1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 20, 2023, 07:36:55 PM
You mean like in gambling it's a dark secret that there are losers and winners? I have idea about the other dark secrets that do happen in physical casinos where you'll just get to see it there once you're already there. And it's funny that these days, these videos on socials have been popping on my feed and showing those dark secrets which are no longer secret anymore as it becomes a norm. Well, that's it, it could be dark secrets for the new ones that have just found it out but it's not actually hidden thing these days.
I think what is meant by this dark secret is about how a business owner can get such a fortune that he can run his casino or what is behind the casino entrepreneur so that he can grow his business so big because we know that competition in the gambling business in cities regulations that allow gambling is very strict. Hence, it is not easy for business owners to develop their gambling business.

But I believe that every business owner must have dark secrets that he keeps for himself or those who are close to him. And we also don't have to try to find out and it's best to let it be their dark secret.
Well, that's for sure and that's why those honest business people that are into this industry have come through thick and thin until they've reached their destination of being successful.

We better play gambling and just enjoy it.
Yeah, let's just do our thing and enjoy what's in front of us as we gamble. While them, if they've got some dark secrets, let them uncover it and if they'll keep on doing it, it's up to them since it's their business and we just only mind ours.
1862  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OPNX Exchange, the comedy show continues on: March 20, 2023, 05:38:08 PM
I'm still curious about the developers of this site, why did they put this non-clickable image LOL.
Those were the companies that have issues in the past. And I think their service is about claiming any of the funds remaining there. I'm not sure about that though but I wouldn't call it an exchange if they're offering that type of service. Here are those companies that are on the top of that image and I just stopped there.

Quote from: https://opnx.com/
OPNX solves this by providing a public marketplace for trading claims and crypto. It allows individuals and organizations to easily register their claims, sell them directly into crypto on orderbooks, or use their claim as portfolio margin. This enables claimants to efficiently unlock billions of dollars of trapped capital.

I think I've seen a service like this in the US that they help people with their claims but is it really possible to happen with those companies that have already filed for bankruptcy? See, it's not really an exchange service. Therefore, I agree with the title, a comedic service.
1863  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 20, 2023, 03:56:20 PM
One can start investing in bitcoin but not with real estate. You can DCA in bitcoin but not with real estate. That's why for newbies, it's friendly if they start with bitcoin and then if they've managed to have their capital increase and they think that they can now start with real estate, that's so much better. We all want the best investments in our lives, one that can set us in our lives forever and then will generate passive income.
People that have less tolerance in risk, they can save money for so long and then start buying their first real estate investment. That's the strategy for them, there's a lot of difference from buying bitcoin or getting started with crypto.

1865  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Found it on the Internet 100USDT on: March 19, 2023, 09:22:23 PM
With that kind of story, I have that quick coming up that type of exchange is a scam. No exchange will give you $100 for free and then will ask you to deposit because that's the actual there. And it has happened for so many times when newbies have asked in the past how they're going to get that free money. But the reality, is that they won't get it. Once you deposit on that exchange, they'll have another questionable requirement to you and might ask for another deposit. It's a loop that you'll never like unless you're the owner of this website and you're shilling it here. And with the whois information given, this is the type of exchanges or websites that I mostly avoid.
1866  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: March 19, 2023, 07:26:58 PM
Just like everyone else, I'm just happy that I have survived this pandemic together with my family but heart goes to those that have lost their loved ones because of this virus.

Me too actually I do have more money during pandemic rather than now. During pandemic I have 3 clients and it pays me well and it helps me to sustain my needs now I am feeling that I left behind on our trend I don't know why but it happens. I just really wish that my drive and motivation to earn more and get more clients during pandemic can go back now. Pandemic is not really a nightmare to me, it is somehow become my rest as well.
Good for you and this pandemic have made a lot of jobs turn into remote and that had made the demands quite high. This pandemic has left me with a lot of uncertainties of having what ifs on my mind. What if there's another pandemic that's about to happen soon and it's gonna more brutal than the recent one. It has left a lot of thinking and uncertainties to many people and also, it has made a lot of us depressed because of the situation that everyone has went in. Just as what OP has expressed, many experienced hunger and it has took a lot of lives for which this isn't only happening on this covid trend but even before it.

There have been threads that have been posted on this the same section telling good things and promoting your casino. I'm not sure if there's some promo and giveaway that's currently happening there that requires to post a thread in the forum. But these threads if there will be more in the nearest future might just be deleted or locked upon being reported and if you've got a community inside your casino or sort of a telegram group, it's better to tell them that there's no need to make new threads and just stick on this thread of yours which is the official one.
These are the threads:
1868  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoins.com exit scam - scammer CEO Sara Leppänen on: March 18, 2023, 11:05:15 AM
It was reported on different crypto news publishers that localbitcoins.com have already announced their closure on February 16, 2023 and onwards will be the time for those users that still have got funds left to withdraw.

How to get all information about the owners of that scam company, for example Sara Leppänen is it possible to find our her ID?
You can easily google them and the name that will appear is different from what you've mentioned and that was said by dansus. I think that you've landed on a wrong domain and website and that's like a phishing and copycat of localbitcoins.

For more info visit their service closure announcement through their official website: https://localbitcoins.com/service_closure/
1869  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: March 18, 2023, 09:19:59 AM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you
Before, it wasn't like that. Whenever there's some news about economy related topics that were definitely bad news, it doesn't affect bitcoin a lot. But the dynamic changes, market changes and fundamentals have been greatly increasing for bitcoin. So, having this question play on your mind isn't really dumb at all. We're all wanting to know why it's like that and you'll get various possible good answers from here. Since there have been a lot of change in the market, adoption have increased and that's why having this question is also the same like thinking why every economic news affects the global markets. Let's think that, all investors and traders do follow the news because it is the market mover every time there will be a news release coming from FED or any bank that's in closure or collapse or anything related to them.
1870  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 18, 2023, 07:08:42 AM
but I want to ask do you think the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches 50000 or not... ?I want to hear it from all of you...
Long term? Easy, yes. But if your span of period for that price is for this year then it may take time and it's 50/50 of chance to happen. Do remember that halving is about to happen next year and that will trigger the demand and lesser supply for the rewards of miners, in short the impact will go directly to the price assumingly will create a positive impact.

and if I sell my bitcoin now I'm afraid the price of bitcoin will fly even higher... I want to hear your opinion...?
Sell if you need the cash, do not regret selling if there's an important thing you're about to purchase or bills to pay. You don't have to sell all of it and just take a part of portion from your holdings. And if you've got other source of income, upon selling, create a plan that you'll buy those sold bitcoin of yours and do the DCA technique for you not to miss out the next bull run.

1874  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning be aware from Bestcloudsellers on: March 15, 2023, 07:54:53 PM
I wonder if that guy has other victims too that don't speak up because they may think that the amount was just a tolerable amount that have been scammed to them. OP, although we can no longer get what's taken from you unless that guy voluntarily returns it to you.
Follow the tips that were given to you by SFR and also, when you're dealing with someone that doesn't have a reputation in the forum, just follow the advise of hiring an escrow. The fee won't be a lot for your safety and also the sellers safety. If you encounter someone again in the future that don't agree to take one and none of you willing to send first, then that's a red flag and both of you are thinking the same. That's why always end up in choosing an escrow.
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A guy traded worth $2M of crypto for $0.05 USDT on: March 14, 2023, 08:57:49 AM
This is a sad story of how someone panicked due to the news about SVB a couple of days ago.

A twitter account named BowTiedPickle.Eth posted a tweet about this guy that had made a mistake. Every detail is on the link that I'll provide at the bottom together with the quotes from the links.

With USDC insolvency fears rampant, users are fleeing to safety in other stables. Not all of them are going to make it there in one piece, however.

Here's how one unlucky user paid $2,080,468.85 to receive $0.05 of USDT.

On-chain investigations revealed that the user had stored the assets in a liquidity pool (LP) — a popular method to earn passive income in cryptocurrencies. The user could have sold his LP tokens for USDT for a 6% slippage. However, they chose to go for a “questionable " method. As explained by BowTiedPickle:

The unfortunate soul used the KyberSwap aggregation router to dump a large clip of 3CRV (DAI/USDC/USDT) LP token into USDT.

1876  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GETINTOPC BIGGEST SCAM SITE on: March 13, 2023, 07:16:23 PM
When I download stuff in the internet, if they're free, I'm very meticulous with them. I don't download it as soon as possible and I research first if it's a crack version then I may expect that there might be some virus and malware that's on it. I have an idea on how these malware are being installed and that's when we agree to the terms and conditions once we download it from a pirated website. And that's should be the clear thing whenever we get free stuff online:
1. It comes with some marketing trackers.
2. Might get some virus.
3. It might come with an ad spy ware.
And when you think that you're infected already, don't transact with it. Have it cleaned first by removing the malware/virus and what's the easiest solution that I've read before from the infected users, they were quick to reformat their PCs.

Unfortunately, I am moving the campaign on HOLD. For last few days I did not hear from the management and the escrow address does not have enough fund to cover the payment too, in case they do not response me this week. Let's hope everything is fine. Once I hear back from them and secure funds, we will resume again. The OPEN slot will be filled with the applications made above.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
Hopefully that we'll hear a good feed back from them and top up the funds so the campaign will continue.  Cool
Thanks Royse for your work.

We also have two final additional slots in the campaign. Open for Sr. Member ranks.
1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 11, 2023, 09:45:56 PM
The forum was made about bitcoin and then as the market grown, it's entirely have become the place for most crypto discussions. Casinos are just another business that has accepted crypto for their payment methods. I do agree with those that have said that we've got enough with these ratings, aside from the Service Discussion, this section of gambling and gambling discussion. We've got a lot of it already plus, the accounts made by the casinos representative, there's a trust rating where feed back can be left and given to them.
1880  Economy / Economics / Re: If they have the solution, why are banks still failing? on: March 11, 2023, 10:17:07 AM
It's terrible to see another collapse, they're all connected. There goes the Silvergate bank, this SVB and as in almost all markets have come to this despite that we've been experiencing collapse since last year. But on this particular thing with SVB, I am feeling bad for those start ups that have been reliant to them because they're the major source of those seed and crowd funding of many start ups and that's why the collapse has connection to many retail, start up and tech companies.
