How about trying to get DGB on leaugue of legends, Path of exile or steam? Ever thought about any of those? All of them have a good base of regular players and ingame purchases in Lol and PoE.
+1000 Steam should be interested in cryptos. Dream on. Steam would never allow anything on the platform that they didn't own or control. If they were interested in cryptocurrencies they would make and use their own in order to have full control of it. Well, does Steam control Visa and Paypal? I don't see any reason why they shouldn't accept cryptocurrencies as payment in the future. LOL - it's hardly the same - if you don't understand that then keep dreaming but it's never going to happen at least not until Digibyte is as big a player as Visa or Paypal.

If you think Unitus was put in place to replace myriadcoin you have completely missed the point Really what is that point? If it puts me off then it's really not going to help people who are less knowledgeable about MYR.

this might be a dumb question lol, but where does the fee for example let's say 0.001 dgb go to if you make a transaction?
If it's the same as Bitcoin (and all other cryptos I know of) the fees go back into the mining rewards. The idea is (at least it was with Bitcoin) that as the regular mining rewards from un-mined coins declined they would be substituted/replaced by the transaction fees. From the mining end you get rewarded with both newly mined coins plus a share of transaction fees. Whether this works or not is a matter of debate and depends very much on how large the transaction fees are, the value of the cryptocurrency and the number of transactions being made.

Also is it just me or does the little robot dude in the promotional material look a bit childish (not to mention wimpy and very 1990s)?

On a serious note (although I still want a serious answer to my SUBWAY question ) - I listen to a lot of podcasts (it is the future of media you know) and a lot of them have problems with donations and getting enough money to pay their costs. A lot of them could benefit from the micropayment model using something like DigiByte. They would definitely be an important area to address and market the benefits of DigiByte to.

Is Jared the SUBWAY guy? (who was on South Park) - I must know!

I'm totally with you nzsquirrell!
We all need to chip in!
For example, there are community members who are providing mining pools, others block explorer, others network status page and mining calculators etc. Everyone is welcome to create and provide services on top of the Unitus blockchain.
This coin doesn't have leading developer team, everybody is welcome to contribute...
Alaso, if you don't have time or knowledge for development, always can ask community to collect bounty and hire some for proposed new feature implementation.
Maybe you could chip in with VAULT given that it's just tumbleweeds there now.

Has anyone successfully compiled a mac wallet? Also any update on the official mac wallet fund? It's really quite bad for a major crypto like myriad to be without a working (local) mac wallet when every shitclone seems to have one.

This worked out well despite the disappointment of not meeting the funding target - BlockTrust has shown that they can get people their BTC back successfully and on time. Hopefully that should make it easier for people to invest in the future.

Come on guys......Anybody still there?

Am glad to see SYS continue despite the several months of issues due to Moolah. I've been away due to health issues meaning I've only been able to dip in and out of the crypto world - could a kind soul get me up to speed with SYS? Also what happened with Ryan Kennedy - is he still being prosecuted?

Thanks am not really that interested in faucets as such but was just checking out if they actually worked. It just plain looks bad if the official thread links to malware/spam that opens browser windows without permission add that to the lack of clear information about coin supply and it's likely to put new people off investing or buying Mint.

Super fail on BlockTrust's account. Another hole in the platform...
How is it a fail? Not all projects get the necessary funding, that doesn't mean it's a fail. As far as I'm concerned the only way this is a fail is if they fail to return the contributions. With that said, NOTE, I just received my contribution back (including the miner fee that was paid for my transaction). So blocktrust, thus far is trustworthy to me, as well as the entire SendChat team. Guess we can wait a few more days to make sure 100% everyone gets their contribution back, but I don't think anyone is going to get shammed. I'm still waiting for my contribution back. Am disappointed this failed because to be honest 350BTC right now is not a lot of money so it should have been a dead cert to meet the funding amount.

Well this could still be resurrected if the takeover team got some balls (instead of hiding) and offered to pass on the reins to someone else.

The cyan rainbow faucet is one of those fake virus scan sites and the other faucet sends you to some spammy gaming site. Both of these should be removed immediately. It would make more sense to have an official faucet that doesn't spam people or try to install malware. Also the specs don't mention anything about the total number of coins. Pretty poor for a coin that's a year old.
Are you referencing Page 1 of this thread? Maybe Jessica can update it. I never had a problem with this faucet http://multifaucet.tk/index.php?faucet=MINTCan anyone else verify / confirm if a faucet link should be taken down? Yes the first faucet sends you to a fake virus scan site when you click to get your coins, the one that you mention sends you off to some unrelated gaming site when you do the same. Probably best to test them yourself.
