about licensing, registrations, etc. and other fees that they can snuck to them.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 22, 2022, 04:26:02 AM
No need to think about it being a threat. Bitcoin is volatile while digital dollar has a stable value. While we hold bitcoin, we're all for it until the price of it goes up.

While this digital dollar and others that have the same stagnant value, they'll be used mostly for purchase as it's guaranteed that there will be no volatility issues.

So, the difference of it from bitcoin is totally far and we can still use bitcoin the same as these digital dollar does. But, they can't be the same as bitcoin for being volatile.
