yes i think --> i make a solo mining on --> stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 on the last rental i had 800 THs on the pool and in the other moment the rental was canceld...
I see on the Solo CKPool website: If you use an incompatible rental service that refuses to work on port 3333 try the following:
solo.ckpool.org:3334
Basically, it's poor stratum implementations that don't support the redirect command in the original stratum specification. No idea why they failed hard implementing that. But why is it only for fixed price? Normal orders work fine. I think they like canceling fixed price orders as the price moves up so it doesn't cut into their profits. Ps. I sent an email last week(again) with all the info and not even a reply back about it.

Hahah, I don't know any homeless guy who thinks a penny is everything to him. Next time try donating a penny to a homeless guy and see if he say thanks or gets pissed off. The gesture is definitely good and I like supporting Kano and the spirit of our pool. I will donate 500,000 Satoshi to the finder of the 500th block.
Last time I tried to give all the change in my pocket to a homeless/bum in front of Home Depot (Maybe 0.60 or so all I had) he yelled at me for not giving enough. Told him to F off and kept my money. When I came out he was waiting at my car, but that is another story for a different type of forum ...

yeah. You can't even wipe your virtual azz with that little. If you want to make a thing of it, why don't we all pool in like 0.01 or something, still small, but enough to be worth it and do something nice. Hire him a hot stripper, or buy him some lace panties. whatever he's into.

the s-7's will do better if they do not break
Many, many of them do.

Surprising that with almost 20PH we have had worse luck than with 10. Seems like the higher the PH, the lower the luck . Could it be an issue related to rented hash? I wonder if the block withholding thing is going in effect here lately..
Is there any way to test for that Kano?

Crap .. For testing I sent a BTC payment of 2BTC somewhere with 20block confirmation set, to see how long it would take vs the usual 5.. It's been stuck 'unconfirmed' for f'ing 6 hours now.. LOL Never had an unconfirmed stuck before. Will it eventually 'return' or is it considered gone ?? I had 1BTC get stuck for 18 hours once... Just have to hope that a lot of CKPool blocks are found to confirm. Yeah that would be nice. Running long this time.

Dunno then. I sent about 5-10 transactions every day on average and have not had anything hang up in many months. I send using 5block confirmation as extra. It's so little, who cares..

I'm really happy to support the Kano pool because Kano and CK are so conscientious about doing everything they can to avoid empty blocks and fighting SPV mining but I'm starting to think bitcoin is heading towards disaster. You can't even do a simple bitcoin transaction without having to wait hours for the first confirmation to take place. It's getting to the point where it's painful to use bitcoin for anything other than just collecting it and wait for prices to go up to cash out. How can you pay for a cup of coffee at Starbucks with BTC and wait for 2 hours for a confirmation before they can give you the coffee? Something has to give here before bitcoin can be used as a mainstream currency but it's heading in the wrong direction. You can't even exchange bitcoin between two bitcoin entities anymore without waiting for hours. If you don't send it with ZERO fees, you won't have to wait... I have not had a confirmation take more than a few minutes in MONTHS.

The above Idea gave me an idea. Kano just picks a Future block number and the miner that hits that block or the first one after it wins the miner. Boom.
Mai Dee. Sorry if I sound harsh, but can we let Kano keep HIS giveaway the way he has decided to run it? And can the newbs stop trying to change things here? Thank You

Having dealt numerous times with Phillipma1957 on and off the forum , I would not consider him a sell out or being paid by anyone for what he does. If he does get paid directly, it is also not our business. He backs his info with facts in any thread he has. He is very helpful on pretty much anything I have ever asked him about in the past. He is one of the very few people we should NOT be worried about being a sell-out on this SCAM-ridden and BS-filled forum... On that note, I started on KANO.IS early last year and have been stuck on it (in a good way). Always earning more than any other pool, even after some less than prosperous days of red blocks. I only wish KANO would have an alt-coin pool.

I would not presume to put words in CapnBDL's post as I'm sure he is quite capable of speaking for himself…I was simply commenting on his actual statement because I would hate to see him step away.
Nobody did such things, hence the term : .....maybe.... meaning not 'definitely', nor 'for sure'... Dictionary definition : adverb 1. perhaps; possibly. "maybe I won't go back" synonyms: perhaps, possibly, conceivably, it could be (that), it is possible (that), for all one knows; More noun 1. a mere possibility or probability. "no ifs, buts, or maybes". I hope that helps explaining to you the meaning of the term I used.. Back to praising the pool.. Thanks Kano.

Hey all, I really need to get lucky and hit for that Avalon or I may be out of mining for BTC. My 2 little S3+'s just aren't paying the electric bill any longer. I hate to have to leave and can't afford to upgrade to an S7. Once those came on-line, my S3+'s became unprofitable to keep running. I will say, "It was a nice run while it lasted, and kano.is is the only place to be." Not sure what I will do yet, but 1TH is like mining for dust now. Thanks kano & ck, it has been an honor, CapnBDL I'm sure you know this but the S7 Batch 9 is only 2.4 BTC each ($902.88)...are you sure you don't have 2.4 BTC stashed somewhere collecting (dirt) dust? Maybe he (like many others) doesn't want to support a shtty company as bitmain and use crappy hardware??
