1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have the potential for growth? on: October 23, 2021, 11:59:56 PM
Based on my observation IMO, most altcoins that have a fixed circulating supply will most likely have the potential to grow up.
And the second factor that I consider has its own blockchain network and it is useful to the community.  These kinds of altcoins are on the top of the CMC now and if I know that they had potential maybe I already invested them.  Next are those NFTs projects that are based on play-to-earn games, it seems they are very trending now, and there are a lot of them now that followed the step of Axie Infinity.

But if you don't know which it is and don't have an idea how a potential one I think it's good if you will pick the top 10 altcoins the Coinmarketcap.  Because you knew that they already had been tested for so long.
1742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: October 23, 2021, 11:37:06 PM

It's all about how fast you could cope up on trading to become profitable. You need to find your own indicators that suits your style in trading.

It comes to passion you have for the business of trading. Yes if no passion then success rate will be limited and poor but a passionate trader tries to understand his pattern, strategy and market movement. No strategy is perfect for avoiding of losses but a winning of 80% success rate is good to follow. Many traders have no passion for it but they like the profit part. It is a business for passionate people and not for people who rely on trading platforms because no platform can give a 100% winning rate.
I tend to agree but that there's no trading platform that could give a 100% winning rate, it's our skills and strategies that are used.
The advantage of picking a good trading platform is that you made your trading activity very smooth if it's high volume exchange.

Each trading platform has different features that you may like, just like Etoro exchange where newbies can do copy trading which is good for newbie who starts learning and exploring trading.  It has a mixed feature of stocks, forex, commodities, or cryptocurrencies.  It's very crucial to choose a trading platform that suits you when it comes to the financial market, it should always meet your needs.
1743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on: October 23, 2021, 11:00:05 PM
Hello, what is the best way to take profits? I'm confused if I should take my seed out and leave my profits to climb, or if I should take profits out every time the price climbs 25% to 50%? Which way is more profitable, or does it even matter?
It's a good decision if you will get your profit at once and hold them in a long term.  Just like, if you have profited more than 50%, that's pretty good to re-invest again when there's a correction of Bitcoin price.  It's really hard to jump in a dip price, you need to wait a perfect time of investment, and also taking profit should also be a perfect time and I think, there should be a profit target.

Quote
If I leave my profits in the trade would I be making more money then if I were to take profits out at every 50% price gain?
Possible, but don't expect that you will take profit next time as big as you get as earlier.
If I were you, just take profit at once and reinvest when the market becomes in the bearish market again, but the question is when this will happen, it seems the market has been enjoying the bull run.
1744  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to deposit and withdraw on exchange on: October 22, 2021, 03:02:46 PM
...but is Probit okay?
In Trustpilot Review, it seems they are not a good exchange.  I didn't try using them but it seems they don't have a reputable name to trust to hold our fund and do trading.

If you want to have a list like this, do some research first before recommending it to someone else.
Because there's a consequence that you might blame in the nature once they were scammed.

...some people will want to buy and hold some coins which they believe it will do well in future and some might be listed on coinsbit alone, thats why I decided to add the exchange.
If you found some people like this, advice them not to tolerate this idea.  Holding coins on any exchange for a long time isn't good, we should have full control over our coin if you remember the golden rule of crypto "Not your keys, not coins" its better to pull out all your coins in the exchange.
1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin flash crashes to $8200 at Binance.us on: October 21, 2021, 03:50:51 PM
Is there any announcement from them?

I remember this also in our local wallet/exchange called Coins.ph before.  They drop all coins supported (BTC, BCH, ETH, and XRP) and it seems there are too many users who grab the chance to buy crypto in just a matter of minutes, it's pumped back.

As I can see, not only did Bitcoin has dropped the price, it's altcoins including BNB.

I think accumulating now is quite a good decision.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help sent usdt to smart contract instead of wallet on: October 21, 2021, 03:12:35 PM
As above said, not likely but it will surely get lost forever.

Try to check the smart contract address if this has a function of transfer option if there is and then you're lucky enough and good to go with your USDT, but if not (Which is I strongly doubt) there's nothing you can do is accept your mistake.  Since cryptocurrency and the blockchain that has been used is an irreversible transaction or can't be undone, there's no way to get your USDT back.

Sorry for your loss but I think you need to move on and don't let will happen this in the future and you should learn from this mistake, next time you should be careful always because I said, the crypto transaction is irreversible.
1747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fomo AGAIN? on: October 19, 2021, 11:58:52 PM
We're in the new ATH now? (correct me if I'm wrong)
Bitcoin price has been reached the $64.4k range and the previous ATH price was the $63.5 range.  So I think, at last, we have surpassed the previous ATH in just a matter of months, and in a year, there's two ATH had happened.

I don't see it in FOMO, IMO.  We have real investors that become Bitcoin rapidly increase the price and the good news that happens around was also the possible reason and helping Bitcoin pumped too much.  There's a lot of good news that happened and recently, it was about Bitcoin ETF, and secondly, there are countries that announced of possible legalization of Bitcoin and adoption.  So, it could be the possible reason for this new ATH happened.

FOMO?  No, it's a real investor and this isn't hype.
1748  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: October 19, 2021, 11:43:07 PM
Look around and if you have a fundamental analysis you will find out that Bitcoin price moves and has an effect depending on our economic movement.
There's a lot of good news that happened on Bitcoin recently and that's might be the reason why Bitcoin price continuously plunged in the market, the possible reason could be Bitcoin can be used as payment online and since we're still in the pandemic, cryptocurrency as an alternate payment for any digital transactions.  So, therefore, Bitcoin was in the perfect timing of adoption and could be the reason has gained more value.

Plus another factor of demand and supply, of course, the price would be affected too and it becomes now more expensive in the market.  In fact, how many countries now announced Bitcoin becomes legal tender.

There are too many factors to consider and I can't input all here and discuss them one by one.  Instead, this was the most anticipated by most crypto enthusiasts and Bitcoin is now predicted to become $100k by next year.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: October 19, 2021, 11:25:37 PM
Where are your advantages in the cryptocurrency industry?  It seems your title on this thread is irrelevant to the content.

If we're talking about the advantages of crypto, there are a lot of them to mention but I think here is the real purpose why these cryptocurrencies existed in the market and it could be also the reason for the mass adoption.

Here are my major advantages of using cryptocurrencies.
  • Decentralized
  • Hold ownership
  • Easy transaction
  • Can be profitable

I think that's it, the last part of being profitable is where you explain how to do in cryptocurrency and in your statement above.  In all you mentioned is that the way how to get profit, gambling isn't the right way of obtaining profit.  It's high risk compared to trading, but I think the opposite side on that where you always have a guarantee to have profit is staking your Bitcoin, it's a little risk but in the safest way.

By the way, don't forget the golden rule of cryptocurrency.
Not your keys, not your coins.
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first time using a Bitcoin ATM on: October 19, 2021, 10:58:08 PM
I then inserted 100$ of liquid money into the machine and recieved a notification on my phone telling me that the transaction went through successfully.
How much did the exact value of Bitcoin go through to your Bitcoin wallet?  I have heard that buying Bitcoin in an ATM machine has a huge fee and I think that was I'm afraid of buying Bitcoin on an ATM machine.

To be honest, I didn't try this buying crypto on an ATM machine because it's rare in my place that establishments have an ATM machine for Bitcoin.  So, I didn't try it yet.  It seems very for you and that was a smooth transaction in Bitcoin ATM, I'm aware of the process of buying Bitcoin on ATM because I have watched and read people's experienced on buying Bitcoin on ATM.
1751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Technical Analysis? on: October 19, 2021, 03:46:25 PM
Do you use technical analysis when you trade bitcoin?
If yes, what are the best strategies? Bitcoin is so volatile now.
I didn't use Bitcoin as trading or let say a day trading, I used it as a valuable asset and trade to fiat when there's my profit already.

But yes, there's nothing wrong if you will use technical analysis in trading Bitcoin as your preference.  However, if you're a long-time holder technical analysis isn't necessary because it is based on fundamental analyses that are monitoring some trending news on Bitcoin that could affect the price quickly on the market.

If you mean trading on Bitcoin and Altcoins on the crypto exchange platform, technical and along fundamental analysis are much more important.
Both are very important to have at least a reference on how to predict the market price.
1752  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can the signals of Twitter accounts be trusted? on: October 18, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
What do you think?
I think they are just the same on Telegram's social media platform.

There's nothing wrong if you use them as your reference in trading but as an alternative source and don't rely on them.  Keep in mind that no one can predict the crypto market price, if there's someone who can manipulate the price, it's them, the pump and dump group will most likely be a crypto signal group.

Be cautious joining on that group or I think the better you will stay away from them and do your own research instead.
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest on Bitcoin on: October 18, 2021, 11:44:12 PM
Wondering how many of you earn interest on your Bitcoin?
How many?  So it means you talk about possible profit that you could earn by increasing the value?
Because holding Bitcoin it will not grow its amount, it's grown on the value.  If you have 1 Bitcoin while holding, it will remain 1 Bitcoin.
But if you mean how many people have the interest to have Bitcoin, as much Bitcoin is valuable people wanted to have it like a valuable asset.

Quote
Do you feel this is risky, whoever owns the private key owns the BTC ?
No, because I know how to store it safely.  Bitcoin is vulnerable to hack but if you know how to keep it safe and store it in a safe wallet, you're totally safe, and yes, not your keys not your coins policy here.  You should be knowledgeable enough about how to use and how to keep it safe.

Also any resources for a high interest rate I think around 6% is the highest, these are some I have seen Liquity, Blockbank, Voyager, Nexo
Not familiar with aside from Nexo, are you shilling all of these?
1754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid scammers (Must read for newbie) on: October 18, 2021, 11:13:18 PM
Tactics #2: Investment plans through telegram
A house of a lot of scammers is here, I think if you're new in the crypto world maybe you must avoid using this social media platform if you don't know how to verify legitimacy.  It's better to avoid dealing with people using this platform because it seems a bit annoying when there's someone who will offer you investment and sweet promises that you will earn after putting in investment.

In addition, these threads are related to your thread too that newbies would aware.

Anyway, thank you for sharing this.
1755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Bitcoin price do you think altseason will start? on: October 18, 2021, 10:59:23 PM
Usually Bitcoin significantly pulls up the alts at some key level. What do you think will be the level this time?

...
Best, Peter
Hi Peter, I think you didn't closely monitor the crypto market since this year.
Maybe have you notice that when the Bitcoin price goes up all altcoins prices are pumped too.  I didn't know if there's an altcoin season but I think usually it depends on the Bitcoin price, all the market price movement depends on the Bitcoin price.

I think you already found the answer to your question.  Altcoins pump altogether with Bitcoin or it might be there will be an altcoin season and nobody knows when it will be.
1756  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC hovers above $61K amid US regulators against physical product Bitcoin ETF on: October 17, 2021, 11:57:14 PM
This Bitcoin ETF for me is still not 100%, but whatever will happen in the future, denied or approved, for me, there will always effect on the market.
To be honest, even there are some people who don't want Bitcoin ETF, it is expected to happen, just like what happened on Gold before.
Even there is Bitcoin ETF or no Bitcoin ETF, Bitcoin will always Bitcoin.
I tend to agree because Bitcoin even without ETF the adoption was continued and it kept spreading, as we can see there's a lot of legalization happen in most parts of the country and I think one of the reasons why Bitcoin price plunged too much and hovers above $60k plus range within this month and I think, this Q4 of this year Bitcoin has a good sign of massive growth.

What do you think about the new concerns that will occur in the future?
Legal tender worldwide? (sounds quite impossible thou)  It seems already triggered by El  Salvador.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of Axie Infinity on: October 17, 2021, 11:45:16 PM
IMO, it might be the reason is NFT Axie was on the perfect timing, the play-to-earn games which are catching the interest in most people especially people now are always on the internet and seeking extra income, that is why more people who believe in this NFT project.  As we noticed all gaming platform has been brought hype now and it includes the gaming NFT which is the pioneer one is Axie Infinity and in fact, it gains too much trend in my country and might the adoption has been quickly spreading.

If the coin was based on demand and supply no doubt the price will continue to increase since many people adopting this platform and some of them have multiple accounts since they do farming for earning money.
1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can 1 Bitcoin buy in your country? on: October 17, 2021, 04:13:57 PM
1 Bitcoin in my country is worth 3,077,000 Philippine money with a current price(http://preev.com/btc/php) and that's huge money here and they can even call you a millionaire.

IF I have 1 Bitcoin, I can even buy a two-story house near my place which is a silent city and surrounded by beautiful nature.

Source:

And the rest could be a car... sounds good and that's how I wish before but until now it didn't happen.  How I wish there's 1 Bitcoin that will mistakenly send to my wallet with an unknown address. Lol.
1759  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exx.com; what is wrong? on: October 17, 2021, 03:13:39 PM
But I wonder how you ended up with this scam exchange. Of all the exchanges that could possibly be available to you, why on earth did you even choose exx.com? I will not be surprised if the exit scam accusations against this exchange have finally happened.
Exactly and this is what I'm thinking of.
How come OP was ended up using this exchange and it seems unfamiliar to me, I even always stick on the exchange that has a good review and fewer scam complaints.  Here in Bitcointalk if you will search on scam accusations there are a few threads there that discussed them and they said it's a scam and must stay away from them, it's awareness but yet, OP still using that exchange, even TrustPilot review isn't good for them.

And it seems all their social media accounts are inactive too, so considering this exchange platform is totally dead or it's possible that this exit scam exchange.

But it seems there is someone talking about their coin on Twitter recently.
https://twitter.com/Ninjacoin_org/status/1449409958383075328, is EXX is their coin right?
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone please help understand how the Binance Smart Chain works for fees? on: October 17, 2021, 02:43:23 PM
.

Can it be used to send (withdraw) BTC to another wallet? If so, why wouldn't anyone just use that instead of btc network since it's so much cheaper? What am I missing?
It's a simple explanation.
Bitcoin transaction network transaction was Proof of Work (PoW) algorithm based on the SHA-256 hashing function while BSC network was a delegated Proof of Stake (PoS), instead of using miners they used validators for every transaction.  That's why it has the fastest and cheapest transaction than using the Bitcoin network.

To understand more, here is a video on the article come from Binance that explains you most.
https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/delegated-proof-of-stake-explained

Use a wallet that has supported multiple networks like Trust wallet and comment above was right, you must research first if the wallet that you have used is supported with BEP2 and BEP20 or both networks.
