181  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the Digital Yuan makes China even more powerful? on: November 01, 2020, 10:03:07 PM
I don't think that the power of China depends on digital Yuan. Yes, it might help but it's definitely not crucial. Further power and wealth of China depends on on its trade and investment in Europe as well as relations with US which we will know more about after the election.
There are many factors and digital Yuan has a very small and unimportant role, that is my opinion.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 01, 2020, 08:11:51 PM
I would say these are some general rules for all games and gamblingd, not only sports betting. Managing risk, having patientce and cool head as well as to know your limits is something every gambler should have on its mind but in practice things often turn out very different. Knowing yourself and your own psychology is very important if you are gambler.
183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 myths about crypto trading tools on: November 01, 2020, 05:40:51 PM
Stop loss could be helpful but you can't rely only on it.
Trading demands dedication to the market and your full attention if you want to see some results and make some profit. I don't think there is any tool that can replace human reaction and decision making.
To my opinion the main myth about any crypto tool is that it can make trading instead of you.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: US economy won’t be charging upwards like we had hoped for on: November 01, 2020, 01:27:11 PM
More companies have been suffering the worst days of business. Everyone are much concerned about the president election scheduled for this month. Once after the election there'll be sudden boost in the economy, particularly with the stocks. This growth is temporary and the same might be taken forward based on the money flow created by the forming government.

Many businesses and companies are struggling to survive but the worst thing is that we still don't see the end of this crisis.
Elections are close but who knows how the situation will develope afterwards, it might be better but it might be even worse. No one can't guarantee the boost and growth, this time situation is much more complicated and it's not only depending on politics. Pandemic at the moment has the greatest power.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: November 01, 2020, 11:36:36 AM
I can't say I watch Vuelta very carefully but I drop an eye from time to time.
Roglic is my favourite although he might not have the biggest chance to win the race but this year Tour the France showed us that everything is possible. But the most important is the good and exciting race.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American election is nothing to do with BTC on: November 01, 2020, 10:35:19 AM
Not in the short term, but lets see what happens, because sonner or later btc needs some regulation...

Why?

Why would a project that works perfectly for over 10 years, "sooner or later need some regulation"?

Don't just post statements on these boards without any solid arguments.

Well, I have to say that I agree Bitcoin needs regulation and here are the reason. If we want mass adoption and acceptance by business on a larger scale, if we want Bitcoin to be the part of financial system and people have confidence in it and that they are protected in case of misuse then we need regulation and legal security
If nothing of these is necessary for Bitcoin then things can remain the same as they are now.
But of course anything of these isn't connected to US elections.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: October 31, 2020, 09:52:23 PM
There are many reasons why Bitcoin can't replace fiat currencies and some are volatility and limited supply. Also, so far we have very low acceptance and don't forget that some people don't even have electricity and they can only dream on internet.
But I don't even think that Bitcoin should take the role of fiat and when we look at cryptocurrencies world Bitcoin already is number one and it will stay so.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: October 31, 2020, 08:45:50 PM
Both are good options, everything depends on your preferences.
Trading is active earning of Bitcoin and holding gives you psssive income. If you don't have enough time, knowledge and experience then holding is maybe better for you.
To my opinion combination of trading and holding is the best option and optimum ratio of handling risk and making profit.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 31, 2020, 06:29:04 PM
I think it does because I would have a smaller amount to play with when the price gets high so it would also limit my gameplays.
But it doesn't affect my strategies I would still play how I used to play no matter what the price would be the only thing that would be change is my bets.

The solution is to play with fiat, so you can always exchange amount that would not exceed your usual funds for playing.
The good thing is that no matter the Bitcoin price passionate gamblers will always find the way and funds to play, whether in cryptocurrency or fiat.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin cross $15k in end of 2020 on: October 31, 2020, 03:55:38 PM
I think yes because of recent news of bitcoin that paypal except bitcoin...
What's your opinion
Its already got a huge bull run and kissed the 14k$ in several times .Its a great chance to reach the 15k$ at the end of this year .Its really true that the Paypal news has made the changes of the trend strongly bow its going through it .However its a great chance in upcoming year as well to get the new ATH level  .

I wouldn't agree, we haven't seen any huge bull run and although the price is rising it's quite moderate and it's hard to tell for how long is this going to last
15000$ is possible but I don't think this will happen by the end of this year. To my opinion another correction is possible and price might pull back below 12000$.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 31, 2020, 12:25:00 PM
To be honest, in most cases I don't. But I avoid new gambling sites without reputation or with any suspicious feature. It's not a good habbit and TOS should be always read to avoid any misunderstanding or unpleasant situation later. But just like with any other site I believe that most people don't read it but when some problems appear they can't say they were not aquatinted with TOS because they are on every site.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't money and that isn't bad! on: October 31, 2020, 07:56:21 AM
Maybe initial definition of Bitcoin isn't money and its role isn't to replace fiat but that still doesn't mean it can't be used as money.
Bitcoin is widely used as payment method and that is increasing all the time so we can consider Bitcoin to be a digital form of money so it's not only asset or store of value in narrow sense
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: October 30, 2020, 11:01:58 PM
The first time I ever voted on a Presidential election was 2016.  I was sold on the fact that Hilary was going to win, and put a decent amount down.  Needless to say I ended up not winning that bet.  This is a difficult thing to ever bet for myself personally, again that is, but I guess when you've got a 50/50 chance, it's never a horrible bet lol. Good luck to those who are betting this!

O think in this elections everything is possible and yes, chances are 50/50 on both sides. That is a good bet but still I will skip it, not my cup of tea
However, this will be one of the most unpredictable and most exciting bets so fingers crossed for everyone who bets.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain losses over $13.6 billion due to hacker attacks on: October 30, 2020, 09:34:26 PM
Hackers are always after something valuable and Bitcoin is not exception. And it's still easier and less risky to still Bitcoin than fiat money and it's much harder to trace it.
Hackers attacks are increasing and we might expect this trend to continue especially if Bitcoin value will rise and exchanges are especially vulnerable.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 30, 2020, 05:55:21 PM
As I couldn't complete the question in the title, below it is:

How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but could not get it into the site because either the fee was low based on that time or they credit it after some confirms. Fee has become the talk of crypto nerds and everyone thinks that it is already so high. What will happen when price is high and miners increase fee, mempool is clogged and you have your favorite winning bet available right there on the table but your btc is in your wallet and you want it to reach the gambling site anyhow to bet and win? Give your valuable opinions as they matter.
It wasn't hard for me to choose the first option in the poll because I don't have such strong feelings about gambling. I'm never absolutely sure about the bet I'm about to make, and I'm never eager to get so much as to pay crazy fees. Moreover, I usually bet in advance, so this situation when I'd have to pay the fees to get the money asap is unlikely.

That is pretty reasonable thinking and that is how I would do it. But I can understand that some gamblers are so passionate about gambling and eager that they make some unreasonable moves that can even harm them. For them it's very hard to keep cool head. I wonder if they calculate extremely high fees and unconfirmed transactions into gambling loss.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 30, 2020, 04:30:28 PM
We have to learn to not chase the recovery on gambling. We only have to play with money that we are ready to lose, when we lose money that we need and use more money we need for other stuff trying to recover it and lose all then we ruin our lives. We have to play it smart and learn when to take a win and when to take a loss.

These are some basic rules, don't bet more than you can afford to lose, don't try to recover loss with more reckless gambling, don't be greedy and similar. The problem is that many ignore these rules in the passion off the game, especially when trying to recover the loss thinking that just the next game will be the winning one. That usually leads to even bigger loss and at the end you find yourself in a trap.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 30, 2020, 02:07:06 PM
I think it's the logical follow up. If Bitcoin price increases that much, which I doubt, the fee will also rise, although not necessarily to huge amount. Miners, exchanges and other services also want their part of this cake and that can't be avoided but that is also fair. High Bitcoin price also has its own price, we have to accept that. Bitcoin transactions will never be for free.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 01:02:50 PM
It's not very likely that Bitcoin reaches that price, at least not in near future.
I always use approximately same amount for gambling. So in this hypothetical case that Bitcoin price reached enormous price I will convert usual amount to fiat and gamble it. But this is not going to happen, I'm convinced.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 10:29:57 AM
It was an accident yes but it could have been avoided if only the organizer follows the protocol there wouldn't have been a raid.
I feel sorry for the Police officers family they lost him because of the people who didn't follow the law.

Exactly, it was completely tragic and unnecessary death that could have been avoided.
I"m strongly against any kind of animals fight and betting on that so I think that gamblers shouldn't support such cruel and illegal activities. Even if maybe they are legal or tolerated in some countries they should be banned.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 29, 2020, 09:51:33 PM
With the poll at the start, only 5 voters participated so far. So I am assuming most of those who commented on this thread have no preference, whether the current set-up is a success or failure.
It is interesting that only 8 people have voted so far and I also find it interesting that not a single one has voted for the failure option, but in a way this is understandable after all if the options are to have some sports on the screen with a lot of restrictions put in place and to not have anything then most people will prefer to have some sports even if the feeling of excitement is not the same and will consider this to be a success, and I feel the same, it is obvious that it is not what we all want but I am glad that we have sports back as it is also important to keep ourselves happy especially now that the threat of a lockdown seems like it is about to make a comeback all over the world.

People are probably confused and don't know what to think anymore. Yes, from one point of view is better to have at least something than nothing but them again it's not good enough because it's not the same feeling, the same excitement. Also, having in mind development of pandemic we don't even know if we'll ever get back to normal that we once new before. However, I hope that we'll have at least some sports to bet and enjoy.
