As of now, Litecoin has been going on a decline since December according to the market history of it. If people where to continue using Litecoin, then I think once the price of Bitcoin has gone up, the price of Litecoin in terms of Dollars would also rise along Bitcoin. I don't really see much of a potential in Litecoin though as it is just a copy of Bitcoin but we will see in the few months.

I think the probably is that they are not paying much attention to the users and that money is their first priority. Most of the hacks are coming from those large exchanges. Even small exchanges are more secured than this big exchanges. Also, I think those hacks is an inside job and that to prevent any further news, they are hiding it by saying it's the securities fault. The hackers are getting smarter each day, I wish the exchanges too.

I think the safest exchange you could withdraw is using your local exchanges. If you want to use an international exchange, then you probably might use Bittrex or Binance. Those exchanges are good and have high security and fast enough. But you should try localbitcoins, I think it would suit you. Like here in the Philippines, we use our local exchange to buy a lot of things aside from withdrawing money.

That's a good "reliable" news source you got there, I hope those things are true though. I've been buying altcoins and Bitcoins for the past few days now. I think the market has stabilize a little bit for us to accumulate and wait for the bull run this December. Anything could happen though, let's just hope for the best.

I don't 100% agree but I think stupidity is one of the reason why there are people who lacks financially. Most of the times, poverty is being pass down by parents which resulted into those children a lot of choice, to either be contented with their life or work hard to be rich. But sometimes, luck plays a vital role in being financially dependent. Also, there are kids who are stupid but rich because they inherited their parents fortune. Life's unfair but we have to play by the rules.

I really can't say that what you did is wrong but I think it would be wise to also invest into banks because you have large capital in your hands and it banks is one of the safest investment with you. At least give a percent investment in bank though. I think you did a good call for investing now because Bitcoin's price has dump since February which I think this time of the month is the lowest we could see. If you are patient enough, you could triple or double your money in a year.

I've only been into cryptocurrency for about one year now and learned a lot of things as the time goes by. It has been like this for about 8 years now and that people it is continuous. Investors saw the opportunity, when they accumulated enough coins in their portfolio, they started to dump as soon as it hits the all time high and that's when shit happens. A sell off has been made and it created panic for all the investors of the market, then partner it with bias medias and holidays. I think it will repeat itself again in Q4 this year.

This kind of news would poison the minds of this sheep investors who are new to cryptocurrency but that's just it. I don't really see much of an impact that "Asian Whale" would do though because it has been happening before and Bitcoin still continue to grow. The news is just dumb, rich investors are not stupid enough to make a huge sell-off this time around. Even if the funds are getting moved out, it doesn't mean that a sell-off would happen this early. And another thing, I don't think that a one person would accumulate that much Bitcoin, I think it's a group or a corporation that are handling those coins.

I know it's kind of frustrating that some coins cannot be stored using a hardware wallet, but we have to play by the rules. If you really want to know if your wallet that you are going to download is legit, you must first go visit their official website or you could search their official thread here in Bitcointalk.org because most coins tend to have a thread here that have all the necessity that you need. About storing your coins in some big exchanges, it is still not safe even though you have 2FA on because the bigger the exchanges, the more likely it will get hack and lose your funds in the process.

Yes, you are actually right. Those factors that you've mentioned are the usual mistake that people make, but you might have forgot something to list and that is the ability to research first before going all out. Investors tend to just invest into something that is hot. Most altcoins nowadays get shill and newbie investors would buy that piece not knowing it's a trap set by those whales or those pump and dump groups. But people always learn from mistakes no matter the circumstances which will lead him to success. Oh and also greed.

As far as I know, people tend to use this to profit most of the time but I know some friends who use Bitcoin to buy something like for example, steam wallet, cellular load, paying bills, etc. I personally use Bitcoin for my convenience but it's limited. It's just that, there are only few merchants who accept Bitcoin as a payment because of it's volatility. Also, when you are transferring Bitcoin from one another, the network fees vary and it would affect the profit and the price of a product which led me to the conclusion that you are right in a way.

As we all know that to make optimal profit here in cryptocurrency specifically in investing bitcoin is to buy low price for bitcoin and sell in higher price. This is why others think that holding is the best way to earn and in fact they are right. So for those who are still eyeing to invest in bitcoin this is a call for you to invest now while market price is still low.
I also think that the current price of Bitcoin is at its lowest right now. Since this is a cryptocurrency, any movement of a price could happen here either be it downward or upward. But I can see that a bull run would occur later this year though which is why I am stocking as much as I can with Bitcoin and my favorite altcoins like Etheruem and Monero. I think we could beat our all time high this year.

There are actually a lot of coins to choose from as the market is down for the moment. Of course Bitcoin is one of my bet as it is one of the most reputable coin in the entire cryptocurrency space and that it is proven to be one of the most safest and profitable coin to invest to. But there are some other altcoins that I've been eyeing on right now like Monero, Dash, and PRiVCY. I think this coins would have a lot of chance to grow this year not just in price but also in technology.

I agree that the cause of the problem we are facing right now is the greed of the people. Investors and medias alike tend to refer Bitcoin as an investment. It kind of hide the purpose of why was Bitcoin created in the first place. But I don't think that we could be able to fix "ourselves" as it is in our blood, a human nature I should say. I think maybe in the later years people will be able to see the real value of Bitcoin, its real purpose in the world. Let's just hope for the best.

I've only been into cryptocurrency for about 1 year at least and so I conclude that anything could happen by the end of the year. Bitcoin could surpass its all time high way beyond or it could fall. Let us base everything in the market history. Every year, Bitcoin is increasing in price no matter how much it fall through out the year, but then what if Bitcoin repeats itself? No one knows what will happen exactly but I am hoping for the bright future of Cryptocurrencies specially Bitcoin.
