1901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 06:33:46 PM
This story is undoubtedly an amazing road to success, but one can imagine thousands of completely opposite events. For example, when a man is on the verge of bankruptcy and carries money into a casino, hoping for a miracle, but ends up with nothing. Or an addicted gambler who bets his monthly salary on red or black, and his family is left without food and in debt until his next paycheck.
1902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: July 05, 2022, 05:13:43 PM
The only club I know is Swedish Malmo, who play against Vikings Reykjavik. So I can assume Malmo will win because they did well in the Europa League last season. Maybe Ludogorets will still win today. But so far, the Champions League matches are not very interesting.
1903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 05, 2022, 11:43:52 AM
I think, in general, it's harder for people to stop their addiction when it's genetic. Most of the time, they will always come back to what makes them happy or what makes them feel fulfilled or something. It will be hard to overcome that, but that's just how you will know how strong the person is with willpower.

Comparing them to someone who has just gotten into the habit it's doing it is challenging. I think there's no significant difference.

Maybe there is no difference because such an addiction is in everyone's DNA. Some have a stronger predisposition, others a weaker one, but the principle behind gambling is the same for every person. It's like the taste buds on your tongue. Gambling affects the same areas of the brain. It's just that not all people engage in gambling. But research shows roughly the same pattern of pathology in addicts.
1904  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 05, 2022, 10:10:50 AM
I'm sure it won't be 50k or 40k this month. I hope for a bounce to at least 25-27k. That would be very good. But that bitcoin can make x2 or even more in such a bad market in just 1 month is fantastic. So far all markets look awful and closer to winter the situation is predicted to worsen.
1905  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 30k Range again on: July 04, 2022, 05:49:08 PM
I Think bitcoin could go toward 30k range again For a relief rally. Then come back to current range or even more dump possible . If btc would go toward 30k range most of investors will sell it again. BTCBTC

Bottom is in when the derivatives market is shorting $BTC into the dirt after the brunt of the spot selling has taken place. i.m.o we are currently in a bottom level. must be make an Uptrend from here. what ever it is  this isn't short term game.

Well its been 2 weeks now from your post here yet nothing comes close to 30k , and the price stays lowering up to now, though it keeps hitting 20k yet that is the highest it can bring from your date post.
I'm afraid that there are nothing we can expect this whole year , maybe we will be seeing more dumping in the coming months  and up to 4th quarter there will be the same movement.
but at least we will not be seeing that 10k below prices because that is very hard and bad to look at for those who had been trusting bitcoin this whole year.
Two weeks is not much time to recover, especially after such a hard fall. However, a new week has started today and we are seeing attempts at growth, although earlier weeks started with a fall. Maybe this time we will see green on the chart. Especially encouraging is the start of a new month, which might set a new trend.
1906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: July 04, 2022, 04:22:28 PM
I don't understand the point of bots playing the casino instead of you? Firstly, you will lose your money the same way you would if you were gambling yourself, and secondly, you won't get any of the enjoyment that people usually come to gambling sites for. Honestly, I've never thought of there being gambling bots.
1907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 04, 2022, 12:44:20 PM
The most important rule in any business involving risk and money is proper money management. Without clear rules you will lose your capital, no matter how big or small. If your bank is 200 dollars and you are betting 100 dollars, which is 50% of the bank, it is wrong and is the main reason for your losses.
1908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: July 03, 2022, 07:20:42 AM
Investing is bitcoin in current scenario is certainly not a good way to fight inflation or hedge against inflation. Yes if you want a good long term hedge against inflation. I will say bitcoin will be one of your best option. In future bitcoin will surely reach 100K. For a long time in future, we see bitcoin will remain the undisputed king of crypto
I don't want to question bitcoin as I myself believe in it and the blockchain technology. But I think most cryptocurrencies will have problems after CBDC, bitcoin included. I mean its value because governments will try to ban crypto in order to promote their currency. After all, bitcoin will work even at a cost of e.g. $1000.
1909  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 02, 2022, 07:16:12 PM
My predictions for May and June did not come true. Every month I thought bitcoin would bounce back up, but it fell harder every month. For July I am even more confident that a bounce will definitely happen this month, although if I stick to my past predictions, there will be a bigger drop in July. Cheesy
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: July 02, 2022, 05:27:44 PM
Right now, in terms of savings, it is better to use BNB. It is cheaper and faster than ETH transactions, but I think if BNB has the same number of projects as ETH, the blockchain might not be able to handle the load. In general, I don't understand the hype around Ethereum. I guess there is a lot of money and serious people behind it, there is no other explanation why people use it.
1911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q2 Bitcoin Close -56% on: July 02, 2022, 11:51:32 AM
I have also heard that this is the worst quarterly drop in bitcoin history, but even without that many previous patterns have been broken. For example the worst RSI value, the highest number of consecutive red weeks, being below 200-MA. Dropping below the previous ATH. I think that if you look for reasons, you can find something else. Last time the terrible year was considered 2020, now it is 2022.
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 02, 2022, 09:17:05 AM
I think everyone has a predisposition to gambling because all casinos are built on the same principles of psychology. Maybe it's in the DNA, but I think that this genetics is not only responsible for gambling addiction, but also for greed, encouragement, pleasure. So those people who are more prone to these feelings are more likely to be addicted.
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 02, 2022, 07:54:34 AM
According to reports by Bleacher Reports, the Adidas 2022 World Cup ball will now feature a device for tracking of offside. This ball will give VAR precise data to support offside calls

What are your views about this innovation

Well, why am I not surprised? AI is taking over most jobs. However, since this is going to be the first time this semi-automated offside technology will be used in a FIFA World Cup, I expect to see one or two errors in judgement because there's is going to be new and unique scenarios that may prove quite difficult for the machine to interpret. Well, I'd wait to watch how it plays out during the games in November. It will still the a humans with the technical-know-how to operate it.
I too find this innovation unnecessary, at least for determining offside. Maybe for determining out, arm play or a questionable moment when hitting the goal. But it's not quite clear to me how the AI will determine offside. That would require chips on each player for accurate positional detection.

let me explain briefly. It's true that the world cup will be equipped with semi-automatic offside innovations, visual tools that can help referees accurately, although Colina said that the final decision remains with the referee, I think this innovation is very helpful at least it can reduce the ridiculous drama that often happens in football. semi-automatic offside technology supported by 12 cameras that can detect 29 data points of the players as well as the world cup ball will be equipped with sensors that have high accuracy. so according to the source I read the data will be automatically sent automatically with a video visualization to the offside operational room. quite complicated but at least FIFA claims this technology will be faster and more accurate.

I thought the regular video replay did the same job of fixing offside. It's just not clear to me why the ball should be fixed when the player who was offside should be fixed. So it seems to me that at the same time as the ball, a device should be placed on each player to make this system work clearly.
1914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with the market? on: July 01, 2022, 04:45:01 PM
Alameda Research deals with the dirty business of the cryptocurrency market. They are involved in the collapse of LUNA, they bankrupted the Celsius Network to flood their business on the cheap. The list of their bad deeds could go on and on, I think they have deleted all their tweets because of this, so that in case of investigations they cannot be subjected to unnecessary questions.

1916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $17.5K the low? on: July 01, 2022, 01:10:52 PM
It seems to me that there is no point in guessing where the bottom is now, because if it hasn't happened yet, there will probably be a rebound soon. It is unlikely that bitcoin will suffer the fate of the dotcoms, so I don't think the price will return to very low levels. Even if we have to see 10k, I am sure it will not be long and will be a very good opportunity to buy more bitcoin.
1917  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom? on: July 01, 2022, 08:40:04 AM
The approximate bottom can be determined by using various indicators such as RSI, 200 SMA, and volumes. For example, they all show an absolute bottom right now, but that does not mean that the price will not go even lower. It means that statistically with these indicators the price was near the lower limit and then bounced upwards. If you want to find the bottom, you should not think of a daily or weekly chart, but at least a monthly chart.
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: July 01, 2022, 05:56:44 AM
When the market is red like now, the best choice is hold, if we sell it now it will lose money, I am always optimistic that the market is always bounced again, and with hold then we can maintain opportunities for profit.
On 27 May, when this thread appeared, the prices of many coins were twice as much as they are now. It's only a month of HOLD. So it was much better to sell a month ago, but no one knew things would drop so much. It's true that there are no preconditions for a reversal now either, so in a month's time you might regret not selling now too.
1919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: June 30, 2022, 05:39:42 PM
I think there is enough bitcoin for all people, due to the fact that it is made up of 100M satoshi.

Yes, but this does not mean that bitcoin will be divided equally among all people. Institutions like MicroStrategy disclosed that it had purchased 480 Bitcoins for about $10 million from May 3 to June 28 are buying bitcoin because they know the value of it.
Every satoshi will become expensive and expensive as more people will buy bitcoins. Also, note that they are thousands of bitcoins that are already lost because the owners have lost the private keys.
If you plan to invest in bitcoin, do it now before it's too late, too expensive to buy even a satoshi.
In my opinion, a 480 bitcoin purchase by Saylor is a gambling addiction, when you have a huge unrealised loss but still buy with your last bit of money. Why else would he buy so little, as the deal is very profitable? Especially since he is already known for his grand bankruptcy in the past. All in all, I wouldn't put much trust in his laser eyes.
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: June 30, 2022, 03:46:12 PM
I think there is enough bitcoin for all people, due to the fact that it is made up of 100M satoshi. That is, bitcoin is a divisible unit and satoshi is indivisible. So it is appropriate to talk about deflation of bitcoin, but not quite logical yet, because it can be bought at any time. You can talk all you want about dollar inflation, but the value of bitcoin is measured in dollars. If bitcoin were a bailout for inflation, it would not be repeating the charts of the stock indices right now.
