1881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: July 11, 2022, 03:09:53 PM
I always thought that price wasn't very important for bitcoin, i.e. it wasn't the main thing. Of course it's nice when it's worth 50k and not 100 dollars. But its price has no effect on moving value from one point to another. So whatever the price of bitcoin, people will use it and the blockchain will succeed.
1882  Economy / Speculation / Re: MtGox finally going to distribute 137,000 BTC sometime next month on: July 11, 2022, 09:36:34 AM
It's becoming a classic, when bitcoin falls and the market panics, that's when the news about MtGox starts coming out. It's funny how the bad news strategy doesn't change every time. Hopefully this is the final part of the bearish scenario and a reversal will happen soon.
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 11, 2022, 08:28:33 AM
England will play against Norway. Both teams have won their first games against Austria and Northern Ireland. Norway scored more goals in the first game than England, but probably because they had an easy opponent. I think England will win tonight but I don't think they are favourites anyway.
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Web5 a "catch phrase"? on: July 10, 2022, 04:35:25 PM
I don't fully understand what web3 is, and I even less understand what web5 is. I think this technology is still a long way off, because cryptocurrency is still in its infancy and is not much in demand in everyday life. A lot of people, probably even all people, are satisfied with the usual Internet. Blockchain is useful, but there are many cases where it is not necessary.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 10, 2022, 03:46:12 PM
This is really bad bro, I feel bad for his family who has nothing to do with his selfishness. That's why this community always warned users to play only with the money they can afford to lose because when something like this happened, there's nothing you can do but run and hide because it is really impossible to pay all of that money in just a short time because it will take years for that money to earn and it only took a whole night for it to lose for the one who doesn't care for their families.

In general, it is quite surprising that an adult (since he has a family and colleagues) was not aware of the dangers of gambling and so stupidly lost all the money. And I would also note that it is unclear why the OP warns about the dangers of slots - in fact they are no different from other gambling games.
In fact, slots differ from other games of chance in that they are short-lived. All those fast-changing pictures have a powerful effect on the psyche, making the brain think differently than usual. For example, playing poker or betting on sports makes a person think and make some decisions, but slots just take your money in seconds, so you have to borrow money to try and recoup your losses.  But that's if you have an addiction of course.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 10, 2022, 08:40:04 AM
It's the group stage so far and not many matches have been played, but of the surprises so far I'm watching the Norwegian team. Although they have only played one match against a weak opponent. Usually women's teams don't differ much from men's teams in quality of play, so I think that here the favorites are Spain, Germany, Portugal, France and Italy.
1887  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 10, 2022, 05:47:49 AM
A 2nd retest under 20k is at least 50% likely I think.   If we only test the lows it would be quite calm by comparison to the extremes in prospect, I was expecting worse with this great upset in two main components to dollar.  Its an external shock this time is how I see it as Euro and YEN weakness at the same time and yet the FED raises rates and other events, all adds up
Therefore, a test of the upper limit of the channel might tell us that a break-up might occur. To be honest I believe this more than Bitcoin will soon fall back to the level of the previous bottom. There has been a lot less negative news on the market so far, which might be a good thing.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 09, 2022, 05:04:45 PM
Actually, that's not the only thing that makes Barcelona a dilemma. There are many things that make them have to think carefully before making the final decision that will determine their game next season. They even lack center backs now, because last season they were a bit weak in that position. I hope Barcelona can make the right decision.
Currently there are many things that must be addressed by Barcelona before entering next season, because apart from experiencing a financial crisis, Barcelona also has to buy other players who are better and that seems to have made it more difficult for Barcelona because there are not good players who have cheap prices now.
So Barcelona need to make improvements one by one because Barcelona's condition is not like other clubs now.
It seemed to me that Barcelona, on the contrary, were doing well with the main team. They did very well last season and managed to rise from the middle of the standings to second place, although it seemed fantastic to many. Of course a few new top players wouldn't hurt, but I think Xavi will do well with the team next season.
1889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, I salute your final ATH. on: July 09, 2022, 12:11:06 PM
I don't understand why bitcoin has to fall below 20k again? Is this some kind of recognised scenario? Why can't it consolidate at current prices and then go down to say 40k. After which it would correct to 30k. After all, it could be that once it starts rising we will never see 20k again, just as we will never see 3k after 2020.
1890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: July 08, 2022, 02:09:36 PM
We should think more about the risk of having all your investments in one single portfolio, such as bitcoin. Bitcoin happens to be the most reliable cryptocurrency for investment but at the same time, Bitcoin is a highly volatile asset. So I will still advise you to diversify your portfolio into multiple sources.
You don't have to diversify because, as you said, bitcoin is the most secure cryptocurrency. But if bitcoin is having a bad time, any other coins will feel even worse. So don't buy the whole deposit at once, but buy in parts. That would be the best strategy. And if the market situation becomes favourable, you can consider buying other cryptocurrencies.
1891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 08, 2022, 09:33:38 AM
I can't really imagine bitcoin going up $50k this month, Even $40k is pretty hard because of our current market situation. It's too early for it to recover. I've seen some technical analysis in the internet and non of them reached around $50k price, Really it's impossible given the time span of 1 month. Imagine bitcoin doubles it value in just 1 month, It's a miracle. I'm also curious about the research you did, Where did you research it and how come you end up on $50k.

There is no chance that bitcoin can reach even near to the 50,000$. We are not in a bull market and also there are no fundamental events which can pump bitcoin to this level. Although anything is possible in crypto but still i can safely say that bitcoin cannot even reach 50,000$ in this year 2022. I would be happy if bitcoin does not dump below 17-18K and stay above 20K.

What you say is also true because for the short term or even next month it will not be able to reach the price of $ 50 thousand in my opinion.
But for the end of the year, it could be between $45 thousand or stop at around $50 thousand.

You have a proper nickname. The fortuner on the street can also predict that bitcoin will be worth 70k at the end of the year, but can you trust him? If in your opinion the price can't rise to 50k even next month, why will it rise to that level in 3 months? It seems to me that you are taking these numbers at random because you just want it to.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 08, 2022, 06:12:58 AM
Slots are the worst idea to spend so much money on, much less manage to take on debt. I don't understand how some people manage to go to such extremes and ruin their lives and those of their families. I'd rather drink the money away with attractive women in a restaurant and have a good time.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 07, 2022, 05:49:57 PM
I am sure that a change of environment, perhaps even a change of residence, can have a positive effect on any addiction. If it is a gambling addiction, it is better to stop associating with those who play casinos or bet on sports. Anything that makes you think about gambling should be avoided. Without a change of environment, it will not be realistic to get rid of the addiction.
1894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Percentage Down from ATH on: July 07, 2022, 04:31:48 PM
Today I counted the approximate fall in 2018 and the current one. In 2018 bitcoin fell from 19k to 6k, which was about 3x. This time bitcoin fell from 69k to 20k, which is about the same as the 2018 drop. But at the end of 2018 bitcoin still fell in half to 3k. If a similar scenario awaits us, we could see 10k at the end of the year.
1895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Macro Chart on: July 07, 2022, 10:19:59 AM
All these graphs are the same. And each time, the model is subjected to changes. For example the S2F model was broken in March 2020, which Plan B itself wrote about, but then it miraculously worked again. These models show well bitcoin's past and that it has been in an uptrend for more than 10 years, but no more. If it falls to 10k for example, the model will change, but will still show a similar picture.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ALT season year ? on: July 07, 2022, 07:55:52 AM
All this year cryptocurrencies have been falling since January until now. Such a prolonged fall can be compared to 2018. If the same scenario awaits us, the bicoin could fall even lower by the end of the summer. and the recovery will not start until next year. Therefore, I consider a small bullrun in 2023 to be logical.
Make sense and the yearly cycle must become the most suitable chart for cryptocurrency right now. You must look at the past when bitcoin and all of crypto were dumping so hard but i think that it's stiill in the different situation. In 2018 we have not yet seen so many crisis like what happened this time. I think that how long the bearish trend in the crypto can become the different thing like now. This bearish trend may even longer compared what happened in 2018
As an example, consider the drop in 2018 from about 20k to 6k, which was about 3x. But then the price dropped to 3k after about 1 year. Now bitcoin has fallen from 69k to 20k, which is also about 3x. If we imagine a similar scenario awaits us, it means bitcoin will fall to 10k at the end of 2022, which many analysts expect. And then there will be a new bull run.

1898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's price "basically a fire sale"? on: July 06, 2022, 12:37:55 PM
I also thought recently that there was a sale going on and a good opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin. But now I'm beginning to doubt that because there are global financial changes happening in the world that didn't exist before. It seems to me that this time the fall might surprise absolutely everyone and that the crash of 2020 might be repeated. But so far the history of bitcoin has not shown such a fall, so everyone is using the usual patterns.
1899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 18600$ level in this week ends? on: July 06, 2022, 06:51:37 AM
It's really funny to speculate about 18600 now, because that price is in the current fluctuation range. It may or may not happen in a few hours. No one will give an answer to this question, especially not in such a short period of time. Right now many are talking about a new bottom around 10-13k, and 18600 is of no interest to anyone.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 06, 2022, 06:04:20 AM
not just some matches, if you think some are fixed then I would assume most of them are, it's like they gave Italy the Euro but they had to not qualify for the world cup, anyways the final you mentioned with Portugal and German seems tough to happen, I'm expecting a Latin team to win the world cup this year since it's been 19 years when the last one won it which was Brazil, they are the favourites for me unless Argentina made a surprise.

Last time (2018), the world cup was held in Russia and none of the CONMEBOL teams managed to qualify to the semi-finals. France, Belgium, Croatia and England managed to find a spot in the semis and all these teams were from the UEFA (Brazil and Uruguay were kicked out during the QF stage). It is clear that weather played its part in 2018. But this time, that won't be the case, since the weather in Qatar will be very mild during November-December. Also, both Brazil and Argentina have the momentum at this point.
Brazil and Argentina have good momentum only on their continent. Nobody knows how they will play against European teams. I watched the qualifiers and these two favourites are definitely good, but the other teams have shown poor quality football. I think it might be a consequence of the pandemic. That's why Argentina and Brazil are only good on paper so far.
