181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: July 04, 2023, 09:54:17 PM
Yes, you read that accurately.

If I buy several lottery tickets and then leave my account dormant for a long time, say at least 6 months, and my ticket wins the jackpot during that time.
Will anything happen to my prize money? Will the casino refund my money because I never claimed any of the rewards?

It's just a thought I've had for a while and decided to ask here in the community.

But why would you win and leave your prize at the first place and Is the casino your site or are you the co-founder?
Typically everyone who bought the lottery ticket and plays probably wins there are some specify time frame you would be given to come complain your winnings otherwise it could be withheld from you as the winner. But bear it that they always required their players to be more familiarize their ToS and of course every single players must read the team and conditions.
^This is what I said earlier in my post, everything is probably in TOS that I stated about all terms that you should follow as a bettor.
That is also a good question in the first place, why do you leave your winning on the gambling platform for a long time, for me, I will leave a gambling casino when my balance becomes empty, as long as I can able to bet, I will never leave that casino.
However, we should also be careful about leaving funds on such casinos because there are some casinos that will lock your account when you are not active for 6 months or more.

^I don't know which lottery casino you are talking but I am sure that is an online casino.
However, all your questions will probably be answered if you will read the TOS of which casino you are talking about, everything was on the TOS and each casino has its own terms regarding this matter.
Based on the Freebitco.in and I checked it now, it will never get expired.
You can ask this on the casino staff too.

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: July 01, 2023, 08:49:22 PM
Invest according to your plan - if you want to be a long-term holder, then you should be able to safely buy it now. Dollar Cost Averaging [DCA] - that's what you need to think about if you want to do entry. If you're in doubt - then don't do an all-budget entry but consider DCA.
~snip~
^ That is a good recommendation.
DCA would be a perfect way to buy and considering not thinking it is a trap because you buy at a low price.
Because for me, DCA allows you to benefit from averaging out your costs. When prices are high, you buy fewer coins or ETH with your fixed investment amount. Conversely, when prices are low, your fixed investment amount buys more potential crypto including ETH. By doing this it can potentially lower your average purchase price over time and increase your overall investment return if the price will surge back.
Remember that DCA helps instill discipline and a long-term investment mindset, particularly in volatile markets like cryptocurrencies. By continuing to invest consistently regardless of short-term market fluctuations, you can stay focused on your investment goals and avoid reacting emotionally to market ups and downs.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: July 01, 2023, 08:36:10 PM
If the price of Bitcoin has reached 100k$ then transactions will continue and as it happens today, because there is still hope Bitcoin can reach 1 million dollars because the value of Bitcoin has no limit, although later there will be a decrease it will only occur half of the price and there is definitely a high possibility that it can increase again, it is the same as we feel today, In the past, the value of Bitcoin was very low and far like the value that is happening today, then everything will continue to rotate as it is today even though the value has reached 100k$.
^Definitely right.
People will likely continue to buy BTC even if the price reaches all-time highs (ATH) or even exceeds $100k. BTC price has shown a remarkable ability to attract investors and maintain its popularity over the years, even through significant price fluctuations.
As you can see the BTC's price volatility can present trading opportunities for speculators and active traders. Some individuals may be attracted to the potential profits that can be made by correctly timing the market, even during periods of high prices. These traders may utilize technical analysis, market trends, or other strategies to have almost accurate predictions and capitalize on short-term price movements.
I think it is because of the fear of missing out on potential gains, commonly known as FOMO, that can drive people to invest in BTC, even at high prices. If they believe the price could rise further, they may choose to buy now rather than regretting not doing so later.
187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One or more trading strategies, which one do you prefer? on: July 01, 2023, 08:22:03 PM
I think it's more correct to choose one strategy to work with. In this case, the trader has a really better chance of success.
^ Nope, I don't agree with you.
Don't stick to one strategy especially if you have failed on it so many times.
However, the decision of whether to have multiple strategies or stick with one in crypto trading depends on your trading style and goals. Multiple strategies can offer diversification and potentially reduce risk, allowing you to adapt to different market conditions. Having multiple strategies requires more time, and expertise, and can create psychological challenges. It is important to find a balance that suitable to your objectives, risk level, and personal preferences. Consider experimenting with different strategies in a simulated or small-scale trading environment to determine their effectiveness before committing significant capital.
So, therefore, I voted more strategies would be good.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: July 01, 2023, 08:09:10 PM
Yeah when dealing with parlay you needed to be extra careful as the house will attract you with lots of available combinations, if you are good in analyzing with value bets it might give you some good chance of winning decently, a matter of good practices and more on controlling your emotions, just make sure that you understand the game and you are not just placing your bet just because of odds.
^That is definitely right and I agree with you more.
Parlay bets require extra caution and careful analysis and we know this.
Having multiple combinations can be enticing, but it is important to have them with a strategic mindset. Analyzing value bets and having up-to-date information with the team that has match decisions can indeed increase your chances of winning decently. Emotion control plays a crucial role in gambling, as it is important to base your bets on a solid understanding of the game rather than being swayed solely by odds. By practicing good discipline and ensuring you have a thorough grasp of the game dynamics, you can make more calculated and rational betting choices. Remember, responsible gambling involves making to limit ourself while keeping our emotions in check as always.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 01, 2023, 07:58:48 PM
For me I don't think I have any specific time or way that I practice my gambling habits, for me its all about the moment, whenever I feel like gambling and I know I have spare cash am not using I just fund my wallet and start forecasting for some nice games to put my cash on. But for sport betting I prefer just betting on teams I have passion for so I guess for that aspect it will be on an occasional period for example like this period when not much league are in action I just snub sport betting because I don't feel comfortable putting my money on teams I have no idea about.
^ That is quite a good idea and thank you for sharing your perspective on your gambling habits.
I think it is important to be mindful of your financial situation and ensure that you have spare cash before engaging in gambling activities. It is also great that you follow your passion when it comes to sports betting and choose to bet on teams you have knowledge of and interest in. This could be can enhance your enjoyment and potentially improve your chances of making an accurate bet. It is understandable that you probably do not feel comfortable betting on teams you have no knowledge about, especially during periods when fewer leagues are in action. Remember to always gamble responsibly, stay within your limits, and should gamble for fun not chasing lose.
190  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: July 01, 2023, 07:48:06 PM
Has anyone recorded themselves logging into their utility website ( showing the bill ) Then logging into their bank and showing payment. Uploading this video to youtube. Linking this youtube video on a pdf page and then uploading the pdf with the link?

~snip~

And yes, people saying 6k is not a lot to stake. Maybe, Maybe not but its a lot to me ;(
^Not yet but I remember I came across a thread that talked about this when submitting KYC verification and I never thought it was the same on Stake.com. It seems awful to them right? Satunna or stake.com staff did not give their opinion here, so what is the use of their ANN thread if they can't give time to answer people's concerns?
Yes that is a lot of money and I hope someday you will get your fund and follow their requirements, that is the problem, we are begging to get back our money and we don't have the right to get it back easily. So if you will deposit into a gambling casino make sure it is a small amount that you can afford.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: June 30, 2023, 10:23:01 PM
Binance's native blockchain token (BNB) experienced a dip in price after the SEC fiasco. The exchange is facing heavy pressure by the US government regulatory agency. If Binance wins a lawsuit against the SEC, BNB's price could go all the way to the moon in an instant. But if it loses, BNB could experience new lows until it goes below the "triple digits".
The problem here is that the SEC chairman Gary Gensler is targeting Binance because they rejected his proposal to become their advisor before he became the chairman and with the FTX fiasco they will be closely monitoring the activities by all the major exchanges and hence it is wise to wait till this situation is over before investing in any exchange tokens.
^ I think you are right and you have a better perspective on the price.
When a cryptocurrency exchange or any company faces regulatory challenges, such as those involving the SEC, it can introduce uncertainties and risks to the investment landscape. These challenges may impact the future prospects and performance of the company and its associated tokens. Investing in such a situation can carry increased risks, as the outcome of the regulatory actions and their potential consequences may be uncertain. Because for me, it requires careful consideration and analysis of the specific circumstances surrounding the company and its regulatory issues. I would rather go on BTC than BNB, but if you are willing to risk, only the amount that you can afford.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 30, 2023, 10:03:55 PM
My next Bitcoin awareness approach now are the children, there are many kids in my family and very soon our get-together tradition is approaching, I need your help in this forum if this is possible.

I remember when I was little, I love reading books that have good pictures on them, like comics and novels painted with amazing pictures, from Peter Pan to DareDevil and Supergirl, while growing up as an adult I ended giving out these comics to my cousins.

My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.

^Try to search on amazon.com if I am right there are too many BTC books there.
One option is the book titled (Bitcoin and the Power It Holds) by Timi Ajiboye, which is designed to educate children about the concept of BTC in a simplified and engaging manner. This book features colorful illustrations and presents the story of a young boy named Timi who learns about BTC from his father. It explains key aspects of BTC, such as decentralization and blockchain technology, in a way that is accessible to young readers.
Another potential choice is (Bitcoin Money) A Tale of Bitville Discovering Good Money" by Michael Caras. This storybook introduces the concept of money and explores BTC as an alternative form of currency. It offers an engaging narrative and vibrant illustrations that can capture the attention of children while providing them with a basic understanding of BTC. Try to search it first and you will know.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price dropping, any reason the huge dump? on: June 30, 2023, 09:47:53 PM
SEC issues again and of course that a resistance level, and its not easy to break it.
This could be another opportunity for us to accumulate, don’t listen to those FUD and continue to buy more. This is why implementing ETF is still not possible with SEC, they have so many issues about it. Again, don’t panic and see this as a buying phase again.
^ I agree and that is definitely right the line that I highlighted above, don't panic.
Instead, make this opportunity to fulfill your bag again and hold it while it has a BTC price resistance. I suggest also doing a DCA or buying BTC, instead of making a single large purchase, you may consider spreading your investment over time using a strategy called dollar-cost averaging. This involves investing a fixed amount at regular intervals, regardless of the price. This strategy can help mitigate the risk of making a large investment at an unfavorable price. The main reason would be all CEXs were facing the same issue against on SEC which is government pushing it right now.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 30, 2023, 09:38:53 PM
It is boring betting on a football match after it has started. The possibility of a wrong prediction is very high. Also, there would be too many dissenting and voices in my head that would lead to confusion and sometimes downright refusing to bet on the game. Because I do not want to have to deal with that I do what works for me and that is to place my bet before the game begins so that I can either carry on with other activities or simply sit and enjoy watching the game with a bottle of cold Heineken. Some other sports bettor may be able to do the both smoothly like the user above, it can not be me.
^That is sometimes possible but I think the multitude of differing opinions and thoughts that arise during the game can lead to confusion and even make you hesitant to place a bet. It is important to find a betting strategy that works best for you, and in your case, placing your bet before the game begins allows you to focus on other activities or simply enjoy watching the game while savoring a cold bottle of Heineken. Everyone has their own preferences and strategies, and what matters most is finding an approach that suits you personally.
I will go on a very exciting moment to bet while it was not started yet while watching the match.
195  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 30, 2023, 09:30:55 PM
well, most of the time, it is none of casino's business where you got the money but the player should always check the ToS of the site to avoid possible problem. because once they saw some unusual activities or amounts in your account, they might flag you down.
there may be gamblers who are washing their money via casinos, but it is how you play your cards not to get caught. so the probability of washing money in casinos is always there, especially if the wagering requirements is low.
Yes, there's the probability of washing crypto through the use of casinos but if check the risk involve in losing all the funds I don't think it is something anyone should try. Remember "not your key, not your coin" especially now that most casinos are changing their TOS.
When privacy is a top priority it is better to use a crypto tumbler site and a good anonymous exchange than use a casino where the risk is high.
^Definitely right that there is a possibility of laundering cryptocurrency through casinos. However, it is important to consider the risks involved, such as the potential loss of all funds. As the saying goes, "not your key, not your coin," which is especially relevant given the changing terms of service (TOS) in many casinos. If privacy is a major concern, it would be wiser to use a crypto tumbler site or coin mixer and a reputable anonymous exchange. By doing so, the risks associated with using a casino can be minimized, offering a safer and more secure approach to protecting one's assets while maintaining anonymity.
196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 29, 2023, 10:52:18 PM

But if we talk about money laundering, the casino has the separate security for that.  The wagering requirement is not to prevent mone laundering or washing coins but rather as a requirement so that a casino can have the chance to at least eat some of the gambler's balance.
Why would casinos have that house edge and wagering requirement for them to compel players to play and lose but casinos will mark you as a launderer if you use the casino as a transit point when you deposit you have to play, there is no reason why you'll deposit and not play, but casino is not a good choice for money laundering because they have wagering requirement as we all know and even if the chance to win is high, there's still a risk to lose everything, money launderer will take a chance on mixer, no requirements and no KYC involve.
^That is correct, I am a shoe of a money launderer I will not choose the gambling casino to mix money because that is very risky on my part as I know that the gambling casino always looking for a KYC verification. So ideally, that is not a good option to choose a gambling casino for a fraud like this, even if the chances of winning may be perceived as high, gambling outcomes are ultimately unpredictable, and there is always a possibility of losing the deposited funds. Money launderers tend to opt for alternative methods, such as cryptocurrency mixers or other platforms that offer anonymity and lack the stringent regulations and requirements of legitimate casinos and you are right.
197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Website Recommendations on: June 29, 2023, 03:12:19 PM
Looking for websites to move my referral program to, from bcgame. I have a very successful campaign on stake and bcgame with 6 figure earnings, but bcgame has nerfed my affiliate % from 35 to 9.8. If any website has a better affiliate program and can offer some sort of welcome bonus for my high roller referrals on sign up, please let me know. Would be highly appreciated.

Check out Wolf.Bet --> https://partners.wolf.bet/

One of the best affiliate programs I have come across with them literally not charging any admin fee(s) and giving you revenue share deals (default is only 5% but that`s to avoid abuse, contact them for a better deal). They just don`t offer typical welcome bonuses. On the positive side, KYC isn`t mandatory, withdrawals are quick, lots of cryptos are accepted, thousands of 3rd party games, best dice game there is... Smiley
^I believed this man of what he suggested because he is an expert on this affiliate program.
@OP, you can visit his ANN thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262141.0. You can p[probably send him a PM regarding your question. In addition, there are also other affiliate websites here that are also experts in affiliating and probably they know much better which casinos offer high affiliate rewards.

198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: June 29, 2023, 02:49:00 PM
There are many groups we cannot trust their reputation by providing with gambling odds, the reason why you discover seeing gamblers interested in looking after such plaforms is for them to be able to get opportunities for betting odds and free winning additional informations they could adopt to also increases their chances.

Don't you think that these groups are similar to the pump & dump group? I won't say that all of them are not worthy to follow, even if you follow then they cannot be accurate always. If they prove that they are correct they will ask you to become a paid member. I would always avoid paid signal groups as they always con the member that joins. It is not easy, still, it is possible to make your own calls if you invest a lot of time. Another thing is to gather as much data on the performance of a particular team and players to make a good prediction.
^It could be the same with match-fixing right?
It is not impossible that there is a group of individuals that has insider information or attempts to manipulate the outcome of a match but I think it is extremely rare and constitutes a serious breach of the integrity of the gambling industry which now does not long last.
So if there is a group offering something like this paid membership, that is likely a scam and people must stay away from that service offer. Probably there is a community like this in our forum which discusses publicly regarding gambling events, not the future result.
199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 29, 2023, 02:31:22 PM
As we know that most gambling sites will require you to gamble and wager your whole balance once, before you can cash out or withdraw from the gambling site and they take this measure so people do not do money laundering whereby deposit and withdraw without gambling.

Now the point here is that on the gambling site, there are many easy winning bets with odds like 1.01x etc. If the money lauder is sensible he can easily be wagering the whole amount by placing a few bets where the odds are very low and the winning chances are 99%.

So does this mean that there is a loophole here and the money launderers can easily by pass this wagering requirement?
^That is possible that will happen and who knows then.
However, though that is possible will happen we know that gambling sites employ various measures to detect and prevent money laundering activities. These measures include identity verification, transaction monitoring, and flagging suspicious betting patterns. If a player consistently places high-volume wagers with extremely low odds, it would likely raise red flags and trigger further scrutiny of the player that is put into suspicious activity. That is the reason why the legitimate gambling casino applied KYC verification just because of this purpose.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: June 28, 2023, 10:41:46 PM

~snip~
If they can able to apply such ban then why cant on other countries?
But its true that there's still way on bypassing these bans if those gamblers would really be tending on doing so.It is really just that
due to too much exposure into gambling, youth nowadays do really gets involvement now.
^That is a very simple reason, because not all countries have the same law and jurisdiction.
The ability to ban ads locally or globally depends on various factors, including the legal frameworks and regulations in place within each jurisdiction. While some jurisdictions have the authority to ban certain types of ads within their own borders, implementing a global ban on ads would require coordinated efforts among multiple countries and organizations. So tick to the point, this forum does not follow any jurisdiction and we are all free what we are going to do.
