For the last week or so I have pointed each 50% of my hashes to slush and another merged NMC pool. On slush I got confirmed 1.42348140 NMC, on the other pool 4.15565092 NMC. In other words about three times as much on the other pool.
How come there is such a big difference?

I realize that it is basically impossible to accurately predict how much you'll actually be able to mine. However, is there at least any statistic gathering anywhere that will give me an idea if I'll get better results from another pool?
I guess that's why it's called "luck". It depends what you are looking for? My choice was for pools that pay tx fees and do merged mining. Others have a protocol they prefer, want a pool near to them or are looking for an API. Some info here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools

Efficiency needs to take power consumption into account, IMHO. Most of us have to pay an electric bill.

[...] 15. How much are the foreign bank / Maybank Group Overseas Unit charges? The amount varies from country to country.
How much is it for a regular wire transfer Maybank MY -> UOB SG? Did you ask them?

What is the power consumption?

Mom's acccount...password wasn't very good...Please help. I know what account the money is in currently. I need help from blockchan.
I guess there's a lesson learned here. You realise BTC transactions are not reversible? blockchain.info does not have the private keys to any of the addresses. They can not help you. The hacker now controls these coins. :-/

How was it hacked?
Strong password? 2FA?

To create a new tx - yes.
To delete a tx that did not go through and was not broadcast by bitcoin-qt - I don't think so, as the tx would not be in the bitcoin-qt database.
Glad to hear it worked for you. The main thing is, you got your coins back :-)

Also from the Wiki: A transaction will be sent without fees if these conditions are met: - It is smaller than 10 thousand bytes.
- All outputs are 0.01 BTC or larger.
- Its priority is large enough (see the Technical Info section below)
There is also this: Its priority is large enough, but since the 6 BTC input was only 1 block old, I don't think the priority was large enough. So it looks like this transaction was never relayed and will never be included in a block. If this was my own wallet, I would remove the transaction manually and create another one with a fee. Since it's a blockchain wallet, what can be done about this? Import the private key in bitcoin-qt and then use pywallet to delete the tx. Edit: On second thought, I'm not sure that will work.

It's said that I need to go to US Embassy for the notary if I want to claim my shares. And the cost is $50, Right? Who will cover the cost? The customer? James? Or both of them?
That's cheap! In the UK I had to pay £115 which works out at around $175 At the US embassy? Not sure if you're being serious but the answer is no. It had to be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to be apostille stamped. This is a very rare request and is the reason for the high cost. Of course I'm being serious as I have it done myself at the US embassy here.

I must say, I'm amazed about the confidence Nasty Fans have in you OgNasty.
After the recent fuzz about BFL I hoped I could pick some seats up for ridiculous small prices, but jet all Fans seem to stay very calm.
That really speaks for you.
I think also the way we get seats without API etc. (like on the exchanges) keeps people who are in for the quick trade / buck away. Less hectic, if you know what I mean.
