1881  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Russia is surviving NATO-backed sanctions on: April 16, 2023, 11:12:35 PM
you make one mistake in your reasoning that leads to completely wrong conclusions. You forget that such a large organism as a country with over 100 million citizens, with the largest area, based on strategically important raw materials, does not collapse in one day. These are the months/years during which little can be seen until the subcritical stage is reached, which is the beginning of rapid changes. So the fact that russia hasn't collapsed in 1 year is not proof that russia's economic isolation doesn't work.

What we already see:
1- the Russian currency has lost 30% against the dollar in the last 100 days
2- in the first three months of 2023, russia exceeded the budget deficit planned for the whole year
3- demographic problems caused by young people fleeing the country
4- rising tensions in some regions of Russia, which may result in a breakaway from Russia.

Why 2022 wasn't so bad for russians? Because of the inflationary panic and unrest related to the war that inflated the prices of raw materials in the short term, which increased the revenues to the budget. The temporary pump is over, raw materials are back down to the levels prior to the war, and the beginning of 2023 looks like the beginning of a disaster.

You make one major mistake in your thinking. Your view is from a US/Nato point rather than from the Russian point of view.

Russia would have liked to have traded with the US and Nato. But the sanctions only made her move on to solidifying BRICS and adding new applicants for it, and operation her economy in ways she wasn't ready for, then. Besides, many US and Nato companies are trading with Russia under pseudonyms. Russia is doing just fine, but her success can't be measured by US/Nato methods of measuring.

^^^ The people of Finland aren't interested in a fight against Russia.

Yes, that's why they joined NATO.

Spot on. And because they were attacked by the old USSR not that long ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_War

Do you think that if the RF implodes again like with the Tzars in WW I, then with Gorby Finland could take the opportunity to recover the stolen land?

Finland stupidity. Yank the tail of a bear already fighting, and who is arming up for major war? GET IT ON, RUSSIA!

Russia isn't fast enough for you. Push yourselves into becoming part of a new USSR that Russia tried to drop over 3 decades ago. You Finland jokers are really asking for it. And the Twitchyseal prompting that is making is seem okay, is something that will give him a good laugh when Russia slaps Finland.

How in the world dense are you? That you would think that the US and Nato are not at war with Russia. Look at all the money and armament that the US and Nato sent to Ukraine to fight Russia. World media is showing all about this. And you think that the US and Nato aren't fighting Russia? Lol. Cheesy

Finland into Nato is a show, just to make people like you think that Russia is losing, so you and others like you keep on supplying your governments with money to send to Ukraine. Average people of Finland and other Nato countries don't want a war with Russia. But they are getting it because the leaders are warmongers.
Your thoughts that we would be manipulated by our "leaders" is insane and from playbook of Kremlin propaganda. But sounds like you don't know how wars work either. There might be a "cold war", that's debatable but if nato actually joined in to actual war, oh boy you would know. And you are right that no one of us want the war, but most of us want to support Ukraine by arming them and supporting otherwise. If russia wants to start actual war because of it.

Russia withdrawing their forces and paying for their war crimes would be so much easier.

I would agree that it is probably much more difficult for the people of a smaller country like Finland to be overcome by the leaders and media of your country, but your own fear of the Stalin years and their possible return might cloud your judgment.

More than anything, Russia is fighting encroachment by the US and Nato. You remember that Russia dropped the USSR 'act' decades ago. But they did it for peace, not for the US providing continual encroachment to break them up... as the US is attempting to do through NATO and Ukraine.

The Ukraine problem is about the US becoming active through Ukraine, killing Russians and Ukrainians, like Stalin did many of his own people. US in Ukraine was is essentially Stalin in the body of Zelensky. That is why Russia invaded, and to stop the advancement and encroachment of the US on Russia through Nato.

Maybe Finland has some big armament hidden away there, but joining Nato just as Ukraine was trying to do, is really asking for it... even if you don't do a single thing for the next 100 years to advance against Russia.

It's not like Finland was simply acting for better trade relations with the US and Nato countries. It's like teasing a bear who is already slapping at an enemy, and arming up for major war. Finland stupidity.

Notwithstanding the hearts of those people who believe in Jesus-salvation...

The most important place in the earth is the area of Jerusalem in Israel, and areas East of it. Why? Because the History of the Bible Old Testament shows and tells us this.

Jerusalem is the place where the great and 'holy' king of Abraham's day lived... Melchizedek. It's the area of the Garden of Eden - East of Jerusalem. It's the place where Jesus died for the sins of the whole world and arose to life, again, on the third day - just outside of Jerusalem.

People live many other places, but God's people around the world carry a piece of this area in their hearts, even if they don't know it.

"The Divine Entity (God) doesn't want encryption or a currency."-How do you know this? How can you convince me that this is true? Do you have a message from a divine entity stating that divine digital signatures are unwarranted? And is this message cryptographically signed with a divine digital signature?

"People have been trying to buy God off, and encrypt him into their own schemes for ages."-Um. Historical cryptography is irrelevant. The AES symmetric algorithm was standardized in 2001. Before that, people had to use the DES for encryption multiple times which was not good. This means that we can safely ignore what people thought about cryptography before the 21st century. Divine digital signatures do not have anything to do with any currencies. I am asking for $200/hr to develop a divine digital signature algorithm because I will not work for free, and you should not expect me to develop a divine digital signature algorithm for free.

Do you even know what cryptographic hash functions, Merkle trees, the AES block cipher, SHA-256, and digital signatures are?

You simply don't understand the greatness of God, or His love for all people. God wants what people want, as long as people are faithful to Him. So, He wants crypto because some of His faithful people want it. But what He wants even more is faith in His Son, Jesus, so that they can be saved. This involves advertising such, right out in the open, which is exactly the opposite of encrypting it.

Playing with the idea of a few piddly advancements in cryptography being able to hold a candle to God is simpleton talk. So, why would anyone want anyone else to develop a divine digital signature? Even the meaning of 'divine digital signature algorithm' is incomprehensible, to say nothing about impossible (probably). God allows a lot, but He as told us that as high as the Heaven are above the earth, so are His thoughts above our thoughts and His ways above our ways.

If I were a bad guy, I would be right in there with you. But even though I'm not a bad guy, I totally understand your position.

You have a bunch of 'fellows' who think the same way as you, and so you continually talk the batch of you into believing your lies. And you won't even consult the experiments truthfully, but use warped experimentation to produce whatever you want.

What do you want? Money, and a good name, of course. So, you talk the medical lies into continuing as much as possible, so that you get your money, even when it kills loads of innocent people.

Of course, its the stupidity of the lambs that make it so easy for you to continue. But when you find a few people who show you the truth to your face, it's then that you start picking on the people rather than the data and the processes for getting the data.

Del Bigtree of The Highwire fame, has interview at least dozens of professionals linked to the Covid disease and the Covid vaccines in some ways. These professionals have shown exactly the various ways that standard medicine is a lie, especially regarding Covid, and all vaccines. At this point, since there is much conflict already, and Russia has given Nato ultimatums that Nato is disregarding, why should Russia make more threats against Nato? When the time comes, Russia will have to get serious about war... and do it... against all of Europe and the US. And it seems like China and some other countries will side with Russia.
-cut-
They are doing all they can already and still russia is losing men left and right. Putin has a cancer special medical operation and Putin's Russia is near total collapse. Everyone with a brain and means to do it has already fleed the country. And if by "getting serious" you mean Russia nuking Ukraine, china wouldn't side with Russia after that. No one would. Finland is in because Nato is losing, and needs all the help they can get.

Well, to be fair and stick to the facts there are historic examples of people committing atrocities in the name of their religion, so I would not say that believing in God and killing people are two mutually exclusive characteristics. I do believe that Putin has religious views, that would explain his close relation with the Russian church, which is very much in favor of the attack on Ukraine.

Also, I do not doubt he has friends in charge of important industries like Gas/oil and management of military personnel. Most of them, I assume, are already sanctioned.

Because Zelensky has essentially shut down all churches in Ukraine, but especially the Russian Orthodox Church. It's all about saving souls.

Why do it the vaxx way?
Why indeed! Why use vaccines which work, when we could use homeopathy which doesn't? It's a real conundrum! I'm sure this meeting of Bitcointalk's finest anti-vax minds will figure it out though!

Vaccines don't work as they are said to work. The only reason they seem to work is, they 'scare' the person's immune system into putting out tons of energy to fight the vaxx, thereby getting rid of the target disease along with a whole bunch of other diseases.

This weakens the immune system so badly that, once it relaxes to rebuild itself, it's much easier for the person to get sick from something in the next attack. Constant vaccination weakens the immune system until some, dumb, little thing like covid actually makes a few people sick. The example of this is that a very high percent of the covid-sick are the people who have been covid-vaxxed.

Proper nutrition, hygiene, along with homeopathy keeps the person from getting sick in the first place.

You may be satisfied with prayer, meditation, and reading, but others will want more evidence of the authenticity of the scriptures, and what better evidence can there be of the authenticity of the scriptures than a divine digital signature. Now that will be $200/hr. Pay up. github.com/sponsors/jvanname

AES has anywhere between 128 and 256 bits of security. A divine digital signature encryption function can have millions of bits of security. A divine digital signature encryption function will (once standardized) be the most cryptographically secure protocol in the world. Of course, all of this security will be unnecessary for most practical purposes, but it is needed for authenticating the scriptures.

Once I get paid for developing a divine digital signature encryption function, I plan on using my L_{2,d}-spectral radius function to evaluate the cryptographic security of a divine digital signature.

The Divine Entity (God) doesn't want encryption or a currency. People have been trying to buy God off, and encrypt him into their own schemes for ages.

The thing that God wants is for everybody to know Him directly, and to get their prayers answered directly. The fact that He is allowing such a thing as cryptography, shows that He is playing peoples' own games with them with the hopes that a few of them, anyway, will come to believe in Him and be saved through the crypto idea somehow.

So, you won't be able to deliver, even if you really wanted to.

Regarding all politicians, all that it takes to remove them is a Big Business paid shooter. I'm sure there are rifles that can shoot accurately over a mile.

Biden is bought and paid for by Big Business. If he doesn't perform, he can be taken out by a shooter or by one of many other ways. Joe and Hunter both know this. Maybe that's why Joe is losing his mind, and why Hunter is doing drugs. Escape mechanisms. They know they are dead any moment big Business wants.

Cool

If we talk about the influence of Big businesses over the American Politics and politicians, then you should not ignore the fact there are also Republican CEOs and big business owners which are major donators to the campaign of GOP representatives. It is a known fact there is a lot of money donated to both sides.

So what was the coping mechanism of Trump, Bush, or Clinton while there were in the White House, because they were also at mercy of the same big powers.
I would say that Trump liked to play golf and drink diet coke to forget about it as well.

Who knows for sure but, Trump actually has thought things through, Bush's daughter bought 10,000 acres of land in Argentina for him if he needs it, and Clinton has all those sexual escapades.

Biden knows that his opponents know how his people stole the election for him, and how he isn't really the real president. He Also knows that he needs to do the impossible for his own people considering the way they all have pulled his strings so far.

So, Biden is an enemy of three things:
1. His own people who he is failing;
2. The opposition who know that he is corrupt to the core;
3. His own, simple, fear... which might be more than the other two combined.

That's enough to drive anybody nuts. If they are going to do it... it's the waiting and wondering.

BREAKING: Trump Sues Michael Cohen for $500 Million

https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/breaking-trump-sues-michael-cohen-for-500-million-mace/
Trump is seeking damages from Michael Cohen in a trial for compensatory, incidental, actual, and punitive losses.

The lawsuit states, "This is an action arising from [Cohen's] multiple breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, conversion and breaches of contract by virtue of [Cohen's] past service as [Trump's] employee and attorney."

Fox News reported:

The lawsuit alleges Cohen breached his attorney-client relationship by "spreading falsehoods" about Trump that were "likely to be embarrassing or detrimental, and partook in other misconduct," while also breaching contractual terms of a confidentiality agreement he signed as a condition of employment with Trump.

The lawsuit alleges Cohen spread falsehoods about Trump "with malicious intent and to wholly self-serving ends."

No, better to just let children needlessly die of preventable diseases. Roll Eyes What an absolutely monstrous opinion to hold.

Also pretty telling that this thread has devolved in to anti-vaxxers genuinely, and without a hint of irony, discussing the benefits of drinking their own piss.

Standard medical stupidity. Spend billions on vaccination, and almost nothing on prevention through nutrition and homeopathy, so that diseases are eradicated before they infect anyone.

Why do it the vaxx way? To make money off the sheeple, who are only now, after a couple hundred years, finding out how to be free from medication/poison through nutrition.
