1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 [ANN] Coinlib - A New, Modern Cryptocurrency Tracking & Portfolio Site 🌟 on: June 04, 2018, 01:14:14 PM
Why this is such a small thread?! This site needs to be known! It's incredibly well built and useful.
I've added my crypto trades and my holdings, creating my portofolio and now I can visit your site and in one moment I know what's gone up and what's gone down in the last 24h/7d/30d.
We can also import our API key from exchanges like KRAKEN, HitBTC, Bittrex and more so that our trades and portofolio is updated automatically.

The 24h portofolio change that sums everything is also very nice.

One suggestion I have, is a system that will allow us miners to update our portofolio easier.
At the moment, every few days I'm adding a fake trade between "X" amount of coins which I've mined with "0" amount of euros paid. An extra field variable that holds the mined coins would open many possibilities, like for example a sum of mined coins for the last week/month/forever and their today value in fiat.

I wish you all the best with Coinlib guys!
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: June 04, 2018, 01:06:24 PM
I have no doubt on Ark's team, but volume is something to concern. In crypto, people tend to chase hype in newer projects.
Doesn't that mean we have lots of hodlers ! Grin

Anyways, publicity is what will bring volume. And they are doing that part. v2.0 will surely bring more volume.

I believe what will bring more volume (and more "ask") will be projects that are built on top of ARK, like for example Blockport and Cesirae.
Note: I'm not sure if Blockport is built ON TOP of ARK's system or if it's using some of its features in some kind of a collaboration.
1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: June 04, 2018, 01:02:12 PM
When is BCO going to be under "full release" ?  Are there any incentives to getting into BCO at this point?

Staking your BCO on the exchange-- it's fantastic, a no-brainer and easy win.

It's indeed a very attractive offer to stake BCO, but I wouldn't call it "no brainer". There are many options for staking out there, though only a few of them I'd call as good as BCO.
I'd definitely try staking and support my favorite exchange, but I'd put it 4th into my portofolio and for my funds the 4th position is about 100€. (My top 3 holdings sum 2700€)
With the flat fee that goes with the staking I don't think I'd make much with a 6 months staking.

I'd prefer a percentage-based fee with a minimum fee which will be lower than what it is now.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN] AMON ICO - Crypto Debit Card for Everyday Life🔥🔥 on: June 04, 2018, 12:52:55 PM
I just realised something (like 2 months after the fact).

I've provided an Ethereum address during my signup to the signature campain and I used this same Ethereum address to join the ICO.
But AMON is not an ERC20 token, right? Where am I going to receive my signature tokens, on the account created from the ICO or is this an ERC20 token after all and I'll receive the reward in my Ethereum address?
1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: June 04, 2018, 10:44:17 AM
wouldn't like to be mean, but i have to comment that this show must end one way or another

so many coins changed algo succesfully with minimal issues.
yesterday AEON forked and all went smoothly, at least from what i understand.

can't really think of anything else than a suggestion to ETN team  to hire devs to do the job. It is so obvious that there is incompetence in there.
If ETN want to do something more than to have the luck of a failed coin initiative, then they will need to take action now, still it might already too late.

(little hodler of ETN till the death of the coin)

I'd like to share my point of view regarding the comparison with other coins and since you mention the AEON...
    • AEON has an average of 30,000$ daily volume vs 500,000$ ETN's volume.
    • AEON has an averege of 0.8 MH/s after their fork vs ETN's 45.5 MH/s.
So from the above two points, we can conclude that these two coins don't have the same strain put on their networks from users. It's easier to upgrade a network that has 10 transactions in the mempool than a network with 10,000.

    • AEON was released June 06, 2014 vs ETN's October 30, 2017.
So not the same amount of time to stabilize their development.

    • The ETN changed a part of the code which (as far as I know) no other Cryptonight coin has changed. This led us to uncharted areas and caused some short-term problems with the many pendings transactions which were created before the code change. (More technical details on that can be found on a post few places before that)

Week 9, Tuesday (29/5): I did 8 posts and you count 6. I know 2 of them are short sentences but they are not spammy. I could have added nonsense in order to extend the words of the post but I wanted to keep them simple and on the point.

With the rest counted and uncounted posts, I agree with your count! Just these two I meantioned above, I hope you could revise.
    1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: June 04, 2018, 07:21:11 AM
Nanopool has a static difficulty of 240000 and I can't CPU mine with them. Even though I've got an 8600k and I get a decent 350 h/s, I'm not able to find a single hash within time before they move on with a new "equation" or whatever it's called.
I used to mine at spacepool, those guys updated their pool alongside nanopool and they were always rewarding the expected amount of ETN, no stealing or anything. However it seems that everyone is on Nanopool at the moment trying to push forward the first few blocks so I'm kinda stuck at the moment.

I mined with 3 Nvidia cards the first days without getting any reward just to support the network, but now I've sold one of the 3 cards so it's very likely I won't be finding any shares with 240k diff from the pool. Also I'd like to put my hashpower where it'll be rewarded.
So... sorry but this miner is out until I can CPU mine again! Undecided

It wouldn't be a bad idea to make a short (like one month-long?) paid signature campaign after Core v.2 is released and the team is ready to reach out for new partnerships.
I believe their targeted customers are outside the forums though, more likely CEOs or startup companies found in exhibitions.
    1770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: June 02, 2018, 10:57:22 AM
Sad that the etn dev's dont say anything here, its only guessing Tongue

They just got rid of the fact that they could make such an asshole, and have a staff of such programmers with crooked hands.

Well i wouldnt say that to fast, if it was an 1on1 copy from Monero i would say; yes ur right.Anyway this is not just an 1on1 copy from Monero. Its Monero(V7) in the basic with a lot, a lot of extra stuff working on the blockchain.

So yes, these things can happen, hell if even Microsoft can bring an update (~4 weeks ago) with bugs what crashes computers, harddisks, ''frozen'' gpu's and everything, then i wont start about all the bugs what Apple gave there users by adding updates (every year again) on the iPhones and iPads. U can only have respect for what ETN is doing.

The way how u talk is with zero respect.
First, answering the first post on the quote... they're updating their official Facebook and Twitter feeds. Whatever they'd say here would be buried under spam! Tongue
Second, their most recent Twitter post is in agreement with what you (@JoenNL) wrote!
    From Electroneum Twitter feed (source),
Every decision has to be taken into consideration with great deliberation and thought- Our mission is to be different therefore it is not always a case of following the trend in ideas. We also test as much as possible before big events such as the update.

    1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OpenBeta] FirstBlood.io - Come Play!! 1ST Esports Competition Platform on: June 01, 2018, 01:13:37 PM
Why so little info about PUBG? Other than some "out-of-platform" tournaments you've held, are there any plans to integrate the game into 1ST soon?

Here is some more info on PUBG on the FirstBlood Platform:

    https://blog.firstblood.io/revealing-firstblood-royale-a4ba280ad69a
    https://royaleapp.firstblood.io/

We will be using our FirstBlood Royale App to bridge the gap between our platform and their current gaming system. Their development team still has some ways to go before we can have full functionality with our platform and this is part of the problem that FirstBlood is solving. How can a platform like ours better integrate with the thousands of different types of technical systems that exist for game developers? It is not a problem that will be solved overnight but we are on our way, especially with us doubling down on development efforts as of late.

Since our inception, FirstBlood has been most concerned with acquiring actual gamers/end users so that we build a stable ecosystem. Now that blockchain technology and other solutions are improving, we are moving forward with blockchain technology integration. The last thing we want is for blockchain solutions to create a barrier to entry for users. No users = no network.

Ah I remember that! Thanks for sharing.
I've already registered there from the first day I got the email. However I had to create multiple accounts erhm I mean to invite multiple friends in order to climb the ladder and I didn't feel like putting too much effort on it. If I get a chance to try this system and it's good, my mouth can do better work than my typed words.
    1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: June 01, 2018, 10:27:30 AM
I'm also wondering why the difficulty is going slightly higher with every block we find... shouldn't it go lower since the block took a longer time to be mined? I guess there are some moving averages taken into account which is why the Electroneum team said they need help with the first 27 blocks, maybe that's how long it takes for the blockchain to adjust into the average times of the last blocks.

But still.... block 307499 was at 96.6kkk diff. and now we're at 178.6kkk !! Let's hope that the whatever patch the team issued will be inserted into the pools and help fix the issue. The problem is not so much the diff. as it's the rejection of mined blocks for some technical reason I have not understood. Nanopool and Spacepools have this patch so let's support either of them.

EDIT: AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, AVOID MINING ON OTHER CHAINS!!! WE'RE ONLY LOSING POWER FROM THE MAIN CHAIN MAKING THINGS SLOWER Whatever the supporters of forked chains are promising you, is not gonna happen, use your brains and don't be scammed.

The ETN team needs to moderate their greediness a little and buy nicehash power to find these 27 blocks for their money and give themselves a bonus for finding these blocks for more than 4 hours.

    Totally agree!!

Before you all agree and fill 5 pages of this thread with requests to the team about buying NiceHash power, check their Twitter/FB page and try to understand that the problem is not ONLY the hashrate.
24 hours ago they explained that blocks are failing even though miners "mine" them and 10 hours ago they issued a fix, asking pool owners to update from github.

Maybe a little extra hashrate would help... but that would be like having a barel with one hole that's losing water, and what you do is fill the barel with more water in order for the level of water to stay still! Better fix the holes in my opinion!
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: June 01, 2018, 10:11:22 AM
I transfered my ZCl to ZEC address. The destination said they dont have my coins. They said that I should check in with you guys.
Is anyway I could get them back?

Your post is a bit confusing! What is each of these addresses, ZCL and ZEC I mean. Which address is from Mining Pool Hub and which is personal and/or from an exchange.
The sender cannot help you, so if you sent from MPH to an exchange, only the exchange can help you. If you sent from MPH to your personal address, then maybe I know how to fix it... I'll have to research it.
1774  Economy / Services / Re: Nexybit Signature Campaign (Sr/Hero signature revised 4/13)(4/10 rates revised) on: June 01, 2018, 09:41:22 AM
    Notice

It has come to our attention during counting posts this week, that many posts were extremely short. As we consider those that were not 100 characters(including spaces and punctuation) to be equal to spam, they were not and will not be included into the payable post count.  We hope you understand our position on this issue. Thank you.

Makes sense. To be honest I would blacklist people who tend to spam the forums just to gain a lot of posts. It's normal for a 5%-15% of your total posts to be short, but if more than 50% of your posts are one-sentence you're clearly a spammer sir! Those people are very likely in the ignore list of other users.
Therefore I wouldn't be paying ignored users for posting with my signature if I was a campaign manager.
    1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: May 31, 2018, 12:55:35 PM
Nano pool finally found 1 block boys...  Grin Shocked

Yea and look at the reward! It's the double of what the reward was on the previous blocks. The transaction fees have been increased after the fork and surely this last block was full of transactions!

    From FB:

Mining Pool Owners & GPU Miners - We need YOUR help!
Earn extra ETN reward over the next 26 blocks!
The Electroneum blockchain forked at block 307500 today. As you are aware, the time it takes to mine blocks should be approximately every 2 minutes. Due to the extremely high difficulty caused by previously having ASICs on the network, blocks are taking substantially longer than usual (hours rather than minutes) while the network adjusts.
Firstly, we want to thank the community, our miners and the mining pools in continuing to support the network while we get through these difficult blocks.
However, we are not happy with the low returns our miners are receiving right now, so as a gesture to thank everyone who continues to support us, we will be supplementing the next 26 block rewards by with an ETN bonus (see below). This offer will run for blocks 307501 - 307527.
Mined under an hour 200,000 ETN bonus
    1 - 2 hours 150,000 ETN bonus
    2 - 3 hours 100,000 ETN bonus
    3 - 4 hours 50,000 ETN bonus
So how will this work? After each block is mined, the pool which successfully receives the block reward should contact the team by opening a support ticket (support.electroneum.com) with subject "BLOCK REWARD". They MUST include the public key (ETN wallet address) and view key of the address which successfully mined the block so that we can verify they are indeed the owners. We will check the block time of each mined block and send out the appropriate amount to the public key provided.
Can you please contact your users to let them know it's well worth their while getting back online, and let your users know how to change the algorithm on their software to mine with MoneroV7 or Cryptonight_V7
Again, we wish to thank everyone for continuing to support the ETN network
    Have a great day!
    Richard.
PS We've had over 40MH/s running on Nanopool for the last couple of hours so we must be extremely close to mining block 307501.
PPS - Please be patient with ETN transactions at this time - once we get past these difficult blocks our blockchain will be considerably more efficient.

So am I reading this right that they are rewarding the individual block finder?

Yes you're reading it right, it's then up to the block finder (which is probably a pool) to distribute the reward. It'd be funny though if a solo miner would find a block, it'd be like hitting the jackpot! Cheesy
    1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: May 31, 2018, 12:09:43 PM
Is anyone mining on etn.suprnova.cc as I was going to throw my CPU's to help.

I don't know about suprnova but I know about those two pools,
    1) MiningPoolHub was mining at the wrong chain and now redirects the hashpower to Monero (lol) so don't mine there if you want to support Electroneum
    2) etn.spacepools.org is mining on the correct chain, I'm mining on them with xmr-stak and the config file set for cryptonight-v7 (not electroneum since that's for the old algo).

Ravenminer.com is on some shady shit. Beware.

    http://www.ravenminer.com/?address=RTam4qSTrdWgYRSEdXKdV5Ekjq8qDB5EwN

I had nearly 38 coins in my account before the payout but they only sent me 26. No trace of 12 ravens.

See the line going down from 38 to 26 and then 0 but only 1 transaction?

    This needs an explanation.

    Maybe was orfan?

Probably yes. I checked the blocks history and the pool seem to had a lot of orphans around the time you sow this fall and many hours before that. This however doesn't seem to be an issue with the network but with their pool, my pool had just 1 orphan in this period.
    1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: May 31, 2018, 11:32:30 AM
From their Twitter feed (40 minutes ago)

"Blocks have been being mined but have failed due to a handful of pre-fork TXs which we are working with the pools to remove from mempool. We are working on a patch and with pool owners to get things running as fast as possible. Thanks for your patience."
    1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: May 31, 2018, 09:22:23 AM
OK, let's do a simple math.
They are giving miners a 200000 ETN reward for 26 blocks.

    With the 50MH network - 30 times lower than before (if miners will give that power) - calculating 26 blocks will took about 2 min * 30 * 26 = 1560 minutes. And miners will earn 26 * 12000 = 312 000 ETN. Total 500 000 ETN.

But, on the working network miners can mine 30 times more blocks which cost 26 * 30 * 12000 = 9360000 ETN !

So developers want miners to do a 9M ETN work for 200000 ETN reward? Good luck!

Correct me, if I am wrong.

What you call a "working network" is the orphan chain? You can't compare 9,000,000 ETN with 0 value and 200,000 ETN with 0,02$ value.
I don't know how to calculate the current situation but using "whattomine" and inputing the current data, I believe the block time should be 8 to 8.5 minutes at 178.026.651.022 difficulity and 1.48 GHz network speed.
Obviously that's not happening and I don't know what to think... let's hope that after the next block the difficulty will tank hard!

I can't open a reddit link from the office but all I know is that for a long time now their rewards are within the estimates of calculators... Unlike some auto-trading Yiimp-style pools I've tried...
I'm very glad that RVN exists and it didn't have a premine, thanks to that I have a coin I can mine and hold 50%-75% without being robbed by auto-exchangers.
