Especially coins that work in a POS system or DPOS like ARK give you a good steady flow of money, like a better-than-banks interest rate. I'm holding ARK since 2€ and XRP since 0,18€ and though it's true I could have sold high and rebought lower, it's psychologically too demanding to sell something early and wait for it to drop in order to buy again. I believe I'd just end up buying higher if the price wouldn't fall within 24h

I'd avoid holding shitcoins though that meet one or more of the following criteria,
- The team members are unknown or there's just a list of names that you can't confirm if it's real or not.
- There are no updates from the team after they posted a whitepage
- They do post updates but only too good promises and no actual facts/changes/upgrades
-- If one of the aboves is combined with a premine or ICO, that should be a red flag. Don't buy or if you mine it, don't HODL.

To add on that, I'm also on the lookout for solutions like that. So far I'm only saving up on coins and don't spends them, but in the near future I'll want to use them for purchases.
A card that saves me the fees of transferring coins and fiat money back and forth would be very helpful, especially to people who are not very tech-savvy... like my mother for example who owns 300 XRP since 6 months ago after my suggestion!

What the guy above me said plus it's important for decentralization. I can't know nor control how NiceHash uses my hashrate. As far as I can know, I give my mining power to NiceHash and then they could use it in a different way than what the info they feed into their program informs me.
I've found 3 pools I like (zpool, Zergpool and MiningPoolHub), I've tried and keep trying them to see how they each perform over the long run and I'm planning to keep the best 2.
So far I think the combination of Zergpool and MiningPoolHub performs best, but there are so many pools that I haven't try.

I think every GPU algo. But even if there's a new algo that you want to use, you can just add the miner settings on the right folder and insert the algo's name in the right file.
Oh, and ofcourse you'll also need a pool that supports this algo.

You don't have to worry about that though since someone experienced will most likely add the new algo to Nemos before you do and then you can download the files from github.

You're right this is a serious matter. But I didn't read anywhere in their announcement they're going for a brand new coin. They won't create a new algo, they'll just change some parameters which is similar to editing a config file. They'll do some minor changes to reduce the "un-traceability" of transactions and increase the speed of transactions. This sure requires some testing but 1 month is normal.

Other than that, they were probably already testing these changes before the ASIC's "attack", they just happen to apply both these blockchain changes and algo update at the same time. One big update instead of two smaller is generally good for blockchains, since the the pools and exchanges who run multiple coins at the same time, won't have to do much work just for ETN's sake, reducing the chances of something going wrong.

@ETN-Haters I'm sorry but I have to say....... I TOLD YOU SO !! ... one week ago actually!

On my EVGA 1080ti FTW3, one of the sensors reaches over 70 degree, I think it stabilized around 73 but then I closed the miner.
Actually they were 2 sensors at the same point but in different sides of the GPU, one sensor for the memory and one for the power, but my guess is that the power-related component is being overheated and causes the memory next to it to heat as well.

The same problem exists with some Neoscrypt and Equihash miners as well, so it's not just ETHlargement, it might be something with all the 1080TIs or just this specific EVGA's edition.

BTW, is there any way to deactivate the effect of the "pill" without restarting the PC? Just closing the console doesn't seem to change anything.

PS: Where are my miners! Your tool works great at increasing the hashrate, thanks! I just hope it doesn't have a trojan in but I'm not keeping anything worth stealing anyway.

Το 66% πως προέκυψε και με έπιασε η καρδιά μου; Μέχρι 15% correction περιμένω εγώ και μέχρι 20% θα άντεχε το account μου... μετά margin-call και ότι βγάλαμε λίγα χρόνια τώρα που ασχολούμε, βγάλαμε!

Η αλήθεια είναι πως βλέπω μια συσχέτιση (correlation) μεταξύ του χρηματιστηρίου και των crypto, αλλά μπορεί να είναι και σύμπτωση. Εγώ περίμενα πως θα είχαν αντίθετη συσχέτιση. Since the rewards are still going to ASIC miners, even if they've stopped selling for now, they will dump it hard when the price increase. After that, we just hope for a more fair distribution of the coins among holders.

The reason of delisting was that Bittrex was cutting-off coins/tokens with little volume. Since FirstBlood hasn't yet delivered a final product, it makes sence for the volume and price to be low... it's more strange to see projects with no final product to be flying high (If I'm not mistaken, EOS is one such example).

However I'm a bit dissapointed that the team hasn't filled the hole that's left from Bittrex's delisting. I know they're active and the project is ongoing, it's just that they don't seem to be focused on having their coin listed in more exchanges. They seem to prioritize the delivery of their system first before they communicate with exchanges, which makes sense I guess, but would it really be that hard to do both things at the same time?

Personally I want to buy some tokens now that the price is stupidly low, I had not bought when the price was higher and 1ST was listed in Bittrex; however I'm not sure I want to use one of the few exchanges available.

Thanks for all the organizing of the events you run on Discord, but don't you think that if there are no big exchanges available for your coin, then all this marketing is being wasted?
There's this "OKEx" but I don't have any experience with it and it's China based, so I'm a bit hesitant to trust them.

I've taken part in few of your tournaments and even though I had a minimum communication with you, I know you're serious about your project. Yet new people won't be able to take you seriously since you're not in big exchanges.

Btw when I said that there must be an open spot, I noticed that in the spreadsheet there are 99 users filling 100 rows (1 row is the title).
Since the campaign's announcement is mentioning 100 participants, I believe I can could fill the last spot!

Isn't IOS also closed for new participants?
