1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚽️🔷💣||| LIGA: Tokenized sport events||Champions League|| ⚽️🔷💣 on Waves on: April 17, 2019, 09:34:15 AM
Never knew or read about the LIGA token, but to Waves, it actually waived off the whole capital we had invested in it during to the 2018 market sweep-off. I think this should have been better off to Ethereum or some other blockchain as the project was good but the choice of blockchain wasn't. Can anyone give me a link to where I can find these "LIGA" tokens?

Op, as the thread was meant for 2018 championship, why did you bump it again? Are you holding this one for this year too?
1862  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto-Games casino [-] automated api dice betting on: April 17, 2019, 09:26:07 AM
What will it do
Make random bets with random payouts with random delays.
default: random bet between 1 and 3 satoshi with a payout between 2 and 9920 with a delay between 1 and 5 seconds and flip hi and low on a loss.
[It can be adjusted to your needs]

The type of script this is, is the style I am used to. I make bets the same way, almost everything random but what I didn't like here is the "adjustment" you are talking about, which means that it can't really assure wins on one side neither both.

1863  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with cheapest fee? on: April 17, 2019, 09:18:17 AM
The best way to eliminate additional fee is possible finding a trader who wish to sell bitcoin directly in exchange of fiat. This is possible through our forum's exchange services section. You could find the trader and make the direct trade, and for trust it is a must to have an escrow. If there is no escrow then it's purely the high risk involved trade in my view.

It is also better if OP can go for local friends or known people who trade BTC and sell them directly as he can easily negotiate his terms with the people he knows better instead of risking his money even with an escrow because I don't really trust escrows in cases where buyers would ask me to go for their preferred escrow. I have got many good people through instashift (direct contacts) and now, I easily sell/buy through them at 'average' market value I of paying higher because I can negotiate and convince the buyer to get to my price.
1864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Switcheo exchange on: April 17, 2019, 09:09:10 AM
Tried this exchange and works fine. First time I saw it, it reminded me of cobinhood (almost same look while surfing through smartphone). But I don't get it why are you interested in trading at a place where only those projects (which cannot be found at other exchanges mostly) like zombie projects are listed? IDEX isn't good for you? I came through a new Dex platform called eFin DEX and the project looks very much interesting. If you are interested, you should try it - https://efin.cx
1865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with cheapest fee? on: April 17, 2019, 08:10:12 AM
I've tried an Indian exchange for the first time and its name is instashift, they usually charge you 0.5 - 1% in fee and are almost instant as the orders are met and they work as escrow handling everything for you and making it easy for you to get/sell your coins. If you want a better one, try efin's DEX as there won't be any fee for you to purchase and sell your crypto there. For credit card purchases, Coinbase is currently my first preference.

1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you place stop loss and take profit at the same time? on: April 11, 2019, 04:52:37 PM
In Poloniex, It's been a while since I placed a trade in this exchange, but from what I can remember, you can't place a stop loss and a take profit order at the same time, you have to choose either one. Am I wrong about this?

No, it is true that you can only place a single limit of either stop loss or take profit on an open order. That's also the case with Bittrex and Binance. You need to choose that if you are sure about your trade, then putting take profit targets is actually good but if not, then stop loss is better. Although, you always need to keep an eye to look for your targets/stops before they get hit.

Quote
If I'm not wrong, could someone explain to me how I can do it? And if I'm right about this, are there any other exchanges that do allow you to place a stop and TP at the same time? Or are there any trading bots that work with poloniex that can do this?

Thanks.

Some exchanges allow you to use API keys to allow bots put trailing stops when a trade is open and it saves you time and efforts you really can't put being a human.

I've got to read this today itself and thought to share it here. Nice info there about what OP is trying to convey. I would really want to trade such big stocks using a crypto platform and I also want to trade them under leveraged conditions as it will have a very high risk:reward ratio.

1869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: April 10, 2019, 10:50:44 PM
What do you think? FBI, Police and different higher authorities of the world didn't try to catch him?
They failed. It is because Satoshi wanted to do something great and still kept himself behind the picture acting like a subordinate but working like a super hero. Even some shitty dickheads came ahead claiming themselves to be Satoshi but they also failed to prove it.
It is actually good for him not to be found because it opens up clean possibility of his Bitcoins to either get stolen away or seized. If you were to be Satoshi, would you ever destroy your image you maintained throughout, by opening up about yourself when you know that your hidden identity could do the job for BTC it's been doing since?
1870  Economy / Reputation / Re: Suspicious loan to 2double0 from hacker1001101001 (marcotheminer involved) on: April 05, 2019, 08:11:58 AM
It looks like 2double0 is going to be late repaying the loan, after allegedly obtaining an extension from the lender.
Hello everyone.
Just to tell everyone, I have taken a 1 week extension over this and the adjusted date is now 2nd of April 2019. Hacker, can you please confirm this here?

Oh, and at least 2double0 ^allegedly^ managed to repay his lender.

I just can't stop laughing my ass off watching a thief trying to expose a policeman  Cheesy
Look, who's trying to stop me. Quickseller, one of the biggest account selling machines here on this forum who made money especially through trading and trafficking his own accounts and accusing and derailing many good people out of the forum through his skills shills. You have been deliberately trying to expose me and Marco and saying that we both are same personalities, but hey fucker, do you even see that there's a big difference in both of our language here? Look at his words and English, then look at mine and tell me whether I'm him or not. It is true (and I'd give all the blame to destiny here) that we both came online almost the same time. And I'm also not denying the fact that I had been in his contact, so this is another thing which proves that we are not the same people. I think I am just colliding my head on a rock here.

Type of Collateral: None as I'm enrolled in a campaign currently

Fine and lemme know whenever you fill it.

1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Dont spam the btc network on: April 04, 2019, 01:11:31 PM
The problem is, many of those wallets sitting there don't give you the option to change your fee type to custom and doesn't let you put that custom sats/bytes which is why this spike took place. Even exchanges are paying higher and supporting this network clog and many of those bad guys are trying to spam the whole network by sending very low Satoshi amounts for very high fees. We really need to stop this so not to see those higher fees back in the game again. And most of them want their transactions  confirmed as soon as possible which is one major cause of this happening.

And hey, that ^meme^pool is just something I would say a great invention of your mind.  Cheesy
1874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pending BTC for 2 days please help on: April 04, 2019, 12:57:01 PM
There are some good guys here offering free tx acceleration services, you can ask them and will definitely get it resolved.

https://bitcoinfees.earn.com
Check here for a proper fee value before sending anything these days due to an abnormal spike in traffic taking place in mempool from some bad guys trying to spam the whole network and increase fees. It is somewhere related to Bitcoin's scary price rise in just 3 days and I also have a thread about this, take a look here:

1875  Economy / Economics / Re: Correlation between increase in transaction fees and Bitcoin price. on: April 04, 2019, 12:42:19 PM
Mind well everyone, I have smelled this pump incoming.
You know how? I watch the network congestion every now and then. And guess what, I had been seeing unnecessary high fee payers once again which gave me a signal of an assured rise in the price of Bitcoins.
You might onto something.

I've said it in another thread, fees have been on the rise since last week for no reason.
Take a look at how the mempool looks over a 2-week period: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,2w

Fees began to increase on March 26, unless something was going on behind the scenes and traders started making their move, I can't find something that can explain that sudden rise in fees.

If you check bitcoinfees.earn(dot)com, the optimal fee at the time of this post is 98 sats, so there's a lot of people overpaying for fees, pretty crazy considering that you could pay from 20-40 sats and get your tx confirmed in a few hours but I guess some people don't have the patience to wait.

Don't just limit it to traders, I think that even exchanges were knowing about this upcoming pump due to which they started paying those 98-200 sats/byte (where they could have paid less than 5 sats/byte to easily get it confirmed in max 3 blocks). I've watched this since the fee was being played with and was made to clog the network once again and make everyone pay higher fees back. It is true that it's people who don't just understand the metrics behind this and they don't even try to lower the fee but just send whatever was recommended to them. This way, we are not too far of seeing those $10-100 paid in fees days once again. Fees should really be lowered down when an increase (a quicker one) takes place in BTC price. This was almost a pump in the range of 30-50% where even indicators gave overbought signals in each of those.
1876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merits holding you back? Am giving them to most qualitative Newbie / Jr / Member on: April 03, 2019, 03:57:12 PM
Many users out of you guys need to improve a lot.
You need to understand how it all works, how this merit thing works. For me, it's a bookmark kind of a thing.

I only merit those posts which I believe in, which I think that they will be useful in future whenever I want to gain extra knowledge out of them as sometimes you forget things and need to go back to those pages to understand better. I am also ready to break my own rules here for the best posts I find (though, posts after 10 Feb 2019 will be given highest preference). This is how I evaluate and give merits to the best posts I find useful for both me and all the community users.

Either way, it goes like this or opposite as sometimes, when price of BTC rises, fee starts to rise and chase its previous higher highs. Is $5000 showing a possibility of BTC transaction fees to be rising to newer highs too?
