1781  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why do you mine on deepbit? on: November 01, 2011, 04:14:23 PM
there is no way deepbit is more profitible, I have mine extensively on almost every single pool and I have lost everytime I mined at deepbit

The faster the pool (Deepbit, Ars) the quicker you can profit on the diff. drops....

thats a myth

theres nothing wrong with the payout system, this is how SMPPS works, you should get a payout once every 2 or 3 days read this:

You don't need to fear the US govt seeing through walls, cracking uncrackable encryption, or analyzing your brainwaves.  No the reality is more mundane and much scarier.  They will simply take your civil liberties away, bust into your house without warrant and hold you without due process as an enemy combatant.  Alternatively the President can sign your assassination order with no due process regardless of your Constitutional rights.
Who needs fancy science when you simply use a police state to exercise control?
Far cheaper and far more effective.  Throw a couple surprise twists in American Idol and your neighbors won't even notice it happening.

this is the only statement here that makes sense

sorry but thats not proving it, you made a very serious claim - it's up to you to prove it or we have no reason to believe it.
1792  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1200 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); LP & Ntime, NMC Merged mining on: October 31, 2011, 03:54:26 PM
Mine at a SMPPS pool and then you will love the longer rounds Smiley

Mine at an SMPPS pool with longer rounds and it will take a long time to get your coinage out. I've been waiting for 6 weeks for some coins from bitpit, an ESMPPS pool.

Mine at an SMPPS pool that's had a bunch of shorter rounds and your time to payout is reduced.

eligius takes at the very most 3 days to get a payout but its a big (three days worth) payout

Off topic (sorry Slush) but I'll bite - is this your experience or Eligius' guarantee? If an SMPPS has a run of long blocks and ends up with a negative buffer, you could be waiting more than three days for a payout.

there are plenty of pool stats available including being able to see the actual pool buffer which is huge btw.

It's the only way we can fight all these idiot, fascist cops and not get hurt.

You DO know that BF3 comes with a nifty little tool that lets EA have access to EVERYTHING you have on your computer. Including your wallet.dat.

prove it.

and btw: I am not trying to advertise eligius here just reponding to organofcorti's comment - Slush's pool is a great pool - I mined my first 100+ bitcoins ever at his pool back last spring.
