1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this making any sense or a misunderstanding on: March 25, 2023, 10:31:29 AM
Are some Bitcoin wallet address more friendly to transaction fee than the other or I am the one that is not getting things right? I noticed that address that Start with b use fewer transaction fee than one that starts with 1, or there is more to this transaction of a thing that I still need to learn more about?
What wallet are you using? Electrum allows you to adjust fees even if up to 1 sat per byte. Segwit and native (bech32) wallets have cheaper fees. The addresses that starts with 1 are the legacy wallet address and yes, they're quite more expensive than the other two.
Here are some reference that you can check about them ~
Note that if withdrawal is going to come from exchanges, they've got fix withdrawal fees regardless of the network congestion and status.
Always check about the recommended fee: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking advantage of bonuses - what do you think about this? on: March 24, 2023, 10:35:11 PM
The attached video explains the tournament of Bc.game and not a bonus. A tournament is required to beat other players based on the points system implemented by the casino. I don’t know about the number of players in that specific casino but it’s useless to pursue if there’s many active players in there since whale usually dominates tournament. Besides, it requires VIP 14 in able to participate so it’s not for everyone.

A casino bonus typically an add ons reward for doing a certain task and not by competing with other user. There’s no way to take advantage on a tournament except if no one or few user only participate on it.
Thanks for that shortcut and that means that it's not for everyone and if OP can be part of this tournament then just proceed and enjoy every single eligible tournaments that you can participate on that casino. While for most bonuses, it's common that there's no easy bonus that shall be done by a casino unless it's just a giveaway and there's no other requirement that participants have to do but just to dropby their username just like what we have in games and rounds section of the forum. As said, most bonuses aren't like that and they've got some specific requirements that are needed to be filled for the users. If you're fortunate to have it filled then just do go with it and see where your luck will bring you with small amount of capital.
1843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which is the best platform to get clients as a web designer? on: March 24, 2023, 05:28:48 PM
I would suggest you go offline and speak directly with business owners. The face-to-face contact matters a lot.
How can you find clients offline when most businesses today that are looking for a web designer can easily be found on the web. It's true that F2F contract do really count and it matters a lot but with today's phasing and digital age, it's easier to find clients that are on this specific niche online. When you go offline and try to look for them personally, you'll walk and go through each establishment to ask them if they need a web designer? I don't think that's a good strategy and you'll be exerting a lot of effort from it and that's why it's better to use the resources that you've got and be online and look for them at many job marketplaces which both of you can meet online and have conferences and sign contracts online.
1844  Economy / Economics / Re: More trouble for crypto? on: March 24, 2023, 03:51:33 PM
There's no need to worry, let them settle their cases and face it. We have nothing to do with them and the market will continue to thrive with or without them. Those whoever is caught to be doing fraud and market manipulations, let them take what they deserve.
The best plan is to be careful with anything related to exchanges and centralized platforms for us to be safe with our funds, never leave any coins to them because when things like this happened to them, it will escalate quickly to the point that you can no longer react and they'll just disable the withdrawals. The market with these issues are going to stay good and there could be some dumps but they're temporary but in the long haul, it will remain better.
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can do better job opportunities if empower by government on: March 23, 2023, 11:12:55 PM
If IMF and UN can come together to strength the values and important of bitcoin as centralize legal digital currency with independence network system to act on digital market and helps in improving I.T for youths all over the world.
They're not for decentralization and that's why even if the idea is good, they'll never reconsider it because they've got their own plans on the massess and it's not about what bitcoin is portraying as a decentralized cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin easily create stable jobs in different uniforms.
Buying and selling of bitcoin virtual cards, bitcoin pay points agents, ATM machine, bitcoin gifts cards, extension of campaign teams, and monopoly of market. Alls this could reduce unemployment by government schemes.
Although the thought is bitcoin will provide the jobs. Let's give it but it's more about the companies that will adopt bitcoin and they're the ones to produce those jobs. It's too optimistic to think that it will eradicate most of those problems but we're there, it's just a matter that not everything gonna to turn on it on an instant which solves most of them. Because in reality, it just can't and we have to stick in the reality that there's still some limits that it can't do in the capacity of everyone even if we're very much optimistic with its potential.

I think it's better for btc like this, than there is government interference, where anonymous ownership will disappear, everything is regulated by the government
even though the profit is more if it is legalized
That's right. Before, we thought that government interference is gonna bring a lot to the market, and yes that's for the market but not to bitcoin alone. And we've seen with all of these regulations coming from exchanges, crypto services but they still can't stop bitcoin however, the market's where we're moving with can be regulated by them.
1846  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 23, 2023, 08:05:18 PM
Don't be too quick to believe anything that's posted on YouTube or any video sharing platforms. Yes, it could be true that the one who's exposing it really came from the casino industry or it's just someone that has overheard things over the counter and then managed to make a video and creates accusation about such.

Even at this state, the game can still win if he has lucky in that game. Though it is difficult since he is not controlling the game.
Winning isn't difficult because it's given to every gambler and we'll win no matter what and how much we've been losing. But that's it, we have to understand that the house always wins and we can't defeat them if that's the purpose. If you feel cheated by the casino you're playing at then, complain to them and give them the proof or show it to the community for us to decide whether it's cheated and we won't go there anymore.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will pump soon? Lower interest rates in june. on: March 23, 2023, 12:01:09 PM
The FED's decision do add some impact to the price of bitcoin. But, let's get it straight that even without them, we'll see bitcoin get back to higher price and that's imminent. For the very reason of halving, everybody knows the effect of it and those that accumulate understands what's in it to the market when it happens. In today's time, the news from FED, banks and other financial institutions is giving sort of affection to the bitcoin market and that's why this speculative market is being more active with their help of them. And with that, it's giving more positive reaction to bitcoin's price.
1848  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam alert] Fake Arbitrum airdrop claim website.. on: March 23, 2023, 08:00:37 AM
Airdrop hunters should be cautious about this especially those that have missed the actual participation before the release of this airdrop. ARB has been released today and still there are hunters that would long to have it and blindly believing that the participation is still on going. I saw those eligible receivers that have already sold this coin and I'm sure that there will be people that might think that they've really missed a chance and when they see a fake airdrop claim like this, they'll rush to provide everything that's given by the scammer's tweet and post.

Not only Telegram, scammers are using every means to reach crypto users. Currently, many fake websites are appearing on Twitter, which has created a dangerous situation for crypto users who use Twitter. Scammers think of their next scamming strategy every day and continue their activities to create phishing websites. Scammers spend money every time they create a new website because they get their desired victims. So now crypto users have to be more careful to avoid the traps of scammers.
They always upgrade and get along with what's the trending project that's on the market and they never miss that opportunity since they're also part of the community. They track every single project that's getting a lot of attention and they will be there no matter what project is that as long as there's a little chance that they can catch a victim.
1849  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: March 22, 2023, 11:46:50 PM
An accurate financial record helps you;
One of it, is if your business has some employees maybe one or two and there's some odd records that you're seeing and they're cheating you and your business then you'll be able to figure it out.

Making it a habit to record expenses and income indirectly is one way that we can build a more disciplined lifestyle in my opinion.
Yes, it's a habit that's going to be adopted by you and make use of it as an attitude towards everything where things are accountable and you'll just making sure that everything is black and white and you've got records of it. And that's the literal thing for the words that we here of, for the record.  Cheesy
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bet on WWE on: March 22, 2023, 10:06:49 PM
I have the same sentiment. I have tried betting on it before and I felt like I have just wasted my time and funds because the result seems unrealistic. It is acceptable that it's part of the risk but dealing with scripted sports is too hard. It's better to risk on legit and reliable sports betting games than WWE which could easily be manipulated. For some people, they see it as a fun game but to serious gamblers, it will only provide an upsetting result.
I feel you especially if you really bet for it and it was a hefty amount of money you place. And as you watch if your bet is going to win or not, that's painful to see that the wrestler that you've bet for is winning the match but then, there's a sudden increase on strength on opponent's side and then managed to smash and do solid jabs to the wrestler you bet for. We all know that type of seen when the favorite wrestler is already about to get beaten but then, there's the force that made him stronger all of a sudden and that's going to make him win.
I haven't bet for WWE although I know this sport and I've been watching it since a kid but no longer today. It's not worth it in my opinion that the results are scripted and you'll feel cheated about it because as a bettor, we also base on odds and the results do go against it.
1851  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 22, 2023, 08:07:47 PM
Don't forget this is a computer designed by humans and can be manipulated or defeated by same knowledge of humans that are in charge of these casinos. There's no assurance depending on AI for better and bigger win as the chances are still slim and predominantly based on luck just like with human ability only been used.
We have to trust ourselves that humans, us, can still defeat these AIs and their knowledge is still limited. While us, we've got more time to know more and study a lot and upgrade. But to weigh things, the upgrades that these AIs are getting is also like limitless but thanks to the developers of it. Like the newest version of chat gpt-4, it's said that it can have more reliable answers and better way of understanding and could it be that gambling is also part of it. But again, we have to remember that these AIs are also basing their knowledge and answers on what's visible on the web and they cannot foresee the future like predicting a gambling result like in sportsbetting which is unlikely.
1852  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 22, 2023, 04:21:21 PM
Everything that is done to overcome poverty will certainly fail, we must realize that the life of this world will always present poor people, if you are rich then you should be grateful because all the things you need are provided by the poor, if there are no poor people then your money will be useless.
I agree. Bitcoin can help people get out of poverty if they've invested too early and the price now is totally gonna make them out of the poverty. So, it can do end poverty but someone who's got out from it should be responsible and maintain their situation to stay there and never come back to the poverty line. But we have to consider those that are in the poverty level that they can't invest as they've got no spare money in doing it. Instead of buying bitcoin, they'll choose to buy their needs because that's more needed than to invest. However, those that have taken time to take risk and buy bitcoin probably with equivalent of one meal a day that they've got have got some good gains but, not all can do that.

1853  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OPNX Exchange, the comedy show continues on: March 21, 2023, 11:48:22 PM
I think I've seen a service like this in the US that they help people with their claims but is it really possible to happen with those companies that have already filed for bankruptcy?
You have seen a service like this that allows users to trade their claims?

This is a first one for me, and I won't lie to you. I don't trust it any single bit
I think I have but it's not in crypto. I'm not sure if it was the one that mrbeast have advertised and can't remember the whole thing. It's like a service to claims, money and stuff but yeah, this one is shady. Zhu got already crumpled his reputation and anything that's related to him and with such services should be avoided, I'll not trust him either and won't avail any service from him although I don't really need it.

We should not trust it because this service was created and being run by one of the biggest crypto leverage gamblers of the cryptospace. He is also known for using his other crypto hedgefund friends and followers as exit liquidity. He had influence over the Defi trading community before. If he shares something bullish on a coin or token, the price will pump and what he is really doing is dumping on them hehehehe.
And even if we try hard to remind everybody not to trust him, he can still manipulate some people into believing him that he's gonna give them the maximum benefit and that's one of the saddest truth on the other communities that he's in.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 21, 2023, 10:16:38 PM
That's how business, promotion and affiliate works. For those influencers, it's quick for them to make money with gambling promotions because they'll just have to play and show it to their audience and entice them that they are doing well and that's it. They'll instruct every audience that they've got to sign up under their link and they'll get some bonus but unknowingly, they are also going to get some bonus referral from those sign ups after they deposit. That's why it's also instructed that whoever signs up should deposit with the amount that they're saying. There are some of them that do remind their fans to gamble moderately and it's not for kids but, yeah, it's sad that I see those that don't.
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 21, 2023, 06:08:18 PM
Yeah, it's not the entire market that needs regulations but those centralized exchanges and services that can be said to be at their control. These banking system are nowhere to go and that's why they're looking for ways to bail out and to tell people that they're doing good even if it's visible in our naked eyes on what's actually is happening on them. Together with the government, they're helping each other trying to regulate crypto but in reality, they should be the one that must be monitored because of the scenarios and events that has shown to the world on how corrupt they are.
We have been waiting for regulations for a long time, and until today there is none. Generally, people who like to invest will not touch something that is not regulated because who knows that by the next few days, BTC could be banned. I suppose it's the fear by the many investors in the US who had so much trust in thier SEC that also wants to keep crypto dead.

While they are introducing FEDnow also, I guess the goal will also be to make FEDcoin look better than BTC.
That's right. If it's for us, we know what we like and that's why regulation must also be regulated. But long time ago and before all of these issues, we wanted the government intervention at least. Because we know that it will drive the price of bitcoin which is really true and became a reality. But then, we saw how it's making things not really interesting anymore and with all of the banking collapses. Then, they should look for some other things to be regulated first and take that action before intervening with the crypto market because it doesn't sound good that the regulated ones are collapsing while they're wanting to take action for the unregulated and decentralized market that's doing good. Anyway, it's all where the money is going and they know that it's in here, on this market, bitcoin and the entirety of crypto market.
1856  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 21, 2023, 04:55:43 PM
I don't know if anyone is thinking the same thing, Banks are collapsing and they want to regulate crypto? How is this going to be possible? How can a corrupt system brings a transparent regulation to the crypto space? I think that this regulation is a FAD, the aim behind this regulation is not about saving mankind from crypto rug pulls, I think the plan is to squeeze the life out of crypto because of the attention its getting.

If anything needs regulation, it is CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES only.
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: March 21, 2023, 11:44:28 AM
It's really the best advice to keep that we have to secure our funds or crypto assets through keeping it with a hardware wallet. The security of it is way better than those wallets that we've been introduced like the web wallets which is common for beginners.
I've got a couple of friends that have been into bitcoin investing and all of them started to expand their investments and portfolio through buying different altcoins. I've already told them my thoughts about it and there's nothing wrong with it as long as they will not forget that they all started out with bitcoin and all the crypto in the market are moving because of it, so, they shouldn't just leave it. And as they invest, they have to make sure that it won't be painful to them with the money they allocate into their altcoin investment expansions.
1858  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistakes small or big that will cause us a lot in the future on: March 21, 2023, 08:15:19 AM
This is a great list and very reminder not just to newbies but to everyone. I'd like to add about panicking. Like when something goes wrong and there's an investor who's panicking because he wants to transfer his assets quickly and exchange it on swap websites just like this guy[1].
The importance of having a 2FA is making your accounts and funds secure and making sure that you know where you're registering your information because there have been cases about sim swap[2] that has been a popular case since a few years ago.

1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 20, 2023, 11:16:46 PM
Those that have background in development. It's more in demand because whenever I look and try to job search for crypto related jobs, what I am seeing more are the blockchain developers. And whenever there's a statistics shown about what are the current in demand jobs, it's always there. That's why those that have programming backgrounds are at edge to jump off with this industry and those that have the idea about the entire market of crypto and its tech which is blockchain, it's not only limited to blockchain development but also about project management, support and community roles and many more but you just have to plus it with a background and knowledge about crypto.
