1841  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Apirone.com - crypto payments gateway on: October 24, 2022, 07:57:48 PM
There are many other payment methods available for merchants to accept Bitcoin. How does your service differ from other, more popular services, such as BitPay, Coinbase or CoinGate?
It all comes down to what each individual merchant is looking for in terms of functionality and pricing. Are there any advantages to using your service over the competition?
1842  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Crypto Payment Forwarding and how does it work? on: October 24, 2022, 07:44:37 PM
A temporary address is generated for each payment.

It is needed to identify the order, since a customer can pay partially, from different sources, or at different times, for example. If you use the same address to receive payments, it is difficult to determine who paid you, when, for what, and how much.

So, you are talking about crypto payment gateways and processors? Like BitPay or Coinbase Commerce?
Yes, crypto payment processors are a must for any business that wants to accept cryptocurrency payments. But there is also a self-hosted non-custodial solution - BTCPay Server.

Forwarding is an intermediate option between custodial and non-custodial processing. This is a great way to start and roll out your new projects quickly.

I don't think there's an in-between option between custodial and non-custodial processing. A wallet can be either non-custodial (you hold the private keys) or custodial (the company holding your coins does). There is no middle ground.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How accurate is the BTC RAINBOW chart? on: October 23, 2022, 10:12:54 PM
All of these strategies and methods have been created with a specific purpose in mind. However, there are drawbacks to each, and investors should be sure that they understand these drawbacks before making any type of investment. The rainbow chart is important to keep in mind, especially in times when the markets seem to be on shaky ground. However, there's no one way of investing that will be perfect for all investors. Investors should study the options available to them and determine what investment strategy works best for their specific situation in order to get the results they're looking for. The rainbow chart is one way to help keep investor emotions in check by reminding them of what comes after every storm. But above all, cryptocurrency investing is about educated guesses, educated research, and calculated risks.
1844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I know about Bitcoin on: October 23, 2022, 08:43:35 PM
The world of Bitcoins can be a mystery for beginners. There is a lot to know about it, and this is why you should know that there are people out there who are willing to assist you in every way possible by giving useful information about the said cryptcurrency. Although it's good to have someone you trust who can help you in the beginning, I still think it's the best to be well-informed on your own. You don't need to be a tech-geek or financial expert, just someone who wants to learn the basics of how the cryptocurrency works and ways on how it can improve your life.
1845  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Guide] ✔️🔵 Twitter Verified (blue badge) Sportsbooks and Casinos on: October 23, 2022, 08:26:17 PM
/bump/

Given the popularity of social networking websites like Twitter, it's surprising that many gambling companies don't have verified accounts. So why don't online casinos have (or even want) verified accounts on Twitter? If social networks help drive interest in the brand, and if it's relatively easy to establish an account, why not?
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: October 23, 2022, 02:09:44 PM
Sorry to say, but I've never won anything significant while gambling. I'm not a good gambler, but I do love to play. I've won some money in the past, but it was never more than $100. I would love to win something big, but it just doesn't happen to me.
1847  Other / Off-topic / Re: I need a science whiz for some calculations. on: October 23, 2022, 01:33:06 PM
The size of the shadow cast by an object is the same size as the object regardless of how high it is above the ground. That's because the sun is very far from the earth, so the sun's rays are effectively parallel when they reach the surface of Earth. The only difference you will notice is that the edges of the shadow are less sharp the further away the object is from the surface.

well interesting idea,

but why do I cast a long shadow in the morning and a short shadow in the afternoon and a long shadow in the evening.

if the sunlight was parallel the shadow would not wax and wane.

During morning and evening, the Sun is at a low angle in the sky. This produces long shadows on horizontal surfaces. As such, shadows cast during these times are longer than those cast when its high noon. It's so obvious that I'm not sure what to explain about this. In your initial question you said "a 90 degree angle say at 12 noon".

according to your idea the shadows  are exactly the size of the cloud casting them correct?

Yes, when the Sun is directly above at 90 degrees, the shadows cast by clouds will be approximately equal in size to their own dimensions. (Only possible around the equator at midday.)
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 22, 2022, 11:56:39 PM
To my fellow gambling addicts, I think it is quite difficult to quit the game once you got a taste of victory. But I am sure, you can still hold on a bit for money yet to come, do not play with all your fortune. Hold on some and keep in mind that good luck is never permanent. Don't let your guard down while you're suddenly winning. You might get carried away and end up hurting yourself in the long run. You can always come back to the game whenever you want. So, do not be too hasty in making decisions.

What happens is that I really like the technique of the Croatians, how they play is something that very few see that they have a lot of magic, don't you remember Davor Suker?

Kudos to you for mentioning Davor Suker! He was one of my favorite players when I first started following international football as a kid. I still perfectly remember "Sukerman" and the Croatian team destroying Germany 3-0 in the quarter finals of World Cup 1998.   Cool
1850  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty managers and newbie bounty hunters on: October 22, 2022, 11:02:29 PM
I recently saw that a signature campaign has a merit requirement. If you want to be eligible for that round you must acquire at least 1 merit. Lets say its 6 week campaign and the bounty hunters must acquire 6 merit during the campaign if they want to be eligible. Probably you will say they will make circle on merits but those are only posting their report it will make easier to find them. My idea might be nonsense but there is many people trying to scam projects and managers. If no action is taken, they will continue in the same way.

I think this is a good suggestion as well. Bounty managers should give merit points more meaning in their campaign conditions. Merits should be used for other purposes than just requirement for ranking up.
1851  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty managers and newbie bounty hunters on: October 22, 2022, 07:45:35 PM
So what's the solution? Here's my thoughts on Newbies and what can be done.

1. No more allowing Newbies in campaigns. Make newbies rank up and have something to lose if they're gonna cheat.
2. No neg trusted accounts can join period

I generally support both suggestions. Newbies should really be active in the community before they can apply for bounty campaigns. This would significantly reduce cheating and bounty farming. Regarding the second suggestion, I agree with dkbit98. Each case should be looked at individually because some negative tags may be unfounded.

Now, what about managers? Should we tag managers who are outright being dishonest by allowing Newbies? Or tag managers who really aren't caring about the forum? Should we just hope they will try to make a change? Or does anything really matter?

This is the tricky part. Even if all existing bounty managers agreed to this, what's to stop new bounty managers who don't want to follow these community rules? Tagging them may be a solution, although I'm not sure everyone will agree on this. But even after that, they can still continue with bad practices. Case in point: 1xbit campaigns.
1852  Economy / Gambling / Re: n1bet.com - BIG SCAM AND FRAUD on: October 22, 2022, 06:40:44 PM
I wonder why you can be sure to make a 2400e deposit there, when you can actually test it first with a small deposit to make sure whether the gambling site is really honest or not,
<...>

The OP said that he made 4 deposits, so I'm guessing he didn't deposit all of the €2400 at once. But you're right: It would have been wiser not to proceed with a new deposit without first testing withdrawals - and being sure that there is no problem! I guess he just wasn't expecting the casino to have a problem with his withdrawal request.

as already suggested open a topic also in this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 (SCAM ACCUSATIONS) and send to them the link!
I think it's not advisable get this negative promotion and probably this could help for recovering at least your deposit...

He already did. You can find it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5417972.0

@n1betscam, I think it would be best if you locked this thread since you created an identical one in the Scam accusations board. You can find the option to lock a topic in the lower left corner of your screen.
1853  Economy / Reputation / Re: About My Red Trust (Remove Request) on: October 22, 2022, 01:28:16 PM
Please review these red trusts and give me one more change to become more active and effective member.

As others have already mentioned, your trust feedback should not prevent you from becoming a more active or participating member of this community. The fact that your trust rating is low with some members does not mean you aren't trustworthy; it just means that there have been some concerns raised about your behavior or conduct, and it can be changed if you work hard to improve it.

You haven't contributed much to the forum in recent months - more than a year has passed since your last post - and although there are many good reasons why you might not have posted in so long, this is a clear indicator that you are not being an active member of the community and this is one of the main reasons why you cannot participate in signature campaigns or other forms of advertising on bitcointalk. Every campaign manager will have a different set of rules for their campaigns, but the majority will require that you post regularly on bitcointalk and will be looking for the same thing: a high-quality posts with good content. Your trust rating has very little to do with this.
1854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: October 22, 2022, 12:44:52 PM
But I don't think we should be too concerned about what happens to Bitcoin in case of a nuclear war precisely because there will be much more pressing concerns like how not to die.

I agree with this. It's not that I don't care about Bitcoin, it's just that there will be more immediate concerns to worry about. I think we can all agree that if there is a nuclear war, the immediate concern will be survival. If you can't survive, then Bitcoin doesn't matter. I think we can also agree that after survival comes sheltering in place and food and water supplies. Then comes the need for communication, which is a problem because we can assume that there will be no power or internet in the immediate aftermath of a nuclear war.  We also need to consider what would happen if the world's financial institutions collapsed as a result of a global catastrophe. At this point, it will be necessary to start working on getting these things back up and running again.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 22, 2022, 12:32:37 PM
Quite surprised to see that 13% of the people here even voted for losing all their money instead of doing KYC at a casino. This might be the case if the winnings are really small, but would you really be willing to give away a few hundred Dollar only for not doing KYC? <...>

For many, a few hundred dollars is not an extraordinary amount of money. For such a small amount, I would not be willing to give up my personal information. The fact that only 13% of people here are ready to lose their money because they do not want to provide their personal data says a lot about our attitude towards privacy. I think that many people simply don't understand what they actually lose by doing KYC.

It looks sketchy but I want to hear some explanation from Galaxy.bet first.
I don't know if Betjoe and other gambling websites from same group are even accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

I agree. It would be good to hear their side of the story and how Galaxy.bet casino is related to other gambling websites from the same group - if they are even all owned by the same people or company at all. Their online reputation isn't great, so I think they should consider focusing on fixing that if they want to attract new customers at their site in future. Otherwise people might be worried about depositing money on the platform after reading so many bad things from others.

i talked with live support and they still said wait for our response !

Live chat support can't help you with that. The only thing you can do until you receive a definitive response from their security department is to wait and try to be patient.
If you still don't hear from them after a reasonable amount of time has passed, open your case in the Scam accusation section ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 ) and include as much information as possible about your situation. This may help speed things along in getting you an answer.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 21, 2022, 02:11:58 PM
I'd rather do it during the registration so I would know if I can comply with the requirements that they will be asking rather than do it during the withdrawal or deposit process where there will be a chance for them to hold my funds. There are already some casinos that ask for KYC during registration and as epr my experience, there's nothing wrong or risk on it as long as we are choosing right casinos with good reputation.

It is understandable that online casinos need to collect our personal data to verify it and prevent any fraudulent activity, I completely understand this point of view. But, I don't necessarily want every casino I gamble on, to know everything about me considering the inherent risks of these platforms leaking information or being hacked. Remember how we were talking about passing information between the casinos? Well I don't necessarily want every single one of them to have access to my personal information, especially if they are not trustworthy. The problem with this, is that there is no way to verify whether or not the casino you are playing at will keep your information safe and secure. If they are not transparent about what data they collect and how it will be used then I would advise against using their services.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: October 21, 2022, 01:55:09 PM
Why not? Bitcoin is digital not physical. Bitcoin will survive the worst 💯

As Bitcoin is decentralized it makes sense to believe that it could survive a nuclear war. However, there are no guarantees and the disruptions caused by a nuclear war could be enough to cause a major disruption in the internet. This means that, in theory, Bitcoin could survive a nuclear war but it would be unlikely to function properly. This is because Bitcoin relies on the internet to operate and if this is disrupted then there is no way for transactions to be verified by miners.

Even if the internet survived, it’s likely that there would be a huge amount of damage to infrastructure such as power stations. This would mean that electricity to run computers would be limited and could cause major disruption for mining operations. It is also possible that the environment may become so radioactive that it is uninhabitable for centuries. As a result of all this, it is hard to say what would happen to Bitcoin in the event of a nuclear war.

Apparently, Galaxy.bet is just another brand of the Galaxy Group Ltd company. Before you deposit your money, do some research on these companies so you can make an informed decision. Some of the reviews that can be found online are quite worrying:

BetJOE belongs to the Galaxy Group Ltd, a company which is well-known for fraudulent activities. Some current brands beside BetJOE are Buff.bet, Mobius.bet, Noxwin.

Some former brands of the group are Vitalbet (Pro Boxer Manny Pacquiao was their ambassador), BetEAST (former shirt sponsor of EPL club Swansea City), Fusion.bet, Ultraplay, eBettle, x-bet.co. All of them are already offline. A quick google search and you’ll find plenty of scam reports:
