1841  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 10 to 20 btc bounty for open source arb bot development on: September 03, 2013, 06:48:48 AM
Well the only hard part is getting funds to other exchanges when you are dealing with fiat, so the only arb options would be on the bitcoin side. I could write this but I need a better scope, and would require it to not be a bounty but a paid job, since bounties just encourage poor quality and just make it a race to get something that works. Not something you really want with a bot.

This is my bot framework, that would be the bases for this program https://github.com/italiano40/Bitcoin-Trading-bot, if you want to give me the job pm me.

you have made a mistake and I request my thread be put back 2 project development. our product is a peer to peer exchange.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ShDngXMp-2YMlCjb4NnJVUkRRZxathDdt5aTp3UUJDk/edit

In this document the first line it says it is a crypto-currency.

Also mastercoin is building off the current bitcoin blockchain is technically it is an addon to bitcoin, that happens to be another coin.

Shit this is tempting.

I am thinking the same thing only thing really holding me back is that I need a motorcycle licenses and my gf would be not happy with this. LMAO But it is a beautiful bike for sure!
1845  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Stable Mac client on: September 02, 2013, 08:19:32 PM
OK, so I am having these issues with 0.88.1 on Mavericks DP6. Armory doesn't even pretend to open any more... open the app and then nothing.

I am sure that I had it working at some point on Mavericks, but anyway, like others it has been weeks since I last got Armory open Sad (although I was having Bitcoin-QT issues too, though I have them sorted now Smiley )

I am currently waiting for Xcode 5 beta to download so that I can build Armory from source code kinda, so will report back later this evening perhaps if I can get this built on OSX at last...

Would be nice to be able to use armory again... I will contribute what little I can to a bounty for a proper OSX app if that will help? Perhaps it is time to start a vocal collection; I'm sure there are plenty of Mac users who want to use (what used to be the best and) most functional bitcoin client Cheesyπ

Source code: https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory

Also you may want to look at this script to package. https://gist.github.com/bsmt/5130568

Also I don't see how Xcode will help you build armory, I think it better to use scripts.

She isn't fake, trust me Wink and cam4btc.com is a great platform but needs more girls. So if you want to see cam girls on there tell your favorite cam girls to give it a try!

Website has been re-launched with a new design!  Grin

Now we provide a better accounting system for both buyers and sellers!

Track your purchases and keep your purchases all within the website.

Have a look over and let us know what you think thanks!

http://www.videos4btc.info

I like the new site very slick, but two things, I have to register for an account which I get, but maybe make sure I can buy without an account. With that I can forfeit my right to redownload the gallery. Also another issue, is you use inputs.io which doesn't allow you to use an outside client to buy the gallery. So right there I don't want to have to transfer my coins to another wallet to just buy an item. Plus your items are like spur of the moment items and I wouldn't want to jump thru hoops to buy it.

Thanks Gweedo.  Yes, a non-account to buy isn't a bad idea. Right, inputs.io figured might be an issue will look into other wallets.  I appreciate your feedback since your a well known member here.  There is a "tip" but for the "free" items. I'll let you know when we make the updates you suggested.

I would suggest https://coinbase.com/docs/api/overview if you want the same functionality. They even allow you to send to coinbase accounts with an email just like inputs.io

What about the brand new inputs.io, seems to be smooth, simple and evolutive with 2 factors system ...
we'll see what will the mobile app and its benefits
Salam...

Shared wallet, controlled by an anonymous person and hosted in the states, that must be some good benefits...

This
Plus, I didn't know it was hosted in the US... Seems safe

should not fall either into exaggeration, before you did confience to satoshi, gox, BFL who were at the Period just a virtual things without any insurance
so with this result from inputs.io it deserves encouragement from good faith
Salam...

I don't need to trust satoshi to use bitcoins. Hence why bitcoins is taking off and e-gold and others like it have failed. Please newbie don't put your money into something that could be hacked or even be just taken. You will regret it.
Haha we're ALL noobs right here c'mon man it's verified under SSL and ur a php/js devloper to know that is well done !  Roll Eyes

LMAO you are right SSL can't be brought anonymously. LOL don't you know what SSL is? It is just so you know that you are connecting to the right site, and it can't be read if their was a middle man. Yes I am a php/js developer and every piece of code has bugs in it. That is just the nature of the beast, but a web wallet has too many attack points. It isn't safe, but that isn't my money so do what you want. Don't whine when your money is gone cause I be sure to link back to this convo Wink

1852  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-08-30 - Bitcoin Foundation meets Washington [Audio] on: September 01, 2013, 06:09:38 PM
If you think that regulation and working within the system is the overall goal of Bitcoin, you're not paying attention to why Bitcoin was created in the first place.

You can't make that statement unless your satoshi or you have proof that is what he was thinking.
1853  Other / Off-topic / Is coindesk getting paid for articles? on: September 01, 2013, 05:16:18 PM
I recently commented on a coindesk article pointing out a lot of flaws, and I also said "The article sounds like the author got paid to write it". Then next thing I know my comment was deleted. This leads me to believe that coindesk is actually getting paid to write articles. It was a good news place while it lasted, but now I am not going to read them anymore due to that. Before everyone claims I was trolling, I wasn't and actually the article had a lot of flaws which show they didn't do the easy research or were just writing a fluff piece.

1855  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-08-30 - Bitcoin Foundation meets Washington [Audio] on: September 01, 2013, 01:31:01 AM
Bitcoin NYCs Jonathan Mohan

First off, can they fix the audio quality, I had to click off after 5mins of the only part of the interview I wanted to hear. I wish he asked more information from Marco Santori, about what happened behind those doors. They talked about it really around about way. Also Jonathan said "There's a vibe in the community that government wants to kill bitcoin as quickly as possible" What community is he talking about? Cause I pretty sure most of us welcomed this talk. Yes we have extremist but that is NOT the entire community. Really needs to get his facts straight when he generalized the whole community. Also he is hardly on the forums so yeah great to know he knows the people here.

Also wish Marco Santori didn't say at the end, if you want to have voice join the foundation. That makes it sound like join the foundation or don't help in bitcoin. Kinda not the message I expected since we are all in this together. If you are apart of the foundation or not, these are huge steps for all bitcoiners. But I guess he makes some money from the foundation and has to say that. It just really upsetted me as someone who doesn't care about the foundation but cares about the legal future of bitcoin. It actually sounded like a scare tactic but whatever, the foundation must be hurting since a lot of people didn't renew.

thanks for sharing!

1856  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Setting Up a Bitcoin Node on: August 31, 2013, 06:11:12 PM
can someone compile this for windows? https://github.com/TvdW/bitpeer

Bitpeer is an experimental Bitcoin relay server. Its event-driven architecture makes it extremely fast, and it was designed to be very lightweight.

this is the creator: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/users/4358/tom-van-der-woerdt

the creator donates 250GB a day with this software to the network !!!!!

Quote
I wrote my own lightweight tx/block relay that can easily handle up to 10000 incoming connections as long as the network connection allows it. I then tweaked it to ensure a high amount of connections (incoming or outgoing, currently ~750) and since it's usually first with relaying blocks/transactions, that causes a lot of network traffic. – Tom van der Woerdt

i need this for windows or linux  Grin but I have no idea how to build this ..  Huh

Uhmmm this is a huge security risk. If you want to use a central server I suggest using electrum which has window binaries.

This is a horrible program it does nothing and can be easily converted to a cancer node and hurt the network.

If you want to donate to the network use bitcoin-qt.

okay, but it would be nice if someone makes a modified version of bitcoin-qt for more connections .. I only get 40 connections or something..
Also an external IP detection every 10 minutes for users with a dynamic IP would be nice !
My ISP changes my IP every 24h .. and than the connections drop to 8 because the client doesn't update his external IP !!!!   Undecided
I already posted this problem in the dev-forum but I think it got ignored..  Huh

The stock bitcoind, accepts default 125 connections, if you want to change that you can add
Code:
maxconnections=200
To your bitcoin conf file. Remember bitcoin is P2P so your not going be be able to connect to a lot of nodes on it's own. You may want to look at
Code:
connect=<ip address>
So you can connect to more people.
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faster transactions? on: August 31, 2013, 08:29:49 AM
Did I miss something lately?

All of my transactions the last few days have been extremely fast. I send an amount and it's nearly an instant confirmation. I was wondering if there was some recent upgrade in the blockchain or something that is speeding things up?

No you are just getting lucky, and probably catching it right before a miner mines the block.
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New gTLD: .bitcoin on: August 31, 2013, 04:30:42 AM
gTLD are just a marketing thing. They will not last, and I probably lose a bit of respect for the companies that take on the .bitcoin gTLD.

Also the foundation should work on this before Mark takes it over, like he did for the trademark on the word bitcoins, which should be given to the foundation but I doubt it.

What separates this from the other bitcoin movies? These are starting to blend all together. Also when is someone going to interview people from the community and just not all main people that we see all day everyday giving opinions.

and it uses a stock bitcoind
