It's been taken down, but don't worry I've already seen the article get rehosted several times. I'll search for those links, other than the cached from google.

They can be reversed.
If you can cash out before releasing the money. How can they be reversed? I was under the impression you can't pay with a credit card. And once you load the card with cash, you can't get a refund. Has anyone tried to buy a moneypak with credit card, or tried to get a refund after you've loaded the card?

Yes, blockchain.info. Not only can you tell when it was received, you also know how many confirmations it has had.

I want to accept MoneyPak (loading funds from moneypak card into my paypal account) for payment when selling btc. It seems like this is cash and not reversible once you use up the moneypak code. So can someone tell me why moneypak payment is not safe? It's marked as a "high risk" payment on LBC.

Can you please clarify what "Paypal Inquire" means? So it was paypal that detected and reversed the payment, not the buyer? I was looking to accept a paypal payment for btc soon, but this is a bit of a turnoff.
Did you mention ANYTHING about bitcoin in the topic or notes of the payment?

from trading minor fluctuations between different exchanges eg mtgox - coinbase - btc-e.
ive done it and now im rich if you follow what i did with my system i will show u for free wotch
buy when 400 on coinbase and sell when 401 on bitstomp do that with lots of money and u make 7 grand a week
OP, I can't find the ' Get Rich' button on any of these exchanges. Can you please make a tutorial?

OP, you're only correct to some extent. Although exchanges do have a lot of volume and command most of the prices, no one forces users to buy and sell on exchanges. There are thousands of merchants accepting, and you can buy/sell btc locally or trade directly between buyer/seller.

It's funny how the government won't back you up if you lose money in bitcoins, but they'll readily take a cut if you make money.
Here's a better idea. Rather than giving it to charity and personally get nothing from it, just spend it however you'd like and just don't report it for tax. There's no easy way to enforce taxing on this... not with the current technology. The infrastructure and cost to enforce this would be huge.

"Intrinsic value" is relative to the situation. If you're drowning in a lake, a bottle of water will have zero intrinsic value. If you're dying of thirst in a desert, that same bottle of water has a very high intrinsic value.

I nominate Mark Krapeles. He's almost as much of a hero has Broccoli Pierce.

So this was actually legit. I got an email straight from mtgox with a PDF attachment, I didn't open it assuming it was another embeded trojan to steel wallets.
Finally, first time the sleaze bag is dealing with US courts. This is way overdue.

Is it only a single round for sale? I'm interested if you have several (not worth it to buy just 1). You can get these rounds for spot + $0.70 from large dealers.
PS - technically, this is a silver round, not a coin. A coin is a legal tender with face value.

Why would a gift card need a "warranty", and what's the point of a 1-day warranty? I will buy a few of these under a few conditions:
Prove this wasn't purchased with a stolen credit card. Then you must send to me first, and I'll need to spend a small amount on each of them.

No wonder this forum couldn't search for it. He spelled it "Stabucks" Anyways this is not a legit deal. No one sells a legit deal for 85% off. I've seen time and again that these types of people buy gift card with stolen credit card. When the gift card company or credit card company catches it, the gift card will get voided. You know how I know? In the early days, I got scammed this way, buying a gift card that was too good to be true. /offtopic I'd be willing to do this loan also, but with proper collateral (no gift cards for me).

This is a bad idea. It sets the precedence that you only need a few good loans to get on that list, then you're open to scam people once on that list. It's a big potential for abuse.
Also, I doubt you'll be constantly monitoring and editing that list when users request to be added on there.

Currently there is a user selling 10 units of $100 starbucks GCs for $15 each.
I considered giving this loan, until I saw post. Link to this please? I searched the forum for starbucks but couldn't find anyone selling it in the digital goods section.

Does anyone on this pool still mine with GPUs? I'm assuming all the GPU miners already dumped their GPUs, or switched to another algo.

Gavin Andresen said he exchanged many PMs with satoshi on this forum. The only other person that has access to everyone's PMs is Theymos, so I'm sure if Theymos really wanted to figure out who satoshi was, he could get really close.
