i've been trying to post on the newbie forum for days now and get the same error.. lets see if it goes in

edit - wow finally

Just make sure you wait the full 6 minutes each time. Log-ins and searches also count.
same problem, i see "Total time logged increases 6 minutes" but i don't post more.
May be i should log out?

What do you mean? Logging in and out again will reset the time back to zero. The time limit goes down the more activity you get.
18242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin be able to Kill the Bank-System ? on: December 30, 2013, 12:38:33 PM
Heard there is a bitcoin atm. Maybe in a few decades banks will start using their own crypto

Why would people use them?
18243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin be able to Kill the Bank-System ? on: December 30, 2013, 12:28:04 PM
Bitcoin can do nothing but as it was programmed to do; the only force of this world who can do anything you've mentioned is people.

This. Could it topple the banks? Absolutely. Will it? Probably not. Most people just don't care enough unfortunately. Apathy is such a human disease.

18247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lets face it, prices will drop coming end of january on: December 30, 2013, 11:49:45 AM
After january, chinese will be out of the game so prices will likely drop very much.
The price dropped 50% when china released some news about banning exchanges.
What do you think will happen when it actually comes into effect? I think we might be seeing 100-200 dollars.

What's happening in January?
18248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice on getting my money back on: December 30, 2013, 11:43:38 AM
There's probably nothing you can do unfortunately. Best you can do is file a police report or something.

Thank you for the advice I will contact them tomorrow do you think they could stop their fraudlent business from operating? I don't want other victims going through the same thing I went through I hope this posts gets views so people can be aware of exchanga scam. It is a good thing that most of you have not heard of them before. Do not trust them. I will continue to stalk each post they make and link it to my post. That is my mission in life now beside my work and drinking Smiley. I hope their fraudulent activities gets shutdown.

Make sure to file a scam report here with evidence. Maybe there's already a thread about this user there since he has many bad feedback.

Is this enough ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=387941.msg4198785#msg4198785 the evidence I have posted is my email chats with xchanga. I do have the payments that I sent them the WU receipts should I put that in their as well? What other evidence would help? How do I file a scam report?

Just file one in the scam report section.

Seems he already has.

There's another scam accusation against him here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=353773.0

Any better sources? Can't say I trust that website. I usually check the Guardian for latest info, but there's nothing on there about it.

18253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: E-bay closed one of my bitcoin ads on: December 30, 2013, 11:19:29 AM
I had two bitcoin ads. One auction and one with fixed price. One of them (auction) was closed saying it violates their policy. They said it should be classified ad format in informational products. Which means you cant get access to feedback or reputation. I can also  see there are lots of bitcoin ads there. So what really is  e-bay policy with bitcoin. I find it confusing.

What were you selling? And ebay doesn't allow the sale of cryptocurrencies, but this doesn't seem to stop hundreds of listings.
18254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin conspiracy theories on: December 30, 2013, 11:13:06 AM
Sorry if this destroys your world view OP, but there is no "backdoor" in SHA256, its a public known and tested algorithm.  One might be able to put a backdoor into an implementation or application based on it, or in a random number generator seeding the algorithm, but the algo itself is sound.  Also, China isn't going to become gold backed, their currency and entire economy is export driven and backed by sales of goods to the west, so they wind up owning lots of our currency (and assets).

OH... REALLY :-)...

http://www.vdschagt.com/bitcoin-surprisingly-dodges-cryptographic-bullet/

Even thought its not connected to bitcoin directly, (it doesnr affect him), its nice to see that all your crypto encryption fate isnt that strong (or rather correct)...

EDIT: Alex Jones is probably a CIA asset or in other words "fake" (and also has a nice business ripping people of), if you didnt realize it yet, you are doomed.

I haven't seen any evidence supporting that he's a CIA asset, but he does seem to be making a decnt living off peddling his paranoia products.

cmon man. say what you want about alex jones but you cant possibly tell me that you think drinking sodium fluoride is a good idea.

Breathing in polluted air and eating most foods isn't a good idea either and probably all gives you cancer.

Hi everyone, Please read this to get an understanding of where I am coming from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=387941.msg4198785#msg4198785. I have done everything Xchanga has told me to and they still have not sent me my BTC that I have paid for or refunded back my money. Could someone give me some advice on who I should call call to get my money back or stop these fraudsters?
Thank you in advance.

Here is the last message they wrote after I sent them my driver licence and bank statement.

Hello Tim,

Please we have seen this and its good and nice and you passed your
verification. We need the verification documents of Eddie. and we must
warn STOP SENDING PEOPLE TO COME AND EMAIL US OR CHAT WITH US ON THIS
YOUR ISSUE. We shall ignore your order and never talk to you for
2months if this happens again.

Send Eddie verification documents and tell him to send it with the
email he used to chat with us. Also everywhere you posted scam about
us must be removed and edited then your btc gets to your wallet.

We wont reply if we do not have Eddie documents from him. and we shall
delete all emails your send or ignore them. Mind you if anyone talks
to us again about this we shall never respond for 2 months on your
issues.

Regards,
The Xchanga Inc Team.

There's probably nothing you can do unfortunately. Best you can do is file a police report or something.

Does look fishy for sure. 0.05 is quite a low amount though. He hardly seems to post looking at his recent history.
