The higher the price goes up, the bigger the price crash it's going to be. There are going to be some very angry buyers in the next few weeks. That is my prediction. It just takes one of these big early miners to dump all their coins and you will see some epic price crashing.
Maybe so, but keep in mind Max promoted the shit out of Bitcoin and got onboard many big name Bitcoin investors. Max is also shareholder in Bitpay and other important Bitcoin businesses. I can easily see MaxCoin being more popular than stuff like Doge, Feathercoin and so on, that don't have such big brand and name behind. If that's the case, then I'll buy in after the market crashes. If it doesn't crash, then I will miss out, but at the same time, if it does, I'd lose a hell of a lot. Too risky for me. I think it already crashed from 0.04-0.03 to 0.004. It's now stable around 0.004-0.005. A relatively small crash, considering I'm willing to bet there are still some big Maxcoin holders right now. I'll wait until it hits a few more exchanges and see what happens.

http://www.reddit.com/r/preminecoinPMC has been pretty quiet on Reddit. Let's change that! I can't wait to start tipping people in /r/dogecoin preminecoin and dogecoin at the same time. That should draw some attention Yes, I really should comment with my reddit account more often. Block rewards are almost reaching 1 PMC each. Great mining rewards right now. If this were a coin with a total coin cap of 21,000,000 like Bitcoin, then that would be a 42 coin block reward. That's a fantastic reward!

The launch was a disaster. Too few people profited from it early on, so the coin distribution is terrible. If they hadn't screwed this coin up so much it would be nicely distributed, but as it stands there are people with hundreds of Maxcoins and given the current pricing they could crash the market at a whim.
It doesn't matter how well it gets from here on out. The launch has created some very big coin holders who hold a great level of influence over the value of the Maxcoins in your pocket. You've been warned.

Is there some giveaway? 1M34N5JhqfiWM4ypqExWe22mPHJ1Ybqef6 Also my wallet freezes up every so often, latest was a day ago and i didn't realize until i checked cgminer, i found this happens every couple of days and i have to restart, any ideas what might cause this? That's very odd. I run my block rewarder regularly and haven't noticed any freezing, but I'm not constantly mining so it's possible. Could be dust? Lots of small amounts in the wallet can cause the wallet to hog CPU. Check your CPU usage on the wallet next time it happens. Or try sending all your coins back to yourself to one wallet account to consolidate your PMC.

|
|
I'm taking the block rewarder offline for a couple of minutes while I make a couple of changes.
Edit: Back up and running now. I had to change the safe storage address to a dedicated account so I can keep track of them, and also increase the tx fee buffer for coin movement, as sending large donations to the block rewarder could sometimes crash the script if the network tx fees are high.
Thank you to the person who donated 133.70 PMC. The block rewarder has probably received enough donations to run at this speed for several weeks. You are really helping to secure Premine's future.

|
Someone just donated another 200 PMC to the block rewarder. Thank you! I may have to increase the payouts at this rate. Block rewarder will now automatically be topped back up to 150 PMC, the current safe threshold.

|
|
I'm decreasing the time between reward payouts! Block Rewarder Status: Live Block Rewarder Pot: 57 PMC (Maximum: 150) Time: 5 Seconds (minimum) between Payouts Block Reward: Minimum 0.01000000, Maximum: ? ? ? (Previous Max reward: 0.43000086) Block Rewards per block 1x, 2x, 3x Block Explorer Payout Address: Link Donation Address: 1CUWaAoF1pPthNqzudZBaM38LgzyeQ4JiV Block rewards are spitting out around 0.3/0.4 PMC right now, and there can be multiple of these rewards in each mined block, so get mining! Block rewards could go even higher at this speed between rewards!

Looking for some Premine coins! My wallet is feeling lonely...
1GbsQbGefcRonrdfDSWLrMKwPohis17Kzx
Thank you anonymous donor! I got a few coins now. I got my brother to install and sent my him a few! I like how everyone spreads the love when they get coins. Reminds me of the generosity in the Dogecoin community (except for the abundance of 1 cent tips haha) Lol. Yep. That's the whole point of this, right? Basically yes. The coin gains value and acceptance by being distributed to as many people as possible. By giving it away you actually make it more valuable. I have a lot yet to give away, but as the price continues going up I'll have to think about development bounties. Premine needs services soon, and we're not far away from getting to a price point where that is possible.

I know the new rules state that giveaway threads are a big no no now, but I would like some clarification;
- Can giveaways/promotions be held in the main coin thread if the thread poster is OK with this? - Would I be allowed to post a thread in the trading section enabling me to purchase signature space for coins?
Thank you very much.

I'm keeping my wallet open from yesterday, but the "Stake" field is always 0.00 MINT...
It's necessary solo mining to make minting???
No. Staking will happen after some time, month or so. Read the specs again. After the first month you can stake every day or so, but the dust (a lot of small amounts generated) will slow down your cpu. It is therefore better to transfer it to antoher addres and restart staking, thereby removing the dust. Simpler way to do this is to open the wallet every week or so. That way you will generate bigger amounts. It does not mean that you will get more coins overall. In fact, you will maybe get less money then opening the wallet frequently, but it's a very small difference. NB Transfer it to a new address when you have too much dust, when it takes a lot of time to open your wallet. Just going to tag this so I remember.

"Fuck the banks coin" must be without premine. You got 3%!!!!!!
And how are you different from banks?
I agree that 3% is far too high of a Premine. I would like to see at least 2% of that given away asap. It's a lot. I think this coin is great, but nobody will accept a Premine above 1% anymore. If the dev is looking for an escrow to keep part of the Premine safe, then I would be happy to do so. He can either set a timeframe until they're returned, or some sort of conditions as to what they can/can't be used for. I've been with this coin from the very start. I can keep it in cold storage in a publicly announced address for everyone to see. My only concern is the future of the coin. If the Dev wants to discuss it he can drop me a PM.

Thanks for the new thread, dev. We needed it now that the project is in capable hands and the coin is really starting to go places. Not sure why the image lost its transparency, but here you go; Might need a better image host, but that'll do for now. The image should be; Try that instead.

Strong hand here. Still have my 150k. Not a massive stake, but I know Particle will be big.

0.0005 @ Poloniex. Still meaningless though.

Next Bounty:
29250
100 PMC
I was almost tempted to put my own 333 mhash/sec eruptor on this, but I would only distribute it anyway, so good luck to the winner!

What chaos ! It appears that coins are released and 'just like that' have amazing support here on the forum. If you support a coin, a new one or older one I wonder why you are so anxious to see your favorite coin be listed so you can 'exchange it' for bitcoin. A real supporter of any coin would not want to do that. A real supporter would hold their favorite coin. I understand being listed on exchanges helps visability of coins but most people making coins have no purpose or goal other than to earn btc. There are probably only a few dozen coins or less that were not created to 'enrich' the creators.
You realise this applies to every altcoin right? Only add more mature coins then, more then a couple of weeks old at least, but what you said applies to every single altcoin ever.

if you don't want this post to be deleted ,don't post your address here let's make a thread on reddit instead then to get more activity over there I don't think the mods mind this stuff provided it"s kept in the main thread. We could always ask in the technical section for clarification.
