1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan as the Next Big Destination for iGaming Operators? on: May 10, 2019, 06:28:40 AM
Wow! Until now Japan never fails me to get amazed with their of living. I mean, how ironic that they are only a small country where scarcity of resources is expected but still they achieved being ine of the richest country in the whole world. For me it was a great move for them to enlarge their gambling industry in a sense that it encourages foreigners to visit their country thus resulting to much livelier tourism which leads to huge open job opportunities foe their countrymen. But aside from that, they should be strict for implementing rules and regulations as well to place all things in order, if most of the Japanese people are naturally obsessed playing with video games then what more if what they're playing now involves money Cheesy.
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coins to invest before bullrun (if happen) on: May 09, 2019, 02:37:57 PM
I know there are a lot of thread like this, but I want to know your opinions.
Yeah, you're right. There are already tons of threads which are same as yours that existed before. But anyway, for me that's still okay because I respect your the way you think and the way you post. But a friendly advice, avoid making such threads as much as possible because critics are everywhere Grin.
I have kin, pundix and xlm on my radar, but Im looking also ffor small cap coins. I already have some of nio, hbz, xspec. Which coins now are good to buy I want to invest some more.
I am not familiar with those coins, are they really worth to hodl? Hmm, I don't think so. I know that as btc rises alts rises too but the question is that can they sustain it in the long run. Hence, you should pick much stable coins like xrp, ltc, eth, or doge.
1803  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Has Been Hacked - Lost 7,074 BTC on: May 09, 2019, 10:43:26 AM
Binance has been considered one of the safest exchange out there. If hackers can penetrate with all the security measures then it proves that much more needs to be done to secure investors funds.
I observed lately that many news report about this incident spread like a wildfire in social medias which definitely got a bad side for both parties (Binance itself, customers and future investors) because money is not the only one which is lost here, their good impression to the people was affected as well.

Anyway, Yes! We all knew that the Binance is on the top of the pyramid when it comes to exchanges but it doesn't mean that they are perfect already. Committing mistakes is inevitable, the important thing is they try to make up on the damage they've been made. The following quote posted by 1Referee  is the best to describe the current situation Grin, I agree on it.

People somehow thought Binance was a fort knox that would never get hacked, well, they were wrong. Roll Eyes
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current bounty campaigns that can make you rich? on: May 09, 2019, 12:16:49 AM
There is no such thing like that mate. You can't get rich just by joining bounty or even signature campaigns. Well, maybe if you already join campaigns on the past three 3 yrs and choose to hodl the accumulated earnkng you have then maybe you now have a good profit especially if that particular coin has a big value if you convert it into the fiat you're using in your country(e.g 1 btc = Php 300,000 while it is only equivalent to 6000 in dollars).

If I were you, I'll invest my extra money to crypto and do a long term holding or if you can daytrade then much better. Bounties offers small amount of money so if you want to become rich only by means of that then it will be a little bit long journey for you Grin.
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: May 08, 2019, 02:28:13 PM
Either altcoin or bitcoin, you should starting to hoard right now. Why? Because FUDs about Binance' security breach incident are now spreading so fast. I'm just worrying that it could greatly affect the market. Okay, let's assume that btc's price was the only coin affected but it doesn't mean that the rest will not fall down. Remember, btc can greatly influence the rest of listed coins in the market so if it is the one which is affected then possible outcomes might be not good as well.

I don't mean to make you guys panic, it is only my own perspective.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: withdrawals closed and 7000 BTC evaporated ==> 🔴Binance hacked🔴 on: May 08, 2019, 04:42:49 AM
If they told us that there is "something strange" happened then so be it, besides, we don't have any choice but to believe. Honestly, I can't sense that they are up into something simply because their excellent reputation is at risk if they do even a little shady stuff right there (maybe there is really a security breach). I'm pretty sure they still choose continuous profits of their exchange over the 7000 btc in their storage so don't panic guys, all of you are in the safe hands Smiley.
1807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me?? on: May 07, 2019, 06:46:00 PM
Hey! guys, I am looking for a small investment on a trading platform. I am looking for 10$ investment, hope you guys can suggest a coin which I can trade and make a profit...
Trading with the use of $10 as a capital, I think it wasn't enough for you to do that. Your $10 can only afford hodling. If I were you I will not yet look for a new coin because such platform is not yet highly guaranteed. What I mean is shitcoins are everywhere and it's not impossible for you to pick it, doing so might just lead you to become more prone to losses. Much better if you will save it in your piggy bank first and continue saving money, when your accumulated fund able to grow larger then that's the right time for you to mind such kind of things. However, if you are now very eager to invest then try btc or eth first, do not jump.into alts because they are harder to handle.
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes hodlers make on: May 07, 2019, 02:41:52 PM
Actually you almost nailed it but let's get the thought. For me, one of the most common mistakes committed by a long term holder is high expecetations. Okay! Let's don't too far. You said to your example that others foresee that btc's price will hit $10k mark this month, see? They're expecting toi much and the sad part here is that they already forgot to cherish and make the most of what we have right now. They fail to make small profits from these small rise simply because they're thinking that they could earn even more next time in which there is no assurance that it will happen. What is the main root of this? Greed of money, no doubt Sad.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 07, 2019, 12:19:45 PM
I know my statement may sound pretty hostile on this part of the board
Based on my impression you are not so hostile, you are very brave instead. Imagine, you have the guts to post this knowing the tendencies of getting bashed lol.
It shouldn't be, and children at a young age should be stopped from gambling until they know the horrible outcomes that gambling can cause. I support every effort by regulators to stem out the bad actors in the gambling field in order to stop children from being hooked on this.
Bad actors? What do you exactly mean by that? Gambling is bad (based on Bible and humanitarian laws) thus people who do such thing is bad as well, so are you pertaining to all of us? Grin

Another thing, I think any casinos and gambling sites nor its owners are not the main responsible for children to get addicted in gambling because they're just doing their business. I'm pretty sure as well that they only intend to advertise their services only to adults so why should we blame them? If a particular child got exposed and the worst is getting addicted to gambling then it's their parents main fault because they fail to enact full guidance to their child. It's their obligation in the first place.
I'd like one of you to change my mind, or at least make me think different about gambling. Because as of right now, I have a pretty negative view on it.
Please don't be, try appreciating its benfit and advantages it could bring. Well, I know that we can't deny the harmful effects of it but every thing got its own silver lining right Wink?
1810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to buy cryptocurrency for 10.000USD today.... on: May 07, 2019, 10:20:06 AM
What kind of question is that? Of course the majority would go for btc since it is more trustworthy than the other one. But anyway, each one of us got their own preference and own reasons why they will pick a certain coin and I respect that Grin.

However, preference is not the main criteria of picking a coin so you should be very careful because we are all talking about money here. My advise is to stick with btc or eth only if you are a small investor (the ones who just go for hodling) because you can't handle the pressure of unstable market for sure so to keep safe you must buy the most stable coins in the market. If you are daytrader then I don't see any problem on the coin which you will pick assuming that it wasn't a shitcoin; picking IOTA? That's not a problem knowing the fact that it is the Rank 17 coin based on CMC.
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: May 07, 2019, 07:55:09 AM
Now the bull market has come
I don't think so mate, this is not yet the bull run we are all dreaming of. IMO the market is still on its recovery stage and as we look to CMC the latest update on btc's price is $5.9k+ (still very far from the $20k we experienced last 2017). Nevertheless, this uptrend we are experiencing right now was a great sign but for the meantime let's keep being patient Smiley.
1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Existing problems totally unsolved on: May 06, 2019, 10:37:17 PM
Well, for me that was an expected thing. In my perspective most of the ICO or IEO investors do not come for the purpose of such coin and dreaming that it will become to btc someday or at least become a stable coin, they invest because they want to have a fats money so what they tend to do is dump once that particular coin is listed. In short, they are only taking advantage to the hype produced by that coin. So if you are only a small investor I advice you to invest more with btc or famous alts because earning is guaranteed Smiley.
1813  Economy / Gambling / Re: LamboForBitcoin.com *Win A Lamborghini Huracan With The Ultimate BTC Draw* on: May 06, 2019, 12:54:11 PM
LOL, its real LAMBORGHINI TOY free from buying diesel and gasoline on Petron gas station! I was surprised that 90% of the tickets had been already sold but no winner was announced on May 1, 2019?
Seems very strange right? Hmm, I smell "scam" in the air Grin. Me also, got surprised because many holders got baited by this one. Based on the latest update, tickets are now 92% before sold out. But aside from being amazed on how they get so many customers, I'm also quite alarmed and worried because they're still able to get buyers despite the fact that OP already have a red tag.

What's their problem, are they blind or just greedy to get this Lambo? (Probably the latter one applies *sigh). Actually their website already looks suspicious for me as I visited simply because it is not secured after all (there's no padlock symbol), if you were a smart investor then you should notice even those little details, right?

1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fake money? Think again! on: May 04, 2019, 09:35:05 AM
Should we confront more people with the argument that most of the digital items that are bought online, might have less value than Crypto currencies.  Wink
Why mind confronting them? It might only cause you trouble especially when the person you are talking into is ill tempered or prideful Grin. If I were you, I'll explain my side when someone ask me or when the situation calls it because that's a safer way to introduce it. Actually, I experienced bad things in the past when I was active promoting btc to my friends (getting ignored and doubted, I already learn from it and of course I also don't want others to feel the same way that's why I'm saying this.
1818  Economy / Economics / Re: Asset multiples at highest since two previous global crashes on: May 04, 2019, 02:23:40 AM
"Bitcoin is a bubble". O really?! What is this then?!
Before, I don't believe thay btc is a bubble but not I realized some things. Now, I agree that btc is a bubble because it expands (like the 2017 ATH) and also pops (the days after that) but wait, I'm not finished yet. In my own perspective, btc is a bubble but an infinite bubble Grin. I used the term "infinite" because it moves in a cycle, yeah it bursts in a certain time but it recovers once again and expand. See? It moves round and round. Hence, I am no longer afraid of dips even how hard it is because I knew and I believe that someday btc will rise again Smiley.
1819  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for improving local boards? on: May 04, 2019, 12:34:34 AM
What are your Ideas to encourage newbies to make a good-quality discussion in local boards "Encourage them to create topics and then improve the quality of those posts"?
II have no objection when it comes to improving the quality of posts but letting them to create topics? Nah, I don't agree because things would be a total mess. I'm not saying that newbies don't have the right to open their own threads, what I only mean is that they should learn first even only these 2 things: 1) learn any stuffs involving to crypto world for the sake of having good content and 2) learn to weigh whether is it really appropriate to open a thread for such topic or not. If they learn these two basic things then there would be no problem, however, newbies are newbies so it's natural if it takes a lot of time for them to do so.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just worrying of future conflicts like tons of irrelevant or repeated discussions on our local boards once we encourage them. Instead of being helpful it's destroying our forum (once again). But anyway, I still believe that there are existing good newbies out there who are obedient and got a presence of mind.

1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 237: Namajunas vs. Andrade on: May 03, 2019, 01:29:31 PM
To be honest, I'm not totally a fan of those women UFC fights because I don't even know, maybe because their matches are boring most of the time and the action they made is not so intense compare to men's division. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a sexist or whatsoever. Actually I like it somehow particularly the fights of Rousey and Nuņez.

Anyway, going back to the topic, I choose Namajunas not because of being a champ but because of being down to earth. She is very humble but has a dragon hidden inside of herself and unleash it when she is already inside the octagon. That attitude was so admiring (it made me remember after she destroyed
Jedrzejczyk lol, karma is real).

Smiley
While on the part on Jared Cannonier Vs Anderson Silva I guess that Cannonier could win this fight because I really think Silva was not so well in the fights anymore after his leg injury to Weidman his career was set back entirely, and his performance was not quite the same in my opinion, I really think that his Injury and his old age was dragging him down.
I don't want to underestimate Silva but this time my inner self tells me to do so. I guess it's the right time for SIlva yo retire because he is not already on his prime. Besides, he already proved to the whole world that he was a legendary fighter, that's not bad at all. I thought that he can still fight inside the octagon but I suddenly change my mind after I watched his loss to Adesanya. Nevertheless, props to this guy Smiley.
