1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 21, 2022, 10:39:18 PM
That controversy that got some streamer, they've put it into this decision but that doesn't stop them the whole gambling thing being streamed on their platform.

There are still allowed contents to be done by these streamers but mainly, if they're from those banned games then they'll just have to make themselves free and open to the allowed ones.

A certain profit would be gone out for those streamers that are mainly streaming with certain games from those casinos. We know that not all casinos have sports betting and many are just focused with roulettes, dice and slots.
1742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto wallets have a long way to go on: September 21, 2022, 09:00:49 PM
There's this topic: Don't keep connected your wallet to a Dapps for a long time. that was made by Cryptovator and it's connected to this topic you made OP.

The solution that you got is actually good and many tend to forget to disconnect their wallets after connecting it. So, this could be suggested to the wallet provider developers and hopefully, they could add that feature.

Which a user can on/off it if they're the type of user that easily forgets, so before or while using it, they can set that feature and when they're AFK and they have forgotten their wallet is connected, it will automatically disconnect
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't keep connected your wallet to a Dapps for a long time. on: September 21, 2022, 08:23:55 PM
I'm not confident connecting it for too long and that's why I usually disconnect time after time of using a dapp or any third party website that requires of connecting Metamask.

It's like making me think that I am sometimes paranoid and think of those scams and hacks before but it's better to be safe.

I don't know technically the hackers are doing the drain but yeah, much better to be safe rather than suffer and feel bad once it happened to your wallet.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch gambling problem and Sliker issue on: September 20, 2022, 10:09:36 PM
Well, these people that are already out of control with their addiction just had found a new way to fund themselves. If that's what he's been doing and he later on released a statement of his apology.

Then, he sees the fault of himself that he should haven't done that. Whether there's a clause on Twitch's TOS or there's none, that's not really the best way to gamble.

But for his fans that have been giving their money to him, there are those folks that would just like to see them gamble and support it with their money.

Twitch should be more restrictive for the contents like this and won't allow to younger teens and kids to view them.
1745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips that could help crypto beginners. on: September 20, 2022, 09:03:20 PM
Having that mindset to become millionaire in crypto or any other industry is okay. But, sometimes having that mindset also could lead the newbies into a wrong place like believing into the investment schemes that would lead them into a scam.

The reason for it is that these scammers will use that mentality of theirs that they should invest in almost investment that will give them high % of return.

But instead of earning, they're likely ending up being scammed so, that's why having that mindset could also be harmful if it's for the newbies and still trying to find ways of making money.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your diversification strategy? on: September 20, 2022, 11:38:12 AM
I would like to diversify into other assets, I like precious metals, maybe I would buy some stocks, or even real estate, but the reality is that my small funds now can allowed me to invest in only one asset, so I chose bitcoin, because it is easy to buy and store, and it shows a very good momentum in price growth.
That's how I want to diversify too but analyzing the market for stocks, it's not for me at least for now but maybe in the future I'll be encouraged and attracted to it.

Many talks about real estate and just how we talk about bitcoin, it's on my list. As you deal with the problem of having little capital, some of the strategies that I've seen is about having a mortgage and have it rented so, that rental income will be the ones that should pay for its own monthly fee.

Although this is still requiring a hefty amount of money depending on the property you'll get plus the possible renovations that you need to have.

The other assets that I'm having on my list is about those cards like NBA cards, pokemon cards, well, I'm not an expert there but I see that there's really a market on it.
1747  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid again on: September 19, 2022, 08:24:14 AM
"WHO" who always said that there's still a COVID-19 right now, but people now believe that there's no more COVID-19. viruses.
And they said that it's the pandemic that's about to end. Well, yeah, the world problem and contraction could end but they should have just said it directly that it's here to stay no matter what words they use for its description.

However if there's a COVID-19 or not we must be aware and have strong immuney system to protect us in flu or cold. It's better to take a medicine to fight bad viruses.
People nowadays are more health concern and even if many countries now are allowing a mask-free society. You'll see those conscious people that are careful not just to themselves but also caring for the others as they wear a mask.
1748  Economy / Gambling / Re: I beat Duelbits on: September 19, 2022, 06:05:14 AM
I beat them fair and square    Smiley
Congrats!

But it is for you decide again if you want to keep on beating them and winning $300 or more against them. Or, you'll get beaten by them as what the usual thing happens and they'll recover what you've won.

And worst, you'll have to pull out more on your own pocket while they've already taken back those wins of yours.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tornado Cash Develoepr got arrested, why Monero, Beam or Secret founder are free on: September 19, 2022, 04:33:54 AM
The difference is that the government's eyes are only into Tornado Cash at the moment. The attention it has got was extreme to the point that they've focused on it for that matter.

Remember when Monero was delisted into exchanges in South Korea and also likely other offshore exchanges? It's because the eyes from that moment was only for Monero.

I guess the government is doing a one-by-one step for tracking all of them down and can't do much things based on the resources they have.
1750  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin telegram on: September 18, 2022, 10:52:01 PM
As for me, this forum is the best place to learn bitcoin and mining.
It is and very newbie friendly.

@OP, to mind you about Telegram, scams there are almost everywhere and someone will approach and message you out of nowhere upon joining a group about bitcoin investing but it's most likely a scam.

The forum has various of details to learn about if you want to learn many things about bitcoin. You don't have to go elsewhere or that far, you're already here.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you being secretive about your gambling activity? on: September 18, 2022, 09:24:58 PM
I do not know why others feel that they need to keep gambling a secret. They should not be ashamed to do it or get help to stop if they need it.
It's because there's a norm that if you're a gambler, you're almost close for being a bad person because you might do other things such as stealing, robbing and other bad things to sustain your gambling needs. This has been the portrayal of those irresponsible gamblers because they've done such acts.

But, it's not that all gamblers are like that. There are just those type of gamblers that have been too irresponsible and became addicted severely and they don't have a source to continue with what they do.

I have never been secretive when I started to gamble, it was even known not just to my relatives but also my friends. And even after going to school when I was younger, I've done it with my classmates. That's how I was open when I was on my younger days.
1752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 18, 2022, 11:26:50 AM
It's hard to determine how well prepared they are mentally when they're still new to it. It's better for them to experience the ups and downs of the market for them to really feel how they must react.

Like those newbies last year that have experienced and seen the greener pasture of the market and then a sudden fall have seen for this year. Honestly, they're even at a better state for seeing the lowest for bitcoin because it's still high.

Although if some of them bought at ATH which is the same situation before for those who have bought at ATH on 2017. They still need to wait until the next bull run comes.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2022, 11:59:05 PM
Well its kinda their own fault for dragging the game for so long in the first place. Most of the game that ended up over 60 minutes should actually be over in around 40-45 minutes but they probably wanted to play it safe then drag the game by destroying all lane. On another side, they are pretty much hyped up at this moment while Entity's players are probably leisuring while waiting for their game so yeah

Taking -2.5 though, its abit aggresive but yeah Entity is way better
Entity got the slot.

Feels bad for Team Secret for going through a lot of matches and having it in a long game. I agree to you that it should be shorter so they save time and also have a time to rest a bit.

But, well, it's one of the disadvantage of being able to be sent in the lower bracket and they have to go through that disadvantage and unfavor to them.

Still, they are on the last chance qualifiers. Now, the last two slots from the last chance are going to be the last two remaining slots to complete the whole TI teams. From 12 teams there, only two will get in from this wild card.
1754  Economy / Economics / Re: "Be your own Bank with Bitcoin" - A reminder why this is so important! on: September 17, 2022, 11:04:09 PM
These incidents are eye openers for those people that have a lot of money in the bank, no one's money is safe there anymore.

People tend to forget that fiat money is basically IOU papers and they're usually the property of the central bank.

Money in the bank account is just a number. And a bank is a private business, hence they care about their business, not about you. While in EU there are now laws protecting the funds under certain limits, this is rather new, this is only in EU and even there... laws can change. Plus I will not even start with the crap they're doing lately because of crypto, hiding under the "in the name of KYC" blanket.

But as said, Bitcoin is also not perfect, since it's easy to steal and hide. This being said, being your own bank is, sadly, not for everybody.

However, with a bit of carefulness, Bitcoin is clearly superior. And being your own bank certainly gives a nice feeling Smiley
Well said.

AFAIK, most of the banks have their limits and will guarantee a protection and insurance for the depositors but that's not a lot. But for small time depositors, that's already big.

It's better to have that hold of your own money these days. Although no doubt that we still need cash but, don't save all of your money in the bank because this can happen at anytime that they won't allow depositors to withdraw due to economic and business reasons.

It's been happening in many countries that are tightening the procedure of the withdrawals of their depositors. This can also happen but for those that don't hold their own private keys, their bitcoins.

Those bitcoins that are deposited in the exchanges and even how hard we're campaigning that everyone should hold their keys. There are still people that are leaving their bitcoins in exchanges.

These incidents are eye-openers for those people that have a lot of money in the bank, no one's money is safe there anymore.
This has been a scenario for bank users who have been involved in serious crimes. Their accounts are being frozen and locked and they couldn't access their funds anymore. Banks always want to take control of our finances so we should be wise about where to store them. Bitcoin has been giving us a better privilege on where we could keep our funds safer.
But sadly, even the innocent ones are being held and stopped for their withdrawals. This is what centralization is all about, even how badly you need the money, your money.

If they have some procedures to be done and for some reasons, they're halting everyone's withdrawal, you can't skip it even you have no issues against them.

1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an electronic currency, can it be use for bet gambling on: September 17, 2022, 10:03:16 PM
Definitely, it's actually one of the first industries that has adopted accepting payments for their deposits.

If you happen to be looking for a sports bookie to bet with, try playbetr. As your question has been answered already OP. It's now time for you to lock the topic.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: Newest Crypto Casinos and Bonuses - Updated Daily! on: September 16, 2022, 09:19:06 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk!

Just like what's stated, it's becoming more into this niche that we're seeing each day. I guess it's really profitable and these people have seen how the big bucks is into this type of marketing and niche.

Well, no offense but we all knew already how they're making bucks through these.

We agree that personal experience in a casino is the most valuable for determining its quality, reputation, etc. However, it would be hard for a single person to test numerous casinos to make a decision.
And that's how you're going to help your users. Well, that makes sense and those that I've seen are doing the same thing. But I think in your competition, whoever has got the best way of helping your users or customers will be the one to stay for long.
1757  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 The Best BSC BNB Casinos | Gamble with your shitcoin profits 💩 on: September 16, 2022, 08:17:53 PM
aside from the fact that this is just an affiliate marketing service, I will like to point out that one of the many advantages of using BNB as a currency to gamble is that it has low fees and faster transaction time compared to other networks like Bitcoin.
It's the next alternative after Ethereum and that's why BSC has been performing well and has got a lot of tokens already. Also, those existing tokens, they've chosen to have a network on BSC and that's why we see aside from erc20, there are the tokens that also has BSC.

Yeah, it has lower fees and also faster when erc20 isn't that much.

The same with Ethereum, too many shitcoins.

1759  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚨🤑 BestVouch.com / BEST Casino Bonuses, FREE Rewards and More. on: September 15, 2022, 10:28:54 AM
This is just a one pager website that directs you when you click the link to the bottom of the page. I see that the fiat casinos are still coming soon.

There are many casinos here in the forum and you have missed a lot of them.

For one thing, what if the problem turns out to be much easier to contact support directly than using your service?
If we think the problem is easy, why will you waste time asking for their help when you can just troubleshoot it on your own?
AFAIK, I understand that this website isn't all about that help that someone has to face and they're there to help. But it's all about referral links and affiliate marketing. CMIIW.

It's not a silly bet.  Cool

Nigma won against Brame and so this bet of yours.

Not really though, it was 2-1 and my bet was a handicap bet so that one lost. Nigma was an inch away from losing the qualifiers again and at this rate, Im not even sure if they'll make it to top 3 though. Thinking of taking +1.5 on DGG against Nigma on the next one though, value is at 2.6 so thats a decent value considering how bad Nigma currently is
Missed that, sry.

Later, it's going to be known if DGG can handle Nigma and they'll prove us wrong which what happened to them against Team Liquid. It's still going to be a long way to go for Nigma since they're at the lower bracket. While for those teams at the top, upper bracket, they just have a few steps away from the grand finals.

Right now, it's Goonsquad and Team Liquid playing.

Awhile ago in the SEA qualifiers, T1 continues to prove their dominance but tomorrow, we'll see if Talon will stop them and we'll see who advances to the grand finals.
