1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: June 27, 2016, 12:47:39 PM
To be honest i am afraid to say anything about this because it is really tough to get know how much we can earn with gambling, most like it depends on amount and what odds for bet, if we risked on big odds than we have to make more huge profit but if like to play safe than we make some low amount.

People lose their money even after putting the odds of winning to 98 or 99%, so there is really no guaranteed profit in gambling, you can win big in seconds if you are lucky and you can also lose everything in seconds if you are unlucky at that time.

A player should known from the start that gambling is really risky and you can not predict any given result from it even if the odds of winning is 99% the 1% has a tendency of getting at you anytime you try to want to win in gambling.
That should be the mindset of a responsible player, if he knows the risk then he would be careful with his money and the result will be awesome, more enjoyment than the amount of lose. However, if you are a serious gambler who aims to make money, you should not enjoy the game and only focus base on your strategy, it is hard to enjoy then your emotions will dictate you.
1882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go to US$800+ on: June 27, 2016, 12:41:18 PM
Well  I think it will cross above 800$ but it would not get so far from that.

Even that is great success! And if we can hold this price until new year that would be great work, cause that would mean that bitcoin is serious thing. Well for us its serious already, but for people who never heard about it will mean a lot. Now many more eyes follow btc halving then 4 years ago, that means something.

No that will not be the greater success as you will see that after halving $800 will be a much lower value for all of us and we will see the price of bitcoin at more than $1000 and after that we will wish for the price to reach to more higher level.

if price is to follow the natural path and grow then it should take a much longer time to reach $800-$1000 and above but this is not going to happen and the rise will be because of the hype if it happens fast and right after halving.

$800 is possible to achieve before the halving and if it doesn't then I don't think that it can touch it after the halving as price will start to fall once the halving is done.
Yes, it could even happen by the end of this month early next month. I still believe that the halving is still in the air, the price have not fall back hard from its previous rise, so that only means that bitcoins will surprise us again with another skyrocket.
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: June 27, 2016, 12:36:06 PM
This is opposite from topic "How much can u win with gambling?". Well I`m on zero again, I`m looking how much I can win with gambling but actually I`m tryin to calculate how much can i lose. It`s always small amout`s but after many times this several small amount`s becoming one big one. There is some crazy stories on internet about people that have it all in one moment...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/active/mens-health/10976770/Online-gambling-how-I-lost-my-wife-children-and-750000.html
And this guy started  with almost nothing and made almost $500,000 gambling with Bitcoin, then he lost it all in about 60 seconds. https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1ch7wb/

So pretty simple question, how much can YOU lose with gambling?

Well to be fair, I can lose everything. A person can go as far as to make debt to cover the loss, then gamble that away as well, and then the loan sharks come to collect *shivers  down spine* . In the end it depends on what type of person your are, what mindset you are in when doing the deed and many other factors. Me personally, I can only lose what im willing to put in, which is around 2Bitcoins. Nothing more and if i ever recover that, then i'll probably be willing to lose it again. How much time I'm willing to lose on video games is different matter though because I am weak in that aspect Grin
That is the worse case scenario when you are addicted with gambling and your last resort is to take a loan from sharks, your life then will  be in danger if you cannot pay on time. If you have seen the movie that gambling by mark wahlberg, you will understand why we should not be addicted with gambling.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: June 27, 2016, 12:25:47 PM
Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.

Have you ever heard of Counting Cards in BlackJack? Ever heard of the story "MIT students figured out how to make winning the Massachusetts lottery a sure thing" ? Horse racing fixing perhaps ? So to be really honest, no, gambling is not only considered for entertainment purposes. Its considered for making money as well.

Ps. every choice in life is a gamble, because no person can be 100% sure of anything. so choose carefully  Grin
I watched that movie and it is a great movie but in the end they still lose, when you play in a casino you will be monitored by the house when you keep on winning and because they want to protect their business they will ban you.

1886  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 27, 2016, 12:17:48 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
I say do both as well, save some of your money in the bank or some safe at home. Then invest the rest that you are wiling to risk or lose in the long run. Investing always entails risk while saving is not.

Saving is safe undoubtedly but the fact is you cannot expect good benefits in future that you can get from investments, and after all we need to take that extra risk to secure future.
Only start with investing after you've secured your savings. It is not advisable to go all in on investing without having buffer for unforeseen events or emergencies. For example, if you suddenly lose your and all your money is on investments, and that investment is still not making any profit, you would be forced to withdraw that investment for additional fee or at a loss. That is why it is still better to have both for a more secured future.

Yeah saving is really important in life, as if your investment goes wrong at least you have some back up that can take care of you and your expenses.
Saving and investment are bought important, but saving is necessary, save as much as you can for the future especially to be ready for any emergencies in life but to earn more you need to invest some of your savings.

For an average earning person investment will  always begin with savings, as if he have saved good amount of money then only he would be able to invest in future as every investment needs capital.
It is not just for average earning person, we all start with savings and the should be the process even if you are rich, investment is like a gambling, it is risky so we might lose, with that, we have to spot a good investment that is worth with our money.
1887  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 27, 2016, 12:13:13 PM
If youre income here in the forum for a month which came from sig campaign  is higher than your current job salary, then it would be better to quit from it,and look for another job that pays much higher than your monthly income by earning bitcoins.
How would be the income of signature campaign be higher than the income in real life, to tell you man signature campaign is just for side job and you cannot rely it to finance you daily expenses in life.
I think job in signature campaign only provide income per month was 0.2 BTC the largest that I saw. it costs $ 120 per month? I think everyone has a salary greater than the signature campaign? IMO
yeah I also think that the signature campaign only as a side job that very profitable

I dont think it would be better than making a stable income but it definitely could help you out a lot with just secondary funds or if you really needed it for a bill or something to scrounge up really easily to get that one thing that you need paid off.

Good luck using it as a full time job though you will never make enough unless you dont pay for living expenses.

Bitcoin is always good as an secondary income and it can never replace primary income  for sure, better try to earn from both of them to have good and secured life ahead.
Yeah it is good as an secondary income but it is not as good as an main income because Bitcoin is not that consistent to be able to be a main income.
So I suggest that you do it on the side next to a normal job.

Bitcoin job is really a good thing for considering it as side job not a full time. But it depends if you are going to work full time in bitcoin.
I don't know the possible jobs that can be considered to be working full time with bitcoin.
You must be not matured yet, those matured people would not choose a stable job that pays low, we love to take the risk and challenge ourselves to make it to the top. Remember that we can only be rich when we take big risk and that will only be possible when you focus on investment or your own business.

If you want to take risk in business then it should be something else where you know that you can earn from it for the lifetime, same doesn't goes with bitcoin as no one knows how long it will survive.
Yeah, but it is not a sin to try our luck with bitcoins. For me, I am so inspire by those early adopters who already got billionaires because of bitcoins and I know it will happen to me in the future as long as I am sticking with bitcoin no matter what happen, of course I would only invest what I could afford to lose but it is worth a shot.

Guys, dump this shitcoin to 0.0001, this coins is a scam   Shocked Cry

And said it, this guy Smiley

I tried to pump waves when bioviva news was released, but i failed, damn lost 4 btc on your shitcoin.  Angry

his name is wavespump yet he don't believe waves. you should have named yourself wavesdumb.

i hear polo will add waves next 2 month after ultimate dump bitcoin halving, waves will hit 1/10 from ico price, no luck then

if polo will list it then good. if not its their loss, they could have gained a lot thru the trading volume since its started.
As long as there is no problem with the system of waves it is impossible that polo will not list waves, exchange sites are into profit and imagine how much service charges they can get when waves will be traded in their site. Only dumb sites will decline waves.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: June 27, 2016, 11:42:53 AM
Ever go all in  Shocked  and have a positive result?

Let's arrange your sentence the other way around...

I go all in... and never had positive result.  Cheesy

HAHA Funny you say that... never say never.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1446080.0

Just hard to do constantly...anything can happen
ALLL IN means you bet your entire bankroll in one game and then quit regardless of the result, if you said you never get positive result then you much be so unlucky person.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 27, 2016, 11:34:49 AM
No gambling is not wrong as long as you know how to play limited bets.It is your own fault to loose money.Actually gredd is element once it dominates then loosing is sure thing.Gambling is fun and entertaining as long as you play smaller bets. There is nothing wrong with it.

In the eyes of men gambling is not really wrong but in the eyes of our GOD gambling is really wrong for the purposed of only money and money is the root of all evil in these world that is why in my opinion gambling is really wrong.

In what part of your sacred book exactly was it mentioned that God hates gambling? Gambling might be wrong in other people's religion but not all. And also, it's really modern now. Most people don't believe (or just ignore) the existence of God. There are tons of atheists out there so let's just leave the religious part of something being wrong.

I agree that money is the root of all evil. But you cannot conclude that gambling is wrong because there's money involved. Half of the things in this world has to do with money, so based on your logic, all of them are wrong together with gambling.
God only forbid us not do bad things and gambling will only be bad if you will not act accordingly. The rules here is to enjoy and spend your money and the other way around.
1891  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 27, 2016, 11:30:40 AM
I do not spend them actively right now and I'm also not planning this to be honest because I think that spending them now is not good.
Why its not good because there is gonna be a profitable halving next month.
I think because halving coming doesn't mean you have to stop to do spending. I think not a problem to spending I also still shopping although I also have plans to sell bitcoin when halving. but with a note that you should not spend lavishly then spending will not harm you

You have the point, but the thing is before spending you need to take the opportunity by waiting the halving. But it is still up to you guys if you want
to continue spending your bitcoins.
But I want to suggest just wait for the halving and after getting some profit then go spend actively again.

Everyone loves to spend their bitcoins that is why we are earning it, but at this stage its not affordable to spend, we need sit quite for some more days, and spend once the halving is done.

Of course you need to consider things that are important for spending your money. But today is really a good way of getting profit by just simply
stopping your spending actively of your bitcoins.
Just wait for almost 2 weeks for the halving and the price will surely increase.
Yeah better not to spend now and wait for the halving, as majority of community feels that price will touch at $1k at halving which will be the best time to sell.
I also think that it is not the best idea to spend Bitcoins at the moment because the halving can come soon and this is the time to make money.
If you want to spend coins that is your choice but I would not recommend it to be honest.
If you are a spender you cannot help but spend your bitcoins because you can be easily attracted to buy things, only discipline people who knows and has the ability to wait can benefit in investment, this year is a good year to invest but it still depends on the willingness of a person.

1893  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 27, 2016, 11:16:57 AM
Well If your kid wants that here is my suggestion. Consider this as a suggestion from a teenager who is currently going to school. If the kid thinks like me, then try teaching him how to trade altcoins. For me it is fun to watch the ups and downs of price so im having fun while earning with it. I do signature campaigns to sharpen my mind so it is also beneficial for me.  Grin

I don't think kids would find seeing the charts of an alt coin fun. Not every time an alt coin's price will move. Some coins will have no buyer/seller for hours or sometimes more. And also, trading alt coins aren't just about buying something at a low price and then selling them at a higher price. As a trader, you have to consider a lot of things before buying an alt coin. It looks like you're just into short selling though. Believing in an alt coin for a long time would be really not a thing for kids. They get bored easily. I don't think they will make money out of trading because they get excited and wants an instant result which mostly isn't the case in trading.
LOL! you kid will become crazy at the young age interpreting the chart movements, not really good for the kids to do trading because it is very risky and it is like gambling, of course as a kid they should not be expose on that trend yet.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 26, 2016, 02:47:18 PM
Just a few hours more to the Q&A guys. For anyone who's concerned, please feel free to join in the Q&A on TaiZen's youtube channel : https://www.youtube.com/user/PrisonOrFreedom

Direct link should be up once it's live. Will keep everyone posted!

Just 1h 30min then we will see how the price will react. Currently the price came to an hold.
Then good time to buy, I have to say this one more time, stop dumping and trust waves developers as they are making every measures to make waves a classy one, we do not belong to the price now and if you are smart you know what to do in this kind of situation.

Lol, Trust is a big word in cryptoland...

The only reason I made a decent profit on waves is that I went Against Sashas advice  "Don't trade on Yobit, You will loose money"

yet, anyone who deposited there and sold during the first days, made a profit.

Moral of the story:  Don't trust devs, I only trust the product i see.  And the movement of Millions$$$  ico money is starting to smell stinky, especially with users having issues recieving and withdrawing.
I don't think deposits were ever active on yobit so what you say would have been impossible.....

Yobit were talking deposits via a support ticket since the 18th
Exactly, but I failed to ride with them because I was thinking when waves launch in bittrex we can see a higher price that yobit is offering, unfortunately that didn't realize so I will be waiting now until the price will increase.
1895  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 26, 2016, 02:41:33 PM
Well i guess its really bad idea educating kids about faucets and games to make money, the kid will be addicted one day and loose interest in studies , so stop pushing him/her in that path and instead you can ask your kid to concentrate on the studies , so that your kid can grow bright in future and make a good career and who knows? one day he/she may own a casino Smiley
Exactly, kids should be kids and all they need to do is just to play and study. That is the best way to nurture your child and never expose him with money at a young age because he will be a corrupt man in the future.
1896  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: June 26, 2016, 02:37:51 PM
The only safe way I know is just campaigns and that is told already on this topic multiple times so I do not say anything new but its true.
Signature campaign is a good earning from a single post its like you are only win win win scenario and I think I like it to the possible extent. If signature campaign didn't  exist maybe this forum will only have a few intelligent member having participate that it is not intentional just from my perspective of view.

Yes signature campaign is a good way of earning and also a safe way of growing bitcoins. But still you don't have to depend only with signature campaigns.
You also have to have other ways of earning for the growth of your bitcoins and signature campaign is not of it.

Agree you can try also trading with altcoin it will make profit 10x or more if you had a good choice of buying altcoin.  Before you come in trading u need to learn first you can lost with trading if you not carefull before joining in trading be sure that you had enough knowledge.
If you want trading you have to start with a small amount to learn and x10 is not guaranteed because majority of altcoins are shit coins. You can only select the more legit coins and those are coins which has raised a good amount of money during the ICO.

Marry an old ,single and rich woman...

Who's your mammy?
That is nasty, I will not do that in my case even if I want to rich. I know there other legit ways to be rich or if it is hard to rich in legit ways then I would not still do that, I would rather rob a bank.

What I like about the news recently is the move of DROSE to the knicks. New york knicks is a good market so he can be popular their when we can show the old rose. I believe Anthony would love to play with a very good point guard, another big 3 to watch with porzingis.
i just hoping that this big three will combined good for new your i can see all of them is a good in terms of shooting ability but
in terms of being a team player and win the game i can't see them to blend the team, hope the coach can make them
a good plays and team works.
The big are both good in offense, porzingis can shoot threes and when he is aggressive he is good in getting offensive rebound. Under a new coach we can expect a good performance with the offense oriented coach of hornacek.
If porzingis will be consistent, they have a good chance to enter in the playoffs this coming season, I really thought last season that porzingis will be the rookie of the year but he failed to perform consistently and his team is not performing well. I hope this coming season he will reclaim the porzingis we know.
New york knicks will be a team to watch in the coming season, they have a good line up and will probably improve their offense. Carmelo should step up and we hope that they are all healthy in the entire season especially DROSE.
