181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: March 29, 2024, 01:21:41 AM
There are reports that David Benavidez pleaded Turki Alalshikh to make the fight between him and Canelo. But Turki says no, however, he said that he can fight the winner of this fight in June.

https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1771550634942111745

Well I can't blame Alalshikh, Canelo is clearly doesn't like no part of Benavidez and that's why he is not a fan of it. And for sure Canelo will command big money here, although the Saudis have that kind of money, I don't think though that they'll simply bow down on Canelo here.

So June perhaps, then after that, Bivol and Beterbiev can have their rematch.

What are your thoughts on this proposal?

This will certainly be a checkmate on Canelo from David Benavidez assuming Benavidez will win the light heavyweight championship hehehe. Benavidez knows that Canelo wants a light heavyweight championship before he retires and he also certainly knows that Canelo is avoiding him in the super middleweight division. The solution is to win the unified light heavyweight championships hehehehee. This will be the perfect fight for the both of them because Canelo wants to fight for his legacy and Benavidez wants to fight to become the next big name in the sport of boxing. Also, the purse for each will be very big hehe.

It's already checkmate for him as he is avoiding David Benavidez like a plague. And I don't think that he will go 175 lbs, those 3 are waiting for him. He only went to 175 lbs when it has a weak champion in Kovalev. And he did try to go up again and thought that Bivol is easy.

I disagree. It will only be checkmate if Canelo needs to fight David Benavidez for his legacy and win the light heavyweight championships hehehe. However, this is only if Benavidez can win against Bivol or Beterbiev which will ceertainly be very difficult.

But the skeptical me thinks Canelo is only waiting for the timing for this fight vs. Benavidez and the amount of the purse will determine if it is good timing or not hehehehehe.

The long dance between David Benavidez and Canelo Alvarez never resulted in a fight, and Alvarez has taken plenty of heat for "ducking" the undefeated super middleweight champion. In the latest video from Benavidez, he took less than seven seconds to prove why Canelo may be wise to avoid his lightning fists.

@Rikafip. It is headshaking that these mainstream news media outlets were declaring lifetime imprisonment for Sam very much similar to the hot chocolate man Bernie hehehe. However, presently this 25 years sentence appears that he might be free within 10 years because of his parents political connections with the government.

In any case, I have not been following the news updates on Caroline and Gary Wang. I reckon if Sam has gotten only 25 years, they will get no prison time for being witnesses?
183  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC vs Coinbase on: March 28, 2024, 05:28:06 AM
News update.

According to this mainstream news media outlet, the SEC scored a big win. This is headshaking because if the SEC is going to lose in court, we can be quite certain that it will set another precedent and they will never do this regulation through enforcement again. This is not a victory for the SEC, this is certainly more pressure.

The Securities and Exchange Commission scored a major win in its lawsuit against Coinbase
on Wednesday, as a judge ruled that its claim that the cryptocurrency exchange engaged in unregistered sales of securities could be heard by a jury at trial.

Coinbase’s shares fell around 2.5% on news of the ruling in Manhattan federal court rejecting its bid to dismiss the SEC’s complaint.

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on the Ethereum Network on: March 28, 2024, 04:35:17 AM
BlackRock definitely has something in it's mind. First they get involved in crypto space by applying for bitcoin ETF then they apply for ethereum ETF and now the tokenized fund.
I must say, BlackRock is slowly tightening its grip in the crypto community and soon it will try to manipulate it to it's benefits.
Things will become more centralized and that is not good for the crypto community.
Blackrock, is definitely up to something bigger in the crypto space, they probably want to have main stakes in top cryptocurrencies and they'll have certain autonomy over them, meaning that they can manipulate the decentralization of a coin like Bitcoin, to their advantage. But looking at it from the business angle, Blackrock, is now a pioneer in the adoption of cryptocurrency, more investors have entered the space and areas of making money have increased significantly, hopefully if Ethereum ETF is approved, it'll be another milestone for Blackrock, and investors.

I reckon the next speculation should be what cryptocoin is next to be supported by Blackrock and the next to have a spot ETF? I predict this to be Solana and this might make it pump higher than Binance smartchain in market capitalization. If their developers can fix Solana's network congestion and problems of going offline, might it be a possibility that SOL might also pump above Ethereum's market capitalization within 10 years?

Now, Solana has again surpassed Ethereum in other terms as it takes the lead in weekly stablecoin transfer volume. The investors chased yields, airdrops, and high returns from the memecoin buzz. The volume soared beyond $360 billion, overtaking the volume of Ethereum of around $150 to $153 billion.

With this, Solana accounts for nearly 42% of the total stablecoin market share, a significant rise from 1.9%, a year ago. This may also have a major impact on the SOL price, which is at the foothills of a major explosion.

Source https://coinpedia.org/price-analysis/after-dex-volume-solana-surpasses-ethereum-again-heres-where-the-sol-price-may-go-next/

Seems interesting but VCs already have a huge chunk of Solana coins along with them which already makes it more centralized.
If Blackrock decides to launch a SOL ETF it will either be an easy way for the VCs to exit since the liquidity will sucked up by Blackrock or the price will drive further upwards since ETF will boost the price thus making Solana more centralized than ever.

We can speculate on Solana, VC and decentralization, however, the only data that might make the argument on Blackrock creating a Solana spot ETF is the usage data. I reckon if something is popular enough for the community, it will also become popular for institutional investors. It appears that the people that creates attractors in the cryptospace is the community not the rulers. This is very much an opposite against traditional finance hehehe.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFTs just marketing gimmicks with no added value? on: March 28, 2024, 03:19:20 AM
For the most part yes.  Just like with ordinals.  I honestly don't understand why bitcoin devs even waisted their time on them.  Is/was that really necessary? How about spending time improving the blockchain or working on satoshis proposed escrow that doesn't involve a 3rd party.

Now some NFL teams used NFTs for game tickets.  Now that's legit utility.  I know there's stuff in the gaming and music world that can utilize them in some fashion that is legit, but I don't really understand how they work.

However, very much similar to the art collecting community and the market behind this, the NFTspace appears to have become developed into something similar where money will be laundered in these markets and this will be liquidity that will be greeted and accepted happily.

Also, the development of new NFT standards like erc404 will create new types of usecases where big inflows will go and where new markets will be created.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden resurrects 30% crypto mining tax in new budget proposal on: March 28, 2024, 02:08:54 AM
Yet another proposal thread being portrayed like it will definitely become a law in the future. Personally, I don't think this particular proposal will be approved though we never know.

Also, it's hilarious seeing naive people think that Trump would magically care about crypto investors. Most government heads will always try their best to suppress the power of crypto.

I predict that if the Donald Trump will win the presidency of America, his administration will certainly treat the cryptospace much better than the Biden administration has treated this. The Donald will want to regulate this, however, it will not be similar to how uncle Gary has done where he is doing regulation through enforcement. The Donald's tactic of regulating the cryptospace will be more diplomatic and fair. We can be quite sure of this.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: March 27, 2024, 06:11:29 AM
@morvillz7z. I will not be worried. This is very much similar to the decreasing viewership and ratings on movies because of the woke agenda. The movie industry is slowly removing themselves from this to increase back viewership and ratings again hehehe. I speculate if the ratings on the NFL go down because of these changes, we can be quite certain that they will also return to the old roughness of the game.

189  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKX terminates services in India, asks users to withdraw funds by April 30 on: March 27, 2024, 01:28:40 AM
@hugeblack. This might be because Kucoin has much more users who are located in India than OKX and losing these users by leaving the jurisdiction might have a very big negative impact on Kucoin's revenue.

This might also imply, Kucoin wants to expand in India where other exchanges are speculated to leave. This certainly is a good business decision, I reckon.

Also, the purse for each will be very big hehe.
And if that is the case then Canelo might stay at the super middleweight division and not chase the light weight as the big 3 might give him another losses specially Benavidez who is really hot on his tail. There is one interview of Benavidez and says that if Canelo thinks he is a nobody, then why he doesn't want to fight me? or something like that. And then on the money that Canelo is asking, Benavidez says why Canelo is demanding that $150-$200 million? so that he could buy a new set of balls"? Lol. But he has a point though, is Canelo afraid of losing again that why when he see someone that can potentially beat him, will ask for a huge sum of mone?

However, it appears that Canelo's real reason why he does not want to fight David Benavidez is the money might not be enough compared to the risk that he might lose all of his championships to Benavidez. If this is true, I reckon Benavidez's challenge against the champions of light heavyweight might be his strategy to be known as a big name in boxing that can offer Canelo money and more to his legacy if Canelo is victorious.

If we are being honest with ourselves, David Benavidez is not a very known name in boxing. Ask anyone who is David Benavidez, no one will know. However, ask them who is Canelo, I am quite certain there will be some people who will say they know the name.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 26, 2024, 05:19:52 AM
@Hirose UK. Was it not mentioned before that King Ry suffered from depression? Might this behavior really be a symptom of manic depression? However, if the story about the Bohemian Grove and being forced to watch sex between underaged women are real, I will not be shocked. It was only yesterday when the rapper P Diddy was raided in his own home because he is a suspected sex trafficer of underaged girls.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents have opened an investigation of hip-hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs, searching his properties in Los Angeles and the Miami area, agency officials said on Monday.
The inquiry was led by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents in New York, where a lawsuit was filed against Combs by a former girlfriend in federal court in November accusing him of engaging in sex trafficking.

192  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: March 26, 2024, 04:05:17 AM
Does anyone here know whether there could be a chance for Futuur to cover or offer markets for people to bet on the incoming elections of Venezuela?
It seems there are not many markets opened for people to participate on it, because of the alledged irregularities which could be going on within a system under the control of the regime of Maduro.
I would even be willing to participate with such markets even though the odds of the candidates show to be very irregular because of the cheating which is expected to happen.  Sad

It kind of sucks the elections of the United States of the American eclipse most of the elections which are expected to take place through this year. I get USA is politically the center of the western democracy, but still there should be some options for other elections to be betted on.

Hello Hispo!

You can always suggest new market to us here

We have many markets about Venezuela, including the incoming elections, take a look:

Will Venezuela hold fair presidential elections by the end of 2024?

Will Nicolas Maduro still be president of Venezuela by the end of 2024?

Will María Corina Machado be arrested by the end of 2024?

Will PSUV win the 2024 election?

Will Venezuela’s economic activity increase by more than 1.0% in Q1?

Would it be a possibility to create a market for the movie Dune 2 and if it can win awards in next year's Oscar awards? How much odds to win for Dune 2 if the bet is it will win all of best picture, best director and best adapted screenplay if this is offered this early? Will the odds for this reach 20.00 or more than this? I want to bet this and I am quite certain there are many fans of the movie who wants to bet this also heheheh.
193  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: March 26, 2024, 03:29:42 AM
@zasad@. I am not quite certain what you are implying when you mentioned the social rating system because those wallets in the blockchain are anonymous. However, I agree that there are these wallets that were involved in receiving stolen coins but what I am arguing about are the identities of the wallets. Lazarus Group's wallet is only an allegation that it belongs to North Korean hackers. We cannot be sure that there are North Korean hackers because we do not know or cannot prove that they have good programmers and computer scientists in their country. They might not also have internet hehehehe.
194  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKX terminates services in India, asks users to withdraw funds by April 30 on: March 26, 2024, 02:42:19 AM
@Darker45. If that is true and if we are being fair on the Indian government, they might want to start the regulations on the cryptospace from zero. They will first ban all exchanges, create a regulatory template that you mentioned, then begin accepting exchanges under the rules of the template. This might not be a bad roadmap hehe. However, the small projects with anonymous developers of DeFi will be their problem. They will certainly not follow the rules imposed by the regulatory template.

Here's the article which was published December of last year. The regulatory framework I was talking about is mentioned there.

To be fair, if I were the Indian government, I would have done the same. India offers such a huge market, the top country as per "Chainalysis’ global crypto adoption index of 2022," but how are they benefitting from the profitable operations of Binance, Kraken, KuCoin, and others? These top exchanges are illegally operating. Why should they be allowed to do that?

So, perhaps the right way is for the government to subject them all to regulations. It's either they comply or perish. At the end of the day, these are private companies, centralized entities that should be held accountable for what they're offering to Indian citizens.

They are not operating illegally, only in the grey area hehehe. They do not have the laws created to legally put Binance executives in prison or to fine them. This is why they will impose a new regulatory template on them. My only wish is they will not follow what the roadmap being created by the cretins in the American government where want to KYC your wallets and want to make your transactions and trades through registered brokers. I have argued about this many times in the forum, however, this does not appear to be killing self custody for some people.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 25, 2024, 03:12:39 AM
^^ Really hard to read what on Ryan's mind right now, if we check his social media, there are videos of him training. But still there are also a lot of fans trolling on him and he was forced to response. So it could still be Ryan going to continue with this fight and training very hard with Derrick James. However, we can't take away from the fans what they are seeing on Ryan to think that Garcia wanted to postponed it. But we will see what happens next, the fight is still on unless we get official announcement from any of the camp. And obviously all the blame will be on Ryan here, and we don't know how he will respond to the trolls after as he will play the mental issues card.

I have read an article that mentioned King Ry has been saying that he has been kidnapped and taken to the Bohemian Grove and he was forced to watch live pornography between 2 underaged teenagers. It appears that he is saying this has affected his mind and it might be giving him difficulty in training.

There is a conspiracy theory that politicians, the most wealthy CEOs and famous celebrities meet every year in the Bohemian Grove. This is where they discuss their roadmap for America and the American people.

@notblox1. Agreed on Namajunas. Also, do you know who is Rose's favorite training partner and friend? It is the beautiful and sexy Valentina Shevchenko! I reckon Thug Rose will certainly want to have revenge for her friend. Valentina's last fight against Alexa Grasso was a draw, however, Valentina was the real winner of the fight, I reckon. The skeptical me thinks that they cannot give it to her because it was the UFC's celebration of Mexican independence day hehehehe. Will it be a trilogy? We cannot be quite certain. Valentina has been very silent after the fight.

@Hispo. This US elections on November with Trump vs. the puppet Biden and the puppeteers Hilary and Barrack will be one of the most entertaining political encounter of the year. Also, gamblers like to bet on the things that they have more information and occurences that the watch and read everyday. American politics can be seen everywhere on the internet even for people who do not live in America.

On the Venezuelan elections, I agree that it is also important for the people outside of Venezuela because American policy appears to be affected depeding on who becomes their president. However, there are not many people that are interested in this.

In any case, who is the Venezualan candidate that is rumored to be supported by the American government? Argentina appears to be under the operation to adopt the dollar hehehe. It is speculated that their new president was supported by the United States during the election.

Haha, love the joke about being the new mayor of Ethereum! While I don't know about skipping research, billionaires gotta be careful too!

Sounds like a step towards real-world assets on the blockchain, which could be huge. It not only demonstrates confidence in blockchain technology but also opens new avenues for investors to participate in the digital economy. Maybe BUIDL is just the first move. And a BlackRock stablecoin? Now that would be a game-changer, Tether could be sweating! It'll be interesting to see how these projects evolve and whether they can address the challenges associated with maintaining stability in the volatile crypto markets.

Hehehe he is the new mayor of Bitcoin already but it also appears that he wants the mayorship of Ethereum also hehehehe.  On real world assets, agreed! Blackrock appears to already have a roadmap for this and we can be quite certain that this will not only be traditional financial assets and real estate, Blackrock might also issue their own stablecoin through a company of their creation.

I am not quite certain if many people have been paying attention, however, there were some people who have speculated that the next trending storyline will be real world assets on the blockchain.

I am not quite certain if this has been mentioned in this thread before, however, everyone should first test their ID for KYC confirmation before sending very big deposits on any gambling website and also confirm that people under their jurisdiction are allowed to play in this website. Having a small amount of money frozen is okay, however, having more than $10k frozen in a casino because you did not read the terms of service or you did not test your ID for KYC is partly the bettor's responsibility.
