What's going on with the NEM price? Is somebody manipulating the price to get cheap XEM before Catapult will be released? Or could it be that the ICO's are dumping the price?
its only because BTC is taking a pump because people want free coins after the segwit fork this month. All alts are bleeding out because of this, we have started to recover in price anyways.

Any news regarding the Catapult update? Haven't lookedi n the thread for a while.
Private (mijin) should go live by the end of this year and public (NEM) by mid next year.

In two years what will be price? Any predictions?
$2-$3 at a conservative guess. $5 could even be possible. $10 is very likely within the next decade.

So with IGNIS, if ive been holding NXT since the start, i will be awarded with IGNIS tokens in much the same way as ardor? I shifted some NXT into another address a couple of weeks ago, will this affect my snapshot for the tokens?

Did NEM start with a pure POS when it launched? If so, how did it achieve fair distribution?
There was an airdrop

Dont you just love all the detective work that all our dedicated NEMbers do to find all this news before it is released? I love it! We know XEM will be added to an exchange before its even official!

NEM/XEM on the rise was almost 10% down on 4 weeks ago then boom up 20% in the last couple of hours - any news?
Just your standard pump and dump. I thought there was some big news also when i saw the spike but it seems not. NEM aint no pump and dump

Any reason for this pump?
Ive got a bit and then realised that its shot up over the last 24 hours? Can we expect a dump soon?
Today: In a significant move for Japanese cryptocurrency patriotism, exchange bitFlyer has added Monacoin (MONA) trading to its platform. The homegrown altcoin has a low-key but devoted following in Japan’s mining and online gaming community. https://www.bitsonline.com/bitflyer-adds-monacoin/It was also added recently to Japan's Zaif exchange https://zaif.jp/its doing very well I hate when its called a pump but those are the two biggest reasons imo.. Japanese love the coin and are buying it up, the old supply and demand OK, interesting indeed, and Zaif exchange is owned by Tech bureau which has close ties with NEM and Mijin. Seems Japanese cryptos are doing well, although NEM is not technically Japanese, but has a strong community in Japan.

Thats awesome news! Nem was very popular in China and in some of the Asian Countries! In the light of recent development in China as regard crypto currency, what is going to be the short, medium and long term impact on Nem!
Seems China will just be regulating crypto markets, anyway BTC had the highest impact in China, but the price has been recovering as the rest of the world learns we dont need china! BTW... NEM is very strong in the likes of Japan and Malaysia, which are both crypto friendly...

Each company wants $$$$ to get going and the only way to get it is sell the NEM you raise
The XEM market is way, way too weedy to cope with a wave of ICOs, but of course ICOs drive volume too. It depends though. If there are varying currencies involved there's no reason for anyone to choose XEM over a more liquid one so it'll be squashed flat over and over again. It [COMSA] might hurt NEMs credibility if too many ICOs start popping up with empty promises. The whole Idea of COMSA is to prevent exactly this very thing!

Wow 52 million USD already raised by COMSA ICO! 14 million of it from XEM alone. Amazing...
Too much ... usually such tokens do not take off in price I personally invested because I believe in what they are trying to accomplish and want to support their efforts, ROI is secondary. If they are successful, they will increase the value of XEM. Any increase in the value of CSM will be cream on the top. Same here Tehfiend, I never invested in any ICO, With the exception of COMSA. I like the project, the team, the technical approach, and the huge potential of value COMSA will add to NEM. I invested in COMSA mainly to support their efforts in solving some of the major problems in crypto space today: A regulated ICO platform that is free of scam, atomic swapping exchange, NEM's USDT like tokens, cross blockchain tokens NEM+ETH, solid security features in unitizing a private blockchain "Mijin", and more. Where COMSA might seem to be just an ICO platform, in reality it is way much more. COMSA is the way forward with ICO's that can be trusted. It can only be a positive step in the right direction.
